  1. Hmm...this Icon on the PBE tells me a new Featured Game Mode is on the way...probably tied to the "Nightmare bots".
  2. We probably won't be friends for much longer, Ame...
  3. I see no way that timers can be good for he overall health of the game. Especially in the "thematic" sense. The jungle timers would, so to speak, hurt the game's aesthetics. Say, if I'm a new player, that seeing the time of the camp, I'd kinda be like "this is Summoner's Rift, natural environment, why is this spawning exactly 5 minutes after I kill it?" It needs to be mysterious to those that aren't actively tracking the camps; it is a natural environment after all, it does need to have that mysterious/surprising aspect to it. Otherwise it just wouldn't feel right IMO. I could list a plethora of other reasons but I'm not feeling it. Long story short, this is the line that shouldn't be approached as far as clarity is concerned.
  4. Oh. I hope for your sake that someone doesn't spam Lulu's /laugh
  5. The politeness is real. Why can't things be like that in NA?

  7. Definitely can't do 1PM ET on weekdays. Even 1PM on weekends is a wee but risky. I'll see what I can do. You have my IGN already.
  8. That feel when I watch a 6-item Jax get 100-0'd by Nidalee. Holy shit that is a broken champ if I've ever seen one.
  9. That feel when some people are just straight-up awesome http://www.dose.com/lists/2999/He-Saw-A-Giant-Bear-In-The-Water-What-He-Did-Next-Is-The-Manliest-Thing-In-History?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Facebook-231435026494&utm_content=FBPageList
  10. Just played on new Summoner's Rift. They weren't kidding when they said it could possibly run better than the old one. 60 FPS for the first time on SR is pure bliss.

    1. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Yea the Poly count is lower, so it is actually less intensive. (basically the tech was badly rigged before, now they can use less to repersent objects etc in the world space.) It looks really good and I am glad to hear it actually increases the performance lol.

