  1. Question: Do any of the vendors sell heart scales?
  2. I am thinking of adding Darumaka to my team. However when I go to the Apophyll Academy, the girl who trades it is not there. Is there any other way to get darumaka aside for this trade?
  3. I have been gathering the department stickers. However I am stuck on the one with the guy stuck underground. He is not in the area he should be trapped in. Is there a particular reason why? For background, I am currently in episode 16 and done the raid on Devon.
  4. So I have a question about the weather. Is it still possible to change what weather it is by changing your computers date/time? I ask because no matter what date/time I change it to, the weather pattern is still the same. Am I missing something or does the game know what day it actually is now?
  5. Oh! Gotcha, I probably misread xD. THat would help, but how would the trade work exactly?
  6. Scrafty would be pretty good. Intimidate plus strong fighting stab would be very good here. So I'll probably put him on. Wait magneton has to be traded to evolve? I thought it was the locked room in the powerplant? Your ground type advice is good. I'm torn between Diggerby, krook, and flygon. Krook and Diggersby have power. But flygon offers an immunity to both ground and a resistance to rock. Plus flygon would be good at helping with the dragon problem you pointed out as well. Guess i'll have to figure something out. Thank you both for the advice!
  7. A little back story: The first time I played reborn was back in 2013. Right when episode 10 was a thing. My team was ok, it had a difficult time but in the end it managed to pull through. However if it wasn't for the change in Serra's team in episode eleven, I would have never gotten past her. Something that irked me and the victory against episode 11 Serra didn't feel satisfying. But I did not think too much of it and went on playing until sometime before Terra. Where due to a computer change, my old save was left behind. Then life took over and I kind of forgot about reborn. Until recently that it is. I had stumbled upon a fanfiction by the name of Rippling Eclipse and it reminded me of Reborn. I remembered enjoying the game. So I figured "Eh, I'll give it a go again." However insttead of starting at the most recent episode, I'll start with the version I originally started with and then update to episode 16 when I beat Serra. That way I could ease myself into the newest episode. Plus there was a score to Settle with Episode 10 Serra. Weeks were spent on her. Each time ended up in defeat. SO I kind of wanted the satisfaction in beating her when she gave me so much difficulty. With that in mind, I decided to go with a Sun team. Not only to counteract her hail, but to also burn her entire team to the ground. Without further ado, here's the team: Charizard lvl 47 Timid Nature @Solar Power -Flamethrower -Air Slash -Flame Burst -Rock Smash I decided to go with charizard. Under sun, Zard hits like a truck. Ingame few things are able to take a hit from her when the sun is up. While she isn't the strongest mon, she manages to hold her own just fine when she comes out. Flamethrower and Air Slash are for stab. Rock Smash is so I don't need to use a team slot on an HM user. Flane burst is both a place holder and a back up just incase Flamethrower runs out of pp. Ninetails lvl 49 Rash Nature @Drought -Flamethrower -Hex -Extrasensory -Will-O-Wisp The sun bringer. While she isn't the most powerful mon, drought makes up for it. Sun boosted flamethrowers will do a nice chunk of damage. Will O wisp is for crippling and pairing with hex. Hex and Extrasensory are for coverage. Thanks to her and Zard, Serra was able to be taken down. All in all, she really helps to bring the team together. She is a big help in any battle she takes part in. Crobat lvl 47 Hasty Nature @Infiltrator -Wing Attack -Confuse Ray -Poison Fang -Acrrobatics Crobat puts in work. This guy has managed to hold his own against most of the gym leaders. Taking out atleast oe of their mons. Acrobatics is the main stab of choice. COnfuse ray and poison fang are for crippling and wing attack is back up flying stab. Magneton lvl 48 Rash Nature @Sturdy -Thunder Wave -Flash Cannon -Charge Beam -Electro Ball The teams go to bulk. Thanks to sturdy, magneton is able to tank at least one hit and either attack back or paralyze the opponent. Which was a big help against those battles that your opponents are 20 levels higher. Flash cannon and charge beam are the main stab moves. Electro ball is there as back up. For whatever reason he would not evolve in the abandoned power plant. So he's sort of stuck as a magneton for now. Grumpig lvl 50 Modest Nature @Own Tempo -Psyshock -Confuse Ray -Grass Knot -Power Gem Grumpig was picked over Garde because in episode 10 she was the more bulky psychic type. Her bulk and coverage really help the team out. Thanks to her coverage, she can hit most mons neutrally. All in all, she is a solid member that puts in work. Persian lvl 40 Naughty Nature @Technician -Fake Out -Cut -Swift -Bite As the game has gone on, persian has fallen from grace. Technician boosted fake out and bite are amazing. This guy managed to bite flinch Fern's ludicolo to death one battle. It was beautiful. My main issue with persian is that he does not help the team out defensively bar flinching opponents. As his coverage is currently bare bones. But he puts in work when needed. So that's good atleast. Now I need some help with this team. I have a big weakness to ground and rock. Since I just updated to episode 16, any suggestions are appreciated. For I have no idea what mons are available that could both help counter that weakness, and synergize with the sun team theme I have going. Any thoughts?
