  1. Unfortunately, there's no relaunches in patch 5.6 though, and no Cinderhulk or Garen nerfs either. But there's a ton of balance changes though, mostly champion focused. There's also a lot of other stuff, including five skins, coming out as April 1st, better known as Urf Day, draws near. So let's take a look at what we're dealing with here! Skins The following skins will be released in the store for 750 RP unless otherwise stated: Debonair Galio (held back from 5.6) Urf the Nami-tee Archduke Nasus Order of the Banana Soraka Definitely Not Udyr - 975 RP Surprise Party Amumu - 1350 RP Ward Skins Urf Triumphant WardChampions - General Aatrox is up first, with a buff to his ultimate! Now when he "draws in the blood of his foes" it actually goes somewhere! Like into his Blood Well! Imagine that. :Kappa: Annie has received a small nerf this patch, that being Tibbers's aura's base damage. Bard is gonna get a couple of buffs this patch. The base damage of his Cosmic Binding is up, while his E's cooldown goes the other way. Elise got a few speed-related changes. She moves slower in human form, faster in spider form. Also her Cocoon was buffed a bit. Evelynn has received a buff to her passive's cooldown at later ranks. Also she no longer passively gains Movement Speed when hitting an enemy champ with a spell (Dark Frenzy passive) but instead spell casts on enemy champs will lower the W's active's cooldown. Galio got a light buff to the cooldown of his Righteous Gust. Irelia...oh poor Irelia. Statikk and co still find a way to strike with the nerf bat. E's base damage is down at later ranks. Katarina nerfs are a-comin' to her base Health/Health Regen. LeBlanc is getting a nerf. All of her Mimicked spells' AP ratios are going down. Nocturne bringin the daaaarrrkneessssss a bit more often now...his ult's cooldown is going down at earlier ranks. Rammus is seeing lowered mana costs at all ranks on his Powerball Ryze's Overload now has 15 extra damage. Sejuani's %health damage on her W-enhanced autoattack is getting nerfed, as well as her ult's slow. Singed's Fling now deals %health damage. Sion doesn't do as much damage with Roar of the Slayer (or Decimating Smash, against monsters. Twitch received an early-game buff to his passive. Veigar is getting buffs to his passive, Baleful Strike and Event Horizon, including the return of dash interrupts. Yorick now has a little extra range on Q-infused autoattacks. Ziggs is seeing a shaving of Bouncing Bomb's mana cost at later ranks. Zilean is the big winner this patch, receiving a slew of buffs! They're all in the spoiler below, I'm too lazy to summarize. Champions - Easter Egg Twisted Fate will now be "Bettin' blind. Literally" when he casts Destiny while under the effects of Smoke Screen or Paranoia.Champions - Texture Rebalances The following champions were next in line for a visual spiffying: Kayle Lee Sin Pantheon Rumble Ryze Champions - Insignificant Stuff The following champions are receiving minor changes, mainly bug fixes or ability icon updates: (to be updated) Annie Bard Cassiopeia Elise Karthus Lux Quinn Rammus Twisted Fate Champion Select Music The music for both Blind and Draft Pick has been changed! Blind Pick hasn't changed so much. Draft Pick has. Blind Pick: Draft Pick: Items Chalice of Harmony now costs only 900 gold. The total costs of Athene's Unholy Grail and Mikael's Crucible are unchanged. Athene's Unholy Grail now has double the Base Mana Regen, up to 100% (as in the regen that isn't Mana Font), and the mana restore on champion kill or assist has also been doubled. Luden's Echo has been removed from Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar due to a bug. Summoner's Rift The map got a little texture update this patch, most notable in the dragon pit and the bases. Loyalty Rewards Service Update (EUW / EUNE / KR ONLY) League of Legends's Loyalty Service has been updated. Rather than try to explain this service that doesn't exist in NA, I'll say that it is associated with playing in certain internet cafes, then copy and paste the associated post from a Rioter for your reading pleasure. That's it! Lotsa champion changes, but tanks are still going to reign supreme in the jungle this patch. However, those buffs to Athene's and Chalice are pretty intense...although I doubt they alone could cause a meta shift in mid lane, it would definitely help out utility mages such as Lux and Orianna. We'll have to wait and see though!
  2. Err, a better definition would be "updating of champion visuals, gameplay and thematics to the game's current standards." A lot of them do overhaul the champion (Karma, Sion) but some aren't as drastic (Master Yi, Cassiopeia). All we know is that her kit is being changed completely (will probably keep the wall-slam) and that IronStylus is working on her design - he's best known for designing Graves, Leona, Diana, Quinn and relaunch Sejuani (as well as a little bit of visual work on other champs).
  3. They are currently working on a "Sion-scale" relaunch for Poppy that is expected to be ready around August-September-ish.
  4. The number that's been thrown around most was $10
  5. I'm waitin for Pimpcane Nasus. I don't play Nami but it's kinda cute. Unrelated, i do remember them talking about an Irelia relaunch sometime either late this year or early next year. Not sure what happened to that but they seemed to have abandoned that idea for the time being. (The next will either be Ryze or Poppy.)
  6. So turns out I actually can be a good Riven...somewhat. To be fair I owed a fair bit to that Skarner. EDIT: Damn it feels good to be a gangsta tank jungla
  7. Irelia is getting nerfed this patch. Would not be shocked to see her nerfed again.
  8. Moving this over from the screenshots thread: Never stick to one annie build, epseically at support. Especially that build; Annie isn't meant to be a tank, so you should invest in a wee bit more damage. Although support builds vary vastly from game to game, you should always get FQC instead of Talisman if you are going to get Righteous Glory. If there's one item that works great on support Annie and is a good buy every game (except the obvious sightstone, mikael's etc.) it's Twin Shadows. This item's everything works very well with her.
  9. Zone his ass. Characters like Falco and Ness do really well vs Falcon because they can zone him so well. Shulk can also zone fairly well, but is combo fodder vs Falcon if he doesn't get a counter. You will also want to keep the fight on the ground as much as possible. A lot of Falcon players are predictable since they just run at you all the time and will try to dashgrab or dash attack into you to set up combos. Thus you can dodge pretty easily. He's also all-melee and leaves a number of openings in his attacks. You're at his mercy once you're in the air though so get back to the ground when you can. Also, playing heavy characters vs him can be a headache as he combos almost as well as Fox. Nimble, light characters are more forgiving vs him.
  10. What Godot said. Also remember that Link is slow, and Toon Link doesn't have a whole lot of launching power outside of side smash. As Shulk you do fairly well against Link because he has trouble getting into range to finish. Toon Link is 3fast5monadoboy but Shulk is the better air fighter.
  11. Today I learned a Bloody Mary at 9 in the morning isn't a good idea even if it's free
  12. Shaco can, I forgot about that guy. Wukong can't, though. Wukong just stealths (akin to LeBlanc), whereas Shaco actually becomes untargetable for a half-second.
  13. Effects that render yourself untargetable is the most effective way to avoid the Red Beacon of Death. Lissandra: Frozen Tomb (ult) (if cast on herself) Vladimir: Sanguine Pool (W) Master Yi: Alpha Strike (Q) Fizz: Playful (E) Fiora: Blade Waltz (ult) Kalista: Fate's Call (ult) - Kalista is still targetable; her Oathsworn is not. Rek'Sai: Void Rush (ult) Zed: Death Mark (ult) Bard: Tempered Fate (ult) a lot of those require good timing though. You can also spell shield it. But often times you will not have access to untargetability or a plethora of shields and heals, so you will have to accept your fate a fair amount of the time. Alternatively, as he has to channel for all that time, you will sometimes have opportunities to interrupt Karthus's ult if he is still "alive". This can be done through all sorts of different CC such as stuns, knockbacks, and taunts, as well as just straight up killing him before it goes off. If you manage to interrupt his ultimate, no damage will be dealt to anyone on your team.
  14. Diana isn't a bad champion top lane. She's a very feast-or-famine champ meaning she has to take advantage Of the windows of opportunity given to her. Thus there's a fair amount of good matchups for her (most notably Gnar, whom she dumpsters post-6 since he can't handle her outside of mega form). Laning against Lissandra is largely about watching two things: her passive, and her mana pool. If she has less than 85 mana and she recently used a spell with the help of her passive, then you will almost always win trades against her, although it still kind of depends on who you're playing but Jarvan IV and Kassadin are typically cited as counters to Liss if you wanna go that way. Play around and see what you like. If you main Nunu then you'd probably like playing Annie and/or Shyvana.
  15. I would agree with everything Trevo said except for this. Changing yourself for a girl is often a waste of time, since if she liked you beforehand, she would have liked you just as you were. EDIT: It's probs too late to get her to notice you and try to win her over. Chances are they won't be together very long if he's just a constant smartass to everyone.
  16. My avatar is showing up as Nickcrash's for some reason...