  11. Having seen Paladin's Sona myself, I would agree. You know what else I've seen? The patch notes! 4.10 brings a boatload of champ changes and item changes and whatnot, but for those too lazy to look at the site, I'll see what I can do. Skins The following skins go on sale this patch, for 750 RP unless otherwise stated: Goalkeeper Maokai Red Card Twisted Fate Striker Lucian Superfan Gragas Sweeper Alistar Primetime Draven (975 RP) Champions - Reworks Nidalee was one of two reworked champions this patch. Skarner...well, it's not a rework, but a refurbishing of the last one. He gets a new passive, along with some other changes. Champions - General Diana's Lunar Rush no longer procs her passive. Galio now gains Magic Resist per level. Gragas now gains the damage reduction from Drunken Rage regardless of whether it's interrupted. Karthus now has an eagle join in his dance. (Statue of Karthus skin only) LeBlanc's Sigil of Silence Malice no longer silences. Lucian received a tiny nerf, that being to the AD ratio of his Ardent Blaze. Pantheon can no longer cast summoner spells while airborne. Sivir's base mana, mana per level and mana regen per level were all buffed. Skarner got a Texture Update! Tristana's Rocket Jump mana cost has been reduced. In addition, her Buster Shot range matches her autoattack range. Twitch's base AD, passive, and Ambush, all nerfed. Champions - Insignificant Stuff Bug fixes or other small changes were made to the following champions: Gragas Karthus Thresh Tryndamere Zed Items - Life Steal Doran's Blade: 70 Health, 7 Attack Damage, 3% Life Steal / 440G Essence Reaver: 50 Attack Damage, 10% Life Steal, 10% Cooldown Reduction / UNIQUE Passive: Basic attacks restore mana equal to between 2% and 8% of the damage dealt on hit. (Increases based on how much mana you're missing) / Recipe: Vampiric Scepter + Pickaxe / 2650G The Bloodthirster: 80 Attack Damage, 15% Life Steal / UNIQUE Passive: Lifesteal can now overheal, granting a bloody shield that absorbs 50-450 damage (based on champion level). This shield decays when out of combat for 15 seconds. / Recipe unchanged / 3500G Blade of the Ruined King: Passive increased to 8% of current Health (max 60 vs Minions, Monsters) / Active Movement Speed steal nerfed, as is the damage Items - Attack Damage BF Sword: Increased AD (now 50) Infinity Edge: Increased AD (now 80, like it used to be) Mercurial Scimitar: Increased AD (80), price now 3800G, now grants movement speed buff to ranged champs as well as melee Youmuu's Ghostblade: Active now lasts 6 seconds on ranged champs as well as melee ones Items - Attack Speed Dagger saw an increase in Attack Speed and price in the shop. This has adversely affected other items as well. Check out the notes for more details. Items - Cold Steel Warden's Mail and Randuin's Omen now only reduce attackers' Attack Speed by 10%. Randuin's Omen no longer slows attackers. Frozen Heart is unaffected by these changes. Items - Forbidden Idol Forbidden Idol's cost has been lowered. Ardent Censer: 30 Ability Power, 10% Cooldown Reduction, 10 Mana Regen per 5 seconds, 8% Movement Speed / UNIQUE Passive: Healing or shielding an allied champion grants them 25% Attack Speed for 6 seconds. / Forbidden Idol + Aether Wisp / 2200G Mikael's Crucible changed: +40 Magic Resist(?), 20 Mana Regen per 5 seconds, 10% cooldown reduction / Passives unchanged / 2450G (was 1600) Items - Fiendish Codex Athene's Unholy Grail: Magic Resist nerfed, base Mana Regen nerfed, now restores more mana on champion kill or assist Morellonomicon: Ability Power increased, Mana Regen reduced Summoner's Rift The Dragon now gives base gold, but the extra gold per level has been slashed. Summoner Spells Teleport now only shaves 60 seconds off its cooldown when used on an allied tower. Heal's Movement Speed buff now only lasts half as long. Exhaust: bug fix Ranked - Duo Queue You may now only duo with friends in the same tier, or one tier above or below you. Team Builder Captains in Team Builder will now be able to see a list of "Suggested Players" that they are able to invite into their games. That's it! I've had the pleasure of trying out these "new" items, and this is, in case you couldn't tell, a massive buff to AD carries (sorry bruisers, but get rekt); each one benefits from a different life steal item. Ardent Censer also helps too for those Attack Speed heavy carries like Twitch and Vayne. It'll be a good patch for Vayne, that's for sure... EDIT @06/29: Diana was nerfed in this patch and it went undocumented, I've added details.
  12. Oh boy, this game. Started out absolutely atrociously despite first blood going to Gangplank. Top lane was getting shit on right from the get-go, because that's what Quinn does to Trondo. She's at our inhib turret 14 minutes in, I'm losing mid because Lulu, and bot is starting to slip out of control from Lee Sin's pressure. Quinn 1v3's Trondo, Gangplank and Caitlyn, which spawned a lot of toxicity. I've never seen anyone as mad as this Tryndamere. Gangplank was pretty riled up too. Several 3 / 2 surrender votes later, Quinn is getting more and more fed, too much life steal and shields for me to kill too many people, our nexus turrets are both gone, and all hope seemed lost. But then. THRESH CAME TO PLAY. Everything this guy did was next to flawless. In each teamfight, everything he touched turned to gold. Flawless hooks, flawless boxes, flawless lanterns. Hell, even his wards were flawless. (He had the Draven ward skin after all). Over and over, he kept the people that actually did anything, being Lulu and Jinx, from doing anything. With Quinn solo'ing Baron and Tryndamere splitpushing, fights were stalemate after stalemate but we were slowly making progress. We had one last teamfight. We're looking for an initiation when Gangplank fires off his ult and we charge in. Quinn took out Tryndamere before he could even ult, but then things seemed to turn to slow motion... as that suave mofo Thresh threads the needle. And lands the perfect hook on Quinn. He instantly tosses the lantern as him and I slip to the back and blow her up, while his box and my wall keep them from running, and they promptly get rekt, allowing us to clean them up to win the game. What did we learn from this: Never surrender. Supports can carry too, ya know.
  13. I'm always down for ARAM games as skill difference/advantage/deficiency is a non-factor and it's enjoyable for pretty much everyone. Also very easy to get in and join as there isn't too much coordination required, both pre-game and mid-game. However I'm down for anything.

