    Ryan turned and stared into Kage's eyes for a minute before realizing it was of no use and responded. "I'd love to do that. I don't know, its just, I was always the guys everyone liked in Mossdeep but now I'm just normal and I need to get used to it. I can't get away with doing stuff like that here. I'm sure people will be accepting of your condition anyway. I was wondering, do you and Jacob wanna hit up the cafeteria with me? Glacien's getting hungry again and so am I. Want to be ready for what's happening at 6, y'know?" Ryan stood up and placed his hands on Kage's shoulders, wanting a hug for comfort, but realized it probably wasn't the best time.

    Ryan stood in silence before he turned away as a tear slid down his cheek. Goddamnit, you've already fucked things up. You've lied and revealed someone's secret without their consent. What the hell is wrong with you? Ryan turned around, trying to keep as emotionless a face as possible. "I'm really sorry Kage. I never meant to say that. I guess, since you'll be roommates and seeing each other for a while, you two might as well talk it out. If you want to go do something before 6 I'll be waiting outside. Without even looking for their approval, Ryan speed-walked out of the dorm. However, he had forgotten Glacien, who with a sharp cry, turned and rolled off after him. Ryan turned back at the door and saw Glacien trying his best to push it open. He opened the door and let Glacien roll straight into his arms, like they'd done for five years.

    "No no no no no. Jacob its actually an ongoing joke between us. Y'see, when we were kids, we were playing hide and seek and he could never find me even though I was always moving right in front of him!" Ryan sighed as he tried to hide the fact. He shuffled his feet awkwardly. "Right Kage?"

    My bad for not posting and leaving Murdoc and Jory waiting. I had choir practice and forgot to mention it.

    "Wow, all these people I know all together! Glacien's doing well actually. Same old thing, as long as I give him food he doesn't care what's happening really," Ryan said as he placed Glacien on the ground. He rolled over to Lucas and gave him a nudge. "I didn't know you were coming to the Academy either. I'm assuming to find your dorm, Jacob had to act as a seeing-eye dog of..." Ryan paused realizing he might have let out too much. He knew about Kage being blind but he should have made sure he was ok with people having known this fact before so carelessly speaking. He felt the air around him grow thick as he started beating himself up inside for making such a careless mistake.

    "I just found the dorm and used the elevator to get up here! I'll meet you down at the entrance ok?" Ryan scooped up Glacien and hopped on the elevator. He went down to the ground floor and looked both ways, already forgetting which side led to the entrance. Upon looking left, he saw a familar person sitting outside their room. That was the kid with the Ralts, he thought. He began walking to him. As he got closer, he realized that he knew this person. "Kage!" he yelled jovially.

    Ok, I was just wondering, considering it's my first RP, I just didn't know if it would ruin what you wanted to do or not. Just waiting to see if Azery reacts to my post to see where to go from there. EDIT: Nvm, I'm bad at finding people's responses for some reason. Didn't notice Azery's post like 10 minutes after mine.

    Well he only saw Kage from the back so he may or may not recognize him. You thinking he should state something about Kage's being blind or would you rather it play out that he never knew in the first place?

    Ryan entered the room and was astonished at how large it was. "This isn't a dorm. This is a goddamn apartment." Ryan claimed his bedroom and flopped on the couch. He tossed Glacien a Pokeblock. He put his bags onto the bed and ran out to the couch. He turned around and saw books and Pokedexes on the tables. He saw the books were identical, so he made the assumption that James was a trainer just like him. He grabbed his own and was pleased to see that it had stored the information on Spheals in response to Glacien. Ryan then ran over to the window. He stuck his head out, examining the campus view. It wasn't all to impressive, considering he was on the second floor only. However, as he scanned the campus, he thought he saw James running around. "Guy's probably lost," he said with a chuckle. "Hey James!" he yelled, hoping he would hear.

    Chimchain, do you perhaps inform us of what our dorm is like for us when we enter? Just wondering so I could perhaps advance in the story from where Ryan enters his room.

    "Actually, I think I can get there on my own. Thank you for the assistance Mr. Drake Sir." Ryan, as he always must do, scooped up Glacien and ran towards the elevator. He felt embarrassed having been so awkward and could have sworn he saw Drake judging him for his breath smelling trick. Goddamnit Ryan, he thought to himself. You were the popular one back in Mossdeep, almost everyone knew you and wanted to be around you. This is the real world. Not your secluded city in the middle of the ocean. No one here knows the real you anyway, not even those at Mossdeep. They don't know the boy who beats himself up over his flaws and who he has no say in being. He hugged Glacien and slipped into the elevator when it opened in front of him. He pressed the button for the second floor and went straight up, surprised that no one else had entered the elevator before him. He dried a small tear from his eye as the door opened on the second floor. A couple students poured in while he was leaving. He found his dorm room, a little to the right after leaving the elevator. He used his keycard to open the dorm and took one step inside.

    Ryan was astonished by the sudden withdrawal of the boy. "Damn, does my breath smell?" He used the age old trick of licking his wrist and taking a sniff. Smelled like the apple he just ate. Not great, but not bad. He turned back to Devin, hoping he hadn't left him waiting for that long. "Seems as if he isn't gonna need any help. Would you mind helping me though? I get lost rather easily, and I would like to have enough time to explore campus before 6. Any assistance you could offer would be great." He shuffled his feet, embarassed to be so dependent on a person he had barely just met. "My room is 202, if that matters. There's another person who should be there. His name is James. Have you seen him?" Ryan looked down rather shamefully, realizing he was rambling with almost no response from his idol.

    I made the biggest mistake by getting involved with so many people and then running away in seconds. Now I have like 4 unfinished conversations and a dorm room to explore. As well as mischief to take part in xp

    Ryan glanced to the left to see that a new face was among his as well. "Actually, could you give me one minute sir. I'd just like to introduce myself and we can go about finding the dorm rooms very soon." Ryan turned over to the boy with an excited smirk. "Hey man, the name's Ryan. This here is Glacien. I'm here to become a trainer."

    Bfroger, I'm not exactly pleased with your making my character do something but I'll roll with the punches as best as I can to still get the desired outcome of what I was attempting to accomplish. Cuz bi people are kewl

    "Hello students, you look rather lost. Didn't they explain to you how to enter dorms?" Ryan jumped at the sound of somebody obviously speaking to him. He turned around and was rather shocked to see Devin, the Dragon Type Elite Four of the Ymora Region standing before him, in all his glory. Ryan idolized him in more ways than one and sat for nearly two minutes with his jaw hanging open. "Um... not that I remember, Mr. Devin Sir? Could you help me out?"

    Ay, Bfroger, that was my bad ignoring 'ya there. Sometimes I'm a bit oblivious and it's not my best trait you might say. Next time, for sure, I'll make sure I do something.
