@doombotmecha Thanks squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee It's...it's mostly trash. Arthur being available as a five star unit means that Lancebreaker 3 is now easier to get, and Linde is a scary good unit. I just really think it should have been something like this. - Corrin (Male) - Ephraim - Raigh - Oboro/Corrinne/Elise The lesson learned is that minions matter when it comes to selecting who to put on a banner (Arthur) and that story correlation doesn't matter so much. In hindsight, if you don't already have Cordelia, getting Cordelia (who DESTROYS Xander with TA and Brave lance) and Linde just by pulling blues is a pretty great haul. It's just...World of Radiance and Hero Fest banners are up at the same time, and Ike and Azura are just as influential at beating Xander as the banner is - and if you're like me, your wallet is still hurting from those banners to want to cough up more just to hunt blue stones. --- Xander Weapon: Siegfried (Sword, Mt:16) - Built in Distant Counter (THIS is why you should get Xander to 5* stars, as it makes him much easier to train) **Xander (5*)** Command Skill: Reposition - Moves your allies around (Godly skill) **Barst,Selena** Proc Skill: Moonbow/Bonfire (Procs reliably for 30% increased damage/Damage is increased somehow with your defense stat) **Palla,Odin/Robin, A!Tiki** A: Attack+3/Fury/Death Blow (Boosts Attack by 3/Boosts all stats in exchange for HP loss each turn/boosts attack when initiating combat (2-6) **Cherche/Hinata/Klein,Effie** B: Quick Riposte/Vantage/Brash Assault (Automatic counterattack above a certain HP threshold/Automatic counterattack below a certain HP threshold/automatic follow-up attack when below a certain HP threshold and opposing unit has the ability to counter) **Subaki,Klein/Lon'qu/Bartre** C: Threaten Defense/[something something Cavalry] (Threatens defense depending on skill's proficiency (2-4)/PONY EMBLEM BOIS) **Peri/!** Seal: Attack+1 ! = Horse Emblem Cavaliers Eliwood/Olwen: Ward Cav Jagen: Fortify Cav Gunter: Hone Cav Reinhardt: Goad Cav Xander is one of those units that has a TON of versatility. His kit gives him Armored Blow (Defense boosted when initiating combat (2-6) and points to him being a player phase unit, but being essentially Hector or Ike on horseback, the Siegfried dares the opposing forces to attack him. Going with Attack +3 allows for either or, while Fury essentially points to Enemy Phase and Death Blow only works on Player Phase. The B skills work similarly. Any distant counter unit wants Quick Riposte, while Vantage takes effect when a unit's HP has fallen a bit. Brash Assault requires a unit to be initiating combat and functions like a brave weapon - which Xander would like due to his low speed if he's going offensive. He's a great user of Reposition (and it's just a great skill on high move units) - and he actually gets more wins head-to-head with Moonbow as his proc skill over Bonfire, but of course, Xander likes the ability to get great offensive power, so both proc skills are good. I highly recommend getting Xander Threaten Def even if you only plan on using him for Horse Emblem teams. In the event that you want to build him around other units, such as Minerva and Azura, Threaten Def is more beneficial for non-Cavaliers.

SHE LIKE MY SWAG. SHE LIKE MY HAIRCUT-
-
Ooooh. Okay. Yeah. That makes sense. I just think the current banners mitigated that flank's purpose is all. Ryoma's real problem on the Lunatic map is the HP spike of all the units on the map. He handles the green Cav, but the sword is much beefier and has some better def, forcing Ryoma to Astra him on the next turn and allowing the lancer of Xander to catch him. Yeah. Ike is stupid good.
-
Xander's battle is horribly disappointing. 1. No Knights on his map. He's the only physically bulky unit in attendance. 2. The map would have been tougher if the magic cavalier was blue instead of green - as any distant counter red sword unit - even Ike, who is allergic to mages - can easily clear the right flank at the start of the match with dance support. Since both Ryoma and Ike are focuses at the moment this is easy to pull off. (Ike does get Sbreaker for the swordsman though - so maybe I'm being too hard here.) 3. Xander's speed is glaringly apparent as an enemy. He couldn't double my Hector - and thus I wasn't forced to restart. I do have a +Speed Hector though. Two battles. Two Xanders. --- I don't like the banner either. - Linde is probably the best pull, but she was going to be in the female mages banner soon. This is IntSys trying to have everyone's wallet perpetually open. - Chrom is the "high profile" pull to me. But if they wanted to go sword - this was an opportunity to go Male Corrin. Maybe Chrom is better on this map? I am not sold on the explanation regarding Falchion though. - Cordelia is fair enough - Arthur??? I guess you were wrong Xander. Justice isn't an illusion at all. He's (Arthur) only useful against the Lance Fighter, and in danger of getting destroyed by Xander due to positioning. I guess this is the "should be helpful but isn't" pull.
