“So your living in the room next to me? I'm Kay, nice to meet you. I'm in the Breeder Program so I don't care much about the 'good' Pokémon. Although I have to admit I'm not a big Pikachu fan. What about you? Are you going for a Pikachu or something else?”

Toshiro can't help but to smirk at Kay's response. It was passable and was something that a good breeder would say. Perhaps there's a side of this troublemaker that isn't so bad. But still, he can't let his guard down just because of a simple answer, Toshiro needs more information about this guy and what's his connection to number 11.

"Heh, I never knew my neighbor was a fellow breeder. Well then, pleasure to meet you, Kay. My name is Toshiro from Fuschia city, but you can call me hiro if you like." Toshiro said to Kay while his eyes ponders at the busy students picking their pokemon like some sort of shopping spree from the distance.

"Well I suppose I could get a pikachu, but those yellow rodents are all over the place. As a breeder, I prefer something with a little bit of difficulty in taking care of.. perhaps something like a ..P " before as Toshiro can finish his sentence. An audible grunting sound interrupt him and notice the snoring turtwig at his feet.

"Is this your Turtwig? It sure likes to sleep a lot. It must be exhausted playing with its master last night." Toshiro said and kneels down to its level. Midori pops out of his master's backpack out of curiosity and tilted its head while looking at it. Probably wondering how could this Turtwig sleep in a noisy place like this?

Johnny headed over to the opposite end of the Field from Robert, and then gave a quick whistle to his partners, which Ignizelka understood the meaning of. In response, she gave a short, terse bark to Sylvia, telling the Eevee to follow her, and the two then headed over to Johnny's side. He then spoke up as he sent Sylvia out onto the Field.

"Good luck, Robert."

((The Battle has begun. For now, though, it will transfer over to the Battle Thread. I'll let you take the first move by making the first post, Turbo.))

Maya v James: Full Recap and Conclusion

((Full Recap))

Maya vs James
Mawile vs Duskull
Moveset Mawile:
-Fairy Wind -Iron Head -Bite -Astonish
-Misty Terrain -Sweet Scent
Moveset Duskull:
-Feint Attack -Night Shade -Ominous Wind
-Haze -Disable

"Let's get this started." James muttered as Gaster started floating onto the battlefield proper. No need to delay it with unnecessary talking, not much of that to be had this early into the year. Looking towards the other side, he saw the Mawile Maya had obtained just a few minutes prior. Small stature and cute appearance were deceiving as the fairy sported a menacing set of jaws on the back of it's head, it should probably have a biting move of some kind to compliment that.

While James was thinking about what to do, Gaster had already started staring at the Mawile with it's single ominous scarlet red eye hidden under a skull-like mask. The Mawile was intriguing, it stood there with it's back turned towards him and large jaws open towards it. It's stance would be mocking if not for the gaping maw that were the defining feature of the Deceiver pokemon.

"Start us off with a Night Shade." There it was, the command it was waiting for, the one to begin the fight. A black beam of darkness outlined in red was fired out of the Duskull's single eye towards the Mawile.

Titania recoiled as she slid back a bit as the beam made land fall, gritting her teeth. Even if the user- and therefore the move itself -wasn't that powerful at this current point, it had still stung. meanwhile, Maya's expression did not change. Neither did Folie's, as the panda sat cross legged behind the action. The mawile gnashed her fangs at the wraith's general direction, glaring at Maya...

"Astonish." the girl ordered simply. With a single nod the Fae Queen opened her jaws wide, crimson waves of force beginning to burst through the air along with a blood curdling scream more fit to rumble out of the throat of a murder victim than such a small creature, blasting through the still tranquility of the field and surging right towards the phantom...

There was something... off about the shout though... it was faster than it should've been, louder too. More forceful...almost as if amplified by something...

The crimson waves struck Gaster, the attack far too fast to be able to dodge as the scream caught the Duskull unaware, leaving it completely vulnerable to the attack. The Duskull only cackled through the pain however as it floated a bit closer to the ground than it had before due to the Astonish attack. The deceiver had decided to use a move of it's own element, it felt the ghastly energy even if it was extremely diluted and weak it was still there. All it'd have to do is a little trick with it's eye...and it would be something it wouldn't have to deal with for a good while.

The Duskull's eye started flashing from scarlet red to an icy blue colour, all it took was a sidewards glance towards James for the trainer to recognize the same move that the specter had performed on him not even 10 minutes earlier. "Disable." James nodded towards the ghost. The Duskull's eyes flashed towards the Icy blue once more before staying that color as all color seemed to fade from it's line of sight. A spectral purple sphere appeared out of nowhere around the Mawile's body, attempting to lock the Mawile's Astonish away.

Quiet. That was all that hung on the air as the sphere faded. Gentle, serene quiet. The Mawile finally shut it's yapping maw, bound by the strange trickery of the wraith as Maya looked on. Something that might've almost qualified as a smirk tucked at the corner of her lips, despite the obvious frustration of the steel type...

"Such a waste..." She said. Titania threw the most questioning look she'd given yet; the only answer she got was the girl's next order. "Bite it." Whatever she had planned... looked like the Fae would simply have to trust her for now... Without a moment of hesitation the mawile turned and dashed for the Wraith at full speed, eyes fixing on the ghost- Feinting hard to the right just as she closed the last of the distance between them and pushing up off the ground with a single jump before turning in midair -the pearly whites of her fangs were born against her foeman, jaws descending along with their owner right towards the ghost, her teeth burning with an ethereal, near unnatural black light..

A light that burned even brighter as the same strange power from before came into effect...

Just as expected, the Mawile had Bite. Dark type moves generally had similar properties to ghost type moves but where much more grounded in reality than the otherwordly energy that went into ghost type moves. Disabling again wouldn't be possible, it would take too much energy out of Ghaster and the already existing lock would block the new one from being added. "Dodge with Feint Attack and keep away from it." James shouted out towards the Duskull, it would be far too dangerous to let the Deceiver pokemon get close up. It'd only revealed two moves and both of them were very effective on Ghaster.

The Duskull floated back before it's body was enveloped in the same pitch black light as the Mawile's teeth were and it feinted towards it's left before rushing right and seemingly vanishing into thin air and re-appearing further away from the Mawile. Closer than I thought it would be, even with Feint Attack, Ghaster is far too slow to try to avoid attacks like those continuously.

