I used Destiny Bond (when it still worked) that is (was) the easiest way imo.

They're starters so they are probably safe (i think) even though it's not really fair...hey an idea: why not take away the players money if he chooses an OP starter? Like if you choose (for example) Bulbasaur you get your usual 3000$ if Torchic you get 0$ maybe someone robs you on the way out from the Grand Hall (with the Mart there "temporary" not working) or would that be too difficult to implement? Well R.I.P. Azumarill (Gyarados was better anyway)

First question: how did you get to Terra without 6 Pokemon? Like i already have 6 when i'm agaist kiki (or Aya at max), anyway there's plenty to choose from but what your team needs is one thing (and one thing only): DRAGONS! or well at least 1 dragon i recommend Tyrantrum (with Dragon Dance, Rock Head and Head Smash it kills many MANY things)

Ahem i'm not an expert in poetry/poems (a genre i dislike) but anyway i found the "black" part somewhat "lacking" (or well..."weak"), from the others i could imagine or "see" the colors from the text, in the "black" one i felt "emptiness" and not "color" (even if grim, black is a color). The part i liked more is "blue" maybe because it was (at least the beginning) rhymed (or because i like the ocean/sea)

But you could also have used an item (like X Attack) to boost him so you would've win anyway (just using more items/turns)

I would recommend to teach Jack Destiny Bond (by breeding) but it's not working right now so....tough call. without it that Garchomp is a beast (maybe Ame disabled the move deliberately? ), the next strategy would be 6 Pokemon with "Intimidate" but there are no gen 6 Pokes with that.....i really don't know...Toxic stall maybe? But Solaris has Full Restores (argh and FEAR won't work either cause Leftorvers)

It would also make sense (and be more Reborn-like) if we battled the "last boss" with a (broken) toothpick (like idk only with one of our Pokemon) and got the "Infinity Sword" (Mega Ring or whatever) right after that battle

I would like to see that actually (and their horror/fear when they explore this region ) first of all i would like to see "Trainer Red" who of course wouldn't give a damn and say only .....like always (we'll find him on the top of Ametrine post game) but Nintendo's lawyers never sleep sooo idk
