After the threat had ceased Argos remained notably quite. Once dismissed he just walked away and just wandered around the castle. His vision was a blurr as he aimlessly walked about with no destination in mind, "I really am useless... aren't I? What kind of great warrior has to be saved constantly? Maybe... maybe everyone at home was right... I am worthless." He vision came into focus when he reached some sort of training area with hay training dummies scattered about. Upon looking at one, he was imeditly filled with rage. He has more in common with a shabby dummy than any warrior of any skill level in the world. "wwwwwrrrrrrrRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" He roared taking out his wooden blade and ruthlessly bashing it into the the bale on a stick without cease. "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT! DAMMIT!" The wooden blade began to chip and crack while pieces of hay scattered about.

Earlier that day... "Nicolos, are you sure you want to hold the meeting in the woods? Any manor of people could come and interrupt or attack you!" "Eh, you worry too much. I prefer the outdoors and that old room was too stuffy. Besides, I doubt anyone would know about us in the woods. We'll be fine." Back to the present... "Gods dammit! Again with the interruptions!" The man had his hand on the hilt of his blade ready to counter, but the girl never attacked. Wait she knows about him? Well, he is rather famous now. No they've specifically met before but for the life of him he can't remember. "Huh? I can't say I remember your name though your face looks familiar... Who are you?"

"I see..." Hmmmm, well that was extremely unhelpful. Well, at least he confirmed his suspicions so thats something. "Well, I don't see any paths forward at the moment... Unless we go into queen Stella's room but that is out of the question. No matter, this should suffice for now." He nodded while holding his hand to his chin before placing his hand on the shoulder of the knight, "Oh, and Albert, from one servant to another I express my deepest condolences for what has befell the king. However, you must not give into despair. Think of those you still have left to serve, to protect. The queen needs you now more than ever and it is our duty to be a stout pillar for our masters to lean on. Do not... fail in this duty like I have..."

"Sir Albert, if we could bother you for a moment there are some questions I would ask of you regarding the assassination. I know everything is rather sudden for everyone, but it is imperative that one must remain diligent especially in times like these." Baldur spoke to the knight. Without giving him a chance to respond he continued, "First of all how was the state of the King's room when you entered it? Any open windows with prime shooting locations? I'm referring to other balconies or rooftops. Second, how was the king's body? I know he was shot with an arrow, but if my suspicions are correct there should have been a noticeable amount of poison on the arrow and in his body. Lastly, from what info we gathered from the thief we learned that Gul's involvement in this raid was to secure 'something that belonged to Gul'. Would you by chance know of an item such at this?"

"Get.... off me.... you...." Was all Argos could mutter after he got struck by a bolt of lightning. Verden move to H5 and Heal Noami

Baldur has this odd feeling like they're being watched, but is confident enough to pay it no mind. The butler nods along as the Thief confesses all he knows, "Hmmmm, I see. Looks like we'll need to ask Albert about what exactly they have that 'Belongs to Gul'." He speak the the red head mage before turning his attention back towards the thief, "Well, from what I know of Snowbird she'll be here any moment now. However, if we do see her we'll let her know right away. Oh, and by the way, make sure to put the bottles you took back. I didn't save your life just so you could go swiping again." He sighs turning back towards Crimson once more, "Lets go find Albert, he should still be roaming the halls somewhere."

"Alright scumbag, we went through hell to get here. I hope you've said your prayers because I'm quite pissed off at the moment." The boy said cracking his knuckles approaching the mage, "I swear to the gods... if I see one more balista arrow... if I see one more bolt... if I see another drop of poison... I'M GONNA LOOSE MY SHI-, MARBLES! I'M GONNA LOOSE MY MARBLES!" The lad speech became a rage filled screech and he charged towards the throne aiming to cut down the mage. Argos to I4, and rolls a a 1 Crit on Milich (with his Unsigned Blade)

"I have a little friend who might know a thing or two about our assailants. Come, lets head over to the infirmary." With that he led the way to the infirmary... or well he led the investigation as Crimson would lead them to the infirmary since he would know this place better than he would. Once they made it in Baldur went up the the thief boi and spoke, "If you're well enough to speak then do so, now. I'd like to hear every detail, especially for the green-haired man."

