Also i always prefer blight to bleed, without a doubt. Bleed in general just does less damage. There is a set of unchained mods tho that makes his attack that hits and bleeds everyone do a shitton more bleed damage for like 20 rounds, with teh catch that its only usable once per battle.

I lost my valkyrie, mod class, the room before cuz they were just focusing her so hard her resolve just spiked. she was also masochistic so yeah that bleed did not work out for her.

Also vestals can go offensive with the right team, namely characters who heal themselves too like hound-masters and lepers. Play super offensive too and it's not hard to keep your health topped up enough that the vestal is better off stunning or attacking.

We don't know our real aptitudes until we get out there and try it all out. It's ok not to know exactly what you want, just try to explore and one day you'll find something that clicks, or a compelling reason to follow another path. You'll be fine.

I've sunk 21 hours into it and im fine not knowing wtf is going on. So long as i eventually get resolution, i'm fine. Praise early access, its cool to watch a game grow up.

The update included a few small changes lore wise, introducing a new character in the sewers. I dont know if beating the game yet gives you any answers obvs.

It's pretty clear tho that it's a case of mad scientists meddling with necromancy and things going to shit. Never expected to be a fungi protagonist but whatever.

I think it'll just have a flashfire presence on twitch, it's fun af and it is as fluid as it looks but there's no real endgame to keep you there aside from the basic gameplay. afaik the lore is real basic and there's no real endgame yet. It's not like Isaac where you can beat mom or blue baby or whatever and consider the run ended and sorted. DC just keeps going on and on and on. I bet when a more substantial update comes out it'll get some more attention.

if it was any of the recent ones i'd hazard a guess and say it was superbunnyhop or another guest that is in the e-sports industry on that week. I heard about dead cells from the podcast and cry and dodger streaming it. Even TB is impressed with it, that's a good pedigree.