Titania snapped at thin air just as the little revenant vanished from the spot, gazing about the field only to find the thing had somehow teleported. The fairy gave a snarl in annoyance as her back jaws again gnashed, predatory crimson eyes glaring at the otherworldly figure like twin fires in the night. The seed of a smile on Maya's face only began to bloom however.

"That dodge was a little close, wasn't it?" This was it... already, the Control was shifting. If she could just nudge the scales a bit more... "Running away, I see... oh well. Titania, use Sweet Scent with Fairy Wind."

Wait, what? What was she...? Forget it, Titania had no time to waste gawking at the strange combinations that came out of the girl's mouth. She again snapped her jaws as she pulled her arms in close. A honied, powerful scent began permeate the very air itself, lavender vapors spreading out from Titania like a soothing, forbidden cloud of opium, scent so intriguingly pleasing that it was probably liable to make just about anything stop and enjoy it...

And the next moment, she thrust outwards with the limbs, and that same, distractedly pleasant scent began to surge towards Gaster in full force, caught in the shining windstorm conjured up by the Fae, surging towards the ghost type in a spiraling frenzied haze of vapor and sparkling glints of light. It was something of beauty to be honest... such a spectacle, such fragrance and majesty... perhaps it'd be better appreciated on the floor of a contest hall.

But Maya had a feeling the idea could do just as fine out here on the battlefield too...

"Go on, try to dodge now... not so easy with that intoxicating aroma there, now is it?"

Trying to distract it with the Sweet Scent ..huh? Interesting...

Ghaster didn't have many options against the Sweet Scent and Fairy Wind combo, Haze would be blown away without much effort and the other attacks would have a hard time even being summoned. Dodging was not an option either with Sweet Scent keeping it partly distracted. The attack wasn't avoidable, at the range it was from Ghaster when being fired at least.

The Duskull was in a daze, the sweet scent kept it distracted from being able to move or even notice the incoming windstorm and it was hit by the attack as a result of that and it got thrown backwards. The attack felt far too benign for it's liking, not the winds of it's preference...those felt far, far more vile, they were almost soothing to it but absolutely putrid to others.

"Being on the defensive isn't doing us much good, blast it with another Night Shade, start building up an Ominous Wind afterwards." James ordered, dodging wasn't going to be much of an option and Disable was out of the question until the lock on Astonish wore off. Another beam of darkness was fired, while the ray was making it's way towards the Deceiver Pokemon, sickly purple winds started gathering around the Duskull, it felt it's presence within the repulsive winds as they swirled around the specter.

Again, Titania felt the chilling sting of the ghastly ray of night send her back as she brought up her arms to defend herself at the last minute; looked like this one had a bit more oomph behind it than the last... Almost by reflex, she went to open her jaw and let out another scream, only to find not a single note of sound produced as the lock held firm. Whatever vile bit of black magic that specter had done to her, it was still sticking around for a bit longer, it seemed.

Another sweet scent would be pointless with that wind up. And there was no point in putting up Misty Terrain; if he had any status moves, the guy would've used them by now. She could see it though, him trying to push this back from the brink... yeah, no. She wasn't about to sit back and let it all reverse... but fine. "Titania," She called out to the fae. "Repeat fairy wind... and prepare your last attack."

Last Attack, eh? Well, the only offensive move she hadn't used so far was... oh... that one. With only a single snarl, the Mawile again thrust out with both hands, the same shining, glittering gale storm as before blasting forth towards Gaster and the phantom's own little wind storm with a surging howl as it neared...

And all the while, Titania's form burned with a subtle glow of silver as she scowled at the ghost... so subtle infact that it was probably barely noticeable to anyone but herself or to Maya. "Good... it's charged..."

The Fairy Wind came again for another round, however this time, the Duskull could fight back with it's own vile winds and it did. Gaster cackled once more and thrust forward a good amount of the repulsive attack that had surrounded it and it rushed forwards to meet the glittering windstorm while slowly, much slower than before, more of the putrid wind started to surround Gaster to regain the amount that was lost in the Ominous Wind attack. They weren't going to leave themselves vulnerable to another one of those bite attacks.

Perhaps leaving Disable until later would've been the better idea, it was one of the better moves Gaster had at it's disposal currently, however the removal of Astonish was a godsend. The climax of the fight shouldn't be too far off anyways.

"Just as I thought you'd do... that's right... time for the trump card" "Titania, now!" Called Maya as soon as the phantom countered the Fae embued winds. This was the moment she'd been building towards, the trap she'd laid... even if they didn't even know they'd just walked right into it. From the minute those two had wasted Disable on Titania's Astonish, all to way to right now.

Not even a full second passed before the girl gave the order and the Steel type reacted, the gentle, subtle glow around her suddenly erupted into a full force aura of metallic silver, resonating with streaks of white as she took a single step and then surged forward like a bullet, letting the very power surrounding her push her forward as she flew across the field. Yet again, whatever mysterious power the Fairy held within her seemed to become active, the aura burning with even greater intensity and sending her even farther, faster, harder; like a star fallen from the heavens- a mere blurred, silver streak arcing across the field...

and heading right for the paranormal entity named Gaster as it tried to regroup it's befouled, vile winds...

Iron Head, it had Iron Head all along....at the momentum it was going at currently, Gaster wouldn't have enough of the Ominous Winds to stop it, dodging would only leave the specter open to another Bite attack. The ghost attempted it anyways, thrusting forward another storm of the repulsive wind attack, though much weaker as it didn't have enough of it saved up. It was no use however as the Mawile just ran through the attack thanks to the strangely intense power that ran through it's body, far too much for a normal iron head. The Mawile slammed into Gaster at full force sending the Duskull flying backwards.

It was over, the Duskull was far too weak to fight much longer now and even then, it wouldn't put up a fight. "Ah, well that was fun. Good match." James started walking over to where Gaster fell down onto the Battlefield after being hit by the Iron Head attack with a potion in his right hand. Leaving the phantom injured wouldn't do much good after all.

((Conclusion))

"Yeah, same to you..." Maya responded. Folie smirked where he sat. That had all gone perfectly well, 10 out of 10 for ol' Maya here- would definitely spectate again. He'd definitely seen enough of how the absol's handler fought; twas all but a mere matter of time and preparation now...

Meanwhile, the aura around Titania died as she watch the boy begin to treat the beaten and battered ghost. So it was over... hmmmm... that wasn't too bad, to be entirely honest. There were a few times there where she'd been at a lost for what the girl was thinking or trying to do, but... well, obviously her instincts had pulled them through somehow.

