A better place to grind for the third gym is left to where is it, the place is called Beryll Cementery and have better exp rates. Also, in daytime, Bunnelby appears there, and it's a must catch (Be sure it has Huge power has it's ability, because it duplicate the attack stat). Water types kinda lack in the early game, the ones that you can catch now probably won't help you later in the game.

Your team lacks a Grass type pokémon and eartic is quite bad, so swap it with Petilil maybe? Lilligant is a boss, learn Quiver Dance in level 28 and can sweep through everything.

Same here, got Ralts about 3 days ago and no problem. Do you have the last version of Reborn (The one you find in Game Download) and not the community update? That may be the problem, if it isn't, then go to the Bug Reporting subforum and ask there if they can help you.

UPDATE#8: OMG THE HAX First I went to the Yeruyu Building because... plot. And finally the Secret Hideout, but before going to Serra: Got the Good Rod. Catched a Skrelp. Catched the Ralts. EV train both. Got a new Shiny Caterpie with better IV's so it's in my team. Got everyone to level 47. Beat Bennet. Got everyone to level 49. So only Serra was left... SCREW IT! It toke me like 10 soft reset or more to beat her, my original strategy that I designed with Vinny failed badly so I had to believe in the hax, and so it was done, I won when the evasion didn't kick in and it was a cute "Arcanine vs the world". Sturdy Golem can easily tank whatever (Lucario Aura Sphere?) with Sturdy and kill back with EQ, hey now we have 3 good rock types for Kiki (Sudowoodo, Lunatone and Golem)! Jokes aside, this may probably be one of the harder (probably THE HARDEST) monotypes of Reborn, even if you hack yourself in a Larvitar, Rhyhorn, Omanyte or Tyrunt has the starter.

There's no Rock type pokémon before Julia, and for Florinia you get 3 catches, a very bad one in Onix (Horrible stats and you can't evolve it), a mediocre one in Sudowoodo (It is good in the warly game and is one of your few options to beat Garchomp 1v1, fails to make an impact after that) and another mediocre one in Slugma (Your only Fire type option). tl;dr: If you hack an starter in, you will have it alone vs Julia, 4 pokémon by Florinia, full team by Shade (If you get lucky with the Mystery Egg, by Shelly) and probably no chance of beating Kiki (At least I can't see it, except a bizarre Lunatone sweep), but good luck!
