Well, that just means Poppy was strong more recently tho, no? Not that I particularly disagree, he does seem like an odd choice. But I did think he was pretty relevant for most of the spring so shouldn't he at least match up to champs that were relevant for most of summer?

Well, TBP isn't much of a universe. The lore to it is fairly shallow and amounts to a collection of cutscenes which tell a fairly simple story. I'm creating an equally bare-bones port of the universe to switch over from platformer to RP. The focus will mostly be on the events transpiring within the dreams, rather than on looking into the world as a whole There's a plot summary on wikipedia that covers the story. And TVTropes pretty well covers everything else -

Really this is more of an announcement than an actual interest check, but it will happen faster if more people care So what's this about? Well, (heavily) inspired by my current obsession They Bleed Pixels, I have concocted a system of horrors for you to journey through Each character shall have three common aspects: They shall all be schoolgirls. They shall all possess a strange book. And they shall all fall into the same nightmare. Within these nightmares the girls become twisted versions of themselves, mutilated into strange monsters. To survive falling prey to the nightmares, they must kill creatures sent from blackness in a desperate attempt to survive until morning. Death is guaranteed, and the only way to overcome it is to further give in to the powers of the beyond There's going to be some mechanics to this, but they'll generally be behind-the-scenes. the only time you'll see them is if you're about to perma-die. And they'll largely be based upon writing anyways. Oh, and I'm probably going for a small cast, no more than six players. I want to focus on writing well rather than writing a lot Here's the character sheet if you're interested. PM these to me if you finish before the OOC shows up, don't post them in the thread

Yeah, no, I'm not just going to throw myself at the wiki and hope it means something to me ~~~ If you're not going to take the time to explain the bare minimum of information, you can't expect anyone to take the time to play If you're going to provide wiki links as your only source of information, at the very least you need to link to the specific parts that will be helpful in understanding the roleplay. For example, you mentioned hollows (whatever those are), you could link to the wiki page that talks about them. Right now you may as well be saying, "Go watch the movie." As a general thing: Whenever someone asks you a question in the thread, you should expand upon the missing information in the interest check's original post in addition to answering them in the thread, that way you won't get repeat questions

Hihi, am Lexi, I like to make with the advices when I see interest checks. Feel free to ignore me So first off, you should edit the title so it actually has some indication of what this is an interest check for You really need to add more details somehow, you can't just say, "I saw this movie would anyone like an RP based on it." It's alright if you haven't sorted out the plot or even the mechanics of the RP, but you should at least write up some sort of explanation of what the movie is about so that people who haven't seen it can get a basic understanding. In fact even if people have seen it, it helps a lot if you explain it anyways, since the parts that you pick up on and find interesting may be different from what others take interest in--creating a dissonance in the player's expectations and your intentionsI full I fully understand if you don't want to put in the work to design the plot or setting before you know if people care, but right now it's a hassle to pick up on even the basic concept that you want to build off of ~~~ Speaking for my own personal interest, I may consider it in the future, but right now I have a less than zero idea of what you want this RP to be about so I can't state my opinion on whether or not I would join

The Diviner directed, pointing to a collection of terminals by the extraction table. The mention of his designs caused him to look up. "You've heard of Aquarius and Pisces? They're historical terms so I doubt you learned from their origins. You're a mechanic yourself, yes? I suppose it's not unreasonable for you to have heard the rumors of artificial mech creation, although I thought I had kept these two concealed. Pisces and Aquarius are incomplete, unreleased I don't even have receptacles for them yet. I can tell you more after I get your modifications started. Since you're such a powerful pilot you're bound to find out anyways, I may as well brag while I have the chance." -

Why are shower scenes so looked down upon? I do most of my self-contemplation in the shower. It seems to me like a very effective way to slip in some fanservice without being painfully unrealistic

Well, I suppose there's different levels of it. But I recently saw someone complaining about fanservice cite a shower scene that didn't even show below the neck and had lots of thinking involved
And I feel like it's become "shower scenes" as a whole are pure evil. Most that I encounter are equally thinking and fanservicy and I'm okay with that balance

Well it certianly is but I don't think it's that erigious. SOme think that literally anything thing with even slight nudity = it has to be fan service/sexual in nautre when uh... no. I don't get why people get so crazy about it honestly. It's like a natural thing we do and the human form is natural itself XD. ((I don't find jsut nudity to be weird or even arousing really, since like... it's just natural lol.))
