@ Duster The exact same reasons why it was banned in Gen 3. It turns the game into a 100% match. If you have certain move, congratulations, you've won. If not, too bad, you've lost. I still remember the horror of the Ninjask Spam from that period.

If it hasn't been said before, note that a lot of BP teams run ingrain, that stops things like Roar from working. Why can't we do something like what happened in 3rd gen? There, they limited Baton pass to 3 mons per team. We could do the same with swagger, and just limit it to one.

How is it Talonflames worst Nightmare? It literally changes nothing seeing as Talonflame will be using Brave Bird most of the time anyway, SD is a status move so it doesn't matter, and Roost is also priority. Additionally, for a move as game changing as Trick Room, an ability that instantly activates it is too powerful. Weavile-that thing was a working prototype tacked onto Sheddys entry. I was thinking more of a 'priority 0.5', where it gets to go first (as it would anyway), but not against other priority users. So Talonflame with brave bird would still go first etc.

Don't use Shadow Claw. Use Night Slash instead. It prevents Normal types from switching in on a predicted shadow claw.

I'd say Kanto. They have the Lion's share of the Megas, the Genius Bill (as the original creator he could just lock down all other PC systems), Team Rocket, Dr. Fuji, as said, Lt. Surge and his troops, a Gym full of Ninjas, Prof. Oak, Red (the guy with the highest level team in any game), and general baddasery.

Yeah, Jolly won't help you against other Talonflames. Due to gale wings, a lot of them tend to run max hp and no speed EVs (as they should outspeed 99% of what they'd use flare blitz on). This will allow them to tank a hit then OHKO your talon.