She turned and walked away from James and Gaster, a lingering smirk on her otherwise docile face as she headed towards her own trainer. This human, Maya, wasn't that what the panda introduced her as? Anyways, she seemed to be good enough...

"Maw..." She said earnestly, holding up a hand to shake. Both the panda and the girl looked at her a bit hesitantly. "Mawile!" She repeated, looking the girl square in the eyes. For a human, the kid seemed to have a pretty good head on her shoulders out there. Titania had seen enough; any doubts she might've had about calling this girl her trainer were gone. They were partners now, and to her understanding... partners were supposed to 'Shake on it'.

Maya still looked a bit confused for a moment, staring down at the steel type. One look into those twin orbs of crimson and fire though, on look into the blazes of determination mingling with respect... and it started to click finally. She reached down and accepted the Gesture.

"Alright then..." She said. "I guess you've...made up your mind?" Titania nodded. So she'd been right... the Fairy really was trying to test her earlier. Even if she passed with flying colors and the Fae was ready to accept her now though, there still remained the fact of the damage she'd taken. Maya reached into her pocket, pulling out two Oran berries before proffering the fruit to Titania. She didn't need an explaination to understand what they were, simply took both the azure spheres and wolfed them down, body beginning to heal near instantly as she did...

"Spin!!!" Folie called in outrage, springing up from the soft earth where he sat. This ho Fairy type did not just eat his damn berries, did she?

"Don't even start." Maya said pointedly, shooting him a glare not too much unlike the one he'd gotten just yesterday. Folie shuttered just a little, slinking back a few steps. "We've got more than enough to go around, and besides, it's not just you anymore, Folie. you're part of a team now; you can't just go hogging the resources for yourself, not when there are others working just as hard too."

"Spiiiiiin..." The panda groaned in defeat, folding his arms.

Gah, fine, whatevs... guess Maya had a point about that...

"You did pretty well out there, considering you're not all that strong at the moment" James started applying the Potion onto Gaster' body. The ghost was good, it was their lack of strategy that had lost them the fight it seemed though that was to be expected, He'd only met the specter a few minutes prior to the battle after all. The spray shouldn't sting it for all that long before it started healing it, or at least that's what should happen, no idea if it might have different effects on ghost types.

Gaster looked up at the trainer, he seemed decent enough, at least enough to keep up a fight and take a loss without freaking out or anything with it, quite a few people seemed to freak out when in the presence of ghost types. The kid didn't seem to be bothered that much anymore after that initial disable it put on him. Regardless, it cackled once more after the sting of the spray wore off and it started being healed by the Potion. One thing was for sure though, next time it faced that Mawile, it'd be in a much different state...very different. For now however it'd focus on becoming stronger before worrying about that, Gaster started floating back up again, not completely healed and ready for battle but it wouldn't be struck down by any hit that hit it at this point.

Meanwhile, Crescent had been woken up from it's extremely short nap very early into the battle and had been glued to it, the girl was much better than he'd expected...that Spinda might be an interesting opponent to face if how the Mawile fought was any example..though Gaster wasn't all that strong. The Absol gave a toothed grin at that, now things were looking good, he thought the entire year might have just been boring speeches and paperwork but this...he could get behind this. He loved his sleep yeah, but a good fight was always up his alleyway even at his age, he'd lost track of that many years ago however. The Absol got back onto his legs and in a short sprint made his way towards James and Gaster.

"We got a long road ahead of us, huh.."James pondered, the next three years would be quite the test it seemed. They could get much stronger...then they'd aim for the top, though that was merely a dream currently. Maybe one day, they'd reach it. He put the used potion in his bag, he'd get rid of it later. For now though, he needed to find something to do. Sleeping wasn't an option and fiddling with his pokedex was something he did for most of the evening prior.....

(Citrine to Frosty Wolt)

"Err...that's a very small moveset you have there." Citrine looked at Techie's moves and he only had two attacks...one of which was pretty much worthless. "We'll probably have to work on that or something. At least it's not Splash or something dumb. I guess we also have to do battle with somebody. Alright Techie, all you need to do is beat some kid's Pokemon up then we can have all the fun in the world."

The Skitty looked at the two who were gleeing of joy of all the fun they could have. These two matched a little too perfectly. Still, it was nice to know this would be another day she didn't have to work with this thing and could finally answer if she knew how to battle. She simply sat waiting to see this girl get completely curb-stomped by some kid. She then saw that blue haired boy nearby and waited for the show to begin.

Citrine looked over to see her little old friend from yesterday. "Hey Frosty!" She yelled from across the area loud enough so at least he could hear it. "You wanna go for a battle. I want to beat someone who is at least somewhat tough."

Kage, as usual, was not having a fantastic morning. He often had difficulty actually getting to sleep, and last night was no exception. This resulted in a rather late awakening, and a scramble to get out of bed and to where he needed to be in the morning. He cursed loudly and prolifically when Lucas helpfully informed him that it was 8:38 AM, almost falling over himself as he grabbed the first articles of clothing he found: a pair of jeans and an eye-wrenching combination of brightly-colored t-shirt and jacket. He made it to the space behind the gym just in time to hear Redwood's short speech about obtaining a new Pokemon.

After the professor finished speaking, with Lucas's assistance Kage made his way toward the table containing Steel types. He'd wanted to raise one for a while, but opportunities to even encounter them were few in number when you lived on an island. Granted, the former Champion lived there, but he wasn't exactly around often. "Lucas, what do you think?" The Ralts - as usual, perched on the boy's shoulder - made a neutral noise; he didn't seem to like the idea of a Steel type on the team in the first place. "Fine, whatever, don't have an opinion. Let's just go with another Hoenn native, how's that sound?" Another apathetic response. "You're always so helpful," Kage remarked sarcastically.

He reached toward the ball labeled Aron with Lucas's guidance, grabbed it, and clicked the button, releasing the Pokemon inside. "Suppose I've got to call you something, huh?" The Aron made a noise that sounded like offense; he didn't like Kage's apparent dismissiveness. "Calm down, I'm just trying to figure out a name, not trying to be mean. Hm, what do you think of samurai? Sasaki sound good? Yeah, let's go with that." The Aron seemed content with the name, even going so far as to affectionately headbutt Kage's leg - which sent him stumbling and almost falling over another table, as the Aron probably weighed several times more than Kage. "Okay, let's not do that, at least without warning me. Cmon, let's head over to the battlefields." He walked off in the direction stated, the Aron running with his tiny legs to keep pace with Kage.

