  1. Yeah, like Chubb said, link to E12 near the bottom of the guide. Make sure to read the 2 paragraphs below the link, they're general instructions on going back. You might find those handy cause reverting can be...finnicky at times.
  2. Worst: -Had my insomnia's frequency cranked up by 11. -New family issues (though only the topic is new). -Had to do the majority of my first year of computer science with a busted laptop. -Had to repeat my first year of computer science. -Had an infection close to the kidney that made almost a month go to waste. Best: -Am starting to actually be semi-frequent on the Reborn server. Still not there too too often, but that's still better than my old frequency of "never". -Got to get somewhat closer to a good number of people here. -After playing the game for god knows how long, found someone to play Risk of Rain multiplayer with (now just gotta get to it). Yeap, only good things that happened happened in December. Here's to you, 2016! Don't worry too much about being a good year, your predecessor didn't set the bar too high. Still, please do try.
  3. If it's about the in-game sprite, you can just swap the files in the image folder around, but there's a bunch of them and you'd have to do so every episode. You could also upload your save and someone with RPGMaker can permanently change your character. Or if you wanna change to one of the black/non-binary characters, the episodes those were introduced in let people change their character, those new characters were put as NPCs in the Grand Hall and you could change into them by talking to them. Look through the Mews and Annoucement section and check the episode release topics to see which you'd need to download. The links in the topics likely lead to E15, but you oughta be able to find a download link with the search feature or Google.
  4. Actually, you can get the Vulpix in Agate in the current release, E15, beat the first gym, then load up E12 and go back to the city. You'll find details on how to go back in the Team Showcase section's pinned breeding guide. Along with how to use CE to get and hatch like 10 eggs a minute, if you need that.
  5. By the way, the Huge Power boost doesn't show on the stat screen, it'll still say you have 130. The ability does work in Reborn, that's just how it works.
  6. Alrighty. Your game, your call. Yes, because unboosted Wring Out is not that great, but you can just kill something with Leaf Storm to get a boost or two, then as the next thing switches in, it'll have full health. HP Ground or Fire would be ideal (you can check the breeding guide to see how IVs are passed down), but Fighting should also work. Or if you're not using Wring Out, HP Rock is a super-effective hit on everything Grass is weak to (except for Poison). Though neutral Wring Out is as strong as an SE Hidden Power, so probs best to go for one SE vs Steel. I guess? You've got a really bulky set, so you don't mind getting hit, so Static alone should be enough. And do you really need the paras? I mean, they let Ampharos outspeed things, but again, it's a bulky thing, you don't care about getting outsped and taking a hit. I'd run CB, but whatever floats your boat. ....and that's why I shouldn't be posting at 3 AM, completely forgot that Tauros is male-only. So yeah, no breeding. Sorry. Thaaaat limits your options to Secret Power, Zen Headbutt, an Iron Tail tutor and the 2 Rock Tomb and Bulldoze TMs later. So that's....something. So maybe Slaking after all, though Truant is real bad. If you want some other Normal type options, there's Snorlax around the 13th gym, Ursaring (Toxic Orb for Guts available later), Lickilicky (and it's godly coverage) (available around the 10th gym), Porygon-Z (i dunno where the items are, but they're in the game iirc), Cincinno, Swellow (also Guts), Staraptor, Heliolisk, Diggersby and Bouffalant (figures that only the bull's clone can be bred it has that Reckless Head Charge, Megahorn and from breeding, Earthquake, Rock Slide/Stone Edge, Wild Charge, Poison Jab, Iron Head and Payback. It also gets Sap Sipper to go with your Anticipation Whiscash).
