  1. Wow. Brave is one suave motherf*cker.
  2. >that feel when people that never battle are critiquing RMTs like they know something Anyway, I like the concept of the team. I'm not sure how viable the Sun/Rain thing is, especially since if your ninetales dies than everything on your team is screwed because most of your team is sun instead of balanced between sun and rain. Anyway, Max HP / Max Def Chansey walls this entire team, even venusaur. I recommend running Dugtrio in place of Tropius that way you have a better grip on the weather war and you can kill of Tyranitar a lot easier. If you want to keep tropius, I recommend swapping the purposes of Tropius and Venusaur and making Tropius Dragon Dance and Venusaur special. +1 Tropius with Life Orb can actually do quite a bit to the OU metagame. You need something to take on mamoswine. Kingdra obviously beats Mamo 1v1, but you need something to switch into mamoswine to take moves. I recommend replacing either Venusaur or Tropius with Skarmory, that way you can have more hazards and you have a physical wall on your team so stuff like Mamoswine and DD Dragonite don't completely run over your team.
  3. Flying-Fighting w/ Intimidate? ~Aura Sphere ~Air Slash ~Roost ~Rapid Spin maybe be like drifblim where it has enormous HP but meh defenses? still not sure.
  4. So yeah RP Lando takes a dump all over this team, especially since hippo isn't specially defensive. Also, Fight Gem Techniloom > all brelooms

  6. 9/10 because flaafy is a powerful threat but I don't like the art style
  7. Wow. such a garbage team and a garbage user. Okay but really, This team seems good but if you u-turn R1 your team isn't bulky enough to take hits from big threats. Use Resto Chesto Rotom, because it's a little more reliable than pain split, because one bad misplay and a poke at 5% could get a free switch-in. Also, Run Specs T-tar because in AO we're real men. :] 8.65/10
  8. Hi kids. My name is Hedron. Even though at this point most of reborn recognizes my name, I still wanted to do one of these. BACKGROUND While I'm still relatively new to reborn, I'm originally from PBC (PokeBattleCenter) and stayed there before it all went to hell. I'm a man of many names, and those people who played on PBC back in the day recognize me by Livitz or [MiS]Livitz. ABOUT ME (IRL) I'm currently 16 years old and play basketball. My life is fairly hectic because I have to keep moving around between basketball, school, and college stuff, so I'm actually not on Reborn too horribly often. My RL name is Jeremy <last name disclosed>. ABOUT ME (POKEMON) I've been involved with the competitive pokemon community for a while now, just about 2 years. I've learned from all of my losses and I've managed to make myself relatively good at almost every tier...besides OU. My favorite pokemon is Darmanitan. INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME ~I have 4 toes on 1 foot. ~I'm one of the top-ranked people in the nation in Math. ~I once killed a coyote with a slingshot. Well, not much else to say for now. Anything else you're curious about just ask me! Gotta go to school for now.
  9. Mayuri Kurotsuchi's Head thing.
  10. Me and my girlfriend after going to a basketball game. Yes, I am from kentucky. :-l
  11. How are you going to deal with Simisear? That thing poops on your team. Run Wartortle so you can counter. other than that i guess it's alright
  12. But, how will you kill it if ditto dies (which it probably will)? Based on your EVs, Mamoswine outspeeds everything on your team and OHKOes everything.
  13. Am I the only one who notices how badly this team gets pooped on by LO Mamoswine? But other than that this is a really good team :0
  14. ~The Dustbusters~ Hi kids. Hedron here bringing you a new non-OU weather team. Today we have BL sand. I recently made this team and it has been doing fairly well, so I decided I would share it and see what you all think. I've only had 3 battles with it so far, but it's 3-0. Anyway, let's just get into it :] The Goons In-Depth Analysis Hippopotas @ Eviolite 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk IMPISH Ability: Sand Stream ~Stealth Rock ~Whirlwind ~Earthquake ~Slack Off This is basically just a standard hippowdon set, except it has eviolite instead of leftovers. This thing functions as my sand-starter, rock-setter, and physical wall. Whirlwind is there to phase out physical sweepers, Earthquake is there to get some nice STAB damage when I can't do anything else or feel uncomfortable switching, and slack off is there as a reliable form of recovery. Sandslash @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP ADAMANT Ability: Sand Rush ~Swords Dance ~Rapid Spin ~Earthquake ~Stone Edge One of my two Sand Rush sweepers. It has a function as a spinner, sweeper, and it has respectable defense if it absolutely HAS to take a hit. Swords Dance is there to sweep, Rapid Spin is there to remove hazards set up on hippopotas, and Earthquake and Stone Edge are there to get nice coverage on most of the BL metagame. Stoutland @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP ADAMANT Ability: Sand Rush ~Frustration ~Wild Charge ~Superpower ~Ice Fang Another part of my physical core, and a rather effective wallbreaker. This thing is fast. REALLY fast. Also, my choice of Life Orb over Choice Band helps me get more flexibility on my opponents team, since most of what i'll be attacking with stoutland will die in 1 hit regardless. Frustration is there for some nice STAB damage, Wild Charge is there for nice damage against Flying / Water pokes, Superpower is to break Steel / Rock pokes, and Ice Fang is mainly there as filler, but also can help with dragons if the situation arises. Celebi @ Leftovers 252 HP / 60 SpA / 196 Spe TIMID Ability: Natural Cure ~Nasty Plot ~Giga Drain ~Recover ~HP