Wolt & Citrine

"So is there anyone in particular you want to battle just by glance?" Wolt asked Athena who still stood happily on his shoulder. "I mean I don't really care who we battle, it's kinda mandatory at this point. But since this is our first battle together you can choose your opponent." Before the Eevee could even utter a word they heard someone calling out to them. It was that girl from yesterday, Citrine if he remembered correctly.

"Hey Frosty! You wanna go for a battle? I want to beat someone who is at least somewhat tough."

'She's still calling me Frosty?' Wolt thought to himself as he sighed. Athena, curious about the the girl calling out to them, gestured towards the group signaling that she wanting to battle with them. "Her, alright... At least I can try to have her stop calling me Frosty" Wolt said to Athena before turning over to Citrine responding with, "Fine but we'll see who beats who! I think there's an open field over there." Wolt spoke pointing to a battle field currently being unused. "Oh and by the way, the name is Wolt, not Frosty." With that, he walked over to the right side of the field waiting for his opponent to do the same.

Inigo proceeded with them, walking along the opposite side of Wolt where Athena stood. Once Wolt got into place Inigo decided to watch under the shade of a tree instead of standing beside his trainer. Leaning on said tree he watched to see what his new teammate could do.

As Mie stood around the battle field, she had noticed the boy from yesterday walking over to the battlefield. Perhaps it would be best to challenge him. After all, her roommate was already with somebody else and she at least vaguely knew the guy.

But that meant that she would have to go up to him and talk to him. She would have to initiate conversation. Initiate conversation. Initiate. Conversation.

Just those very words brought chills to her spine. After all, who was she to initiate conversation with someone else. She didn't have the right to…

"Ugh…what am I thinking…?" She muttered. "I can't just keep thinking like that. I'll just go up and challenge him to a battle."

Yukiko looked up at her wondering what was going on with her new trainer while Kagari attempted to clue her into the fact that this was normal.

"It's alright. Everything will be just fine." She said before making her way over to Kage.

"U-u-umm…Kage? H-hi. Would you like to battle? I-I see you picked up your new Pokemon." She said, trying to sound natural, only to show how flustered she was. Mie could even tell that all the blood was rushing straight to her face.

"Heh, didn't expect that to go so smoothly. Must be my charm." Citrine walked over to the other side of the field as her little Rotom. A Skitty lowered her head down in shame. This was not going to end well and she already knew it. She just prayed this wouldn't end too badly. Citrine looked over to the blue haired boy with a grin. "How about you make the first move?"

Drake,

"Well guess it's time to get you a new friend Whisper." Drake said the thought at loud as there was quite the chaos as people scrambled to find whatever mon they were looking for. Drake didn't really have anything particular in mind she'd be happy with pretty much anything. She wandered down the aisles, seeing if anything struck her fancy. While others were going crazy she leisurely walked around just taking a look. Luckily Drake was huge compared to the others, so they pretty much gave her a large berth, probably afraid of being trampled. It was around the Steel section of the pokemon she found the one she would go for.

"What about an Aron? They've always looked pretty cute. What do you think Whisper?" she said to the little puppy in her arms. Whisper nodded after letting loose a tiny bark. She must've agreed. Probably just because she wanted to get the hell out o the room, but, it was still a little genuine. "Alright then girl, let's meet your new pal.: Emberly picked up the Pokeball and then placed it on the ground while pushing the button. It blasted open in a blast of red light and out came a small somewhat lizard like creature. It was covered in all sorts of metal plates and armour. At first it jumped, probably not expecting to be released. It scattered to the leg of the table in a small panic, before collecting itself. The little guy seemed to puff out his chest by holding his breathe as he walked out from where he ran. Saving some face was he? It made Drake laugh. He was so cute. She just wanted to pinch him...was that weird? It probably hurt her too since his cheeks were made of metal. Whatever, she pushed the silly thoughts from her mind. "And who are you little buddy?" She said to the Aron. It walked right up to her and tugged on her pant leg. It looked up at her with it's big blue eyes, blue as sapphires. It whistled in reply, a high shrill noise, but, not one that was harsh on the ears. It was a cute little sound. "Oh! Do you like to sing? That's really strange for an Aron. Maybe it's just a hobby of yours." The Aron nodded in reply before whistling a small song. It wasn't anything spectacular like the song of a Pokemon that actually knew the move Sing, but it was really cute. Drake couldn't help but smile at the little creature. "Hey do you want to hang out with me and Whisper here? I'm sure we'll all have loads of fun." The little pup poked its head up so that it could see the little Aron on the floor. They locked eyes for a moment as they assessed each other quickly. Drake wondered what went through those heads of theirs. Would she even understand it? Either way, the Aron sang another little song of a few metallic notes. He almost sound like a flute. The tones were happy and upbeat, indicating that he probably was saying yes. Whisper used her move once more to smell out the Aron, mostly a strong metallic smell, with the after scent of dry rock. It was a strange scent that hardly felt natural. It had a weird note of iron, that unmistakable smell. She'd remember it. She sneezed due to all the other scents in the room, so many different pokemon now invaded her nose. But, she was okay with that. The sneeze mostly cleared it, giving her relief for a little while. She barked a small bark, saying to Emberly that she liked the little Pokemon. Luckily, for Drake, Whisper wasn't often scared of Pokemon, even those bigger than her. After all... she lived in a litter that was all much larger than her, she was more or less used to it. It would make it easy to add new members to her team, but Drake wanted to still makes sure that Whisper was okay with the new members. She pet Whisper behind the ears. "Well, then it is settled, little guy. You're coming with me! But what am I going to call you? Well you do like singing... how about... Treble? Do you like that name?" The Aron sang it's 4 note song the one it sang before when it said yes to coming along. "Mental Note; That's it's happy song." Drake thought to herself, smiling. She picked up the little Aron in her other arm. Well, she tried, but the little guy was a bit too heavy. She stared at him a bit awkwardly, before she laughed it off. "Well you'll fit in around here nicely. I'm glad to have you with me Treble, we're going to be the strongest team one day. Just you wait." The Aron sang it's happy song again, but added some more notes this time. "I think I have to register you now... or something... look the professor was talking about something that sounded like paperwork so I tuned out. Bleh, screw that noise... but I guess I have to so I probably should've payed attention. I think i can figure it out."

