This is by far the least painful strategy (it also helps that Magnezone is also great to use on it's own). It doesn't depend on luck or soft resets; it's simply a straight up hard counter. Getting Magnezone is a little out of the way though, especially if you haven't been using a Magneton up to that point. I'd always suggest getting a Magnezone to put into your team's rotation though.

What I did: Get Kricketune Teach it Fury Cutter (lvl 10) Profit. It OHKOs everything after stacking two, and it's definitely faster than that Cradily, so Rock Slide won't be a problem

I don't fully trust him, but at this point (up through Ep 11) he hasn't blatantly screwed us over yet, so there's that. What I like about him is that he's aware of just how sketchy he is, and pokes fun at the player and Cain's skepticism despite actually being quite helpful so far. Basically, if he betrays us sometime in the future, I wouldn't be shocked; but if he doesn't, I still wouldn't be shocked.

Heather isn't much different that any of the main game protagonists (up through gen 4) when you think about it though. She's 10 just like all of them, and they're able to handle Pokemon like Salamence as well (depending on if you caught one in the game, but you get what I'm aiming at, right?).

She might be the reserve Psychic leader. I remember her saying something like "we're all gym leaders here", but she might have just been talking about Charlotte and Noel when she said that. Also, does Anna really count as 'newly introduced' though? I mean, you meet her right after Corey gets killed, and that was like forever ago lol.

That's true. I think it becomes a Rock Smash rock after you beat Fern, but I'm not complete certain. Regardless, you can get the key before you beat Radomus.

After defeating Noel and going towards Route 1. That's when Saphiria blows the hole in the mountain that leads to the Yureyu Key

Catch a Magnemite with Sturdy, evolve it into Magnezone, teach it Mirror Coat at the Move Relearner, laugh at Arceus-Ditto's pittiful Focus Blast. You could also try this strategy with a Focus Band (since we don't have Sashes) if you don't want to catch and train a new Magnemite, but it'll take more resets for the band to activate. Regardless, you should evolve that Magneton; you're able to after you beat Noel.

Honestly, if we can get Noibat early, getting Deino early shouldn't be that big of a deal (ditto for Larvesta too).

But Azumarill though...and you're gonna be swap training Kirlia until level 30; doesn't that make up for it a little? Besides, who would you sub out Gyarados for (if you pull a Gen VI and make it a Luvdisc, I wouldn't even be mad) Ah well, I got mines

The only thing that's even close to being OP is Gyarados, and even it can only take you so far before strategy needs to come into play. At this point, I don't see anything else being taken out because it's too good, at least not this late in the game. She might sub some Pokemon out and sub some others in, but that's more for Pokedex reasons. I just wish I had started playing before 10.5; missed out on Lucario, a sticker, AND Togekiss.

Music that best fit a theme? Chrysolia Forest/Tanzan Cove (Bright I think it's called). It's like a breath of fresh air after you and the children escape from the Yureyu Building and (for the time being) Team Meteor's clutches. The fact that I had to grind there to beat Noel wasn't too bad. Favorite track? The entrance to the Arceus temple (where you can fight the Unown), I've always been a fan of the Ice Path music
