  1. "An important thought came across my mind," Henry mumbled. Why he was walking, a tiny Venonat came running out of bus in a panic and quickly caught up to Henry. "Heh, I kind of forgot you weren't in your ball." Henry picked the Venonat up and place her on top of his backpack. Man, she's really gained some weight. I need to make sure she lays off those berries. "You don't happen to know where to find a Drilbur, do you?" The Venonat shook her head. "I guess we'll have to ask someone. Devin and Roman seem a bit busy so who else would know..." Henry peered around a bit and noticed Lana talking to Evan. "Hey, isn't that the shy girl who wants a mono ground team? Well, I really don't think she can help us." Henry was about to look away when he realized what he just said. "I really need to get some sleep after this." Henry made his way over to Lana hoping she might be able to answer his question. His leg was hurting him no less than yesterday on the way, but he was used to the pain now and walked normally.
  2. After Henry heard what the older man said, he glared at the four other coordinators. Which one of you four is going to get trapped in a pit of raging Donphan? I'm going to place my bet and say Claude, but all of them have the capabilities to cause a storm. Henry then took his mind off the subject and enjoyed the sand. Ah, I feel a little bit more at home now. Maybe I should start a dessert theme team...nah, that'd be a little too ridiculous. As he followed the group he noticed most of the path was very hard for him to use his cane. He clipped it down onto a strap on his backpack and was careful of his movements. I'm not looking forward to the climb, but I think I'll survive.
  3. My advice is to find the fault in Robert and work from there. One example could be that he doesn't understand why Shiro wants to be friends with Henry (he probably realized Henry doesn't really like them that much by now). He could ask Henry to try to be a bit nicer, but ultimately hit a sour note with Henry and be bothered by something he says. Another could be for Robert to call out Slade's irresponsibility (similar to Henry on Kenny) and have a tiny grudge with his attitude. By the way, I'm not gonna post anything about Henry hearing the announcement. Just imagine him going through the thought processes of griping he's going to be put with a group of idiots who'll somehow find a way to almost kill him.
  4. I'm just saying just standard one attacks aren't necessarily a bad thing as their are some downsides to using combos. Having two pokemon attack one is very easy to counter as you could just have your almost fainted Pokemon take the shot (or switch one in last minute). Having a pokemon use two powerful attacks (total is 170 or greater) at once aka hyper offensive hits extremely hard but the pokemon is pretty much a piece of glass waiting to be shattered (or have to recharge).
  5. If we treat the attack as Ice/Electric, it'd pretty much do neutral damage to a majority of pokemon. Also, combining attacks means you're only focused on one Pokemon leaving the other one free to hit you with whatever they want.
  6. It's not that big of a deal tbh. If he interacted with someone, it'd be a bit different. By the way, I never did explain that it's Gypsy's job to stand guard whenever Henry is asleep (she usually just eats his supply of berries before sleeping on the job, but she tries). It's a very bad idea to try anything while he's asleep. If he didn't know something was up, he might've accidentally caught the bus on fire.
  7. Henry put the bracelet back on the Murkrow and watched it fly off. "When I heard your voices disappear, that's when I knew something was up. Back in Orre, I used to have Zuko stand guard at night just in case some thug wanted to mug me. Because of that paranoia, I always have a Pokemon ready to alert me of something. Now please let me sleep." This time Henry kept his head up to make sure Claude wouldn't try something else.
  8. Henry gave a quick laugh. "You really need to work on your element of surprise. A maneuver like that is very easy to predict and counter." Henry held a little silver bracelet up and showed it to them. "You focused your attention on me and forgot Gypsy was still out and about. I will give you praise for moving faster than I anticipated. I also assume your Murkrow would like this back."
  9. @Bfroger: You act as if Henry will have nothing he can use to stop it. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve. (many in which you won't see until year 2)
  10. I'm not sure which will terrify Claude more. A giant Tyrantrum chasing after him or Henry's Aerodactyl lifting him up into the air.