-
Third Guess: Ephriam Reasoning: Ephriam has only been on two banners. His maiden voyage banner, and the very first Voting Gauntlet banner titled "Princes". He's a high interest pull many Heroes might say is due a comeback - and because of this, coupled with his natural bulk and weapon triangle advantage over Xander - another Prince with an affinity for siblings - E here could be on the next GHB banner. Contrary: Possibly wishful thinking. Fourth Guess: Oboro Reasoning: Let's say Ephriam isn't the "hook" unit in the Battling Xander banner. Or let's say that our "bad" unit isn't Raigh. Oboro is a discount Ephriam who is also rocking lances (which Xander doesn't like with Seigfried equipped nearly as much as he might be okay with the Carrot Lance at his hip) along with Seal Defense. Oboro has two narrative gimmicks. One of those narrative gimmicks is that she's a Hoshidan unit who absolutely loathes Nohr (even having a personal skill that reflected such enmity) to the point where her face becomes nightmarish. This makes the seamstress and retainer of Takumi (who also loathes Nohr) a unit that seriously rattles Xander's two main pillars (Sword offense and being bulky) and has tangible plot to tie into the banner. Contrary: The best contrarian reasonings would be that Oboro would need to break through Xander's stronger defense stat - and if you pull her, her Heavy Lance won't be all that helpful because Xander is just naturally bulky (or boosted merely by Armored Blow on Enemy Phase) Oboro would need Xander to have knight units on his map to utilize her stock weapon.
-
I wonder who will be in the battling Xander banner. I have not seen news of it yet. First guess: Raigh!!! (Just sub his name in. Wrong child dark mage.) Reasoning: Henry is a mage that doesn't suffer a weakness to Xander's sword (albeit same color so no advantage either) that can hit for Resistance, which the Paragon Knight lacks greatly. He also is the only pay-to-play mage to carry a wolf tome, which is super effective against Ponies. (The other mages, Robinne and Ursula, are GHB units.) Contrary: He doesn't really like Siegfried's ranged counterattack, but he's a bulkier mage. Second Guess: Corrin(ne) Either Corrin holds significant Fates story presence alongside Xander, making them fairly likely. Corrinne, as a dragon, is able to hit Xander's poor resistance and she holds the color advantage on all phases of the turn, while also de-buffing the whole map. Male Corrin on the other hand canonically sides with Hoshido in the Fates conflict - making for a story advantage over Corrinne. He also could be there to take on the Emblian henchmen - specifically green magic units - and buff your allies.
-
I don't believe Xander gets Wings of Mercy by default. I was also thinking. Ardent Sacrifice may not be too bad on Xander if you decide not to run Fury. He has the physical bulk and HP for it to help your magic users without putting himself at risk. You would have to get rid of Reposition though as well. So it may not be the build you were looking for - just for all of us to consider. I think Ardent Sac is a neat skill and Xander or someone running it seems more efficient then having a cleric cavalier at the moment.
-
Xander you're going to want bulky offensive. Heroes is very generous with his power as he'll reach 48 Attack at 40 as opposed to a decent 37 defense (with the weapon equipped - I don't know Sieg's might.) Armored Blow is worth consideration though. Fury and Death Blow are decent if you are wanting more power - the former is viable because Xander is quite beefy, but it does limit his physical tanking ability. If you're into shove or smite strats, a defensive Xander could use those to save an Olwen, Ursula, or a Healer. Otherwise Xander likes reposition. Hit and Run from Clair would be funny on Xander, along with Drag Back. If you want to use him outside of Horse Emblem these are fun to consider.
