  1. The reduced vision a la Smokescreen is even better than blind. It will also prevent the use of targeted abilities such as Ryze's shit, Double Up, Shen/Nocturne ults, etc. unless the enemies are in a nonsensical range. I love it.
  2. hey now, Blue Cards hurt I dunno about Nasus with that build though
  3. TIL Nasus has 18% life steal at level 1 with the new masteries.
  4. I don't like that Sven, Dlift and Hauntzer, three very tilt-prone players, are on the same team. This isn't a top NA team from what we can see especially since 3 players are EU unless they gel with each other quickly - otherwise I see them finishing outside top 3 in spring.
  5. Judging by the video, it appears that Cloud will be a somewhat defensive character, with emphasis on mixups, who will transition to heavy offense when he Limit Breaks. His recovery doesn't look like it'll be very impressive outside of Limit Break, and his KO power looks like it also needs Limit Break to be a big threat. Cloud however seems to be great on defense with long range and projectiles to hold off until he's ready to flick the switch and go offensive. Too early to say too much though, this is just speculation. We'll see when he comes out. EDIT: The alternate costume is from Advent Children.
  6. What's with you and exotic animals? lol Granted that monkey looks chill as hell.
  7. Yolo. List of moves with Full Invincibility/Intangibility Here's a list of characters who are completely immune to damage during certain frames of their attacks.
  8. I don't doubt a character making it into the game as a playable character from being an assist trophy - aka the Little Mac treatment. Although Waluigi will likely get in that way much sooner than Lyn.
  9. Eh, I dunno about ruined, but that's just me. The game is more casual than the others though, which is something I really like.
  10. Ayyy finally someone made this thread I really don't play very many fighting games but out of the ones that I do play, most of it is Street Fighter. i play USFIV probably the most out of all of them, where I main Poison but play pretty much every non-charge character. Makoto is my go-to in 3rd Strike, and in SF5 I have been playing mostly Ken and Vega. And finally, Street Tighter x Tekken usually sees me play a duo of Sagat and Akuma. I have only played Marvel vs Capcom once or twice. I remember picking Charlie though. And then in Tekken I play Bob and Lili. Bob is awesome.
  11. UU has been, and always will be, my favorite tier. It's like OU with all the polarizing things waded out of the metagame. There's so much freedom to run almost whatever you like, and the viable variety is so much more when compared to other tiers. It never, ever gets old.
  12. Shoutouts to the members of the Flint Firebirds OHL team for not putting up with ownership's bullshit. I wish something like this never came to pass, but still.

  13. Noticed Tryndamere got Thornmail instead of boots. Against that team that's actually a really smart idea. Against Kindred it hurts a ton since the %health damage from both her passive and E is also reflected. The same goes for Ashe's Q. The thornmail would thus have forced the AA-heavy team away from the seemingly fed Tryndamere as to not end up killing themselves before taking out key members of Ark's team in fights, whether Tryndamere be splitpushing or acting as the team's sole front liner in teamfights.
  14. The mere existence of one greater than us is intolerable. We fight in retaliation. If beauty is not enough, we use money. If money does not work, we resort to violence. This energy is what powers our world! It is essential!

But what if violence doesn't work? what if none of those 3 works?

  15. The vast majority of Ganondorf mains would appreciate a new moveset regardless of how long they've played him. I am among those who would love an overhaul. Here's some potential inspiration.
  16. Rolls are laggier than spotdodges however, so a mix of the three (spotdodges, rolls and shield) are needed to be optimal. Especially against characters with strong roll punishes such as Rosalina, Captain Falcon, Link, etc. also Sheik's roll is actually pretty bad. ZSS's roll is really strong in contrast, not only because of the distance but because she's got lots of options out of it to avoid punishment in more situations than other characters. That argument could also be made for Palutena.
  17. Roll spamming isn't that good at all, really...it's an easily picked up on and punishable tactic, and doing it can establish a bad habit. In offline competitive you will get crushed for doing it. Best to keep rolls to a minimum and incorporate spotdodges as well if you aim to be evasive.
  18. Yeah, Luigi's got a lot of early combos. Most of them are reliant on catching opponents' DI though; being a step ahead of your opponent is key. Against Luigi your spacing has to be immaculate, and you also have to never shield fireballs. Either just straight up eat them or dodge them because the shieldstun makes you combo food. His downsides post-patch are the same as Yoshi's really; a need to make a hard commitment to close out a stock at a reasonable percentage, and being edgeguarded somewhat more easily than the others. EDIT: Practice with Jiggles. Anyone else play the puff here?
  19. I need to play Pyrrhon again. I took the last set we played, will have an opportunity to later this week maybe. The player on Reborn who's been the greatest challenge for me to beat is Godot without question. Pyrrhon and thekiller are not far behind.
  20. "This video does not exist" PS, I'm open to playing tonight if someone is up.
  21. Thing is Doublelift's probably going to have a say in who supports him. welp, forgot
  22. TSM's roster is interesting, but I don't like the chances for anyone to come over from TiP, especially not Adrian. Doublelift will have pretty high standards for a Support player after playing with Aphro for so long, and while Adrian's good...he ain't that consistent. Piccaboo falls into the same scenario as Adrian, but makes even less sense since he is still signed to a Korean team. Rush is still pretty new to the scene; Impulse and TSM are two very different teams, and the still-developing Rush is likely going to have a very rough go at it in such a change of atmosphere, especially with a lack of Korean-speakers to mingle with. As for a top laner (if they haven't decided on one already), it will most likely be someone from the Challenger series, like InnoX or Solo. The position of Jungler is still very much up in the air; there's no telling what direction they will want to go here. I presume they're keeping the connections with EU wide open in the hopes that maybe there's someone whom they can bring in to retain the synergy with Bjergsen. Support, well my money's on the veteran Doublelift having a say on who gets to join him in the bot lane. To that end, my money's on TSM pursuing Xpecial's services once more. There is also a wealth of talent that is up and coming in Support, but they will have to compete with both Renegades and TAO for that position.
  23. Nope. Those would be the Slayer skins and Zombie Nunu this time around.
