  1. Fairy Tail Episode 110: Juvia going full yandere when Meredy threatens to kill Gray is priceless. One of the most awesome moments in the series really.

The way you worded that line makes it sound like you called me a god :P

I know it's a joke but... Don't do that please.

Ok, sorry man. Btw, I really liked Ultear and Meredy a lot as characters, did they get any screentime from the middle of the Grand Magic Tournament and on?

  2. How old do you take me for? ;-; Jokes aside, it's never "too soon" nor "too late". In the end, it all boils down to passion and dedication: if you have those two you will succeed, if you lack them you'll fail, regardless of age
  3. Oh cool, I was editing my "about me" and I found out this forum has the "Ignore" option. I wish I had found out about that sooner.

  4. People are starting to mention us in their intros *proud* Welcome aboard! Between the RP and creative writing section, the many fangames and the downright crazy people, you are going to have a good time. ANd if your dream is to create a game of your own well, this is one of the best places to find people who can help with that, with tips and suggestions if not by actually joining you in your efforts. Best of luck!
  5. GOD that took way longer than expected...

  6. 1) Of course he was, most people on SD are. 2) Life Orb is as valid as Focus Sash on Deo-A, not everyone want to lead with it. Besides, with SP hitting twice, explain to me what difference would Focus Sash have made. If anything, he should have tried to outprioritize Sucker Punch with Extremespeed, so that my move would fail. 3) Using Sucker Punch on a Pokemon that is infamous for carrying Dragon Dance and Substitute is NEVER the "much safer" option. 4) As usual, you make ridiculous claims without backing them up. Gengar is a trapper, Salamence is a set-up sweeper and Kangaskhan is a wallbreaker, so saying that one of them outclasses the others makes no sense: they fulfill very different roles and in fact, wasn't it for the "you can only have one mega per team" clause, they would be perfectly capable of working together in the same team. But since that clause exists, and only one can be used in a team, then which is "better" depends entirely on the needs of the team. With two ghosts already in my team there is no way I could use Gengar, and I need Fake Out much more than I need Dragon Dance. 5) And all the above is without mentioning the fact that, as usual, you run your mouth without actually reading the post you are quoting, and trying to understand what its point is. My post was never meant to be of the "hurr durr Kanga so stronk" kind. It was simply meant to highlight the fact that Mega Kanga is a relevant threat in Ubers, while regular Kanga is in NU which, in my opinion, makes Mega Kanga a bad design of a mega, because it takes a mediocre Pokemon and piles up random brokeness on it untill it becomes Uber, instead of trying and making it better at what it already does. In other words, Mega Kanga is not an improved Kanga, it is simply a different (and absolutely broken) Pokemon which, again, is a poor design for a Mega. This is all I was trying to say. Now I understand that since, at least from your distorted point of view, I made you "look bad" when we last crossed paths, now you must put your best efforts into making me "look bad" as a form of "revenge". But leaving aside the fact that this whole rivalry between you and me exists only in your head (because, again, I don't find you to be interesting), if you are so dead set in making me look bad you should bring to the table something better than obvious statements ("your opponent was a noob") or ridiculous claims not supported by facts ("Gengar is better than Kanga"). For now all you are accomplishing is to further embarrass yourself. The sooner you realize how pathetic you look in dragging this pointless feud with me (a feud that, again, exists only in your mind), the better it is, for your own good. Personally, I find I have wasted way too much time on this tomfoolery, so from now on I shall make it a point to never answer, address, or take into consideration any post you make. If you could be so gracious as to do the same for me, that would be great.
  7. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ubers-323124519 You know a mega evolution is poorly designed (read: it piles up random brokeness on top of random brokeness, instead of trying to make the base form better at what it already does) when it is capable of doing this in Ubers, while its base form has fallen all the way down to NU.
  8. After Pineapple's (legitimate) complaints that the variety of Pokemon available in Ep 1 was rather shallow, we put our best efforts into guaranteeing that all types would be equally represented in Ep 2. So yeah, of course some types are still going to be more common than others, but there isn't going to be a "dominance". You will be given a reasonably wide array of choices for each type. This is caused by the fact that players will be exploring the western side of the map you can see in the OP which, as I have stated many times, features many different ecosystems (grassland, rough terrain, even a desert) and thus a lot of diversity in terms of Pokemon caught. Also, events are going to be included to allow you to get your hands on even more species, fishing will become available, and... Remember how we stated that each area in the game is going to have an ultra-rare wild encounter that is of the Fairy type (or destined to evolve into that type anyway)? Well, not counting Elftik there are going to be 3 new such ultra-rare Pokemon, each in a different area. So yeah, the game is just getting started, so it's still too soon to talk about a "turning point", but in Ep 2 we will really begin showing off our stuff
  9. Remember when I said LoH: Trails of Cold Steel was part Final Fantasy and part Persona? Well, I take that back. This game is effectively Persona 4 in a different setting. Not that I'm complaining!