-
I'd rather get Hector Sheena's shield skill than sacrifice him to give Sheena distant counter. He's far and away one of the best Knights in the game and Sheena is essentially the same unit with a unique skill in exchange for another and a personal weapon. In other words, Armads solidifies Hector's superiority. Its also worth mentioning that movement issues make most AI-Knights laughable, with the troublesome AI controlled Knights coming with command skills that fix said movement issues (see:Zephiel GHB). It's one of the reasons I gave Hector Pivot. It allows him to leapfrog another unit and gives him extra move. I guess Sheena is a typical defense knight, while Hector is more like Green Effie in the sense that attacking him is generally a risky play for the unit involved. If I want straight bulk - give me Lukas who can at least move farther and has Obstruct and Fortress Defense. --- A better sacrifice for Quick Riposte is Subaki, because Klein and Leo are both great units. The only issue though is that all of them need to be 5* units to get access to Quick Riposte 3. That's a decent enough argument to sacrifice Klein if you can pull him at 5 stars. --- Xander has been leaked. Somewhat. Seigfried - supposedly counters at range, a la Ragnell and Raijinto. Armored Blow. Spur Def. Great Attack and Defense. Not very fast. GHB = always Neutral. Probably a fantastic addition to Horse Emblem and can compete with Magic cavaliers due to Siegfried for a spot.
-
So. Some polishing has been made - mostly with command skills. Azura has all the things she needs to fill her build out. Hector has been given Pivot. Pivot's pretty good for Armors because they can quickly position themselves to protect two flanks of another ally. It also helps his poor movement in a pinch. I went ahead and gave Ike Swap. --- Units I want, ala "Pheonixmaster1" levels of priority. Top Priority - Linde - Leo - Takumi - Kagero - Jaffar - Alm Moderate Priority - Claire - Faye - MCorrin - Lucina - Elise - Sakura Low Priority - Saizo - 4* Shanna - 4* Hinata (oh my gosh, things I didn't expect to say) - Good Inheritance Fodder, here, really.
-
For Azura? I guess it depends on how you want to use Swap. With Azura it would probably be to get her out of danger. That world make Drag Back better to me.

There's some interesting conflicting data coming out of the sales numbers in Japan. Echoes reached an 80% sell-through rate, which means the game is doing about as well as Nintendo had expected it to do. However, it's only sold about a THIRD of what Fates sold in it's first week, and less than Shadow Dragon and Mystery's remake, which were panned quite hard by the Fire Emblem community. Reasons: Gaiden has been around in Japan for a long time. It's not a mysterious entity like it is to the rest of the world. This is good, because sales figures abroad should likely help out any lag the game may be experiencing at home. Another franchise that suffers in Japan traditionally but picks up abroad is Pokemon. Advertising and showing off the game has been rather slim compared to Awakening and Fates, indicating that Nintendo had didn't have hopes that this game was going to keep pace with Fates and Awakening in the first place, and maybe didn't go all out in trying to make it something people were going to buy in spades. There isn't two versions of Echoes, meaning it's not such a troubling sign that it's being dwarfed by Fates' three-times-it's-size selling numbers. When thinking about what kinds of things the Japanese gaming community are interested in - it's pretty acceptable that modern game mechanics like pair-up and more importantly, the player avatar are appreciated. Dating simulators are a phenomenon over there, so they probably really appreciate being able to work their long hours and then settle for a very cheap date clearing Chapter 22 with their virtual wife. I don't think it's something that should really be judged all that hard. --- However, it's understandable several other Fire Emblem players would be worried. Many people wanted Echoes to do well in hopes that the numbers would inspire more remakes to be made, namely of games like Thracia 776. Others wanted "classic" Fire Emblem to be popular with the surging fanbase of the last two installments and hoped Echoes would ultimately be that game. As a singular "new-school" tactician, I am still very excited for Echoes. I don't care if it's not doing so hot, not all games do in long running franchises. I think reviews would be the more interesting thing when the game finally goes global.

