    Turbo and Bfroger “Good job for a first time battle,” Devin said. “Don’t let a loss get you down. You can learn a lot from it. And if you want to get your Pokémon healed up, wait a little longer because Nurse Joy is coming down with her equipment.” He turned his attention to the door for a while when after saying that, but when he didn’t see any movement he turned back to Shiro “By the way, you called your Ralts ‘boy’, but it’s actually a girl.” He gave both trainers a warm smile and guided them off the field so the next pair could take place. Tacos and Murdoc “You both did your best to adjust to the circumstances. You didn’t make it yourself easy by picking that Beldum, but in the long run Metagross can be powerful so take good care of it,” he said to Kage. He then turned his face to Ryan. “I commend you for thinking clear throughout the battle. Good job!” “Chansey!” a sudden voice said, drawing Redwood’s attention. “Ah, I see Chansey and Audino are already here. That means Nurse Joy is almost here to heal your Pokémon,” Redwood explained when both students made place for the next battle. ************************ While students were waiting for their turn to battle, a Machamp showed up carrying a Healing Machine. It waited for a moment looking back to see Nurse Joy and Rebecca carrying medical supplies. “Put it over their Machamp,” Nurse Joy said with a soft voice. “And thank you very much.” The Machamp showed a big smile and used one of his arms to scratch his head, not knowing how to deal with a compliment, when Tyron and Brendan made an appearance. They were carrying a table and put in front of the Machine. Nurse Joy thanked them as well and started to threat the first Pokémon. If they were exhausted she gave them to Audino to heal them up using the machine, while taking care of those that had a status move condition. **************************** DarkLight, Notus, Jory and Dobby (I assume Claude is still with this group) “I’m fine, the scald didn’t do anything,” Evan lied. His shoulder hurt and felt like it burned a little but he wasn’t used to accepting help. He and his brother were raised by doing everything themselves, resulting in Evan getting up quickly. In the meantime Phoebe was talking to Colin. “You seem to have a great eye, kid, I like you!” she gave him the thumbs up. “Are you by any chance aiming to become a Water Pokémon trainer?” Her attention changed for a minute when she saw Evan getting up. “And about those two; I can’t let them get away with fighting. I already have the appropriate punishment in mind,” she grinned.

    K_H and commander: At this point Dark Pulse and Heat Wave are too powerful. It leaves little room for a Pokémon to grow. Also about that Zorua: Illusion can't do that to a field. It can only change Zorua's shape. I was already on the fence when it could somewhat talk, but since it happened in a movie I let it go. (And they tend to do things in movies that are special because it's a movie) I forgot to add something: What's with the freaking battle formations? You literally have that Pokémon for 5 minutes.... @Zephyr: RoG members will have back-up. You won't fight 3 vs 15 or something like that. And about that detention: Evan will be split from the others. I let him go overboard a little to achieve this as I need something to happen.

    Redwood sees the burning the dorm down as an honest mistake by a rookie trainer. He did put out the fire himself and his backstory (running away from home) gave Redwood and Devin the impression Slade runs away from his problems. That's the reason why he didn't get detention. (And I stated somewhere that Phoebe said he wasn't the first and probably not the last. And she flooded an entire hallway in her first year as a teacher) Both. You can use Agility to raise its overall speed or on a short term basis to dodge an attack. Just don't abuse it but I don't think you will.

    I was planning to give the entire group involved with Evan detention xD But yes, Kenny and Henry will receive some punishment as well. Alright and take your time. I'm going to bed anyway.

    “I’ll make you pay… laughing with people that can’t walk anymore…” Evan mumbled. In his anger he didn’t realize he actually said it loud enough for people to hear. Alvin was too busy to struggle in order to break free to hear him. Eventually he managed to escape when Colin distracted Evan for a second. The bug trainer tried to run away only to smack into Danielle pretty hard and in his confusing he blamed her. “Can’t you watch where you’re going, brute?” he asked. Evan was the first to react. He tried grabbing Alvin again when he was suddenly hit by a stream of hot water. It hit him on the shoulder with enough force to send him flying. “Hot water for a hothead,” Phoebe said patting her pink Jellicent. “Oh and you both have detention for fighting. Anyone else involved?”

    I just want to see everyone to battle someone first, after that I'll allow some more battles as I'm waiting for what happens in RoG. And so many opportunities to get everyone in detention xD Along with Evan who already has detention but just doesn't know it.

    I prefer if you kept that second battle on hold for now. I want everyone to have at least one battle first. After that you can have as many battles as you want.

    Evan’s mood didn’t change for the better when first Claude and then Avis interrupted. “Of course I know we can battle, but this wimp doe-“ He was cut short by Alvin who interfered. “Is that Karrablast you have?” the bug trainer asked excited. “What an interesting color,” he said grabbing the bug from Claude and studying it. “Apparently you’re not so dumb as you look since you took my advice, but do you think you’re ready to handle such a fine Pokémon as a Karrablast? Personally I don’t think you’ve reached that level just yet,” Alvin said without thinking. That was too much for Evan to handle. He warned Alvin to do something about his behavior a little while ago and the kid just didn’t listen. “Now you’ve done it!” Evan said in a threatening tone. He grabbed Alvin by the collar and started to drag him over to one of the battlefields when Lana arrived.

    Colin, James, Slade, Lana, Claude, Evan and Alvin (the last two are probably going to fight if I find a battle theme that I like) I think the rest is settled / already fighting.

