    Unless Avis will fly high to lead Devin there is no way any of you can find Shun or Slade. I think people are underestimating just how big this forest is...

    So she's in the forest right now? Or is she about to go? I kinda wanted to sent Phoebe in so she could make an apple joke when she saw Slade hanging there...

    Notus and Stratos Phoebe was about to introduce herself when Mareek showed up. “Aha! If it isn’t firekid’s roommate! Got your Scyther burned during the action?” She teased Mareek. “Well, there is a medical center on the fourth floor of the main building,” she said, taking a slightly more serious tone. “But I’m pretty sure it would be faster now if you just used the healing machine in the Contest Hall. Tyron should’ve moved it to the entrance…” “And to answer your questions, mister admirer, I’m Phoebe and I’m a teacher here. I’m also a water type expert and my sister is the current water type gym leader,” she said with a big grin. “But I’m much stronger!” This time she gave Colin the V-sign. ********* Meanwhile Devin was walking deeper and deeper inside the forest with his Haxorus, when a Murkrow showed up. The little black crow landed on his shoulder, like it was used to humans. This couldn’t be a coincidence. “What’s wrong?” he asked. ********* At the same time people started to assemble at the Contest Hall. The huge doors were open and a Healing Machine was posted outside. Some trainers were waiting in a small row to make use of it. The building itself was built in an octagon. Eights massive white pillars supported a massive dark blue roof. The doors also shared the same color. Inside was a small entry room with a red and golden carpet. The brown doors leading to the main stage were open and showed a first glimpse. There was also a possibility to go left or right, both openings lead to even more doors and enabled swifter movement to the places on the outside. Next to both openings were staircases leading to the upper level. The hall itself was decorated with paintings of coordinators and their Pokémon. A carpet with the same colors as the one in the entry area was lying between the rows of comfortable, leather seats and the stage was covered by massive golden curtains. The audience was separated into three main areas and multiple doors gave access to the main room. The upstairs seemed to be closed for now.

    You can reply, just hold off with the Avis part for a moment. I need the Murkrow to lead Devin. @Dobby: Alvin is supposed to annoy. I'm not really sure if he'll grow soon though since he's not an important character. You should get to know Lana though (all of you should)

    Nope, I just didn't get to that point yet. I was planning to update everyone and while I was working on Stratos and Notus, all the rest started to ninja me (Your group + Shun), so I decided to go ahead with that post. In my next update I'll talk about Devin and Avis. (Devin is already inside the forest after answering commander's pc)

    You actually like Alvin deep down, don't you? Shun can't escape without the help of Devin. That Trevenant is way too OP.

    Dobby and DarkLight “You don’t know Devin’s reputation, do you?” Lana asked Danielle. “He’s the strongest elite four member around, his Haxorus alone can pretty much handle all our Pokémon at the same time. But if you want to follow, I guess I’ll go with you…” She didn’t wait for a respond as she first wanted to clear something. Unfortunately for her she was always nervous and shy around new people. Danielle seemed to be an exception as she already felt comfortable talking to her. “Claude was it? Uhm… did Rhy do something to you?” she asked, shifting her feet. EXLink32 The Phantump completely ignored Slade’s strange request. Human souls didn’t sound very tasty so they waited a bit longer. A few minutes later Slade heard some more rustling, but this time louder and heavier; a bunch of Trevenant. The Phantump reacted excited at the sight of the leader. It was a big, white Trevenant that seemed to carry something. The Rookie looked at Slade with a mischievous grin before tossing what he carried on the ground. Alvin was still sounding asleep. The poor bug trainer didn’t feel like having human company after the fight with his roommate and wanted to be alone in nature. At the time he thought entering a big forest would be a great idea. He ignored a little group where two teachers seemed to be in discussion and used the shadow of the dorm building to move closer to the forest. He was pretty sure the teachers would stop him if they spotted him, so he ran as fast as he could while keeping his body as close to the ground as possible. His plan worked since no one spotted him, but unfortunately he tripped before reaching the gate. He looked down to see a big root lying there, before a green powder put him to sleep. While the group was discussion what to do, Alvin slept like a log. Only when Devin entered the forest and no one paid any more attention to the forest, the roots came in action and rolled the sleeping boy slowly over the torn gate. And now Alvin was lying on the ground, about to wake up. The White Trevenant watched his trophies once more with a satisfied look on his face, when he noticed the Ralts was up to something. He quickly went over and stared it right in the face.

    Ohmygawd I'm getting ninja'd all over the place while writing updates.

    I can also go with Commander's idea and let Devin / Redwood say it's a female if you want. I'm getting there. In my previous update I said I was waiting a bit to see some more choices. Plus I was kinda busy last hour so I couldn't get to it.

