  1. Poor girl. And no, Alvin won't even look at her unless she starts to dress up like a Vespiquen.
  2. What? Wasn't Colin talking to Mareek and got ignored? If I missed something sorry xD And yes, Evan is just following around. I'll include him some more after all of this.
  3. EXLink: there are still some Phantump left... and you can do some damage to those Trevenant...
  4. I have no idea. I made her up on the spot so I'll just see where it goes. And I think I'm going to do that capture the flag thingy...
  5. EXLink Flare’s attacks didn’t do much do the Trevenant’s. They were clearly much higher leveled, but couldn’t do anything due to the Flygon being around. Meanwhile Rookie, as Devin nicknamed the white Trevenant, was getting pummeled by Haxorus. No matter what it tried, it didn’t work. Devin didn’t even need to give out orders. His Haxorus and Flygon were trained well that they knew what they had to do and Slade could feel how powerful they really were. And while Haxorus dodged every attack Rookie threw at him, the more the latter lost its patience and finally made the mistake Haxorus was waiting for. Its arm grew more heavy as it took the shape of a hammer. Rookie swung the Woodhammer full force only to be simply stopped by Haxorus who retaliated with a Dragon Claw, sending his opponent flying. ****************************************** Forest gate group Alvin decided not to struggle when Claude and Henry carried him. His legs were still a bit shaky causing him to wobble every now and then. He only reacted when Danielle suggested examining him. “How can you examine me? Are your parents doctors and did they teach you?” he asked very seriously. He was still confused when she came at him with a feather, causing him to sneeze. “What the hell are you doing?” Meanwhile Lana was walking at the back of the group. She was still trying to figure out a way to introduce herself without being rude and interrupt everyone. When Claude asked her in which program she was, he had to listen very carefully. “I-I’m trying to become a Breeder that specializes in ground types,” her voice was very quiet and shy. ************************************** Contest Hall group Professor Redwood chuckled a bit when one of the three rebels yelled his question through the entire Hall and was immediately followed by another one. “Ok, I’ll first answer the question about what you can buy with these battle points. It’s simple; in the store that will open up you can find also find clothes and everything related to Pokémon. This includes food, poffin ingredients, Pokéballs, and some other things.” He paused for a moment before looking in Ryan’s direction. “During the year we’ll be holding three tournaments. The first one is the Winter Cup. It’s battle tournament with a knock-out system. You’ll be facing opponents from the same year from all three different programs. Participation isn’t mandatory but is of your own free will. Further down the road there are two others tournaments; one if for Coordinators only to show what they learned during the year. They will be facing their classmates only and can decide if they want to participate or not. The other tournament is a Battle tournament. Breeders and Trainers will face off against each other. This one works the same as the others: knock-out system and students are free to decide if they want to participate or not.” Redwood paused again, this time a little longer. “There is only one catch: you have to offer up battle points. You’ll be informed how many exactly a week before the tournament starts. The winner gets all battle points.” Redwood could feel some students getting excited already. “Oh, before I forget: next year you’ll start with the amount of points you had when you ended your first…” He took a sip of his water again to let students get used to the idea. In the meantime Phoebe walked on stage, whispered something in his ear, and left again. “Well, it looks like professor Cadmus is being held up, so I’ll have to talk about Dragon types. I usually let him do it because he’s an expert and in my experience it helps calm down the parents.” He chuckled a little. He knew there were a lot of students excited to get their hands on a Dragon Pokémon. “Now as you may know; starting from the second year you can start specializing in certain types. However dragon type class starts from the first year and is mandatory. Professor Cadmus will teach you everything you have to know about them, but since we believe you’ll get more insight and experience from seeing them in their natural habitat, we planned an excursion six weeks from now. You, and by that I mean the parents here, may think that’s too soon. I say not. We believe it is in the students’ best interest to face them early in their journey as a trainer. In six weeks professor Cadmus has enough time to teach them what they need to know in order to have a safe excursion. During this trip the students will be guided by reliable professionals in order to keep them safe. Students will also have the option to catch a dragon type if they desire so we can guide them. This isn’t only a safe way but by the time our students graduate; they have three years’ experience in how to handle a dragon type and keep it under control.” “Are there any more questions?”