  10. There is a recurring NPC whose final team includes your Pokemon, and another one whose final team includes Jericho's. Both are scheduled to make an appearance in Ep 2, but frankly I can't remember whether their initial teams will already feature the respective unevolved forms, or if they will start using them later on. Given the kind of environment players will be exploring in Ep 2, I dare say yours has much better chances of showing up compared to Jericho's.
  11. Not for you. This topic was started in may, so it's been much less than a year since you became aware of this project. But the exchange in a certain topic that caused myself and Zim to become interested in each other's ideas happened on january the 31st, and the next day I approached him with the idea which would later become Se7en.
  12. You mean of Ep 2? We CLEARLY stated it would come either in the last week of february or in the first week of march, so be patient Meanwhile, monday is going to be the first anniversary of this project, so expect a big announcement to celebrate. Hint: it will involve a recurring element of Pokemon games that was conspicuously absent from Ep 1.
  13. Fairy Tail Episode 109: LUCY FIRE!

  14. You know, a Pokemon that would REALLY need redesigning is Deoxys. The normal form that is. I mean, if it has 3 forms each of which specialize on an aspect (attack, defense, speed) of battle, to the point its lore explicitly states that such formes are used to adapt to hostile environment (Def Form to protect its core from environmental hazards, Atk Form to hunt for food, Spe Form to run from predators), then why is its base form essentially a lesser Atk Form? Shouldn't it be, like, a jack of all trades? However, this would be impossible to fix within the limitations of this topic...
  15. Fairy Tail Episode 108: back in Galuna arc, there was some long-term foreshadowing involving Ultear's role. Now that such role has been exposed, I love how they are featuring a lot of flashbacks to help connect the dots. Hiro doesn't always build his baddies over time, but when he does, he does it right.

  16. http://i.imgur.com/12oMS33.jpg Fairy Tail Episode 107: between this and an earlier scene between Elfman and Evergreen, there sure is a lot of ship tease in this episode. Also my word, does Lucy look incredibly beautiful in this shot...
  17. OK OK I GET IT ALISA IS THE MAIN HEROINE. Now can we PLEASE give some screentime to the other girls as well? Geez...

    1. Nova

      Nova

Can't Catherine take some screentime herself?

lol but then there would be too many tsunderes in this game. Jokes aside, it annoys me how a game with dating sim elements would push, in the main storyline, one girl as the canon love interest. I thought it was up to me to decide which girl the hero ends up with?

    3. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

ok im not a fan of dating sims (or tsunderes for that matter) but even i can see how stupid that is for that kind of game

  18. First impression of LoH Trails of Cold Steel: Final Fantasy + Persona + SCHOOL UNIFORMS. Not that I'm complaining!

      Sadly we only get English audio, and I cannot turn it off like I did with P4G because post-battle interactions between linked characters are important, and those don't get subtitles ;-;

Not all of them. Also, in this one they look more fanservice-y.

  20. Fairy Tail Episode 106: nice job running your mouth, Lisanna...

  21. Fairy Tail Episode 105: Ah, God Slayer Magic. The form of magic designed to be "kinda sorta like Dragon Slayers, except we can beat them and they cannot beat us, except not really because ultimately they always beat us in the end". Was there ever a point to this?

That would be a fantastic twist (and would explain the blak auras). But with no build, it would feel like an ass pull :/

  22. Fairy Tail Episode 104: there is form-fitting, and then there is Ultear's attire in this arc. How can she even breathe in that thing?