@Sheep Raven actually looks kinda dope. I was originally dismayed that he killed my focus multiplier by turning up 5*, but then I got Hector two pulls later anyway, so that's neat. Is FE7 the game with Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector? I assume it's one of those games because I think Priscilla is in those games. While I have you - Tell me about Cordelia, mate. I pulled her at 4*, and she comes with some pretty good stuff. Galeforce seems stupid broken (because it just is by nature.) --- R8 my build, frens. "Dark Song/Nohr!/Conquest" Azura Pre-requisites I recommend: Florina, Palla, Cain, Olivia Sapphire Lances Sing Moonbow A - Speed +3/Darting Blow B - Wings of Mercy C - Hone Attack So, this name sort of explains Azura's general nature as a unit in this game. Her strength is ambitious and she can potentially be able to back up that strength with decent agility to compliment her raw power - making her an offensive threat designed for the more reckless Heroes' clientele out there. At least to red units, Azura is just as scary as Ike (who canonically has a lower strength growth than the songstress - SOMEONE PLEASE GET ME FAN ART of Azura stalling Ike in an arm wrestling contest she's going to win eventually - I'll make it my profile picture and credit you in my member's title. Bonus points if you can picture them in work out or fitness apparel.) Moonbow can come reliably from Palla or Odin - and it's a nice proc that happens reliably often to give Azura an even BIGGER damage output, which helps her polish off other blue units and increasing her presence. For A, Azura comes with a decent stock skill chain in place. You can effectively boost her speed by three just by getting the SP needed to rank those skills up. This brings neutral Azura up to 39 speed, and positive speed Azura to a breezy 42. However, Darting Blow meanwhile brings neutral Azura to 42 and positive speed Azura to a damn quick 45 speed, allowing her to outspeed almost every neutral speed opponent she runs into on player phase. If that unit is a red unit - they are D.E.A.D. A good unit to sacrifice for Azura to pick up Darting Blow is Florina, who is a fairly common blue unit to pull. For B, all you need is one Cain. Remember how making Azura a Witch just for Warp was ridiculously broken? Same concept applies here on with the stipulation that her destination unit has suffered some damage. If you need Azura to sing for someone outside of her movement range, Wings of Mercy can allow her to warp to another unit, and she can definitely sing for that unit to give them another turn either to escape or retaliate their way to safety. For C, you take the best thing about Olivia other than Dance, and give it to a better unit than Olivia in Azura. The result, a much scarier performer that jacks up the adrenaline of the other units in your squad. You could also use Fortify Res, which I believe comes stock on Azura here, or go for Fortify Defense, depending on what kind of team or task you are wishing to deal with.

What are the cutest pokemon to you personally?
Chase replied to Monochrome_Complex's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
5. Cosmog. I think this is one of those things that won me over on Sun and Moon. Nebby is the best meme, and the cutest thing about Generation 7. 4. Charmander. I'll always remember Charmander being left out in the rain in the anime and then getting licked by Haunter, which is supposedly fatal. It's no wonder Ash doesn't get any respect from his Charizard, it's nearly been killed - twice. There's nothing cuter than utter despondent behavior caused by regularly traumatic experiences. Also, Charmander is genuinely a cute Pokemon. 3. Pichu. In Super Smash Brothers, Pichu was considered a joke character, that inflicted damage on itself. All the time. Whenever you used it. It's already a cute Pokemon, but being cute and clumsy? Cmon. That's icing on the cake. 2. Chespin. Anime Chespin is my spirit animal. It likes to eat. I like to eat, and it's a part of the best Pokemon evolutionary line ever. 1. Quilladin. Because haters, are my motivators. -
Oh, me neither, I will be pulling for him when the Gauntlet banner comes out for sure. I also already have Tharja, and she's likely my next 5* Promote now that I don't have to promote Olivia. What happens at the end of this video. Is what's going to happen to Robin.
-
If you want to have the devil's own luck, join Leo. c: The real reason you should join Leo is so you can climb up your teams ranks faster - getting you more feathers for less work. If everyone joins Tharja (as I think they will - Tharja should win the guantlet no problem.) then players in her army will need work harder because of more people they have to jockey for position with. If you like playing Heroes as a casual experience (which it's geared for) - then Leo is a better option for Tharja because it's slightly more negotiable to play casually under his banner than Tharja's, where a lapse may just leave you in the dust.
-
I don't understand this...but here's me. Name: Hunter Stand: Dolly Survival Ability: Erases effect Power: 5 Speed: 2 Range: 4 Durability: 3 Precision: 5 Potential: 4 ....what does that mean? I don't know what Jojo is.......
