  1. Shedinja for S or A+ Tier Why? Shedinja naturally walls around 90% of the leaders teams which are in game after Nincada is available. I found myself when I was unable to beat the doubles battle with Venam and Saki, I used a Shedinja. Aside from Drapion neither of them were able to even come CLOSE to touching it. Of course there's the downside of getting hit by status but that doesn't seem to be a very common thing in Rejuvenation. Move set: Double Team, Dig, Phantom Force/Shadow Sneak/Shadow Ball, Metal Claw/Confuse Ray This set revolves around PP stalling your opponents which can't touch it, in the correct circumstances such as against the Water Leader Valarie, this Shedinja acts as an automatic win condition and with Phantom Force/Dig it can dish out very respectable damage whilst accumulating maximum wasteage of PP from your opponent. In short, this Pokemon can automatically win against opponents leaders when specific threats are taken out and in different circumstances doesn't even need threats to be taken out for it. Furthermore, with Double Team you can set up on a Pokemon that can't touch you and then perhaps take out another Pokemon further in the team that normally could OHKO you. Metal Claw is used as a move which can boost your attack, since Shedinja will be alive for long periods of time it's easy to spam this move for an attack boost since Swords Dance currently isn't in game. (If swords dance is implemented, swap this for Swords Dance.) Confuse Ray is also a viable move so you can get some residual damage if your opponent hits themselves, if Will o Wisp is implemented as TM, replace this for Will O Wisp. tl;dr Shedinja can wall entire teams with no effort when used correctly, personally I think it should be taken out of the game for being too good.
  2. Game's too big to be compressed into a rom I reckon, I mean most roms are about a few megabytes big, and the Reborn folder (Unique Music and all) is about 500 Megabytes. You'd essentially have to recreate the entire game (If even possible) onto a current game like Emerald or something. I don't know if you can even Hack Gen 4 games to the extent you can with Gen 3 and on top of that add the unique art and music Reborn has. So to answer your question, it won't and probably never will be usable on an Emulator such as VisualBoyAdvance or Desmume. Looks like there'll be no Action Replay cheats for you friend~

    puzzle help

I pretty much suffered from the exact same problem as you. But yeah, the picture just has the wrong orientation. The correct version is totally not in the Graphics folder of the game, no siree
  4. Literally Episode 8 Serra. Oh my lord she was hard, having 3 Pokemon on my team Weak to Ice, and getting Blizzard Spammed was absolutely horrendous. Not to mention Brightpowder+Snow Cloak would make my Scrafty's High Jump Kick's miss more often than not. Had to raise a Drought Ninetales, Foretress and Magcargo to beat her, so bloody difficult, no other leader has come close to how hard she is. Except maybe Charlotte since that Eruption was reaching 337.5 Base Power with Field Boosts and Sun (Ignoring Typhlosion's Blaze which activates too)
  5. Wow, these look awesome! It'd be heaps cool if perhaps they were somehow implemented into the game as alternate costumes or something if possible, like for the Winter attire. Do you think you'll be doing any more for surfing?
  6. In X&Y I use AV Guts Hariyama, so if I get burnt I get a supercharged Close Combat/Knock off. It's pretty amazing, I suggest you try the same EDIT: Not many of Makuhita/Hariyama's non Elemental Punch moves even get a Sheer force boost, so it's a pretty redundant ability for it imo
  7. I found two awesome references: First one: Borderlands Outside the Appophyl Academy grounds where you first meet Kiki, there's a girl called "Battle girl Tina" who directly references the character "Tiny Tina" from Borderlands. Second one: Avatar the last airbender In Charlotte's gym there is a character called "Elder Iroh" who references the song Iroh sings in Avatar "Brave soldier boy" (I think that's the name anyway, the one Iroh sings whilst mourning his Son)
  8. Ditch Hail on Vanilluxe, hurts your entire team other than Esca and Vanilluxe I also imagine bulky Ghosts will give you a massive problem, stuff like (Yes don't kill me this stuff actually exists) Calm Mind Chandelure and Nasty Plot/WoW Cofagrigus. On the Subject of Calm Mind Chandelure, consider one for yourself, imo it's a better fire type than Houndoom that is if you have access to the Episode where Radomus gives Calm Mind as a TM instead of Trick room (Ep 11?) By using Chandelure, you keep the fire type and get the addition of a nice Ghost type other than Mismagius. I know that Calm Mind Chande is no where near good in competitive, but this ain't competitive and it has destroyed me a few times at like 95 wins in the Battle Maison on X&Y. And if Bulky Water types are your thing, consider Swampert since he has a decent Physical and very good Special move pool as of Ep 13 in Reborn. I use a mixed Swampert, and it's pretty awesome
  9. Yeah, it's just a retextured shiny. Other cool ones include Arbok, and I think I saw a different looking Vivillon when I poked around in the files.
  10. I doubt we'd ever get to catch the Pulse Pokemon, since they'd be pretty overpowered for the game itself. Not to mention Cain mentions how much pain the Pokemon are in when they're hooked up to the PULSE machines, so it'd be kinda wrong to use them. I probably would anyway.
  11. The legendary idea seems feasible, but the one in the Wasteland's got me thrown off. The post about maybe Shaymin being in there unable to do its job, probably seems the most likely senario. There's also the off chance that the Legendary idea could be completely wrong, and someone needs to unlock all these doors using the 4 Keys to obtain what's behind these doors. My guess, is that behind the doors might be fragments of something that when pieced together form something that can like Summon Arceus or some other really strong creation Pokemon like Dialga/Palkia/Giratina.
  12. Hiya, welcome to the forums~ I'm sure you'll fit in fine around here, though I too am relatively new to the forums myself.
  13. Oh Deer, what a predicament we find ourselves in. No? Okay I'll leave.
  14. If you really want Kiki defeated and have the patience, perhaps consider catching and training a Zubat into a Crobat. At the same level as Kiki's team, it'll OHKO most of her team with Acrobatics and outspeed too, not giving her a chance to use any Hyper Potions to heal up. Worked for me anyways, but my teams are usually strong against Fighting since I'm usually running a Psychic type and a Flying type.
  15. After my ordeal with Serra, I don't think I could ever go back to Pre Episode 11, I lost so much to that damned Evasion hail team ;_;

