"Nogu huh? Well I suppose I can see where his frustration comes from a bit," Marcus muses as he glances at the confused pegasus rider. "I suppose you wouldn't know, and to be fair even some Lestlians don't know much of the story, but recently members of the newer generation of the Nogu tribe have been taken in so that they can become fully assimilated into Lestli culture. Not like it improves their status much..." Marcus explains, muttering at the end.

[Enemy Phase] Troubadour 1 Moves to G6 and casts Sleep on Cadence (Canto to I7) Unfortunately, in her rage, Cadence is less susceptible to the sleep magic, as this time she stays awake. Mage 3 Moves to I5 Dancer 5 Moves to I3 and dances for Mage 3 Mage 3 Moves to G6 and attacks Cadence The mage tries to hit with his magic, but Cadence is faster, dodging the attack with ease. Dancer 2 Dances for Mage 3 Mage 3 Attacks Cadence Reinvigorated and somewhat frustrated, the mage focuses his magic for a moment, forming a larger cloud of magic than normal. Though the massive thunderbolt nearly missed its mark, it managed to strike Cadence, zapping her with intense force, dropping her to the ground immediately. Troubadour 2 Moves to G17 and casts Befuddle on Helena The troubadour tries to confuse the mage a bit, but she avoids the ball of magic entirely. Dancrer 3 Moves to H18 and dances for Troubadour 2 Troubadour 2 Moves to G18 and casts Befuddle on Belros (Canto to I18) Trying for a new target, the troubadour focuses on the spy. Though the barrier initially seems to protect him, it isn't enough, and he ends up becoming slightly confused. Knight 1 Moves to J1 Knight 2 Moves to J2 Knight 3 Moves to J3 Knight 4 Moves to E22 Knight 6 Moves to E24 Dancer 1 Moves to D24 and dances for Knight 6 Knight 6 Moves to D22 Knight 5 Moves to H23 Scavenger 4 Unlocks Door 3 Scavenger 6 Unlocks Door 6 Thief 3 Moves to U1 Thief 4 Moves to S20 [Ally Phase] Madante Holds Helena Attacks Null Knight 4 Focusing her magic, she charges a large meteor which she aims towards one of the null knights. Rayne tries to move in to strike the injured scavenger, but he managed to evade the strike just barely before retaliating with his own magic. Though the damage was minimal, the rider would feel just a little bit weighed down. Cheat Sheet: -

Riding forward, a single shot is all Idei needs to finish off the weakened scavenger. Cheat Sheet: -
"Hah. I see now. Not sure if you know, but you have an appearance that some members of Lestlian nobility have. Though in saying that, not all of the nobility there is quite like that, but I guess you looked convincing enough for the lad," Marcus explained while trying to contain his laughter. "Well since it's come up, where are you from if you don't mind me asking?" he asks in a slightly lower voice to keep some people from listening.

Idei focuses his aim, landing a shot onto the scavenger. Though the scavenger tries to retaliate, his injuries throw off his aim, causing his magic to miss the horseman as he rides away. Cheat Sheet: -

[Enemy Phase] Troubadour 1 Moves to G8 and casts Sleep on Cadence Seeing an opening, the troubadour moves forward and hits Cadence with a green orb of magic. While the effects weren't quite immediate, Cadence eventually fell asleep on the spot. Dancer 2 Moves to H7 and dances for Troubadour 1 Troubadour 1 Moves to I6 Thief 2 Moves to D17 and attacks Belros Moving forward, the thief strikes Belros, but not before taking a strike in return. The thief ends up worse for wear however, and begins to suffer symptoms of poisoning. Scavenger 2 Moves to D18 and attacks Belros with Iron Knife Aware of the threat, the scavenger attacks Belros from range, landing a clean hit. Belros does retaliate however, and the scavenger too starts to suffer symptoms of poisoning. Dancer 1 Moves to D19 and dances for Thief 2 Thief 2 Attacks Belros Reinvigorated, the thief makes one final strike, bringing Belros to the ground. Thief 1 Moves to E6 and attacks Clarisse Believing in his agility, the thief tries to strike Clarisse. Though the first strike was a clean hit, he was unable to avoid the crushing blow of Clarisse's hammer. The impact caused his weapon to go towards Clarisse, who sends it over to the convoy man. Scavenger 1 Moves to E5 and attacks Clarisse with Hustle The scavenger, seeing his ally fall, moves in to try and finish the job. Though his first orb of magic seems to be overshot, it manages to land along with the second, better aimed orb, causing Clarisse to collapse. Priest 1 Moves to M12 Troubadour 2 Moves to L16 [Ally Phase] "I'm not letting you drop dead on me yet," Madante mutters as he rushes to Belros' aid. Madante Moves to D15 and uses a vulnerary on Belros Helena Moves to E16 and attacks Thief 2 with Elwind Moving in to clear out some of the enemies, Helena hits the thief with a strong gust of wind magic. As he falls, a scroll blows through the wind towards Helena, who decides to put it in the convoy for the time being. Turn 3 Belros' Barrier fades Cheat Sheet: -
"Bah. That was just a mess all around. All he had to do was explain himself a bit and this whole mess could have been avoided. Then again, I suppose I'm fine with how things have turned out, so I can't complain," Marcus groans. "At any rate, I'm just glad to be out and about. Though I may decide to stop by one of the taverns later if I get the chance."

After the mess from earlier, Marcus wanted nothing more than to walk about outside. He enjoyed the sea air a bit, though it may have just been that he simply enjoyed being outside. At any rate, he did overhear the wyvern rider's chants and recognized them. "Oh? Didn't expect you to be out here in prayer," Marcus remarks as he moves closer to the man.