Yeah that's who they are, lol. Anyway looks like the problem was resolved on its own.

  17. Since someone actually didn't know and had to ask me, Definitely Not Udyr's recall references Usain Bolt.

  18. Since someone actually didn't know and had to ask me, Definitely Not Udyr

  19. Hades is the main villain of Kid Icarus Uprising. To be fair, although I don't see him getting in over other characters, he was probably more deserving of a spot than Dark Pit was. If there's another DLC character after Mewtwo (Sakurai said in December that nothing was planned) it seems that other Smash veterans such as Wolf and the Ice Climbers would be frontrunners, but there have been a few names tossed around by fans. My personal most desired DLC characters (other than the two mentioned above) are Hector has a lot of potential for Smash, being a reckless axe-swinging badass. Kinda like a more ground-focused Ike. Crash hasn't got any real recognition in the Nintendo world but I feel like he'd make a fun as hell Smash character with his spins and maybe even some Nitro. Mumkhar is already in the game but if he was playable I would main him all day long. Seriously. Fast fighter with claws and a mastery of BM would be epic. We will have to see though.
  20. Wow you've managed to do the unthinkable and make it more terrifying than the original.
  21. My bet's on Mega Man returning. He's no Snake or Wolf or anything. The characters from Smash 4 that (imo) are most likely not returning in a future Smash game are Lucina, Wii Fit Trainer, and Shulk
  22. *digs up that photo of Ame in the picture thread with intent to scare everyone*
  23. Implying there's anything wrong with staring at a picture of your girlfriend for "too long".
  24. Have you been through Apophyll Academy? If so then you will understand how I could want someone dead more than Fern.