    Farfetch'd

It's a reference to Twitch Plays Pokemon; located in Seventh Street, I won't spoil anything for you~

    Awesome, thank you both

    Farfetch'd

Hiya, so I'm looking for Farfetch'd to help me along in the TPP Easter egg. If one of you awesome people could let me know where to find it, that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance
  19. Depends on a situation you chose before if I'm not wrong. But as someone else mentioned, it doesn't matter.
  20. Personally, I'd choose Froakie. Protean abuse is always great fun and you can change types depending on what move's about to hit you so that's always good fun too. If not, I'd choose Mudkip, he may not get Waterfall without the HM but in my opinion he's better than a Scald-less Empoleon.
  21. This Thread accurately sums up how I felt about Serra in Episode 8. God damn, I lost about 20 times to her and that damn Gen 5 Evasion Hail Team...
  22. My Bulk up+Speed Boost Blaziken made short work of Luna, swept her 6-0 with no problems other than hitting itself once after Priority Confuse Ray. I was just happy there was no Mandibuzz, that thing scares me...
  23. I think that a reference to Breaking Bad would fit in sooo well in 7th Street, I mean it's almost perfect for it! Maybe a Side Quest which you traffic Rare Candy or Shard dust, that'd be so cool. Also, maybe a Pokemon Surgeon who can edit IV's for like 2 Heart Scales or something, it seems like the perfect area since you've already got the Psychologist.
  24. I like your team, it's really diverse and different. Here's a few thing's that you may want to consider for the purposes of team building. I love Crobat as a Pokemon, though Choice Band is really good for hitting hard, you can free yourself from Choice Lock ins and get almost as much power if you take off the band and use an orb whilst getting rid of maybe Pursuit or Cross Poison for Roost. Another thing that caught my eye was Meloetta, Meloetta is a good Pokemon too, but the thing is that it's best used when it's abusing Relic Song to change its typing up to tank Super effective hits. A different set that may help you would be one using Relic Song, Psychic, Thunderbolt and Close Combat with 252 Spatk 252 HP 4 Atk Quiet Nature, but this is more of a bulky set rather than speed which seems is what you want. You also may want to keep Meloetta away from Knock off. With Mandibuzz, since you have 2 Dark moves and no Toxic, I'm thinking that you should get rid of one for either Brave Bird or Toxic since your Mandibuzz is walled by Bulky Fighting types like Conkeldurr. One last quick suggestion though, for Whimsicott perhaps consider using Stun Spore over protect, since that's really good for crippling Pokemon that rely on their speed to cut through other Pokemon. Other than that, I'd say to what out for Pokemon like Infiltrator Chandelure and Infiltrator Crobat which may cause lots of trouble for you and your Substitute users. I hope this helps~
  25. With Politoed, Scald or Surf might help you a bit more. Scald's got a higher chance to inflict its relative status and has a higher base Power. Hydro Pump (While inaccurate) will put a lot of Pokemon down in one shot when it's raining. If you're doing a doubles battle, Perish song would be that much better just to force the entire game out to switch, not to mention if there's a Pokemon you can't hit they have to switch or risk dying. Your Noivern sounds good in theory, but in practicality Noivern is actually really frail so it's not gonna be able to use that Starf Berry. I've always found Choice Specs/Scarf to be really helpful, or if you're not a fan of Choice Items, Life Orb works really well on it as well. Swampert sounds good, but your Sludge Wave's not gonna be hitting too hard since you're Jolly but if it's coming through for you I guess you can keep using it, although Sash/Mirror Coat is a really good gimmick which will KO a special attacking opponent with a grass move. If you don't wanna run Mirror Coat, I suggest Curse since that sets up your Defense and Attack in one go. And it's no big loss to Swampert to lose speed, but Curse may not work too well for your Swampert seeing as how it's a Jolly Nature. I hope this helps