-
So...on the one hand, I got Ike for free, and I got Azura and Hector without falling for the trap banner that the World of Radiance ended up being (meaning, people actually went out of their way to spend money with the hopes of pulling Ike, because it's finally Ike - only to have to pull out more money for Azura, Hector, Takumi, and Ryoma two days later.) On the other, I still ended up paying up money, so my luck was tempered a bit, and Takumi must think I'm Nohrian Scum, so it wasn't a clean sweep after getting the most expensive orb set. Thankfully, Takumi was not that big of a deal for me, and I already have Ryoma - but I will only do this for summoning banners I feel are worth it as a whole. ...assuming I forget I like having money and a banner falls on a time where it's okay for me to splurge. All and all, I'm glad I did it. It was fun - and for me, Heroes is a game I enjoy because I like to collect things rather than the actual battles. I also go a few new units out of the deal. -Hawkeye -Raven (5*) -Clarine -Maria -Gordin -Gaius -Cordelia -Beruka --- So, let's get to seeing what these banner pulls are all about. Azura: No boon. No bane. - which is one of her recommended stat spreads according to the IV Calc (grading out at B.) Azura is better than Olivia out of the box because her Sapphire Lance+ makes her hard counter reds, which are popular Arena enemies. Singers and Dancers really don't need to focus on stats all that much, unless you wanted Azura to avoid being doubled, or Ninian to laugh off enemies and attack them at ranges with Lightning Breath+. I'm satisfied just by having singing waifu in the fold. Hector: My Hector seems to think he's more of a Myrmidon than he is a Knight. Mine is +Speed, -Attack. That doesn't sound good at all because knights aren't fast to start with - and he's going to be wearing kid gloves just to maybe ....dream...about doubling Effie......., but at least he has neutral def and his res isn't as bad as it could be? I can't be too mad. He still gets Distant Counter. --- List of 5* -Ike -Ryoma -Hector -Azura -Hinoka -Camilla -Lukas -Seliph -Catria -Soren -Priscilla (I actually rolled a 5* Priscilla today too, and I sent her home because I already had one. GURRL, you ain't Takumi or a Fates royal healer or Kagero get on out of here...) -Raven (LOL...WHO ARE YOU- WAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT YOU CAME HERE BECAUSE PRISCILLA IS YOUR SISTER. HEY RAYMOND WHATS UP.........)
-
Got up to one pull. Annnnnnnnnnd- Jagen. Thats. Definitely not Azura. :((((((( Ike. Did you use up all my luck?
-
HOLD ON. HOLD THE PHONE. the next summon banner. (Tonight?) Ryoma. AZURA. Takumi. Hector. And 5* pulls are 5% to start? .......................can someone confirm or deny this???????????????? I don't like my emotions being played with. if they aren't. Money is being spent. ill take Azura and Hector.

I'm excited for Linde being a focus at least. I'm in need of a blue mage my dudes and she's like. The best one. (I -DO- wish Lillina was a part of the focus over Tharja, that's definitely another winner. And I already have Tharja.) The only male I don't have in the other banner is Leo. VG Banners wish-list. 1. Linde 2. Leo 3. Julia 4. Sanaki 5. MRobin 6. Tharja. 7. Henry 8. Merric I'll be joining Team Leo (UNFINISHED BUSINESS) in this voting gauntlet. I was on his team in the first one and we got annihilated by Chrom.

I think the Switch is going to be the future of Nintendo's brand, as it's already had a much better launch than it's predecessor did. Breath of the Wild was a fantastic title to have on launch day, and with several games from traditional Big N lineups to broader 3rd Party capabilities, such as having games like Yooka-Laylee in the future, along with sports games and RPGs not traditional to the Nintendo console in the pipeline, there's definitely not cause for concern with regards to that statement. However, there's also the new 2DSXL, a new version of the 2DS. It comes with a top half, amiibo functionality, and access to the entire 3DS library. Is this an indication that Nintendo is using the 2/3DS as a bargain console alternative to it's dual-capable Switch, or is this the final saga for the portable consoles? There is something to go on. Pokemon Black and White 2 happened to come at the end of the original DS' lifespan, with the next year seeing the release of the 3DS, followed by Pokemon falling dormant prior to X and Y. If there is going to be yet another Pokemon game, and the 3DS series is meant to be a bargain option to it's 2-in-1 bigger brother, then that has some pretty big implications on some handheld traditional games. We may yet see another 'Mons title available for the 3DS. It's not likely, but with this kind of period it's definitely possible.
-
Titania seems more like a Gunter like character to me who could fall to 4 stars in the future and become a regular green pull after the World of Radiance hype has died off a bit. Though, I think you just have to keep trying with her. You'll get her.

