I'm interested.. but have absolutely no idea about RP's.. so id appreciate if someone could help me out... would like to play as a dragon..
Name: Tydormu
Species: Bronze-??? Hybrid (possibly silver), lightening breath.
Age: Youngish Adult
Ancestry: Unknown father, and a bronze mother who was killed when he was a wyrmling..
Appearance: he is a 7 foot high, a dark bronze shaded dragon with green tipped wings.. he has a regular dragon body with 4 feet and very long leathery wings suggesting a parentage from either a gold or silver dragon.. his body is stocky and muscular flecked with scratch marks and scars all around.. one of the wings has a scar on it running from the tip towards the tail.. the tail itself has many horns as well as 2 horns on its head instead of the regular 3.. he has a light green almost white iris which gives the perception that he is blind.. this however is not the case and allows him to trick and fool opponents.. He has sharp claws that are metallic in colour similiar to that of platinum.. his feet are webbed and allow him to swim really fast..
Backstory: Not much of his past is known as his father is unknown. His mother raised him all by herself and protected him for the first few years of his life. They lived in a small coastal cave near a shipping route and port town. While not much of his early years are known as he was over protected by his mother, possibly to compensate for his fathers absence, he does remember stories about his mothers quests in and around their lair. Her death involves murder and it is unknown by whom. This resulted in Tydormu having to care for himself from an early age. It also corrupted his sense of honour as his mother could not impart her ideals to him. Thus Tydormu is an atypical bronze dragon living as a tyrannical loner abandoning the justice that they usually idealize.
He is called Nautilus the Sword of the Sea by sailors as he swims fast and prefers attacking mercantile vessels from underneath. His reign of terror lasted for a few hundred years. The older he grew the more violent and ill-tempered. He would demand tribute from the humanoids in his territory in ever increasing amounts. Finally it came to a point that the townspeople near his coastal home were on the verge of ruin. This and a single family whose child had been killed by him due to their inability to pay tribute caused a need for them to abandon fear and fight back. Having underestimated his subjects he became complacent in protecting his lair. This resulted in the villagers sneaking in and attacking him when he least expected it. During this struggle he overheard a shout by a dying man to leave like his father and let them live in peace.
In this fight he severely injures his wing and needs to flee. His curiosity ignited by the comment, Tydormu decides to find his father. However his journey seems to be ending short as the injury to his wing doesn't allow him to fly very far. After a day of flying he succumbs to exhaustion and pain and crashes in the middle of a vast and empty plain. Upon waking he sees an old man tending to his wounds. Having been saved by him, he befriends the hermit. He explains the purpose of his journey to the hermit, who agrees to help him. Before that he asks Tydormu to regain his strength. During this time both of them form a bond. His sense of duty starts to return to him and he starts treating the hermit with respect. He decides to protect the old man at all costs while learning more about dragons and the world from the wise man. Soon the time for them to leave comes.
