I now can offer a treecko and two froakies I am willing to trade. Male treecko with IV's 19/16/31/31/31/31, timid, and pound/leer/leaf storm/dragonbreath. The froakies are less decorated. They're both male, and have growl/pound. One is a jolly torrent with IV's 31/19/15/25/23/22, the other a lonely protean with IV's 31/16/19/25/9/10. I'd prefer good fathers of egg groups I don't have, and starters that you can only get at the beginning are also desired (not froakie, torchic or treecko, I already have those). (It is possible that, soon, I'm not able to trade directly for a while due to a busy schedule.)

Be careful what you wish for, or maybe someone gives you a bunch of movie tie-ins and Ride to Hell: Retribution... I've played something around 50-60 games, I think. -
I think it depends from game to game. If you play Dora the explorer when you're in your twenties... Games can be for any audience, just like movies, books...name it. So no, writing off games in it's entirety as childish would be bollocks, and anyone who thinks so, knows little about them. For example: I wouldn't recommend 'spec ops: the line' to a 12-year old... P.S.: BTW, there's a recent video on YT from 'the game theorists' about SSB. Seems like SSBB's story is about something pretty similar.

It depends on whether you want a tank, a sweeper etc... If it's for a sweeper (that is not mentioned in this post), then Archeops and Crobat come to mind. Gengar doesn't get any poison-type move naturally (gen6 breeding mechanics), and except for maybe a futurestarmie/aegislash/metagross/bronzong... ghost/dark types won't have a lot of use. If you want a tank (outside those already mentioned)...maybe Avalugg (but you have avalanche, so...). I'm not good with tanks, so no thanks to me for that part. Besides that, Pachirisu is always fun if you want to annoy the crap out of opponents. Charm/Super fang/nuzzle/sweet kiss is pretty fun, and effective, if you give it the right treatment. P.S. Nice that a sceptile got in your primary party

I am very interested. I have fathers of field, fairy, monster and amorphous, so I'll happily accept fathers of other egg groups, particulary fathers part of two egg groups. I would have a treecko in exchange. However, if you want it to have leaf storm, dragonbreath, or pretty ok IV's, you'll have to wait until february, since I almost have no time to play atm.

Yes, the prize money then is awesome, but you tend to fail when you reach that level, or before it. And I eventually used a site to help, because getting 10000 coins is a chore. Simply put, I had a much better experience with the slot machines, since I gained 1000 coins every 1-2 minutes. I might have had a very good machine, so I might not be a good representation on that part, but voltorb flip can be enfuriating when you get kicked back to level 1 because you had to rely on luck.

Flobot and Amaria might be possible entries (referring to the diary's in the school). I'm not good at speculation, but it probably has to do with the jewelry, so Anna would be a possible contender, too, since she had the amethyst pendant (I I recall correctly). Still in the dark about the emerald brooch, I heard El had it or something like that?

@NezzieSeraphim Try to limit the amount of triple dots, it makes it quite a chore to read through. Comma's are feeling discriminated It's kinda hard to make a strong personal connection like you depict to the region since you're an immigrant. Maybe you want to play pokemon snakewood for that (and insanity and zombies). Anyway, if I were tthe developer, I might try to make the animations of the moves more varied and better looking (even if I'm the worst at drawing anything) to make it feel more rewarding to land the hit (I don't expect you to be able to make it look like dragon descent, that's just impossible). I know, with pokemon essentials regularly changing, this can be annoying, but it would be nice to see my pokemon moving if it smashes iot's head in the opponent's butt (headbutt), emerald-style. Also, I would take the idea of Showdown of still animating a move if it misses, but showing that it misses. And of course stage grasshole vs icehole That one goes deep... -
I agree with Nova. As someone who used voltorb flip to get a trapinch (took multiple ours), and slot machines to get all TMs (not even an hour), you're better off with a good slot machine. If the slot wheels are good (7's on the wheel close to each other), you can consistently get small and/or big bonuses. I sometimes even got 480 coins out of a well-timed single reel.

OK, about the treeckening... I'v bred 2 treecko's now: a docile male with unburden, and an adamant female with overgrow. They know dragonbreath, leaf storm, pound and HP (female = psychic, male = fire). Any difference IV- wise is that the adamant one has a lower SpA-IV. pm me asap if you want to trade, since I'll soon be busy for quite a while. I also learned the gastly's shadow ball, for the record. EDIT: the female treecko is traded away for a spiritomb. EDIT2: I have to rebreed for new treecko's, and I traded away one gastly. I won't be available for a while, so I'm probably not going to trade soon.

I can breed one after the trade is complete I primarily desire pokemon I can't get (like the starters) and good (mainly IV-wise) fathers. But shiny metagross looks pretty awesome in reborn (if that's what you meant, but I neither have spiritomb)... In the beginning of the thread you can find instructions around sending the file, etc...to the one that facilitates trading. Also, would you like some shadow ball on your gastly? (I've got the tm anyway, might as well learn him/her (which one you want, earlier in this thread) the move) EDIT OF PROGRESS: trade complete, now breeding...

Froakie sounds interesting to me I can breed a bit and get another* treecko if you want, but if you like a good IV'd gastly, I've got you covered, too. (*I'm now amidst of a trade atm, so I'll have to wait a little before I can trade)

Well, I had something around 30k (bought the calcenon stairs), and it went up in smoke while breeding for IV's and moves (and power items to do so). Now I'm running 3 pickup'ers of which a lvl 31 meowth with pay day. It isn't fast, but much faster than waiting for 1-3 battles a day. The milk option is something I should consider doing. EDIT: milking is a real chore, and the extra profit over time is negligible compared to pay day (which you can pair to pickup, with random extra profit).

Oof, that's a relief. Now I don't have to worry about getting flagged (or reported or whatever you call it) while highlighting that I edited information But indeed, it would need quite some change to make it work, and even more adjustments to make it functional and not-hindering.

Well, I don't like cheating, so payday sounds interesting. Mining relies quite a lot on luck, I'm already happy if I find a new fossil (Dome...so close :/) or a plate. And I sold quite a lot already, those super potions were rotting there anyway. Thanks for replying

Now that I'm between episodes, I'm kinda running low on money (IN-GAME). The daily battles in the central building (Opal Ward) don't earn me that much either. Are there other ways to get a quicker buck (if so, which are the quickest)? (No, being lucky while mining is not a solution I admire.)

Personally, I think brick break is better than hammer arm on metagross. I got one with agility (don't ask me why I still didn't replace bullet punch for brick break). Rest looks good