  11. "Maybe you should find a training partner so that Lancelot can duke it out with them every day. Tal kept bothering me to train her because Shiro avoided battles. You might end up losing total control of him if you keep avoiding battles entirely. I'm probably not the person to ask for help though." Henry took a big yawn after finishing. "Now that this chaos is over, I'm going to go to sleep. The next Pokemon to disturb me gets hit by Gypsy's poison powder" Henry then put his head up against the window and feel asleep.
  12. "So it's poorly behaved. You should try a reward system. Gypsy is a bit of a trouble maker, but she knows what'll happen if she tries eating all my berries again." Henry watched the Venonat slowly back away from his backpack. "Good girl." Henry pulled out a berry and gave it to the purple fuzzball.
  13. Henry was about to fall asleep when someone's screaming woke him up. He turned to see Claude struggling to control his pokemon. Henry rolled his eyes before sending out his Venonat. "Gypsy, disable." Gypsy's eyes suddenly glowed blue as well as Lancelot who seemed to stop moving. "Now get that thing back into a Poke Ball so I can get some sleep."
  14. Henry tried to keep himself awake while looking at the black folder. He slammed it together making a loud snapping sound. Dammit. Every single time it goes back to the same exact thing. Shutting the heart really does seem like the only solution to my problem. Henry tried to keep his anger to himself, but he grumbled a bit before calming down again. I promised myself not to go down the same road no matter what. I'm running out of time though. Just keep working. You'll figure something out. Henry pulled out the black folder again and began to study the works inside. He'd been up all night trying to find an answer to fight his paranoia, but nothing came to him. Zuko and Gypsy were inside the capsules, a rare scenario, because the duo could almost always be seen following Henry.
  15. "No, but I'm guessing it's shot. Sometimes it happens, but that was a rather nice and newer TV so I'm rather surprised. I guess you'll have to get a new one. The only other thing I can think of is that the fuse was blown, but I doubt it. It's not like a Magneton came in and hit it with a T-bolt. Would be an easy fix though unlike the former. If I were you, I'd be looking for Tyron to get a new one ordered ASAP. Might be a week or two before a new one arrives if they don't have spares. Now, I'll be off." Henry really wasn't in the mood to talk and hoped that was a good enough response to get Shiro to stop bugging him.
  16. After Henry got through the line, he quickly ate his food before going into the grocery to buy at boatload of berries. The cashier looked at him funny because Henry bought a ton earlier this morning, but eventually run up all the berries. Henry put all of them into his backpack before heading out of the cafeteria. He walked past Shiro who seemed to be going into the cafeteria to get food. Isn't it a little late to be getting food. Not my problem if they miss class.
  17. Ep 13 pretty much still has everything Ep 11 introduced. 10.5 is where a whole bunch of big changes happened like the infamous Serra fight. I can't remember where the link is off the top of my head, but I know you can find it.
  18. "Must've been from the bad parts then. I'm sure he was a good client because he had to have quite a bit of money to travel here." Henry took his eyes off of Raiza and towards a frustrated Litwick. So the rumors were true. I'm a bit flattered. "Seems you line is going much faster than mine. You might want to get back over there before it's too late. I should introduce you to Kenny sometime though. I'm sure your Litwick would love to meet him." I think this Litwick and I are going to get along just fine.
  19. 1) Wouldn't work irl (or very unlikely) without frying the thing 2) (gives applause) 3) Henry doesn't watch TV that much. He'll probably put it on the things to fix later list (or see if Jack the technician will fix it. I decided to give him a name.) @Zephyr: You're pretty accurate because XD is pretty much a kid friendly version of Colosseum. I do miss Skrub though. He was my favorite Cipher grunt.