  17. Ugh, whatever. You guys get what I meant.
  18. Heads up: For those of you playing on NA and EUNE, those servers been DDoS'd by some Brazilian hacker group. Nothing special really, not the same group as last time, they just seem like attention whores. NA's since recovered, no word on EUNE or if any other servers were affected. So that's what's been going on there. If you can't get on the servers, here are a couple videos to hold you over. Karthus Champion Spotlight: Korean Summoner's Rift VU Showgame: (in Korean)

    e3 2014

Neither did I, but I didn't see too much to be hyped about from the other systems and companies (except more Rainbow Six, YES UBISOFT UBIDABEST).We were all hoping for games that were going to come out this season as opposed to next year, in many cases probably after the next E3. If that Zelda game or one of the other biggies had been sceduled for release during the holiday season. Oh well. At least us 3DS players have Smash Bros and Pokemon to hold us over. Rainbow six though. #hyped
  20. I guess Aeon's right...Fire Emblem Awakening is pretty much a waifu simulator, isn't it.

Well it is half and half. There really is a strategy element to it, but the thing he is talking about is very much a part of the game lol.

      Shamitako

It is an important part. It's liek that because supports were hell in previous games. I do very much enjoy the pairings as a side thing, or even a main thing if I want a certain child, but it's still an SRPG at heart

    Murkrow

Going Somewhere?   Murkrow (M) @ Eviolite Trait: Prankster EVs: 108 HP / 200 Def / 200 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) / Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Mean Look - Perish Song - Roost - Foul Play / Taunt / Substitute / Psycho Shift / Defog / Thunder Wave   Almost the same thing as Geo's set, but a wee bit different, notably with the plethora of changes in 6th gen that arguably made Murkrow stronger. This set is designed to shit on any set up Pokemon, sweeper, staller, status spreader, whatever you want. It's meant to look at one particular Pokemon and say, "to hell with you." How it does such is with its claim to fame, priority Perish Song thanks to Prankster. It's a guaranteed Perish Song no matter how hard it gets hit, which ruins any sort of setup. Volcarona, Venusaur, Zygarde, any Pokemon that looks to set up to run through your team will not like to see this bird. However the important thing is that BATON PASS WILL PASS PERISH SONG. Since to the best of my knowledge there are no noteworthy Pranksters with Baton Pass, Murkrow can completely and utterly ruin Baton Pass teams on demand with Perish Song, which forces the chain to be cut off and momentum snapped, which essentially forces the opponent, if they're not forfeiting, to start again, promptly allowing you to dismantle them in their downtime. You just gotta be wary of Mr Mime's Soundproof, that's all. Oh, and did I mention Murkrow is immune to Stored Power? After the Perish Song, Roost up to keep yourself healthy and to stall out the opponent. You can also follow up with a Mean Look to condemn them. When the Perish Count hits 1, switch out into your Pokemon of choice, rinse and repeat. The last move choice depends on what your team needs. Foul Play is a potent STAB-boosted attack. Taunt can stop status, setups and other things that can throw you off. Priority Substitute is the most effective way to annoy the shit out of your opponent. Psycho Shift combined with Roost makes Murkrow almost impossible to KO. Defog clears hazards n stuff. Thunder Wave...I have no idea how Murkrow gets this, but it ruins a sweeper. A move to consider. There's tons of other options which I didn't go over. As for the item, always take Eviolite and always pump out a lot into your defenses (not your HP!). Makes for one hell of a bulky bird.