  6. I'll wait for Snap to vote for RoG members. Btw I'm pairing Zeke/Melody in RoG.
  7. Yes it exist. You need to go to the Lab for it. Slade probably won't make it, but he's with Devin. No problems there.
  8. Sigurd was lying on the ground, still coughing. That damn god and his little tricks…Now he knew they were dealing with the real deal and he was impressed, but at the same time it made him angry. If Bartimis threw him through a wall or even stabbed him; he would have more respect for the god’s battle skills. But this way felt a little cheap and dirty and he just couldn't understand those ways. By now Sigurd knew it was best for him to shut up, but he wanted to know where that shard was. He only heard half the riddle, not that he would solve it otherwise, and he had no idea what Bartimis meant with it. “Damn –cough- where shard –cough- trick –cough cough,” was all he managed to blur out.
  9. I'll PM you about that. I don't want the others to know just yet, but so far you don't need to catch up with everything.
  10. RoG members After your battles are finished, I'm going to do a small timeskip. Next day would be training your body, but I don't see the point in doing a full fitness program in here. What I do want to know is which way you want to go: A: A sort of capture the flag (teamwork, includes battles) B: Skip that one as well and go for the first mission (includes introducing Stratos' character)
  11. EXLink While Flare and Slade were playing Phantump-bowling, the Trevenant’s managed to surround Haxorus. The dragon eyed his opponents carefully looking for a way to reach their boss and finish things, but there wasn’t any opening. Devin noticed the same problem. “Easy, partner, don’t waste your strength on them. We’ll finish this in one attack,” was all he said before using his fingers as a whistle. A buzzing sound could be heard as a green blur dived straight into the pack of Trevenant. A small path opened up giving Haxorus the opportunity to reach his opponent in the blink of eye. ********************************** Forest gate group Alvin was laying spread out in the grass, trying to catch a breath. He didn’t even have the energy left to react to Claude. Lana on the other hand tried to keep her presence as small as possible. She was faced with getting to know three more people, but didn’t know how to handle it. Instead she looked on her watch and grasped for air. “Uhm… We’re already too late for Redwood’s speech. It’s 6.05.” ********************************* Contest Hall group Professor Redwood entered the stage with a warm welcoming smile. He opened his arms like he wanted to hug his everyone in his audience all at once, included the three rebels that chose to walk up the stairs to find a seat. “Welcome to the Ymora Academy! I’m professor Redwood and I suggest you take a good look through the audience. The students you see around you are those you will be sharing this experience with for 3 years! So get acquainted, battle and strive to be the best you can be!” he paused for a moment, looking through the audience himself. “This welcoming speech is for first years, and their families, only. I will be answering the question everyone has about Dragon Pokémon as well as introducing how our system works.” Redwood took the microphone out of the holder and started to walk around the stage. “I’ll explain our system first. Some of you might have noticed that your Pokédex has a little extra: the battle point system. I’ve developed this little system myself. As some of you may know, especially the parents, people used to travel around at a young age. Many bought food and water along the way along with clothes or something simple as a train ticket. Now where did these trainers get their money?” Redwood paused for a moment to let the students think. “From home? A job along the way? Correct. There were also other ways and one of them was to battle others. Two trainers met, decided they wanted to battle and put something on the line. The easiest thing was money, especially for those trainers that were in need to buy food and such. But like with many things, people started to be dishonest. I’ve seen many conflicts, so I developed a new system to teach students about the importance of money and spent it wisely and at the same time to promote sportsmanship: the battle point system.” This time he took a sip from his water before continuing. “It’s easy. To start up your personal system you have to activate your student ID in your Pokédex. This will automatically activate your personal page. Every student starts with 100 points. You can gain points by keeping your grades up, by winning a battle or by winning one of the schools tournaments. This also means you’ll lose points if you don’t put in any effort in your schoolwork, lose a battle or are knocked-out of a tournament. Keep in mind that if you want a friendly match, you don’t have to bet any points. If you do want to bet points; go to your personal page and link your Pokédex with your opponent. Then select the amount. It’s as easy as that. Every time you will know beforehand how many points exactly you are putting on the line. And best of all: you can’t cheat the system so you have to be responsible.” Redwood smiled again after that remark. “Now, you’ll probably want to know what you can do with these points. Well, starting tomorrow, food and drinks all have a point value. If you buy food in the cafeteria, you’ll have to pay for it by using your student ID. For those students that rather cook for themselves; next to the cafeteria is a store that will open up. It works the same way. Now before I start talking about Dragon types, are there any questions?”
