Which one would fit better, then? Empoleon, Magnezone, Escavalier, Bronzong,...? (Also, why? I haven't been in much trouble withouth them, even against Aya)
-
I don't see why it shouldn't work as described in Bulbapedia (not a lot of ideas of what you could add). And I, too, assume it is available in Rejuv.

Ok, since when did Colress become El? If you share a public shower in college, any hopes of sanctity of bathing spots are brutally beaten by reality. Bathing in general gets a beating, too. Another shower thought: "Hmm...nice and warmAAHCOLDCOLDF***COLDohthankgodit'swarmagain..." I didn't touch anything.

Update: As of now, next thing I'll do is entering Agate. Before that, though, I want to make sure I didn't miss any good/important event mons (I'll get to Solosis and Rotom for sure), especially if known I like to breed mons first to get some decent moves/stats. So, I want to add to my squad mons obtainable before Agate that ensure (or at least give me a better chance) being able to beat the chapters locked in that part of the region. Team is: Blaziken (Adamant, SB), Gardevoir(Timid), Archeops(Naive), Mamoswine(Jolly), Galvantula(Timid), Zoroark(Timid). Bench: Diggersby(Jolly), Flygon (Rip Charlotte)(Jolly), Crobat(Jolly) (P.S. I know ths changes the topic, but I thought it would be to little to create an entirely new topic for it)

For a couple of years at college: "Damn, this shower is too small." - Me hitting the shower head with my...well, head.

Prankster Perish Song Murkrow, the Rejuvenation Method (lvl 1 Sturdy Endeavour/Ice Shard Donphan, can take out two mons with Berry Juice), manipulating fields (creating Corrosive mist, then igniting the hell out of it)...Plenty of options

Thanks. Now I just have to sacifice enough to the weather gods to make it rain on apophyll I MEAN COME ON I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THREE WEEKS FOR GODDAMN RAIN JUST TO CATCH A NEAR USELESS PINK REEF SPIKE. Ahum. EDIT: Gotcha. 6 IVs female Archen with Head Smash(->Rock Slide), Earth Power, Knock Off and Pluck(->Acrobatics). Now I just have to decide whether to keep Knock Off or U-Turn.

Well, music from the PMD-series has already been mentioned, so I'm not going to put links up for that. Sky Tower in the Red/Blue and ofc the Dialga battle (Sky) are fantastic. I really like a certain piece of Ratchet and Clank 2, too: It's the last part of the last planet (a factory HQ), it really builds up the tension and makes it very immersive.

Thing is, (unless you skip episodes,) EQ is unavailable (probably until the very end), so that leaves Bullshit and Earth Power. Neither is Roost, iirc. Question is if there's an optimal set for Reborn (when held my team into account) (and what's available). That way, I can breed Archen accordingly (and continue the story beating Ferns grassy ass).
-
Also, if E16 would've come out before tomorrow (or so), that might've triggered some Uranium-esque scenarios. Wouldn't 've wanted that to happen (unless Ame suddenly has destructive tendencies).
-
Thing is, I have (by luck) a 6 31-IVs Jolly Skorupi with Knock Off to breed with, but idk whether Knock Off or Earth Power would have more utility in Reborn. My team consists of Blaziken, Gardevoir, Mamoswine/Diggersby/Flygon, Zoroark and Crobat atm, and it would replace the latter.
-
That one is/will be alleviated (soon). I thought it was already changed in E15 so you don't have to anymore iirc.
-
I got an Archen, but I am in a bit of a bind on what set I should use (and since I IV-breed, that way also which ones to focus on). Should I go fully physical with a Jolly nature, or should I run a Naive nature for moves like Earth Power? Ideal movesets for any of the two are appreciated, too.

Prankster Perish Song Murkrow, lvl 1 Sturdy Endeavor+Ice Shard Donphan (learned from Rejuvenation)* if those are at your disposal. Or just abuse/change the field. *This requires breeding with the Swinub line (Ametrine) for Ice Shard, evolving and learning Endeavor (check serebii.net for details), then common candies to level 1. Can take down 2 non-leftovers mons if given Berry Juice.

Fitness daily at college and playing guitar. Although lately I've been rather demotivated for the latter. Oh, seeing people outside of lectures also makes my day (even though that doesn't happen so much).