"Bitch..." Baldur said under his breath as Lizaveta headed off with Mim. Once he arrived at the throne room the butler was just in time to hear the assassination details for the King. While he didn't exactly like the King, he was on the top of his list. He just... didn't do anything. However, this murder did ring familar bells to him and he respects Stella and Kane too much to not at least attempt to look for evidence. However, it'd be foolish to do it alone and there was only really one other man he could trust to help him with this endeavor... well trust a bit more than the others as well as not being the worst of company. "Crimson I need your help." He spoke walking up to the man leaning against the wall. "I don't plan to sit idly by as the Kings assassins get away. There still maybe some evidence of the crime if we hurray, but I do not wish to do this alone. Therefore, I've come to you since I believe you'd be interested in this as well. Plus, two minds are better than one. Well, what say you?"

Baldur so wanted to continue on with his rant of anger, at Lizaveta especially after she stormed in with her shtick. But then a voice rings in the back of his head. He took a moment to think whether this was really worth getting all up in arms about. He came to the conclusion that this was probably a big waste of everyone's time and energy. Ugh great... "Y-you're right Mink, I shouldn't be so quick to get up in arms and Fiscus... I... a-apologize." Gods those word stung to say, especially to say it for Shin of all people. "I'm gonna... see if anyone else needs attending to." His gaze then turns to Lizaveta, "Oh and next time Scarlet, mind your own business. No one needed you to run over here just to stir things up more"

Baldur turns his head towards Lenore, "Like I would let anyone die on my watch." He waved his hand dismissively before some purple and green.... and red got into his light of slight. His mouth dropped for a moment, only briefly before Baldur turned his whole body towards this mess of a man and spoke with the fury of the gods themselves, "Fiscus... What, IN THE BLOODY FUCK, IS THIS!"

And the story continues from here 11th of Second Heat It took 2 days of long and silent traveling to return back to Candlelight. Nicolos' head was drooped the entire way back. Once they made it to the city Nicolos dismissed the group for the rest of the day. That is until the next morning where they had a strange summons to a specific part of the woods nearby Candlelight. It was just a ten minute walk into the wilderness, where they would find an grove with logs circled around what looked to be where a camp fire was once lit. Nicolos seems to have been waiting nervously reading through a book waiting for everyone to arrive. He seemed to be back to peak condition now, even after starring death in the face mere days ago. Once everyone had sat down Nicolos closed his tome with one hand before speaking. "I am... sorry everyone. It was cause of my carelessness that we almost lost everything. My incompetence almost lead to my death and the betrayal of all the faith anyone has put with me." The mage's eyes then began to burn with conviction, "However, even so I still yet live. WE still yet live. And while this body of mine still breathes I refuse to give up! I refuse to leave this country in the hands of another power hungry monarch!" He takes a deep breath to calm himself before continuing. "What really puzzles me was Lancelot's actions. Not that I am not grateful for him saving my life, I just can't understand his motives. Also his last condition strikes me as odd as well. What does he gain from having none us or the retainers of Rosanne die? What are all your thoughts on this matter?"

The butler stands over Hulbert's pin cushioned corpse and spits on it before turning over to Kane and Mim, "I was going to assist whether you ordered me to or not." Baldur spoke pulling back his gloves and readying his staff. He got on his knee and began focusing his healing magic where the thief was skewered sealing the wound and stopping the bleeding. Once the threat of death for the man had passed the butler let out sigh, "There, you should be out of death's door now. Just don't make any sudden movements or you will reopen that would." He then turns his head towards the small apothecary, "However, Snowbird, I must agree with what Phoenix said earlier. I was ready to come assist you but you had already taken care of him by the time I caught up. I am quite impressed."

At the sign of the princess' retreat the air slowly begins to get lighter and lighter. His helmet shifts toward Gwyn, his voice a lot more calm now. Still as deep as ever, however, "Hmph. If that fae child, or Ari as you call him, can't handle something as minor as that, then he isn't fit to serve as a retainer. He should be thankful it was just that, the Knights of the Round went thorough much more through and intensive tests than that." "I must agree with him Sir Lancelot." Nicolos interjected gently setting the half-fae onto the ground. Maybe this time he'll actually finish what he has to say, "I had heard you became more vicious over the years but to treat Arissell as such. Has your sense of honor been lost to you?" "Honor!? Don't begin to lecture me about honor BOY or should I call you a barbaric bandit from your days of old? To me, you are all nothing but hooligans disturbing the peace and in need of discipline. If anything, his actions show poorly on you! You think I ever let Arthur get away with being an annoyance like that? PAH! You should be grateful you yet breath boy, this isn't the first time I've sparred your life! Need I bring up details of Greatwood? Should I gift you with another scar on your face?" "Mmmmmppppffff." With that Nicolos managed to slowly bring himself to his feet and pulled Infernus from the ground. He then headed the opposite way of Rosanne, his walk turning into more of a limp once he was sure he was out of sight of most onlookers. Excalibur: Infernus continues here

