The ledges and small trees that you can't climb or go around. But kudos to them for finally making the small trees turn into prickly thorn bushes xD Now it makes more sense that you'd need to cut them

Helix Cult is on 7th street, I think you have a rather long way to go until then. Helix Fossil can be mined , like most other fossils, heart scales, evolutionary stones (can't mine dusk, dawn, shiny stone) , revives, max revives and other stuff

Does Fern Redeem Himself? Possible Spoilers
Masquerain replied to EluriaMendes's topic in Reborn City
I half foresee Saphira causing her own death due to a fatal mistake -
IF you have enough patience to flip voltorbs for 10k coins, you can get a trapinch which learns earthquake rather early on You can mine a fire stone, or find one in the volcano
-
Oooh, thanks a lot.. damnit, why did I reset that mining rock with the fossil
-
Really? O.o how? Only thing I could do is say "yes" to joining the Helix cult

I do strongly believe one day we will be facing Pulse-Hydreigon and Lin But given Meteor's goals, it's also a good possibility that they aim to unleash Arceus and pulse it in order to destroy the world, so they can rebuild it anew without the "filth" ...but ofc something might backfire at them

Wow, sounds like you really have some bad memories with Luna xD I think Noel and Serra were my nightmare back then, especially Noel and his OP team xD
-
Wow, Fern sure gets a lot of hate and death threats XD Personally, I simply recognize him as a complete asshole, but in the end, he fits the stereotype and has yet to do anything truly irredeemable, like murder or something (that might change though, joining the bad guys doesn't help his case). I certainly don't think 1 good deed would justify all his assholery up till now though

I'm just going to write this with pre-nerfed gym leaders in mind because post-nerf, on my 2nd playthrough, none of them really presented much of a challenge to me except the usual one - Charlotte. That being said, Charlotte was probably the hardest gym leader for me in both of my playthroughs. Her field is just seriously OP and complements her team all too well x_x I really couldn't win without Light Screen :I Back in the day, Serra and Noel were a nightmare to me (pre-nerf) , until I got to Charlotte of course. Aaand for the easiest ...wellp. Probably Julia. I think most people won't have much trouble against her unless they decided that it's a wise idea to travel with a single pokemon only. Overall, probably Kiki and Julia and Florinia are among the easier ones

Is there anything you can do with that cult ? Would be cool if you could join a cult this time and have a little cult squabble xD
-
Welcome and enjoy your stay! I had to face THAT Charlotte too XD..the horror
-
It's scary how that is actually plausible :I But well, they experiment with different pokemon, maybe off-screen they have attempted to Pulse stronger pokemon before and failed..and if they wanted, they have Lin's hydreigon , they could easily Pulse it, unless of course there's a reason to not be able to.. But yeah, if ever we see a pseudo-legend or legend in a pulse, there will be consequences of global magnitude..which might be their goal in the long run, since they want to destroy the world and make it be reborn anew

Absoooool and many dark types ._.

I want to see a grass type Elite 4 , electric, flying type ,as well as a fairy one. I mean, we've had our fair share of grass, electric and flying gym leaders, but never an elite 4. Fairy got its gym already, so it could also get an E4 All in all, I'd like to see E4 types that haven't been widely used in previous generations .. like ground, normal, water, bug, steel... poison.. even rock. Iirc the most widely used types for the E4 are dragon, ice, fighting, dark, psychic, ghost <- tbh, I'd be happy with any type that isn't one of these but I would like to finally see a damned dark gym

The Bug/Poison assassin makes his appearance!

-the dragalge fanclub passes you by- that's a shame, but at least you appreciate it as a pokemon! -
My first pokemon experience was watching it on TV, in german, not understanding anything but really liking the series I first started playing when I was 8 or 9 , after my parents gifted me a gameboy color with pokemon crystal. I had no clue what a pokemon game was like as I had never played an RPG before , let alone a pokemon one. I didn't know it at the time, but apparently my cartridge had been a pirated vietnamese crystal version, which basically meant it had broken words and broken english and bugged in various places (youtube vietnamese crystal for reference) And so, my pokemon adventure began with a broken english crystal version ( funny enough, I started the series with the johto saga as well) . I really didn't know what anything was, thus I ended up spending an entire hour not knowing how the flying fridge to leave my room :I funtimes, funtimes . After a very lucky accident, I somehow ended up walking into the right tile and descended the stairs! Woo! My next ordeal happened when due to broken english, I didn't know what the fridge I was supposed to do and spent another few hours wandering around new bark town, not knowing that I could get my own pokemon even... You can't imagine my excitement when I finally discovered that I had to actually pick one of the pokeballs on the table o3o and at least obtained my 1st pokemon- cyndaquil. The story went on with the next trial. Yes, I viewed the explanation on how to catch pokemon, but at the time, I didn't understand that it was a demonstration and wondered why I couldn't catch any pokemon I wanted. Eventually after randomly clicking around the bag (after getting pokeballs), I caught my first pokemon- a sentret! From there my entire experience with the game was exciting to the point of staying up until 3am at night with a small light, trying to find and catch a hoothoot and a growlithe. I had enough times where I got stuck because the text was full of ?????????!!!!XXXXX due to the pirated version, and at certain points of the game, everything just glitched , forcing me to restart from my last save everytime. I swear, that was a challenge of its own. For example, when facing a certain trainer in the sea en route to whirl islands, that trainer's starmie or staryu would always glitch the game after using x move at y turn. Another example is when fighting Pryce, the game would always freeze and glitch when either of his seel or dewgong used aurora beam in a specific turn or order. I had to not only beat Pryce, but also develop a strategy to prevent his pokemon from using that game-freezing move at the right time :I It was really frustrating but I managed. Another instance of that was Red's snorlax, which was the most annoying part of all. I remember everything was so new to me and I had so little clue what was going on that I somehow ended up with a lv93 Typhlosion by the time I reached the powerplant part of Kanto ... and then I spent many hours trying to figure out how to find the missing part and where to even go after that o3o Yeah, it was a really unforgettable experience and If I could go back and replay the game with the same feeling as back then, I'd be so happy.

What Type Would You Use if You Were a Gym Leader?
Masquerain replied to EluriaMendes's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I would most probably use dark types Honchkrow Weavile Absol (mega) Drapion Greninja Umbreon I'm a strong believer of Karen's words : "Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites" -
Sadly, I have no skills to help with this, but I love MD games so I'd love to see this realized and play it
-
Can't call it a favorite word, but I somehow end up using 'dood' a lot lately o_o

Pokemon cannot exist in our world, ever. Why? Because humanity as we know it nowadays is a pile of toxic waste. If we ignore the fact that many pokemon can murder a person and destroy entire cities with their natural powers, they simply cannot exist because if they did, they'd be nothing but tools of war , enslaved and treated like dirt. That's just how the real world works.