  20. "I see that Litwick of yours is a curious one." Henry noticed the little creature hovering nearby. "Anyways, Orre is really only famous for their colosseums. Once in a while, big tournaments are held for huge sums of cash. I participated in one recently and won. That's how I was able to get in a school like this. Definitely more challenging than what most students here have to offer. Sorry, I was about to get carried away." Henry caught himself from rambling once again. He had a habit of teaching things to younger kids whenever he went into Justy's gym. "Orre is a dessert that is mostly filled with thugs and rogues. Not the best place to live, but it's home. It's pretty much on the opposite coast of Unova."
  21. Normally, I'd say not gonna happen, but I just want to see Henry has no soul jokes pop up when Lucifer tries anything on Henry.
  22. "So I'm not the only loner around. I've learned the hard way you really can't trust anyone. Trust me, a large handful of these students are complete idiots that you wouldn't want your secrets going out to." Henry looked over and saw what her Litwick was doing. I'm not sure if she's evil or completely naive. I may actually want to keep this one around. "So tell me, what region do you come from? I already said I was from Orre. It's is a dessert full or crime, but so few recognize the name."
  23. "Sorry about that little show." Henry finally snapped back to reality after hearing the girl's voice. "It's just that one of my biggest fears may have come true. I'm fine now." Henry looked at the girl and didn't recognize her. "I assume we've never crossed paths. I'd surely recognize someone with a very handy Pokemon like Sneasel. I'm Henry aka the infamous Orre boy. And you are?"
  24. Henry eventually glanced over to his backpack and noticed a purple fluffball messing with it. "GYPSY!" Henry closed the folder and quickly pulled the bug away from the backpack. "You never change, do you? I'm going to have to spend another good chunk BP to replenish it." Henry looked at his watch to see the time. "We have a bit of spare time so how about a quick lesson? Now...what should I do? Hmm...I don't believe I've ever done anything on stamina. Follow me." Henry used his cane to get back up and led his pokemon into a big open area. He than began lecturing again. "I'm sure the everyday trainer could tell you about stamina, or HP as they refer to it. A pokemon can only take so many hits before fainting, but most overlook an important factor. Attack moves also affect stamina. I like to think of it as a person on a track. They can go a lot farther if they walk, but get to a shorter destination faster if they sprint. Non-attack moves are walking and will let you put your guard up quicker. This is what we're going to work on today. Jogging is when you use a single attack. You can't protect as well, but you can also use one of your status moves to guard. Sprinting is when you use two attacks at once. You hit very hard, but you're pretty much defenseless then. All three have there uses, but jogging is the most reliable one. That's a useful lesson I learned from Justy." Henry hesitated for a moment before beginning his training. You know, I probably should consider giving lessons. Students would probably stop staring at me then. Nah. "Alright, Gypsy, you're going to endure a hit and use Disable afterwards, got it? I'm going to give Zuko orders so be prepared for his worst." Gypsy nodded as she hopped over to the opposite side. Zuko stood in front of Henry ready for orders. "Zuko use...use...." Henry tried yelling Ember, but the words didn't come out. What the hell? When the Hydreigon attacked, I didn't choke like this. Wait... "Zuko, Confuse Ray!" The Vulpix released a ball of light that swirled around the Venonat. The Venonat became dizzy, but was able to create a quick flash of light that made Zuko blink. "Sorry about that, but I think we're gonna end this one early. How about I get use something to eat?" Henry returned his Pokemon to their Poke Balls and began walking slowly with his cane. Why now of all times? I've never choked like that before. Henry thought to himself. He then looked down at his leg. It has to be because of this. That's the only thing that makes sense. No, I'm not afraid of being hit by the blast so what is it. Henry then recalled when Zuko almost hit Kenny with an Ember. I doubt it. I'll just worry about this later. Henry tried getting the thoughts out of his head, but they just came back stronger. As Henry went through the cafeteria, he was a bit shaky and dropped his cane by accident. He struggled to get down and pick it up, but somehow managed to get back on his feet. He then tried taking deep breaths, but nothing calmed his nerves.