******************

After about 15 minutes of fiddling with her Pokedex, Emberly still couldn't really figure out how the thing worked. She sighed loudly. Before putting her hand with the device in it to her head. "Man... technology is still not my strong suit at times. I guess I could ask somebody to help me out... but that be embarrassing..." she looked around to see if the Professor was still there, but even her hieght didn't help to awful much in this room with all the activity going on. She sighed loudly as she went to go looking. She was holding Whisper in her arms, while Treble trailed behind his little feet plinking on the ground as he walked. Drake tried to not walk too fast so that he could keep up. It was clear that she was more than a little flustered that she couldn't get this thing to work, she sighed in frustration yet again. "I should've listened. I'm an idiot."

Claude

Claude and Doux were one of the many students bristling with excitement. Doux had already made several laps around the room, playing with the few flying pokemon that had also been allowed free reign over the ceiling. Claude wanted desperately to run in and lay claim to a new friend but as of yet he truly could not make the choice. He had spent far too much time trying to decide what species he could possibly want and too many came to mind. So many types, so many species and evolution lines. How would he know what would work well with him and Doux? So much choice, even with the most dangerous pokemon withheld.

Claude stood still as people filtered around him. They were making their choices quite soon. It was nice they had some direction for themselves at least.

Maybe he just needed a vague idea of what he wanted. First and foremost was that the pokemon be adorable and continue to be adorable as it evolved, if it evolved. That first criteria narrowed down the choice pool. Next, maybe an adaptable type? Not a Fairy again, Claude didn't want to specialise yet. So Cleffa, Igglybuff and Togepi were out. For now, at least. Maybe it shoulld be a single typing too...

That still left a hell of a big choice.

Claude was starting to feel very irritated with himself. He shouldn't be sitting here, whiling away the time! This was a choice he couldn't make with his mind! His first friend in Ymora, that's something only his instincts would choose properly! So that's what would happen, he started walking forward, meandering through the rows of pokeballs. People were standing around, struggling to pick one pokemon over another. Claude weaved through the indecisive crowd. Eventually he came to what signs indicated was the normal type section. He then decided two paces and he's pick the nearest pokeball. Simplify things. He did so.

The label on the pokeball said Buneary. Immediately Claude felt stupid, his intuition knew more than he did. Right now he had the same feeling one felt when they recalled a detail that previously eluded them for no reason. The name of an actor, the author of a book, whatever that product was. So simple, so obvious.

Claude signalled Doux down from the ceiling, waving the pokeball at his frined.

"Wanna meet your new friend?" Doux murmured excitedly, eyes locked onto the pokeball. A yes. That was alll Claude needed to press the button on the device and loose the pokemon inside. White fluff tipped two ears and covered a good part of the Buneary's body. It looked around with cautious, no, fearful eyes. Was it afraid of the crowd? The Buneary noticed Claude and froze. Not sure whether to move. Its scared eyes now locked onto Claude, the nearest person to it.

Claude himself paused. He didn't want it to get away and have to recall it to the pokeball immediately. That would be embarrassing. So what did he do? Memories of his conversation yesterday with Drake stirred. He remembered the timid Whisper. It had taken time but curiosity had overcame fear, right? Maybe he had to let the Buneary come to him. So slowly he crouched, very, very slowly. Doux had taken the cue frm his trainer to be still and quiet as he perched on Claudes head. When he was as close to level with the buneary as possible, squatting now, he put his hands to the side, palms open and started speaking.

"Well hiya. my name's Claude. It's nice to meet you. I promise I'm a real nice guy if you come say hello."

The buneary's body language slowly, slowly shifted as Claude moved and spoke. It went from slightly more relaxed to about to bolt as Claude began speaking. However, once it became somewhat acquainted with the sound of his voice, it continued the gradual changes towards being relaxed. It took a couple of minutes after Claudes first words and he was about to move when the Buneary finally approached. It went to sniff his hands, like Whisper did. This time though it began trying to scrabble up Claudes arm to get to Doux, who obliged by floating down. Well, it wasn't proximity that scared the Buneary then. Was it just the new people surrounding the Buneary?

The bunny pokemon was still investigating him when someone from nearby yelped loudly and suddenly. The noise immediately scared the Buneary and it immediately took shelter. That shelter, funnily enough, was behind Claude, putting Claude between Buneary and the noise. Claude tried to soothe the Buneary, making soothing sounds rather than saying anything. Once more, the pokemon was calm.

Now, Claude was satisfied. The Buneary's anxious nature was endearing to him and something he was sure could be overcome. He liked Buneary. Now, did it like him?

He held up the pokeball. The Buneary looked a ti with recognition. Claude just pointed at himself and asked. "Do you wanna come with me?" To his relief, Buneary nodded

"Then you need a name. I don't really know what to call you though. So let's think about it for a while as we find someone to talk to, ok?" He made sure to keep checking with the Buneary as he spoke. When evaluated with the PDA it was found that the Buneary was a she. With that in mind, Claude walked along, Buneary in tow, as he looked for a famlliar head above the crowd nearby.

Claude & Drake

"Drake!" Claude called out as he approached. There was only a couple of rows between them and Drake was still easy to spot. "You found your partner?" He took it as a good sign that Buneary didn't leave as he yelled for his friend.

Johnny v Robert: Full Recap and Conclusion

Full Recap:

Johnny vs Robert
Eevee(Sylvia) vs Espurr(Izzy)
Moveset Eevee:
-Swift -Tackle -Quick Attack -
-Baby-Doll Eyes -Helping Hand
Moveset Espurr:
-Scratch -Covet -Confusion
-Leer -Yawn

"And same to you, Johnny." Robert took is place on the other side of the field, with Espurr hoping out of his arms and walking onto the field. She felt ready to battle with the opposing Eevee, though her species' usual stoic face didn't really show much any emotion unless you counted 'focused' as one. Kiai followed suit and jumping off of Robert's shoulder so to not hinder the battle as he watched from the sidelines "Okay, we're ready. You can go ahead and take the first move if you want."

Johnny nodded, smiling.

"Don't mind if I do."

((OOC: Here's some Battle Music.))

He then gave Sylvia a command.

"Sylvia, Quick Attack!"

In response, she sped towards Izzy, a white trail following her through the air.

"Izzy, stand your ground and Scratch it back!" The little Espurr took a step back, paw glowing white as the Eevee ran towards it. And as it felt the Eevee get close, swiped it's glowing 'claw' down towards the normal type.

Sylvia saw the Scratch coming, and decided to throw her own flair into the mix by purposefully missing so that she could quite literally run circles around Izzy, causing herself to dodge the Scratch in the process. Johnny was surprised by this, and whispered to himself under his own breath.