  7. I don't really know about Sub cause, the more we progress, the fewer non-attacking moves the foes carry, so I don't see you getting up a sub too easily later on. For moves, I'd really recommend maybe breeding it with Ditto for a better Hidden Power, cause that's literally the only move it has that is at least Neutral in Steel. You can just get to +6 and try to power through them, but a good Hidden Power would realy be handy. Another move I'd recommend for it is Wring Out, handy coverage for all the things that resist Grass (except for steel). That's...creative. Good thinking! Air Balloons are a bit pointless since it's slow so it WILL be taking hits, but not like we have anything else for it (unless you like mined up a Zap Plate). But as you said, that's a set that just doesn't do much offensively(unless you swap Discharge for Charge Beam, but even then). I guess you could try 4 attacks Ampharos, Heliolisk or, if you like all the setting up, there's Cosmic Power/Stored Power/Minimize/Charge Beam Clefable. Nit only is Serp your only team member quick enough for Sticky Web to make a difference...Masqerain is just bad. If you want a Quiver Dancer, Vivillon and Venomoth do the job way better. But all 3 either outspeed and get the set up going or they die helplessly, so I'd consider replacing it. If it's a Bug type you want, both Durant and Escavalier should be available to you by now. Or do you want ne to come up with some other Bug or Flying type replacements for this thing? I like the sun pebble, but it's just bad. If you want CP strats, take that Clefable (which reminds me that sigilyph can do the same, without minimize but with STAB on Stored Power). Wabt me to come up with some Psychic or Rock types it replace it? We can't teach it Dragin Dance yet, so I wouldn't use it yet. It's decent, but you can get better than decent. Want suggestions? Tauros. Sheer Force. You can even get a Life Orb soon (use the search feature to see where) and that gives no recoil on SF moves and the boosts stack. For a good Sheer Force STAB, you have a Secret Power TM in the Wasteland (though spamming Thrash mostly works). And if you go back to E12 to breed (see the pinned breeding guide in this section), you can get Tauros Earthquake, Rock Slide/Stone Edge and Wild Charge. Zen Headbutt is worth keeping as it's an SF move.
  8. It's not just a "how breeding works" thing, but how it works for Reborn. And either way, the guide exists and the latest replies are really frequent, people would be almost guaranteed to post there if something in the guide was wrong. So if it says stuff works, it's pretty safe to assume it does. And the guide itself is rather recent.
  9. How 2 mess with Ark: The beginner's guide.
  10. There's a pinned breeding guide in the Team Showcase section, that should answer all your questions regarding breeding (if not, feel free to PM me).
  11. That is just the other Lapis-7th passage. There's 2 passages total, which one you gain access to depends on what gang you sided with.
  12. Card's fine, but changing a move, Grass Knot instead of Hidden Power Ice on Heliolisk. Sending the 100 to Gallade now.
  13. I really don't think any particular fight from Reborn should be That One Boss. Because really, it all depends on what your team is and how you use it. Some could be stuck on Noel for a month while others beat him on their first try. I'll agree with Tomas in that it could be put in the YMMV page, but otherwise, no. And ICSW is right, the Garchomp and Arceus fights should be Hopeless Boss Fights instead, since the game lets you progress without losing.
  14. Screw consoles, gimme a non-trash PC.
  15. All the breeding stuff was covered, so I'll just go ahead and point out that the CE stuff from this section's breeding guide can let you get and hatch 5 eggs every 30 seconds or so.
  16. Aerial Ace is one of those TMs that a lot of things get, so chances are you could go back to E12 and breed it onto whatever. Read the pinned breeding guide in the Team Showcase section and feel free to PM me if that doesn't answer all your questions.
  17. Soooooo, um, my last thing wasn't really replied to. And also, is there any place where we can see keyboars shortcuts for writing posts? Like Ctrl+L for links, B/I/U for bold/italic/underline, etc.
  18. This is the internet, I can be any name I want to be :C Don't really like how it looks tbh.
  19. Mediocre eLemono goooo No shinies, Soul Silver theme, Showdown sprite(sent the 200): EDIT: Actually, sorry, make Stunfisk shiny.
  20. Oh, you can literally just google "thunderbolt move" (or any move) and the first page will be the bulbapedia page that lists who gets it via level-up, breeding, tm or event.
  21. The actual order doesn't matter, you can get DB first or NP first. Anyways, lets say you want to breed NP first, what you need to do is breed a female Misdreavus and a male Spiritomb that knows Nasty Plot. You'll get eggs for Misdreavus that know NP. You then need to breed a female Misdreavus that knows NP and a male Yamask/Koffing that knows Destiny Bond. Byyyyyy the way, check the pinned topics in this section, we have a breeding guide there that should answer most questions like these (if something isn't covered, feel free to PM me :] )
  22. Happy birthday, person I...never properly talked to till yesterday Man, I've been missing out
  23. 60 hours? I think? Maybe more. It was due to Insomnia and I really didn't care about how long I was awake.
  24. You say you're aspiring to do something in game design. Where's that aspiration coming from? Most people I know that chose that path chose it because they enjoy gaming in general, but there's that one company whose games really sealed the deal. Is there any such company for you, or any you'd love to work for more than any other? Also why the hell does no one on Showdown play Hackmons Cup.
