      tbh even old Talonflame would probably be fine at this point, though I'm guessing he won't even be that late in E17.

      Talonflame never should've been this late, even before Gale Wings got nerfed. It's strong as heck after it gets any moves but before that it is absolute garbage.

    I might restart my bird-themed run once gen VII content gets implemented and I get to have a Decidueye on my team. Because, Decidueye, man. You literally cannot go wrong with birbs and ghosts. I love both those things!

      Oh oh, and Toucannon, too. Because it's literally an angry toucan that burns you with its beak.

       

      Gen VII has some great pokes.

    Well that was a long hiatus, but I'm back and recharged and ready for more pokerminz. I take it the new Sandbox mod has made the Request-a-Mon thread obsolete? Cuz I might just scrap my canine-themed run and start a new one, based on the object-themed Pokemon that everyone hates.

      Sounds interesting. Trubbish, Klink and Vanillite would be some good ones from the start of the game, and if you wanted something strong as an "Ace" to start with that could be a good excuse to use honedge.

      Thanks! I'm totally down for using Vanilluxe. It's one of the prime examples people go to as proof that Game Freak is running out of design ideas, but it's an awesome Ice-type. I might not use Honedge for this run, actually. I'm already using one (illegally) for my Ghost monotype, and I think people actually like Honedge -- there are worse objects to look like than swords.

       

      I'm just determined to make Garbodor a competent battler.

    I'd thought that ep 16 would mostly be a sidequest-y update with far less hate and pain than I'm used to in Reborn. How foolish I was. This dungeon is murder.

    How specifically are you having trouble? Besides Blaziken, your team seems like it should be okay, but I'll see what I can do anyway. Psychic-types in general tend to have high special defense but low physical defense, so moves like Mamoswine's Earthquake and Crawdaunt's Crab Hammer should do good damage, especially after Swords Dance. Gallade with Close Combat should be KO'd ASAP. I suggest leading with Drapion and Eelektross and having them both gang up on Gallade with Crunch. Eelektross can use Thunder Wave then afterwards support Drapion in attacking. It's also possible to lead with Garde

    I'm so used to Reborn's early-game poverty that when S&M hands me things like Ultra Potions and 10,000 money rewards, I feel like I'm being mocked.

    At first I thought that all this attention given to Aegislash meant we would finally be getting an Aegislash for ourselves. Then I found it suspicious that Ame would seemingly be so generous, and then I read further and realized we'll most likely be on the receiving end of that Aegislash. Now I am sad and afraid.

    Go get that Kricketot from the apartment in Peridot, evolve it, and wreck Florinia with Fury Cutter. Seriously, Kricketune is, like, custom-built to take down Florinia, and it's a decent battler in general until around Shelly. If you'd rather use the mons you already have, Litleo could probably pull a lot of the weight while Pancham (after some leveling) could handle Cradily. Poison stalling with Stunky and/or Arbok is also an option, but just beware that Breloom heals poison damage and Ferrothorn is obviously immune to it.

    I usually go for the 'fight fire with fire' strategy with Charlotte, so Blaziken can be your MVP here, especially if it has Speed Boost (Charlotte's team is insanely fast, which is why it's popular to use Trick Room against her). For Blaziken, I'd say scrap Brave Bird for Flare Blitz, let the field turn into a Burning Field, and have Blaziken sweep everyone with its Fire attacks. Give it with a Charcoal or Flame Plate and set up a Bulk Up or two, and you could probably OHKO most of her team. All Blaziken would need is a proper meat shield to keep it healthy so it can do its job safely. A good

    Is it possible to embed videos into a post? I don't mean linking to a Youtube video, I mean putting in a video file from your own computer that others can view.

      you need some sort of site to store and share it. Best bet is just uploading it to youtube, there's an opton to hide it from random searches if you don't want it public, and then linking it to a post

    Yeah, I kinda suspected it was too early to see anything in Labradorra, since reborn Reborn seems to be the main focus and we haven't addressed Agate yet. It was just a thought because I don't know how much content ep 16 will cover. And even if by chance we do get to Labradorra around then, that wouldn't necessarily mean we'd fight Saphira immediately, which I'd be thankful for. She looks terrifying to fight.