"Clever girl. That was quite inventive."

Johnny then spoke to Sylvia.

"All right, Sylvia, back to this side and then use Baby-doll eyes!"

Sylvia responded by speeding back to her Trainer's side of the field before stopping, turning around to face her opponent, and then staring cutely at Izzy, eyes shining.

Izzy was confused at how the Eevee not only avoided her head on attack, but didn't follow through with her own. She wasn't sure if the choice was good or bad, but it worked. Looking at where the Eevee was now, she saw the cutesy eyes, her own purple eyes showing a bit of regret.

"Izzy, show them your own looks and Leer." Robert said confidently, watching the field and hoping his voice didn't come out as much commanding as it did to a friendly request for her.

While still a bit regretful, she shook herself to attention, eyes glowing as she stared daggers at the Eevee.

Sylvia was caught off-guard by the leer, but she wasn't too phased by it. Johnny then gave a smirk, and then spoke.

"Sylvia, how about a fighting response to that? I'd appreciate it if you could Tackle her, if you wouldn't mind."

Sylvia nodded and then charged towards Izzy, not aiming directly at the Espurr, but instead aiming slightly to the side, preparing to run past the Psychic Type before attempting to hit it from behind.

"Izzy, prepare to Scratch it back!" The Espurr didn't need to respond before charging up the white claw again, trying to keep an eye on the target, but it's evasive tactics making it difficult to keep track of and prepare a counter attack.

Sylvia crashed into Izzy from behind the Espurr, but was hit by the Scratch as she returned to her Trainer's half of the field. At this, she got more than a little upset, and decided to move on her own. However, Johnny quickly put a stop to that.

"Sylvia, stay calm, that was par for the course. You might get hit some, but so does your opponent."

perhaps it's time to bust out the final move... no, not yet. one more turn...

"Sylvia, repeat the move, please."

At this, Sylvia sped towards Izzy, this time heading directly at the Espurr.

"Izzy, can you get up?" Though worried about her Izzy still got up, still ready to fight as Sylvia was running in for another attack. It was plain to see that the Eevee had the advantage at close-range... So perhaps the key was to try to get some distancing up. "Izzy, use Confusion at Sylvia." With a nod Espurr lifted it's ears just a bit, eyes glowing lightly as it launched a Psychic wave forward.

Johnny noticed the Psychic Wave, and acted quickly.

"Sylvia, call off the current attack, and counter Izzy with Swift!"

Sylvia came to a screeching halt, and then jumped into the air and swished her tail, leaving a yellow trail in the air. Star-shaped projectiles then appeared from the trail and sped around the Psychic Wave, homing in on Izzy. In the meantime, Sylvia had been hit by the Wave, and had been knocked back onto her Trainer's side of the Field, still on her paws. She seemed to be a bit tired, though, and Johnny noticed that she was tired.

"Espurr-" Robert only had the time to call out, Espurr yelping as she was hit by the Stars before she'd be able to react, sliding back with her ears clenched. She was panting, still left standing. She felt she had one more hit in her, one more chance to turn around. "Espurr, are you-" Before he could finish, she turned her head back and nodded, looking back at her opponent. "Okay... Espurr, try to finish it off with a Scratch!" She gave a slight grin as she heard the command, running to the Eevee with the glowing claw, ready to make the last stand.

Johnny and Sylvia both noticed Izzy running in for the final move, and both knew that it was time to finish the Battle. Johnny spoke to Sylvia.

"You know what to do, girl."

At this, Sylvia nodded, a grin on her face, and charged full tilt towards Izzy, preparing to tackle the espurr one final time.

While being able to hit with the Scratch, the Tackle had thrown her back and into the ground. While she did try, Izzy failed to get up this time, stuck on her back with no energy left. While Kiai sighed from the sidelines at the loss, Robert smiled at how close they got. "Welp, guess you and Sylvia won this time Johnny."

Conclusion:

Johnny gave Robert a friendly smile of his own.

"Hey, you did a great job, too. That certainly was a close Battle."

Meanwhile, Sylvia had walked back over to Johnny. Then, Johnny knelt down, and gave her two Oran Berries, which she promptly ate, visibly regaining her energy almost immediately afterwards. Ignizelka and Sylvia then had a quick conversation, with Ignizelka congratulating Sylvia on her victory. Sylvia blushed in response, and thanked Ignizelka. Johnny noticed Sylvia blushing, and one of his eyebrows rose as he wondered what they'd been talking about, even though he knew that he'd never truly know.

"Hehe, defidently was." Robert smiled back at Johnny with a nod, feeling that they did all they lost fair and square. Letting out a sigh of relief, he went onto the field to get to Izzy.

She sighed when she saw him, disappointed that she lost the battle, that he had to make his was over to her. Her face changed, though, when he pulled an Oran Berry out for her. "You did good during that Izzy. Guess today was just one loss, hmm?" He grined the the Espurr with the Berry held out to her, and eventually she took it in her stubby hands and started to eat, much to both of their delight. As she finished she tried to get up once again with her regained strength, surprised to see the Riolu's paw held out to her as well. With a few cries coming from the Kiai, she nodded back and took the help, stumbling back to her feet as she grinned at her similar sized partner. Yes, this would be her team. And hopefully, it would be for the better, at least in her mind.

"Um, sure?" Kage wasn't entirely certain where the girl's apparent horror at asking him to battle came from. "Do I have something on my face or what?" Though the girl did seem to be painfully shy, perhaps it wasn't his fault. "Uh, let's head over to one of the fields."

Ragnar

“Hiro it is then. And yes, that's my Turtwig. I met him when I was helping out at a local Daycare close to the orphanage I grew up in. Apparently he was abandoned by his trainer.. We're not that close yet, as you can see he ignores me from time to time, but I decided to go with my gut and take him with me.”

While Kay was telling his story, a Pokéball at the end of the dark type table opened by itself. A small, purple feline Pokémon jumped out on her own and stretched a little. That big human sure was fun. She had him chase her all over the place. Not to mention his face was hilarious when she released even more of her fellow troublemakers. Maybe she could do something similar again? With all these students running around creating chaos would be easy. But where to start...

Suddenly her eye fell on a small, snoring thing that she had never seen before. And on it's head was something irresistable: a moving leaf. The Devious Pokémon made a dash for it and jumped straight onto the snoring Turtwig while chomping on his head in an attempt to get those leaves. A loud cry could be heard as the grass type got scared and tried to run off, only to be chased by the dark type who seemed to enjoy the little cat and mouse game.

