Probably Blake. An I also think Fern will be Champ because I would like to have a Rival as a Champion again and between Fern and Cain, Fern makes more sense. I'd say either Linn or Anna now. I think we all know that Linn is a pretty strong trainer so it'd be fitting for her to be the Champion, and something like what happened in Black/White could happen in Reborn, the only issue with this is that we already know she's going to die from Shade's Gym's prediction so... who'd replace her? inb4 its the player character and we can't rechallenge the e4 from the point we beat the game Anna is pretty mysterious... we don't know her position in the league yet but it should be high, at least an E4. Also, if Anna were to hold a position as high as the Champion's, that would explain why she interrupted Noel when he almost revealed her position in the game ("and Anna is..." iirc). Regarding the two missing E4 members, as I've said on a different post, I think they're going to be Blake and Cal. All we know about their position is that "they used to be gym leaders". Maybe they quit this position to be part of the E4? I mean, they must have retired for a reason, no? He was the reserve poison leader until what happened and Aya moaned about this before you battle her. I think either Anna, Lin or Fern will be the champion even though Fern is a scrub, it could still happen after what happens with Team Meteor. The reason Cal retired in-game was something linked to Shelly's timidness( he mentions this the first time you see him on Pyrous) but in the online league he retired because Blake did but I can see Blake being an E4 member however. I recall Aya mentioning that he was supposed to be the replacement for Corey. Why would Anna need protection ever if she was worlds stronger than the entire group. It's not Fern because well f#$k Fern. However, Anna isn't like that from what we've seen and she will remain that way. There is the possibility however that we haven't met the champion yet like you said. Remember there's still the question of who Anna and Noel's parents were in the first place, and Anna is visibly upset when she has the Amethyst Pendant taken from her with Sirius hinting that he knew who her parents were. She might be the daughter of a deceased Reborn champion. Actually, all of the previous holders of the keys seem to be related in some way (Heather's mother with the Ruby Ring, Anna's parents with the Amethyst Pendant, and it's strongly hinted that the Sapphire Bracelet was in the possession of Charolette/Saphira/Laura's parents before the fire that orphaned them, and most likely Lin has the Emerald Brooch), but we have no idea how because most if not all of them are deceased, leaving their children to wonder... We should all know from Gen 1 that Fern is most DEFINITELY a possibility, although his tenure by the time the player arrives could be VERY short. 2. I seem to remember somewhere on the forums (and I may be foolin' myself) that Amethyst having denied the answer being her in-game counterpart. She could be lying, but I don't think it's Ame. 3. Due to the dialogue (and I've said this before somewhere) Anna is a reasonable guess. I'm not sure if this is less so by the events in E13 though. I'm a little bit behind. 4. With regards to Team Meteor, I wouldn't be terribly surprised at all if they had infiltrated the League. ...now it's my turn to offer something up, and it's not terribly impressive speculation, but it is so nonetheless. The champion of the Reborn League quite possibly could be Solaris. With regards to Team Meteor, Solaris has yet to shirk off the obligatory notion that we are supposed to hate him, and his story is largely veiled behind this notion. Solaris is bad, End of Story. The space for speculation with this character, is in turn quite large. Garchomp most definitely is a Pokemon used in the OverUsed tier competitively, is Sinnoh's pseudo-legendary, and in the games is notably used by Sinnoh "Champion" Cynthia. Another Pokemon that we know Solaris has is Tyranitar, which is Johto's pseudo-legend and is ALSO used often in OU. I know that this will lead some to believe that I'm implying that Solaris has a type theme, but another Champion that did have said type theme was Steven, of Hoenn. My theory is this. Solaris, a ground-type "enthusiast" -not specialist- could potentially drop off the rader and show up at the very end of the league. Imagine, a PUPPET of Team Meteor (we all know Lin is the mastermind behind Meteor) proving to be a worthy opponent and the final obstacle in the player's way to achieving his or her goal. Notable things about Solaris. - Under the Grand Stairway, Solaris provides some monologue about the secret door under the stairway and ALLOWS you to take Victoria and leave, leaving Aster and Eclipse behind and slightly confused. - Atop Pyrous Mountain, he managed to order Cal to do his bidding. Due to Cal's obvious disdain for Elite Four member Blake, Cal secretly sabotages the PULSE only to fall victim to assumption and misfortune. If Blake serves Solaris in some way, and their association is that of E4 member-Champion, it would make sense for Cal to have a disdain for Solaris. - During the PULSE Muk incident, Solaris orders his pokemon to attack Amaria - but only AFTER his plans fail and ZEL can't protect the PULSE from the player. Again, due to League connections, it would make sense for Solaris to hold back from killing a colleague. - You don't, or we have yet to, see Ame (in-game) and Solaris interact.
