  1. I'm fine w/ it as long as it's slow & painful and I get to watch. None of that quick and clean shit that KiKi got.
  2. For KiKi, I'd suggest Granbull too. Not only does Granbull wall it type wise, it also gets Intimidate and Charm, and Medicham knows Thunderpunch for Pokemon like Azumarill.
  3. Assuming Amaria is as strong as I think she is, we won't be battling her for a good minute.
  4. There aren't enough swear words to properly convey my hatred for Fern.
  5. Paraphrased: Cain: Uh... what are you doing? Terra: ur mom lol Cain: *Player Character*, please tell me I'm not this bad... Any character that can manage to make Cain flustered gets bonus points in my book. Radomus is smart and cunning enough to get under anyone's skin, and Terra just doesn't give a fuck. Gameplay-wise, my favorite moment was the battle against Ditto-Arceus, only because of how anticlimactic it ended up being.
  6. That was before 13.1. Now, Samson's badge allows us to use Surf and raises the cap to 75 while Charlotte's badge allows us to use dive.
  7. But... Rhydon's SpDef is booty juice though, that's not really all that great =/ E: Just read that the Rhydon was Shiny; my bad, that sucks =(
  8. My predictions ended up being so far off about this episode. After finishing it, there's so many possibilities that have been opened up that I think the next two episodes could be nothing but backtracking and we'd still be satisfied. Our HM hunting quest of plot advancement continues. We need Waterfall to find Titania and Amaria, we probably need dive to enter Ametrine (in addition to exploration purposes), we want Rock Climb for exploration purposes, and we want Fly so our feet stop hurting (walking from Calcenon to Beryl makes me QQ something fierce)Speaking of the Celestinine Cascade, that drop is ridiculously huge. Dropping from there should be lethal since Corey didn't survive the Beryl Bridge drop, and the CCascade drop is even larger than that. Even if it's into water, lethal is lethal; I wonder how Titania and Amaria survive (assuming that they do). In addition, I'm sure there will be some kind of explorable cave at the bottom of the CCascade; possibly in the same area as the cave under the Grand Stairway (we seem to keep going back to that cave)I don't think we'll be entering Labradorra in the next couple of episodes, at least not the next one anyway. Victory Road is supposedly connected to it, and we've still got another 7 badges before we challenge the E4. Saphiria may be deflecting PULSE Aura Spheres for a while. I think we're going to Ametrine next; how we get into the city is another issue entirely (diving under one of the underwater locations in Ametrine Mountain maybe? It fits into the HMs = Plot Advancement theme)We still need to fix the sleepy spell in Agate CityIn addition to that, when are we going to get into Tourmaline Desert, and how would it apply to the story? I'm completely blank on this one, but I have liked the PULSE TTar/Hippowdon ideas that were floating around here a while back, but I can't figure out how it would fit into the story though.WDFA FDNFPrediction tl;dr: We don't see Titania and Amaria for a while, we don't get into Labradorra, next few episodes are based in Ametrine City and Agate Town, what's up w/ the desert, fuck that dude Fern he a bitch
  9. Well Fern stated explicitly that he's taking the League challenge too. In addition, he has Rival's Privilege TM , meaning that he'll always have more badges than we do. That said, Cain having backup gym leader privileges would also end up extending to Fern as well since he's Florinia's back up. It still doesn't explain Victoria though. Gameplay/Story Segregation is all I can come up with
  10. I think it's the same reason Cain's Pokemon and even other NPC trainer's Pokemon obey them despite going past the theoretical level cap: Gameplay/Story Segregation. The level cap only really matters to us because we're the ones playing the game; NPCs don't have to adhere to it because they're just NPCs. Unless you think that all of the trainers that we've seen through this point have the same number of badges like we do, it's just best to not think too hard about that aspect.
  11. I hope to God this isn't true. I wanna hate Fern with every fiber of my being; giving him legitimacy wouldn't prevent me from hating his punk ass, but it would make me look really petty for hating on someone with good motives but a shitty personality. Fern being a Meteor member would be completely in character; him being a double agent would give him character development that would make my soul burn slow
  12. Moxie Gyarados makes everything very easy though =P
  13. And I thought I was smart for a second =( HP Rock then?
  14. I see you Amethyst, giving all of Charlotte's Pokemon HP Electric to counter the people that still have Gyarados. Still got my badge though, and Flygon finally managed to be useful; glad I've got it now. I doubt the battle would be nearly as easy if I didn't have EV trained Pokes though
  15. Its usefulness after Rhodochrine Jungle takes a colossal nosedive, and unless you're feeling nostalgic about early game, there isn't really a reason to pull it back out the box except against Luna. It definitely destroys Florinia's entire team though; her Cradily's HP bar evaporated almost immediately.
  16. Here's the thing: it's not quick, at all. A lot of people here have been playing Reborn for a while now, and there's a lot of down time in-between episodes. People tend to fill this downtime with things like grinding, EV training, and moveset breeding, hence why so many people are able to have diversity on their bench. Reborn grinding isn't fast, we've just had a lot of time on our hands. That said, if you're looking for a place in particular to grind, go to the top of the Arceus Citatel, and train on the Unown
  17. This is the worst part about the puzzle: it's not hard when you understand what you need to do, but the game makes you suffer if you screw up.
  18. Blacksteam Factory comes to mind immediately
  19. *Insert Noel's Cinccino has Skill Link comment here*
  20. And yet players now have to pay money to get a Ducklett, when you can get at Tanzan Cove anyway... I really hate Ducklett
  21. Literally everything destroys Samson; just add Swanna to the already long list of Pokemon that have shit on his team. inb4samsonbuffkekekeke Don't worry about me, I've already gotten my Gyarados, never letting go of it either; I just feel for the newer players that don't know about the troll job they're gonna get hit with when they drop $1500 on a derpy ass duck that isn't worth a goddamn. Honestly, I wouldn't object to removing the event altogether, or at least pushing it back a few badges to give yourself a wider range of Pokemon to choose from.
