Random Cold Steel thought #44: so basically we save Garrelia Fortress in the proverbial nick of time, only for it to be blown up anyway two months later, and to make things worse, it happens off-screen. It's kinda anti-climatic, and makes me feel like my actions were pointless <.<

Except this isn't life, this is a scripted plot. The consistent lack of accomplishments in the final part of the game (as in, you never achieve anything relevant, the plot keeps flowing regardless of what you do, and the ending pretty much negates the entire game) is a glaring issue of this otherwise great game. That's poor scriptwriting, nothing more, nothing less.

NIDOKING SHOULD GET GUNK SHOT. What the hell Game Freak, Greninja, Octillery, PERSIAN and a bunch of other dumb things can get it, and yet the premier Poison-type Sheer Force user cannot get it, despite the fact that, in Gen 6, you went out of your way to raise its Atk? #logic

Just a thought: considering that you already have a solid physical attacker in Escavalier, and considering that your win condition is setting up Reuniclus to win, have you considered using the bulky variant of Salamence, with Intimidate, Defog and Roost? Such a set would help mitigate the Crawdaunt issue, provide a solid out to the likes of Heracross (I am not saying that your team is weak to Heracross, I am simply saying that, against such powerful sweepers, it is better to have mons with access to recovery moves, so that they can switch in multiple times without being worn down), and take care of hazard removal, thus allowing you to try some other mega in Blastoise's stead. I would advice agaist Ampharos because two dragons in the same team might prove risky, but for example Aggron can prove a good partner for defensive Salamence, tanking Ice attacks aimed at it while Salamence takes care of Ground-type attackers. Meanwhile, Beedrill can giv you better offensive presence and access to U-turn. OR, if type synergy is important to you, you could make Swampert your mega (the boost to stats is so significant, it might be worth the loss of Lefties, provided that you time your switches carefully. Defensive Mega Swampert is underrated IMO), and use Rotom Fire in your last team slot: Rotom Fire is very useful to this team, as it shrugs off any and all moves Zapdos can learn, it walls Mamoswine (which can otherwise prove problematic to switch into), can use WoW to cripple enemy physical attackers, and provides momentum with Volt Switch. The last option is probably the best one, so I am going to reiterate: run a defensive, Defog-Roost-Dragon Tail set on Salamence, make Swampert your mega, and replace Blastoise with Rotom Fire.

Random Cold Steel thought #35: the optional bonding event with Sara, at the abandoned bracer guild, is so sweet. I am particularly glad I got to see it, because I missed it during my first playthrough.

Turns out Beowulf has a rather bad match-up with Double. Considering that I hate the guy, this makes resident eldritch abomination my fav character in the cast.

However, I see a fatal flaw: here we are having a DISCUSSION about proper etiquette in a debate. But those who don't bother with etiquette in a debate, and simply resort to, well, "your arguments are shit fuck you I hate you", are often those who are not interested in having a discussion, and prefer to use the internet just for the sake of insulting others. And if such people are not interested in having a discussion, then it follows logically that they wouldn't read this topic: therefore, this topic is destined to fail at its intended goal IMO, because while it aims to educate people, it is going to be read only by those who were educated to begin with. Let's be honest here: most internet trolls make it a point of not reading any post that is longer than 3 lines (the infamous "tl;dr" people), I cannot imagine them sitting through Lexi's arguments, smart as they might be. -
Yeah, when I said "the whole concept of giant worm in a desert was inspired by", I meant as far as this project goes. In other words, I was talking about what gave us the idea for such a Pokemon.

Random Cold Steel thought #34: maybe I am too sensitive on this kind of matters, but the stunt Alfin pulled to get Rean to dance with her at the Summer Festival (basically forcing him to choose between hurting the feelings of the people closest to him, or pissing off the imperial family) completely killed her likeability for me. It's too easy to be a prankster, when you are an imperial princess who can use her status to get away with everything...

Well Nova's announcement ended up being VERY spoilery. But yes, as he implied, there is one area in Ep 2 whose wild encounter rate depends on the weather: basically, every time you enter this area, there are different chances to find different weather conditions, and the Pokemon available in the wild change depending on that, so yeah, you will want to check back there often. As for this particular Pokemon well, it was born when a creation of mine turned out to be potentially devastating in Doubles, so we created this guy specifically to act as the perfect Doubles partner for that other Pokemon. Although, it is perfectly capable of holding its own in single competition, as well. So yeah, when it comes to movepool, selection of abilities and stat allignment, we created the guy with Doubles in mind, do remember that when making your guesses