  12. 1 ability, und zwei: you didn't overdo it so I allow it. I just didn't want people put in coverage moves and EQ and stuff. Go ahead. @Whoever asked something about Litwick: Easy to find at night. Don't follow the lights Extra remarks: Class starts at 8.30 and yes, timezone is a bitch. Plus I've been busy with a workshop lately that takes all day to find a job. Today was the last day so updates should go out more often.
  13. Alvin’s pursuers Alvin ran and ran and ran. He had never been this scared before that his heart almost popped out of his chest. He had no idea where he was supposed to go; he didn’t even notice that he passed his roommate. He stopped for a second looking around and when he stepped back, he fell flat on his back. EXLink Devin nodded in appreciating Slade finally faced his troubles head on. He hoped the boy would learn something from this experience. He watched Flare going all out with super effective attacks. “Back them up,” was all he said to get his Haxorus into action. The dragon loosened his muscles and gathered power in its legs and arms. It looked a bit like a dance, before its claw took on a purple glow. Meanwhile the white Trevenant disappeared and appeared again, almost immediately, next to Flare. The Phantom Force attack was about to hit the Growlithe dead on when it was stopped mid-attack by Haxorus. The Dragon slashed, hitting Trevenant back a few meters. The other Trevenant and even some brave Phantump started gathering again; ready to attack Flare and Slade.
  14. This one is a bit extreme but he's got Devin with him so that counters it easily. I would but I assumed both of you were going to the Contest Hall.
  15. I'm not sure how Stratos will react to that last post... And you will be too late to help anyway. I planned for the Trevenant to kidnap someone (Alvin) after the Contest Hall, but it turned out to be a great opportunity for Slade. I won't let anyone interfere with things like that as I plan to do things like that for everyone.
  16. He's panicking so it's random. Luckily for you all he's more or less heading towards the exit. You have first move. Devin told Slade to show him what he learned.
  17. We started 6 days ago... And I can't just move on without finishing other PC's storyline. And there are 14 (?) students, all with a different schedule so it's normal it takes some time. Plus I barely even used my PC so far so I won't slow things down too much. @Zephyr: It's not really competitive battling. Battles take a much more realistic approach (like what happened with the Ariados) and some tactics that are used in competitive (entry hazards, weather teams) are used by others.