While I'm not going to say that Islam is a religion that needs to be washed out (as that would be a TON of work, for one, that wouldn't ever get done) - I do believe it falls on the nominal Muslim population to positively influence their radical brothers and sisters - and that it falls on the rest of the population to provide consequences to uphold order should they refuse to intervene. While there are atrocities that happen all the time in Islamic dominant areas in the Middle East and intervening where we shouldn't is one thing, attacks like Paris has seen shouldn't be just "allowed to straighten itself out." In America, the equivalent of that would be to allow an action like the plane hijackings on September 11th, 2001 to go unchecked. While there may be some semblance of sound reasoning behind non-intervention, it's a horrific affront for a politician to effectively fail to defend their own people - when it's their job to do so. Another example of this - for those of you with beef remaining from the Bush years, was the reaction to Pearl Harbor before America entered World War II. Is any transgression against human life - even our own - an idea we should stomach? As one who holds life as valuable, no. However, presidents and prime ministers don't work in a vacuum where preserving the most life possible wins the day. There are some enemies out there that will ask for a glass of milk if you give them a cookie. That glass of milk ultimately costs more of "your own" lives if you keep acquiescing. --- This is where I can sympathize with anti-Muslim nationalists in this day and age - even though their passion on the subject is rather unsettling. A politician that tries to embrace the idea of Islamism without drawing the line and acting when it is crossed isn't a politician that cares about their own people all that much, no matter how pure the dream of everyone "getting along" after Islam figures itself out abroad is. France has put up with quite a lot of problems involving radicalized Islam. To put those under the rug as propaganda points for conservative French citizens is remiss of any opponent to someone who highlights them as issues. If Macron wants to embrace more of Fillon's base, he will need to acknowledge that Islamic terrorism is a problem, and suggest an alternative that isn't as crazy as Le Pen's. I sincerely hope that he does, because Le Pen seems more unsettling as a leader than he. And the truth is, both of them are green.

I'm with Sheep, Aether should always been in Ike's kit, or it isn't Ike. Heavy Blade is also better than I thought it would be, and Ike himself was WELL. WELLLLLLLLLL worth the wait. The good news is that Ike has to start out with New Moon and Luna, the second of which he can swap out if he wants to proc a skill more often in exchange for the healing capability. In an off-topic rant, slightly, let me tell you why Ike is the reason my day got infinitely better than how it started: I usually get paid on every other Wednesday - except for some reason, my bank never got my direct deposit this week. I had to wake up early this morning and retrace my steps the following week to figure out where the mishap was - running through pretty much the whole payroll process. 1. I immediately contacted my on-site point of contact. This girl is slightly younger than I am and basically runs the after-school program at the school I work at. She's in charge of providing me my time-sheet and taking it to our "supervisor" so it can be processed. She affirmed that she saw me sign my time-sheet -and- that I had given it to her -and- that she had provided all of the sites time-sheets to the supervisor. This cleared me from the possibility of being careless myself and her for losing my sheet on the way to our boss. 2. The boss tells me that she had turned in the Recreation Center's time-sheets all at once - as per usual - and that she didn't have my physical copy in her possession, suggesting I contact my bank. This essentially -would- clear my bosses name for negligence. She took her time responding to me, about a good 2 hours, and I had to regroup in order to take a literature exam during this time. 3. The bank tells me I DON'T have a pending deposit on record, and suggests I contact my employer. I work for the city government as a local recreation leader. (harhar, the resident conservative has a government job.) - meaning I was about to be in a serious bind and I was going to need to dig up information on people I don't know in order to find my paycheck. Flustered, I contact my on-site peer again and she suggests I talk to Human Resources, as they have access to the pay records. It didn't make any sense to me, to be honest, but I had no other option at this point. 4. HR - surprisingly - tells me that I had NO hours listed in the last pay cycle, but they judge from my utter shock on the other end that this is a mistake. They re-direct the call to a lady who is technically my bosses' boss. She is responsible for connecting the Parks and Recreation office to the city's Finance office, and thus, she puts in my time-sheet personally so I can get paid. 5. Parks and Rec takes a solid 45 minutes to get to my voice message, during which I force myself to hurriedly eat lunch. It's at this time where I decide to open up Heroes, try some of the World of Radiance missions on Hard mode, and get up to five orbs. When I did, I was in a horrible mood and decided to bet on the lone red stone in the batch of summons. I actually blurt out "I'm not getting Ike." - only to pull Ike. If you've ever seen a Dude Perfect Trick Shot Episode on Youtube, that kind of celebration after they finally nail a trick shot is one I allow myself. Immediately after yelling "LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" - Parks and Rec calls back and tells me I'm getting a hard check cut to me tomorrow. I also find out, that today is my last day of "class" for the spring semester. Ike was my guardian angel's sign today.