“Herman! Dammit, where did that thing come from?” Kay yelled. He had no choice but to chase after his Pokémon to try and calm it down.

Drake & Claude

Of course, being stuck in her own little world someone saying her name out of nowhere, more than startled Drake. She nearly jumped out of her skin before taking a breather and calming down a little. She turned to face where the voice had come from, and lo and behold it was the Coordinator from before and his Cottonee. "I guess it's not that bad. If it had to be anyone kinda glad it's him." she thought to herself. Drake waved awkwardly, not really registering at first Claude had asked a question. Having been flustered by the nerves of trying to get her Pokedex to work, she was a mess at the moment.

It dawned on her face that he asked a question, quite suddenly and abruptly. "Oh, uh yes...yes I did! I found one." Following her over was the tiny Aron, while it would probably normally be a bit difficult to see in a crowd if you weren't looking, it was large enough to see if you were looking directly at the person who had chosen it. Especially... if she was that tall and you were looking directly at her. The silvery little metal creature stood out pretty heavily against the more muted blue colour of Drake's jeans. His little blue eyes sparkled with a light happniess as he had found his new master. This one was a lot more confident then the puppy she was carrying it would seem. "Well, his name is Treble, cause he likes to sing. Pretty odd for an Aron." as if she asked him to, Treble started to sing his happy song, 7 notes now. He seemed to keep adding a few each time he sang it. "And... I think he's a boy but... I've not be able to get my Pokedex to work." Drake said her face turning bright red. She looked down nearly instantly, burying her own face in Whisper's fur. It would be hard to tell where Whisper began and Emberly's hair ended, if it weren't for Whisper's black stripes. "I'm... not very good with technology. I'm a bit of a failure aren't I?" She said not looking up. It was a bit muffled and probably a bit hard to hear.

Claude & Drake

Claude nodded along as Drake spoke absently, trying to listen despite the unnerving presence the was the Aron. Treble, was it? Claude has never liked Rock types. Smaller ones wouldn't send him screaming but, well, Aggrons quite literally represented the worst a rock type could get. Arons weren't much better, smaller they may have been.

Claude eyes detached themselves as he caught Drakes last self-depreciative words.

"I hardly think you're being fair on yourself. It's ridiculously easy to get confused with technology, why do you think the elderly struggle with it, despite handling way more in their lives? If I hadn't ived in Kalos where the leader tried implementing as much tech as possible, I'd be struggling myself." Claude took out his own pokedex, showing it to Drake. "Do as I do." Claude then showed her the process to checking the Buneary's status on his pokedex. He gave the moveset another scan before putting the machine away.

As it was scanned though, as Claude was before, Buneary was staring at Treble with wariness in her eyes. And maybe just a little, nigh imperceptible amount of disdain.

"Um, sure?…Do I have something on my face or what?" The boy had asked. It was an odd question. Mie was going to try and respond to that though the words would not come out. Though, it really did not matter. The boy seemed to hand wave that question shortly after. "Uh, let's head over to one of the fields."

"Yes! Let's!" She said in a high-speed but happy voice. She beelined for the nearest open battle field while waving over to her opponent (and his Pokemon) to signal them over.

"Yeah. It's alright. Everything will be just fine," she muttered. As she turned to look at her new partner, she loosened her muscles. "You ready for this, Yukiko?"

The little Snow Hat Pokemon nodded with a pumped up cry in response.

Drake & Claude

Drake watched closely while Claude went through the motions, she tried to match them. She messed up a few more times before finally getting it. She finally got to the part she could actually scan in her new partner. She sighed a great big sigh of relief as a lot of the tension flew away. "Thanks a million Claude." she said in a really quiet voice, a bit of nerves still standing at the forefront of her mind. She quickly scanned in the little Aron.

He made a strange note, one that sounded like he was shivering a little. Perhaps he wasn't too fond of the scanning. Either way it was over quickly. It registered his move set, and all the other information about him

Species: Aron

Nickname: <Enter Text Here>

Gender: Male

Level: 5

Moveset: Rock Tomb, Metal Claw, Mud Slap, Stomp, Automatize, Screech.

Drake quickly entered Treble into the blinking field that was for a nickname. "I knew you were a boy, you're so cute." she said petting Treble's head. It was rather cold, almost like touching a Refrigerator, it was probably just because he'd been in his ball most of the day. She wondered why he didn't heat up much though with all the activity in the room. Either way he sang his happy song, which made Drake smile. "I wish I could pick you up, but I think you're a bit heavy, let me try." she said now not needing to use her Pokedex. She heaved up the small metal mon with all her might. He was indeed, very heavy for one arm. However she managed to pick him up and hold him. Treble let out a surprised note, shrill and a little startling, probably being startled himself, But he found himself in the arm of his trianer next to the cute little puppy that had sniffed him earlier. Whisper licked his nose to say hello, and Treble warbled in response. He was happy to be face to face with his new friend. "He's heavy, not too heavy though. Anyway, thanks for helping meout Cluade really... I kinda wasn't paying attention when the Professor mentioned how to do that the other day... it just sounded like work... Paperwork so I wasn't very interested and tuned it out. Guess... I need to know it though." She sighed. She looked more than a little silly, a giant girl holding a small bright orange puppy in one arm and a metallic lizard like creature in the other. Whisper kept licking his nose while Treble warbled... almost like a song bird. It was really strange sight to behold. How on earth Drake manage to hold Treble was beyond her, though the longer she did the less heavy he felt, though he was still noticeably heavier than Whisper.

Claude & Drake

"Nah, no need for thanks" Claude said, waving away the thanks with a grin. He actually enjoyed it a hell of a lot but modesty was a virtue. Or was it humility? Being demure? Nah, that didn't sound right. Whatever it was, Claude was trying not to look like a jerk.

The group watched as Drake tried to pick up Treble. Doux was simply curious whilst Claude was baffled (Why would you want to pick it up?). Buneary however, was irritated. When Treble wss succesfully picked up, Buneary started scrabbling at Claudes leg, trying to get him to do the same. Claude looked down, even more confused at the sudden change in the pokemon's demeanour.

"Weren't you scared of everything and anything not five minutes ago?" He asked. Buneary continued to scrabble at his leg. Claude leant over and obliged, holding Buneary in his arms whilst Doux rested on his head. This done, Buneary continued glaring at Treble. Now Claude noticed this though. Hard not to when the Buneary was in his arms.

