At the mention of "Rose", Enya stopped abruptly. "Miss... Rose? Oh no, I left her behind, didn't I?" cried the little girl in panic. "He might get her, he might look into her! We have to keep her safe!" The child rambled on, still mad from being seen by Someone.

A quizzical smile couldn't help spreading on the girl's face when she saw Henry smiling. "It's... not really losing that bugs me." In the background, the Litwick showed off some more, oblivious, for once, to his favorite person (next to Raiza)'s presence. Wiggling his legs, the Deino persuaded his Trainer to let him down to watch the Ghost-Fire type in his entrancing dance. "My babies here, they all work and train hard. I sent Toothless and Lucifer out for the battle against James-- he's pretty good, actually. That Duskull of his is pretty powerful with his tricks and illusions. But what irks me is that... Well, in that battle, it just seemed as if all the effort these fellows put into training and the fight itself just got swept away easily." The girl shrugged, adding, "Feels like I've let 'em down, pon." Absentmindedly, she scratched the back of her head with her other hand so that the Skorupi on her shoulder wouldn't fall. Next to her, Rogue heaved a sigh, frustrated with her Trainer who couldn't seem to see that she had no reason to torment herself over the loss.

Lord. LORD. THAT LIGHT. ARCEUS TAKE THE WHEEL I'M BLINDED-- oh wait it's gone. And in place of one landshark stood a bigger, deadlier-looking landshark. Well, schitt. "If somebody get chuck some Toxic Spikes and hazards into the ditches, that'd be nic--" Aaaaand theeeen an Earthquake. The chainsaw-slinger girl turned wildly, desperately trying to keep her balance, only to see Cerberus trying to stand his ground. "Cerberu-- Chaos, Protect him!" The Moonlight Pokemon didn't even need her Trainer to tell her what to do, already putting up an impenetrable barrier around the hellhound and herself. Ground moves were not nice. Ground moves hurt. When the shaking passed, Zephyr wheeled around and glared at the Mega Garchomp. "You bastards think you can get away with hurting them?!" Now they dunnit, and they were gunnageddit. "Pancake, bud, go help out the Sandile with digging. Cerberus, Chaos, fill the trenches with Toxic and come back quickly before they can get too close! Make a Smog cloud with Smokescreen too, Cerb'!" I'm fine, really-- Zephyr doesn't have to worry so much, thought the Dark-Fire type as he sprinted into action alongside Chaos after Pancake did his part, digging alongside the Dark-Ground type Pokemon. True, the Earthquake shook him, but he was still standing and strong enough to spew toxins and smoke at the dragons. "Betcha they don't like flashing lights, eh, folks?" cried out Chaos, sending out psychedelic orbs of light into the cloud for the oncoming Gabite to have fun with once they got into the ditches.

Well Achlyx is actually quite frightened... XD also how'd you react if you were in a haunted house and suddenly this figure comes up, his face both covered in shadows and lit by candlelight? By the way, sorry that I took a while in replying. Internet connection here is wonky.

Swiveling around and totally not startled (nobody really had to know she was) to see Henry in the Haunted House, Raiza said," Oh, so you're here too, pon." The dancing flame and shadows caught her eye once more, and she continued, "It's all Lucifer, really. He's got a flair for the dramatics at times, pon. And I've got to say, you'd probably be a better Trainer in my place, if I'd be a better Coordinator than a Trainer..." her voice trailed off with a hint of disappointment. She wasn't sure if Henry saw the fiasco that was her battle. Strange how she cared if he saw what a blunder she made. The Sneasel looked up at the human that approached, then at her Trainer. "Snee," she cried in her cool, quiet way, trying to reassure her Trainer. Maybe this guy could cheer her up, but... That was probably a low chance-- he wasn't even there to see the battle. A particular Dark-Dragon type bounded over to sniff the new scent that was another human. The sensation of suddenly being lifted didn't faze him as Raiza's voice followed with: "Ah, yeah, this is Toothless. On my shoulder's Achlyx, pon. Kids, this is Henry." Rasping with a friendly tone and reaching over as though wanting to be held by the new Trainer-- Henry, that is. From Raiza's shoulder, the Skorupi watched cautiously. Maybe this was a prop... or a ghost...?

Oh hi Uncle Jerry. I've not been coming here often enough... hm. PWB, come hither -
"It's almost as if you have a head of white blooms," Helzebeth said, smiling so much more freely with her sister close by. "And you'll be amazed what power this tiny bloom holds in her petals. It is as if Aelia's grace and power is infused in it. But, what we'll have to do, is to mash the petals in a bowl and apply the resulting mash to the bruises." After some thought, she added, "My father once tried planting them in the Forest of Knives, since there are very little to none of them in there. It, well, unfortunately didn't go too well. Probably because of the harsher environment."