". . ." Lancelot stayed silent as Blodeuyn threw her mushrooms. Goddess help him, these are the people they chose? Still on his knee the rebel leader wryly uttered, "Heh, isn't obvious you dogs of the crown? Lancelot has chosen to side with-" Before he could finish, he was yet again cut off but this time it was by a bolt of black magic landing mere centimeters in front of him. "Hold your tongue, BOY! In no way did I say I would serve you!" With his free hand he summons a magic hand as black as the night sky. Before anyone has anytime to react the hand wraps around Arissell neck and lifts him up into the air and dragging him into the knight real one. Ari would feel like his very life essence was being choked along with his body. "Listen here you brats, these villagers specifically want nothing to do with this feud of yours! Yet just the mere rumor of me being in this location has you all swarming like moths to a flame!" His grip tightens on the fae before he tosses back. Nicolos, pushing through the pain of his wounds catches Ari before he lands onto the ground. "Secondly, I am severely disappointed in the ones chosen by the Fire Emblem. Going straight for the kill does nothing yet provide a empty void for someone else to take to continue this chaos. So I'm giving all of you three orders. One, leave this city immediately and NEVER return. Two, all future squabbles between you two will be held outside of cities and away from any innocent civilians. Three, no one under the direct command of the ones chosen by the Emblem will be allowed to perish in these squabbles. You WILL follow these orders, whether you like it or not! Unless... you budding maggots think you have a chance in taking me down."

...A horrible chill goes down your spine... Galen successfully lands a sword strike on the archer at close range. The Fae is able to launch a blast of fire before Neve has time to even think to counter attack. She is then knocked out from the triple attack. Neve Retreats! ...Dark winds cross over the battlefield... Noticing an opening in their defenses, Nicolos decides to end this as soon as possible and engage Rosanne himself. No words were spoken as he leap straight for her. The two rightful rulers exchange blows. In mere moments both of them are brought to their knees. However, Rosanne was able to push through and channel Glacius' power through the ground and a line of ice spikes zoomed toward the rebel leader. It looks the the rebellion will come to an end... . . . . . . [??? Phase] That is until a black figure leap from on top of the statute directly in front of the fiery tactician. He formed a dark purple barrier which collided with Rosanne's frigid attack creating a could of icy pale blue and shadowy deep purple. When the cloud subsided the figure revealed itself... It was an armored man atop of a black steed wielding a black lance. The air begins to feel thick, like every breath is harder to take in than the last. All who are even slightly attuned to magic can feel his overwhelming presence while the others just begin to feel heavier and heavier by the moment. As he gaze locked upon the armored knight Nicolos' mouth began to gape, "Wait you're-" "Kaff! Hech!" The mage could not finish his words with being interuppted by his boding coughing up a bit of blood. "Leave, Now." Was all the knight spoke glaring directly at the members of Team Glacius. His voice was deep and filled with rage... or was it disappointment...? The knight swings his lance towards the ground and another wave of chills goes across the field. After a few moments of silence, who is brave enough to speak with this figure. Cheat Sheet:

Baldur wasted no time heading over to Mim to patch up her wounds. He was just in time to see the run away getting stabbed by his own leader and left for dead. He could feel the rage swell up within him as the man lie bleeding on the floor. "And he calls himself a leader. To try and kill one of his own is such a ruthless manor." Noticing the man still breathing on the floor Baldur feels some sense of relief, "No, there's still time left to save that man. We must act quickly however!" Seeing as the situation in this hallway is basically cleared up it would be best to regroup with the others. "Crimson, Phoenix, you two can take care of the last one. I'm going to see if the others need assistance." As he made his way into the main chamber he noticed Mim being tag teamed but a pair of thieves. Well, one thief now. "Tch, two on one hardly seems chivalrous. Though, seeing as your pal has already kicked the bucket you'll follow soon after. I suggest taking Snowbird's offer and run with your tail between legs."