    You do realize James is waiting at the same battlefield right? And Colin is next to that one...

    That was in the Unova series. Most annoying one ever so I didn't watch everything. Alvin will probably be traumatized by Danielle's teasing so that's not going to work. And he's building his own (bug) harem.

    Woohooo water types! I'm not a big fan of Mega Gyarados since it's dark type adds more weaknesses, but overall pretty nice set. You got everything covered. I personally run the D-dance / sub with Lum berry set. The only thing that really stands out that I would personally change is Azumarill. I would go for an extra coverage move instead of using Aqua Jet AND Waterfall. Maybe Superpower or Knock Off? Since you don't run Dark Pulse on Greninja. Also I'm not that experienced in competitive so you can try out my advice, but I'm not sure it will give better results xD

    I'm so tempted right now to let Alvin trash Evan. Yes, I secretly enjoy Alvin.

    “Just leave me alone! I’ve done nothing wrong so what do you want from me?” Alvin asked. “Remember that last sentence you blurred out? You think you can get away with saying whatever you like without facing consequences?” Evan said. Honestly he had no idea why he still went after Alvin. Normally he wouldn’t waste his time on people like that but recently his anger surfaced more and more, especially after he found out the truth behind his father. He struggled to keep his fake smile up and Alvin was an easy target. No one liked the kid and after what he said, there was no way Evan would let it go. The bug trainer had absolutely no idea what Evan was going on about, but when he spotted Cleffa he started laughing. “You want to fight me and my majestic bug types with something like that? I bet it can’t even touch my Combee!” Evan completely lost it. “All I need to squash those useless bugs is my Eevee. Now that’s a real Pokémon,” he said glaring at his opponent. Things turned hostile very quickly and Lana was about the only witness. She didn’t know what to do but she knew something had to be done. She looked around and saw Claude, but he was too far away and in the presence of Professor Redwood. Desperately she tried to grab the Coordinators attention by waving her arms and jumping, when her eye fell on Danielle and a trainer she didn’t know. Lana bit her lip, doubting her decision for a while, and decided to go ask Danielle for help after all. “Danielle! I think Alvin is in trouble,” she whispered when she was close enough.

    I think it's James vs Claude. But anyway I'll see how it turns out.

    I don't think I saw that movie or only once a very long time ago. The only Zorua I remember is from the anime and that one couldn't talk. Edit: Btw, Phoebe's field is still open. And anyone without an opponent that wants to fight Lana?

    I just read Kenny's post and I'm confused. I didn't think it was possible for Zorua to speak, even when using illusion?

After all, we can learn a lot from just observing," he said. ((You can just start. Assume all three observers are ready to go anytime)) *************************** Lana walked around with her two Pokémon. Her shyness got the better hand again and she didn’t really know who to challenge. She was looking for a familiar face when she ran into Alvin; the weird boy they saved from the woods yesterday. The boy was lying in the grass and studied his new partner from every single angle. The expression on her face creped her out and she decided to ignore him, when she ran into a boy with an Eevee and a Cleffa. Apparently he was acquainted with Alvin because he called out to him. “Hey bugbrain, we’ve got a score to settle, remember?” Evan said aggressively. The entire day had gone wrong so far. That test was a small disaster, he met Alvin and now he was stuck with a Pokémon he never considered. The only reason he still had the Cleffa with him was because he couldn’t bring himself to put it back after he saw her reaction. And to top it off his Eevee befriended the little fairy.

    Anyone? Or I'll let James fight Lana. There is a healing center in the main building. And this is a perfect opportunity to let the Nurse appear.

    That reminds me: do you guys want a Nurse Joy? I haven't really decided if I would scratch that or not. So far I only decided not to do Officer Jenny's.

    Bfroger Devin took off Shun’s bandage and examined it. “You used a Burn Heal on this didn’t you? It’s completely healed and Shun is ready to battle.” Tacos and Murdoc Professor Redwood watched as two students made their way to his battlefield. “I’m ready when you are,” he said. “What kind of battle did you choose?” ((He was already there))

    I was planning to reveal it after anyway. Devin isn't one to interrupt a battle for something like that.

    TurboAura and Bfroger Devin watched the students in front of him. He recognized them from yesterday; one was the boy with the lost Ralts and the other two wanted to go after him. One of them asked if they were allowed to do a double battle. “All types of battles are allowed. One on one, doubles or normal were you can substitute if you want. It’s all up to you and your opponent.” *************************** Evan wasn’t really sure what kind of Pokémon he wanted. He walked around the different tables looking which Pokémon were left and some caught his attention, but he didn’t want to force it. He released his Eevee to ask if it had a preference for a certain type, when he walked against the table containing Fairy types by accidents. A Pokéball fell off and when he tried to grab it, it opened up. A red light showed and a few seconds later a small pink star shaped Pokémon showed up. “Cleffa!” the little thing yelled happy, looking up at the student who released her. “Oops, sorry little one, I didn’t mean to. Let me put you back real quick,” he said ready to recall the fairy type. “Cleffa Cleffa!” the little thing responded by waving her tiny arms and looking at Evan with baby-doll eyes. “Vee!” Eevee responded and went over to the Cleffa to introduce himself. “Not you too!” Evan complained. “But looks like I don’t have a choice…” He held the Cleffa in his hands and held it on eye level. “I’ll come up with a nickname for you later.” The little fairy responded by moving her little arms and started to get comfortable.