Allow me to show you the power of Nuke Sylveon. Trump Card is a Normal (special) move that, the lower PP it has, the more damage it does. Its last attack is 190 Base Power, so with Pixilate it's as monstrous as Explosion. As example: an OU Choice Specs Sylveon with Trump Card OHKOes 172HP/0SpD Primal Kyogre without any prior damage taken. (101,5%-119,7%) (I know there's no choice specs, but neither is there a Kyogre.) It's completely ridiculous, you should try it for yourself. Also, you can breed Dragon Dance on Scraggy with an Altaria, Swablu is found close to evolution in trees somewhere at Route 1 (Aventurine Woods iirc), so don't worry if that's not the move you got initially. What's also an option is Chandelure. Fire resist Fairy, and 145 base Special Attack could have its fair uses.

It helps to say at which point in the game you are, so we can give available options. Assuming you got Lucario, I guess you're probably at least pas Terra. Natures and mentioning if you breed or EV-train your mon could also help, since for some guys you might want to breed on moves for example. If you merely need tankiness, you could get Cofagrigus (or Dusknoir), or perhaps Umbreon. Regenerator Amoonguss is also an option, plus it learns Spore. Iirc, you can also get all Rotom forms since you got to the snowy town. Rotom is a fairly long sidequest, but maybe you'll like it more than Manectric (it seems to have a nice moveset, though) Also, fairy-type options are Clefable and Sylveon. The former is more setup while the latter can fire a Pixilate Trump Card (be sure to deplete its PP to 1 before use), aka the Fairy Nuke.

SAVE OFTEN. SAVE OFTEN. SAVE OFTEN. Critical thing in reborn. You'll screw yourself over otherwise. Also, hidden abilities appear as much as normal ones, so keep that in mind for strategy.
-
If you don't like Steel types, maybe something like Roserade, Scolipede, Amoonguss or Dragalge could give you an edge for upcoming battles. (I don't suppose Ghastly is avaiable yet, neither Sludge Bomb, so that's not going to be fantastic atm.) But if you don't like poison-types either, then go with a fairy like Sylveon or Clefable. Gardevoir overlaps with Meowstic, so idk if that's a good idea.
-
It's your death wish...no, I don't mean Adrienn, I mean Viri. You better watch out. Also, if you like being annoying with Emolga, you can run Air Slash instead of Acrobatics and bank on Paraflinch (even though no Serene Grace), plus you can neglect attack and run an item, like perhaps King's Rock? You have nothing to combat fairies, so that might be a pain, and from the three suggestions you gave, Sylveon might fare the best. You already have Ground and Fire, so Fighting might give you only more coverage against Normal-types. Plus Pixilate Hyper Voice (or Nuke Trump Card) is pretty strong. Can't I interest you in getting a Bisharp, though? You can catch Pawniard on the road to Charlotte.
-
Make sure you don't get it surviving with <50% health, otherwise its berry boosts it even further. A well-trained and bred Gardevoir with Calm Mind works well, set up two-three CMs, then Moonblast it (chance of lowering its SpA included!). I just beat the guy rather easily with pokemon of lvl 52 and under. Magneton would also help against Swellow, Clefable and Wigglytuff (taking TWaves).
-
Nah, there's Serra next and I don't really have anything against it (she counters Blaziken rather well). I just had much more trouble with Aya in my previous run, hence te surprise. She was the second gym I beat on the first try (Julia was first), which is rather weird. EDIT: Nvm, setting up mist with Amplifield Rock Mamoswine just beats multiple gyms. Damn. I'll try to do this run first, then I'll see if I have the time for one. EDIT 2: Now we're past Noel, I'm thinking about substituting Crobat for Archeops. I am uncertain about a couple things, however. First: Is it a good idea, or has Crobat better use in certain cases? Second: If the former is true, how should I raise it? Fully Physical (running Jolly and waiting for EQ (no, I'm not jumping episodes)), or mixed (Naive with Earth Power)? Third: Should I run another poison-type then? If so, should I get Amoonguss, Roserade...? Fourth: I think Galvantula would be a good asset, although that might be troubling with Zoroark (since same targets). Should I ditch one of the two (if so, which one), keep both, or look for another option?

Turns out Aya's team is so slow, I easily set up mist. Piloswine would've swept her flat, if he didn't overlevel midway, didn't attack the next turn and got hit by Aqua Tail and Hydro Pump in the same turn. Diggersby was monstrous, too. Perhaps Ame should put her mons closer to lvl 45 than 40 in an update.

Yeah, I would say so. Usually, beta lasts around two weeks iirc, but this is a very big episode, so it will probably take longer. Just be patient, let us crash into fatal errors first before you get your hands on it.