"Why do you keep glaring at Treble?" Claude glanced apologetically at Drake as he asked this of Buneary. She just kept glaring, unable to answer even if she wanted to.

Drake & Claude

"I dunno, maybe she's not fond of Steel types? It seems a bit silly, but Pokemon are like people at times in that they have wide personalities. Honesty what I like about them most, they are so expressive at times." She said, noticing the Buneary staring. Worse possibly was that Treble noticed, however... not in quite the way one would think. He was oblivious to the fact that she was glaring at him. He just sang another happy song, this time at 9 notes. Drake didn't really notice, lost in thought. "Well, you said that your little friend there was timid and quiet at first, but after I picked up this guy..." she said shifting the arm with Treble in it "She starting tugging at your pants. Maybe she's jealous? I dunno, I've never really seen a Pokemon act quite like that, it's pretty intriguing. She said unintentionally staring right at the Buneary. It wasn't intimidating and more out of absent curiosity, though how a Pokemon would know that was a different question.

For a Turtle, it sure can run fast. Toshiro thought to himself and was quite surprised by the sudden appearance the mischievous black cat right in front of them.

"Oh dear it looks like you have your hands full, I'll go ahead and pick my mon and meet you back here, Kay. If you need any help I'll be at the ground section.." Toshiro said as Kay ran off to chase Herman and went off in a different direction.

At the Ground Section

As Toshiro walks towards the tables, Midori was a bit hesitant and kept on looking where the Turtwig is. Midori was quite concerned about his fellow grass starter Pokemon as he chases off Toshiro heading towards the crowd. "saur..bulba..saur" The Bulbasaur tugs Toshiro's jeans with its vines.

"Don't worry this won't take long, Midori, Besides I'm pretty sure Kay can handle it. " Toshiro said without looking at his Bulbasaur while grabbing and inspecting each of the pokeballs in front of him. "like he said, He grew up working close in the daycare. I'm certain he can manage this sort of things" Toshiro said and looks at his bulbasaur with a smile.

"Ah! here it is, i'm glad it isn't taken yet" Toshiro reaches down and finally found what he's looking for, A safari ball with the labelled 'Phanpy' on it. Toshiro grabs the capsule and scans it with his pokedex, registering his second pokemon. Toshiro then clicks the button in the middle of the ball and poof! a bright red light flashes and out comes a cute blue dwarf elephant. As soon as he saw his master, The playful phanpy raises its trunk and release a trumpet sound. The tiny elephant then charges with its snout up and jump on Toshiro with such force, flooring him in the process. "Uff.." Toshiro fell on his back as the Phanpy snuggles above him.

"What is this guy thinking getting an elephant as a pet? "

"i think i'll probably stick to a more domesticated pokemon,. i don't want a phanpy no more"

"Yeah, I was thinking of getting rhyhorn before, but after what happened, I might get a patrat or something that's easier to tame, something that won't trample me in the process." A few students saw what happened and started to laugh while walking away.

"Heh, you sure a playful one, but with that strength, you should be more careful." Toshiro chuckled as he picks himself up and feels his back. Phanpy wags its floppy ears as it looks at Toshiro. Midori saw what happened and rushed in to check on his master.

Phanpy then saw Midori in front of him and playfully shoved the seed pokemon with its trunk, resulting for Midori to fall on his side. Bulbasaur quickly gets up and barks at the elephant for doing that. Clearly he was irked at Phanpy's playful antics. Phanpy just smiles and swings its ears from side to side.

"now-now, play nice you two.." Toshiro said as he pats the head his two mons. "Hmm, i think you need a name, and seeing that you hit like a tank, I think i'll call you Panzer.." Toshiro said to Phanpy as he cleans the dirt off his shirt.

"Come you, you two.. let's go meet Kay and see hows he's doing." Toshiro said as head towards where he last saw Kay.

Kay stood next to the table with Dark type Pokémon, wiping the sweat of his forehead. Herman, the Turtwig, had found a save haven in his arms while the Purrloin was purring and rubbing against his legs. It had taken him a few intense minutes to be able to convince the Turtwig to run towards him so he could catch the devilish cat. In the end the young RoG member was forced to dive on his grassy turtle. The result was a Purrloin rubbing against his legs. She was impressed with how quick this young human was able to solve the situation. Maybe he could prove to be a challenge? Might as well follow him and see how things play out.

“Guess I got no choice, huh? I'll take you with me, Miss Spoiled Princess.”

The Devious Pokémon purred even harder after hearing the word Princess. “So you like that? I shorten it to Princess,” Kay joked. “Now where is Toshiro? I still have to challenge someone so I might as well get to know this guy...”

After searching the crowd, Kay managed to find his neighbour rather easily. “Hey, Toshiro!” he called out. “Want to battle?”

((OOC: You can lead them both towards a battlefield to initiate the battle. After that you can start the actual battle in the Battlethread. You can also have the first move.))

Claude & Drake

((Sorry it took so long))

Claude frowned at the buneary in his arms that was still unabashedly glaring at the Aron. "Well, I don't want this to be a thing for long. What better way to work out grievances than a battle?" He looked Drake in the eyes, making it clear he was addressing her with the question.

Drake & Claude

((It's no problem dude, no worries!))

"Well, I suppose I need to find a battle anyway it might as well be with a friend for now!" Drake said, she would've put her fist in the air, but she was busy holding her Pokemon. One of which was still really heavy. "Anyway, I'm sure it's nothing serious, perhaps he's jsut having a bad day. She's still pretty cute though, even if she's super mad for whatever reason." Drake giggled looking at the Buneary in Claude's arms. Even if it was glaring, it... looked really silly and cute rather than intimidating. This was probably the reason Treble didn't even notice, hell he was whistling in delight still. Sounds much more fitting of a bird Pokemon than an Aron for sure. "Anyway, after you Mister Coordinator, Lead me to the battlefield! I know it's not where you'd most likely want to be but it should be a spot of fun." Drake said with a bow. even with the two Pokemon in her arms. She nearly lost her balance due to the difference in weight, but she hid it very well probably well enough that if Claude wasn't a Coordinator who might have an eye for such a thing, he'd never notice. Whisper went along with it pretty well also bowing her head in an effort to do what Emberly was doing. Treble had a silly look on his face as if he didn't know what was happening. It look a little panicked like he thought he'd slip out of her hand. His warbling sopped for the moment he was that petrified.