  8. Why does kabutops even need Huge Power in the first place? Why not give it technichan so it can abuse aqua jet, rapid spin, and rock tomb more effectively?
  9. ^ Thank you gutten_tag for the points about why some people ev train/iv breed. Anyway, the only poke I have ev trained so far is my Archeops as I wanted to be able to outspeed/do as much damage as possible. Would I ev train anything else? Doubtful as I don't have the time for it.
  10. Contrary shuckle. Once it get's off a shell smash it takes so much to kill it. Also add in how it always has infestation and toxic and you have a major annoyance. Also not a fan of ludicolo. My reason for my hate of it began years ago when I was still a novice in pokemon and was playing wifi battles in Pokemon Battle Revolution. I get set up against an opponent that has a ludicolo. I thought it would be an easy victory and I was horribly mistaken. As, long story short, the guy swept my team with a ludicolo. Also add in the frustration that Mirror B gave me, and you have a grudge that still has yet to let up to this day.
  11. Is there no pokemon for Naruto or am I reading it wrong?
  12. I'm questioning why you would change it's typing to pure dark and are not just keeping it water and dark. Especially since a 150 waterfall is nothing to take lightly (going by yout mega stats here).
  13. Use tyrantrum/Aurorus! Because I think right before Luna it becomes available.
  14. I am honestly amazed that someone dedicated such time to this game in order to gain the best pokemon they could. As well as sharing their file with the other members of the community. You are just way to kind good sir. I hope your marriage and child have wonderful results.
  15. That's actually a nifty idea for bastiodon, though I am curious as to why you got rid of the steel typing instead of the rock. Since it would not only have more resistances (i might be wrong here but I know that water wouldn't be super effective on it) and an immunity, but it also makes a smidge more sense due to the fact that hammers and shields are normally shown as being made of metal rather than crafted from stone. Also I think hammer works fine for a name (Ram would also work, but it dosen't seem like it would fit with shield IMO) and it makes me wonder how this thing would look. Yep because when I checked on the damage from a flygon it was OHKO'd. It unfortunatley does not get mean look. And while wrap is a good move, ghost types are immune to it meaning that they are unable to be trapped in.
  16. I did calcs on this. Cause wynaunt? 252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham Drain Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arbok: 117-138 (36.1 - 42.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO 252 Atk Adaptability Mega Lucario Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arbok: 162-192 (50 - 59.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Arbok: 91-108 (28 - 33.3%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO 252 SpA Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Arbok: 130-154 (40.1 - 47.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO 252 SpA Mega Gardevoir Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Arbok: 175-207 (54 - 63.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Now if only it got infestation via tm. A nice way to keep everything in due to nothing being immune to bug (to my knowledge). Anyway, why not Mega Eelektross? Old Stats: 85 115 80 105 80 50 New Stats: 85 135 110 125 110 20 Ability: Levitate The problem with eelektross is it seems like it would be a bulky electric type, yet it is not. So to try and rectify this I gave it plus 30 in each defence and lowered its speed. That way it's bulky enough to take hits, but will not be shuckle bulky. I lowered the speed so it would work better in trick room than it does now and let it keep levitate as it works well enough for it now.
  17. Wait so my theory about the sheer thought of the Hoenn remakes being confirmed killing the site, was NOT correct? I was so sure it was that. Anyway. Someone said it before, but can the protags get a hammer of their own?
  18. Dunsparce just needs boosts in general. But anyway as to what you said Vinny, A dunsparce evolution would be a gradual change as opposed to this change. Like it would probably have the same abilities as dunsparce and maybe slightly weaker stats then my proposed Megasparce. But to me megasparce seems like to much of a change to be an evolution.
  19. Mega Dunsparce Type: Normal/Fairy Ability: Magic Bounce Old Stats: 100 70 70 65 65 45 New Stats: 100 90 120 45 115 25 +20 Attack +50 defence +50 Special defence -20 special attack -20 speed Out of all the pokemon out there I feel as though dunsparce is the most deserving of a Mega Evolution. I mean seriously the poor thing is ridiculed as is and has lack luster stats. So in order to fix this, I essentially gave it ferrothorns defences and speed to make it a bulky pokemon that can thrive in trick room. PLus I gave it a more usable base 90 attack to help it make use of things such as drill run and aqua tail. Factor in it's new ability of Magic Bounce and you have a wonderul support pokemon.
  20. I think it might have been a shiny gyarados in Leaf Green. I couldn't tell as I was outside and GBAs have dark screens.
  21. *Blows up the castle and builds a tiny little shack in its place* Who says you need a castle to be king?
  22. You could try what I did. With putting a pokemon with rock smash up front and lower it's defence as far as you can and then if you have a faast pokemon (preferably ev trained) keep trying to flinch it to low yellow, and then kill with a strong fighting move once the rock slider goes down.