    There are a few healing spots on campus. On the 4th floor of the main building is a center, in the Contest Hall, Training Facility and Arena are healing machines, professor Redwood has a healing machine in his lab. I might place one later in the dorms if necessary.

    Notus Evan followed Colin and Blastoise, curious as to where to water type would lead them. Blastoise looked over his shoulder to be sure they were still with him when he left the dorms. “There you are,” Phoebe said. “I was wondering when you were coming,” she said before walking towards the Contest Hall. EXLink Slade’s decision to not burn himself a way out there was the right one, but not for the reason he assumed. However the ralts he was talking to, didn’t seem to react. Chances were it didn’t even know teleport. Suddenly he could something rustle in the bushes behind him. An entire group of Phantump came out and started to circle around him. ((Contest Hall update is coming. I still want to see some decisions others make))

    I never said you couldn't wake up... And I never said certain students can't disobey and still go to the forest... Phoebe won't keep a close eye on everyone.

    Commander Devin turned around when he heard the question. He thought for a moment, thinking carefully as to what he should reply. “Balance,” he said. “I found the right balance between authority and being their friend.”

    Oops xD Sometimes I refer to him as Drake in my head so it might type it sometimes. Btw Drake is his nickname that he doesn't like.

    Notus Evan shrugged. “I have no idea. She did my registration and I believe her name was Phoebe…” There it turned around to face the students. “Blastoise Blaast,” was all it said before descending the stairs. Devin’s group + Dobby Claude left the dorm and immediately spotted a large group that was gathered. From his point of view it seemed like two of them were fighting while some others left, but what the one that drew his attention the most was Danielle. Considering the confrontation with his roommate, he could use a friend so he decided to walk over. He arrived just in time to see Devin go after two students that left, grabbed them by the collar, and pulled them back. “You actually think I’ll let you go in that forest now? You’re still new so you don’t know how dangerous that forest is and you’ll probably get lost. Leave Slade and the missing Pokémon, Ralts was it, to me,” the intimidating dragon tamer said. “The rest of you can follow your fellow students towards the Contest Hall.” With that said he nodded to Mareek in order to thank him for the information and released two of his most famous Pokémon: Haxorus and Flygon. “Listen up, a student, his Growlithe and a Ralts are missing. We know the Ralts entered the forest and the student found most likely a way in as well. You know what to do.” After that little speech Flygon immediately took off and scanned the forest through the sky, while Haxorus and Devin marched towards the gate. The students couldn’t see it all to clear, but Devin saw the gate was forced and the lock broken. “This isn’t the work of a first year,” Devin said. “Looks like the Rookie is on the move…” With little time to spare, Haxorus demolished the gate into rubble.

    After a bit of small talk and getting to know their new partners and roommates, the two hours of rest passed by quickly. “GET UP!” a loud voice coming from the hall yelled. He repeated the same thing over and over again while smashing on the door’s, almost breaking them. “Y’ALL GOT FIVE MINUTES TO GO LEVEL 04. FOR THE NEWBIES: YOU ENTERED AT LEVEL 01 AND YOU’RE CURRENTLY AT 02.” Most recruits left immediately. Some waited on the elevator, others choose the stairs. Level 04 seemed to be the highest level a recruit could access. It was a somber, open level. There was literally nothing but a blank space with 3 single doors. One was to the left, another one to the right and the last one was behind Teach. The instructor was waiting with 5 other RoG members at the end of the sober grey space. All 5 of them had papers in their hands. Behind them, on both sides of the door, was something that looked like black glass. It was impossible to see through, but probably had a clear view from the other side. The recruits that arrived first said nothing while Teach kept a close eye on his watch.

    Dobby Alvin sighed. Of course his roommate was one of those types that didn’t know the full beauty and power of bug Pokémon. He didn’t even bother listening to Claude’s useless rant. The two were on a completely different page. Alvin only reacted when Claude ordered Doux to clear the room. “NOOOOOO! All my hard work! What do you think you’re doing?” he asked angry. “You say I show no consideration, yet you’re the one throwing my hard work and Queen’s (Combee’s nickname) nest out of the window!” he started to breathe heavily and continued. “Speaking of consideration; it got nothing to do with getting my license. I train Pokémon, not humans. You don’t seem to understand that. You are blind. You will never see the beauty and power Bug types hold! And you will never understand how to bring out that power to the fullest!” Alvin’s face was red by the time he finished. He was still heavily breathing and looked like he wanted to start a fight, but in the end he stormed out, slamming the door shut behind Queen and him.

    I was waiting to give Commander a chance to reply before Devin splits them apart. No he isn't? Pseudo's have base stats equal to 600, Volcarona is 550.

    It's rare, yes, but not a pseudo so it's obtainable. Don't forget Ymora is the breeder region so someone is bound to breed Larvesta's. There might be some in the Academy forest (since it's human altered and some extra species were added), or you can get one during one of the trips.