  18. “Good you’re all on time!” Teach yelled a few seconds after Brian, Ezekiel and Aurelia entered the empty space. The door slammed shut behind them. “Time is essential in missions, for those that are too late, punishment shall be given. And believe me, you don’t want to be punished” He hissed that last word and started walking to his left, looking each recruit in the eyes. “Your training began the moment you stepped inside whatever transport vehicle that brought you here. We’ve monitored your every move since you came here. One of you already dropped out…” he let his announcement sink in for a few moments and looked Brian in the eyes. “That person was a useless rat anyway…” He turned around and started walking into the opposite direction. “If you survive my training, each and every one of you will be able to go on missions. Drop-outs receive another job, so if you can’t handle it anymore, feel free to tell me,” his face showed a creepy smirk. Obviously dropping out wasn’t an option anymore at this point. “So without wasting my time any further, I’ll explain how things work. We don’t only train Pokémon to help with missions; we train our soldiers as well. And I believe in experience makes better practice, so be prepared at any time. But for now we shall start with your skills as a trainer. Find someone to battle and get one of the five people behind me to evaluate your skills. Only 5 battles at a time, if you start one without a supervisor, you’re out!” The recruits immediately took action and started to pair up. Some went for a bunkmate, while others decided to go for the person next to them. ((You can fight each other or a random RoG member. If all of you decide to fight a random, feel free to control your opponent. At this stage everyone is around the same level))
  19. Lana (NPC) (Dobby and DarkLight) Lana wasn’t sure what to do. She knew Devin could handle the situation, but when she saw her roommate run off she automatically responded by running after her. A little while later she saw Cottonee marking a location. “I’m sure Avis is alright! Devin must be there already, I can see his Flygon circling around Doux!” EXLink and Bfroger Devin decided to follow his instincts and trust in the directions of the Murkrow, when a few minutes later a Cottonee started to swell up. “It’s one strange this happening after another, but I guess that Cottonee is marking the place. My Flygon is there too,” he thanked the Murkrow by sliding his finger over the feathers and took off. Meanwhile the White Trevenant was amused. Surely this little human and his pets didn’t think they could escape, did they? He ordered some ground types that happened to be around to put the fire out, before grabbing hold of Slade, Flare, Shiro and Shun yet again. He was about to tie them to a tree, when an intimidating voice spoke up. “So it was you after all, Rookie?” Devin asked, popping out of the tree line, followed by his Haxorus. The Trevenant showed his evil grin once more before taking an offensive stance in front of the Haxorus. The rest of the group moved back a little, trying to make some space for their leader. Rookie eyed Haxorus and moved in closer, when the latter seemed to vanish and popped up next to Slade, cutting him loose. Alvin (NPC) (EXLink, Dobby, DarkLight and Bfroger) Alvin woke up just in time to see that he was surrounded by wild Trevenant. He yelled for help, drawing all the attention towards him and sprinted away. One of the Trevenant was about to go after him, when he was stopped by Rookie’s orders. They all moved and formed a circle, trapping both Slade and Devin. Meanwhile Danielle and her group knew they were getting close when she was greeted by Avis. The bird flapped wildly with its wings like it wanted to say where Devin was. They reached the group right on time to see Alvin flee and Slade being surrounded. Devin sighed when he spotted the little group. Did this year students never listen? “You three, go after the one that ran away and get him out of the forest! Now!” Devin ordered. “And take this one with you,” he said, opening a path for Shiro before turning his attention back to the group of Trevenant. “Slade, show me what you learned by causing that fire earlier. Show me that you’ll stop running away from your problems.”
  20. They will be late, but I'm not sure if I'm going to give out punishment. I kinda want to go to day 2.
  21. Btw Can't Type: I just saw your last post: don't bunny Tyron. I moved enough people to the contest hall to talk to while I finish up the interaction with the others. I will tell when someone can bunny one of the NPC's and that's only when they follow.
  22. That Trevenant is level 70+. You didn't escape, but this doesn't change anything I had planned. Well, you can't keep it. You just pissed off a very angry mother Pokémon. Absol: Forest by nighttime. There aren't that many of them, but they kinda run around through the entire region. (And yes, you'll be able to enter the forest at night) Torchic: East side of the forest. Marill: Forest. Find Lapras. Turtwig: Forest.
  23. I'm not stopping you, just saying I had to fit in a lot of Pokémon so it's really big. I'm curious to see how exactly you will use that Cottonee. I guess I'll see it tomorrow.