"Wick," the little living candle said, allowing his blue flame to flicker as he gestured to it for his fellow Ghost types to watch. He knew how stellar his little show was; the Sableye were evidently captivated. The Dark-Ice type looked around leisurely, seemingly lax, but in truth she was eyeing everything warily-- not because the attractions frightened her, but being pranked wasn't her idea of fun. Achlyx stuck close to Raiza, riding on her shoulder. If you'd suggest the Poison-Bug type being afraid, she would attack you viciously and without hesitation. Her natural resistance to the ill-reputed types would not come until evolution many levels later, after all, but the Skorupi did already have a vile temper. Toothless, on the other hand, was curious about the strange Pokemon and crept over to one of the Sableye to sniff them.

"Fascinating," Raiza said, breathlessly. "Evan did a great job on this house, pon. Hey, do you guys want to come out and play?" she said, inviting the Sableye out. So he was being observed? Well, why_not give them a show? The Ghost-Fire type smirked and began giggling madly, remembering Slade's advice from the bus and echoing the eerie laughter when he battled that Dratini before. Flames grew brighter, making shadows dance on the walls... He'd show the Sableye his power and talent.

"We're looking for... Ah, here we go." Gesturing for the two to bend down with her, her fingers brushed the small white petals of a flower blooming on the ground. "These little flowers are named in honor the beauty of the Wind Goddess Aelia. There's... If I recall correctly, there's a certain lore about them, about how the deity herself blessed these blossoms for them to scatter all over Graterras... But I don't remember it now." Straightening up after plucking some of the flowers, she continued, "They'll help with bruises and whatnot. And I think that we can find some nuts on that tree there."

While none of the three were paying attention, Raiza snuck off with her Pokemon, inwardly dejected but meh, nobody really had to know, not even Lana. It was just a hunch of hers, but her friend seemed attached to the guy... Unfortunately, she gone goof'd and already made a bad impression on him. Making up for it by playing along and even patronizing his wares hadn't really alleviated the situation, so, lest she embarrass herself and possibly her friend, the girl stalked off. Sipping her hot chocolate as she walked, she almost missed Lucifer whizzing off on his own again, until Toothless cried out to catch her attention. "Hey-- wait, where are you guys running off to--?" she cried, following the Litwick and the Deino to... a Haunted House? No wonder Lucifer wanted to visit. "So, you guys up for a scare, pon?" she asked, to be replies by a series of brave (and cool) cries from her Pokemon. "All right, but let's look for the booth, just to make sure if we've got to pay to enter first, pon."

"Let's hope that they aren't all nasty," remarked the ranger. Those beams of light seemed powerful, completely different... Evidently these "Steam Casters" were new, not having been recorded yet in any lore or any book of any kind that she'd read.

"Thank you, pon," Raiza said, accepting the chocolate, blowing it before gingerly dipping her tongue in (behind her hands, of course) to test the temperature. Danielle probably wouldn't know how grateful she was for the drink that did much to help calm her nerves, momentarily forgetting about Mareek's spite and easing her fears. Eagerly, Lucifer slurped his share down quickly and easily-- it was sweet and delightfully warm! The Ghost-Fire type gave a "Wick, wick" of gratitude, unaware of the chocolate mustache that gathered on his lip. The Deino drank his cup easily-- and literally. Likewise, he rasped his thanks... unaware that he'd eaten the paper cup. And then there were they who didn't appreciate the heat too much: Rogue blew the sweet liquid with a bit of Icy Wind before having slow sips, looking at Danielle with approval. Where was the Murkrow-- Avis, that is? Shrugging, the Sneasel moved to blow the Skorupi's cup cool. Sure, Achlyx was from the desert... But having something cold would be a nice change.

HI DAAAAAAN -
Oh. Sarcasm. She could hear it practically dripping in his voice and it practically snapped at her from his gaze, though the customers probably wouldn't have noticed since it wasn't directed at them. "Yeah, they're pretty sturdy, aren't they, pon?" she said with a smile, deciding to play along and that she might as well, to make up for it. "And-- oh hey, this is actually really detailed..." she said, sincerely, only catching just now the beauty of the little statue. It was definitely something she could appreciate as an avid artist. "... In fact, how much for this one?" The girl gestured at the Giratina sculpture, particularly because it was her favorite Legendary out of them all. The Sneasel on the other hand crossed her arms before looking away from the obviously miffed stallowner. They apologized and caught the stuff they dropped before they could hit the floor (well, most of them, anyway, the Dark-Ice type figured.). What kind of cheek was that, claiming sturdiness when... oh, whatever. Rogue was an Ice type; it wasn't really in her nature to keep hotheaded for long. But she could be as cold as she wanted for as long as she wanted. ... Just like how Raiza froze when Lana mentioned her parents. "They're... uhm, they're not here yet," she said, trying to hide her discomfort as much as possible, with enough success that nobody but her friend would've noticed, as she shrugged. "I haven't received a message or a call."