Fire People that know me know that I almost always use the TinkerBell Celebi set (T-wave with heal bell), but this time i decided to try a bulky fast sweeper. The EVs are there so Celebi's natural bulk can be used at it's max potential. I didn't feel the need to run max SpA because of how much celebi's SpA can reach after +2, +4, and +6. Giga Drain and HP Fire counterbalance eachother rather nicely, Nasty Plot is there to boost, and Recover is there so I can be at a comfortable amount of HP at all times. Magnezone @ Choice Scarf 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP TIMID Ability: Magnet Pull ~Volt Switch ~Thunderbolt ~Flash Cannon ~HP Fire Scarf Magnezone is rather interesting because it can outspeed a lot of non-boosted pokes and it's coverage and nice Sp. Att lets it function as a viable revenge killer. Volt Switch is there to predict switches and kill low-HP pokes, Thunderbolt is there as a more reliable form of STAB, Flash Cannon is there for Rock Pokes and more STAB that thunderbolt doesn't hit, and HP Fire is there to kill steel and grass pokes. Mamoswine @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP TIMID Ability: Thick Fat ~Ice Shard ~Icicle Crash ~Earthquake ~Superpower My priority killer. This thing has access to some very viable stab moves in both icicle crash and earthquake, which have very nice coverage that makes mamoswine viable in both BL and OU. Superpower is rather a questionable choice, but it's been working for me. Stone Edge might be a better option, but, if you wish to use this team, that is for you to decide. So, that was my team. It still needs some work and I am well aware that it doesn't have much of a defensive presence outside of Hippopotas. Leave your suggestions in the comments and don't forget to leave a like if you liked the team! :] Importable
  15. Scarf Heatran. Smashes Hydreigon, Terrakion, Landorus, and Alakazam. *barring scarves Also HP Ground Gene poops on this team, barring t-tar which still takes an ass-ton from u-turn.
  16. Scarf Bullet Punch is pretty strong. ._.
  17. I'm in. You already gave me my type but i'm just verifying
  18. Hey kids, it's Hedron here bringing you another edition of broken LU teams ! Today, I decided to come up with a LU sun team with vulpix as my drought-setter. It's pretty broken, but it does work :] Anyway, let's just get into it.AT A GLANCE IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS Vulpix @ Eviolite 252 HP / 160 SpD / 96 SpA CALM Ability: Drought Overheat / Power Swap / HP Ice / Will-O-Wisp Well, I tried to make Vulpix viable. This thing's only real purpose is to set up the sun; with the Overheat / Power Swap combo , it has potential to stop special attackers and with WoW it stops physical attackers, making the cleaning job a lot easier for the rest of the team. HP Ice is just there so I don't get completely shit on by dragons. Power swap also helps with stealing Sword Dances, Calm Minds, and Nasty Plots from opposing pokes. Magmortar @ Choice Specs 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP TIMID Ability: Flame Body Fire Blast / Focus Blast / Thunderbolt / HP Ice So, this thing is nothing but pure, undeniable power. Choice Specs Fire Blast completely shits on almost all of the LU metagame, while the move spread makes it that even a neutral hit on pokes like physically defensive gastrodon would still do massive damage. 252SpAtk Choice Specs Magmortar (Neutral) Focus Blast vs 252HP/4SpDef Leftovers Storm Drain Gastrodon (Neutral): 52% - 61% (224 - 264 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO. Nothing is safe. That is all. Gligar @ Eviolite 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpD CALM Ability: Immunity Stealth Rock / Earthquake / Roost / Toxic Gligar provides a really interesting synergy to my team in the sense that it serves several different purposes; it can set up rocks, stall out pokes, and offers a resistance to Ground (which poops on my fire pokes) and Fighting (which poops on my shiftry / everthing else because nothing else to resist fighting). It also provides me with a check to pokes with Stone Edge. Shiftry @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP ADAMANT Ability: Chlorophyll Swords Dance / Seed Bomb / Sucker Punch / Low Kick My physical sweeper. I chose this over Victreebel because it offers another ground resistance. I was considering a mixed set with Giga Drain, but I ended up choosing this instead. :] Entei @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP ADAMANT Ability: Flash Fire Flame Charge / Flare Blitz / Stone Edge / Extremespeed Interesting Entei set that me and my friend made. It bluffs the choice band, sets up a flame charge, and proceeds (in most cases) to sweep teams. The only poke that is really safe from this is Gastrodon, which I have Shiftry for. This also serves as dual purpose as a revenge killer if anything gets too fast for Typhlosion or Shiftry. Typhlosion @ Choice Scarf 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP MODEST Ability: Blaze Eruption / Fire Blast / Focus Blast / HP Grass Another massively powerful threat. Full HP Eruption poops on almost every poke in the game, and HP Grass is there for coverage against Gastrodon. Well, that's my team. What are your thoughts? Edited List of Changes
  19. make a LU team with a gurdurr so i can smash you. You can come back and say sorry when we're done
  20. acrobatics does a big enough chunk to gurdurr. plus, +1 payback won't OHKO and another acrobatics or shadow ball will finish it off. Next? Plus, if it's a defensive gurdurr, then i'm not really worried about it punching holes in my team.
  21. Too broken. ]: You talk as if a Gurdurr at +1 can live a Flight Gem Acrobatics. I run mixed offense that way Acrobatics is still a viable move even after I get the unburden boost.
