Hey guys and gals, how's all going, this is just to inform you that i'm gonna be doing a special kind of RP on the reborn server on Pokemon Online, and to give invite you to join, i will be on track on special info, such as the pokemon you catch, number of items, and other kinds of special RP related stuff.

Now, the rules are simple, to join you must log into the pokemon reborn sever of pokemon online, when the adventure is about to start i will announce it, asking people to go to a special channel for this, announcements will be made once in a while to keep people informed that the adventure is going on, the main theme of this is a special and funny (and a little creepy) new way of playing, all commands will be written (to bring the charm of old school browser based games back), however, you must use the teambuilder to make your team with the pokemon you get, since gym battles will be made via me challenging you with the leader's team.

Rules for the pokemon:

To give you a little freedom, your pokemon can use any move they can learn, no matter if it's tutor or egg move, IVs and EVs are also at your choose and can be changed depending on wich gym leader you challenge (sometimes you will have no time to change it, since i might give you a surprise challenge), pokemon will gain levels in battle depending on their current levels and their actions, instead of a set amount of xp, for example: caterpie will give at least 1 lvl to any pokemon that battles it, as long as the pokemon is under level 15, pokemon evolutions will be done the same way they would normally go, except for happynes evolutions, i will take decision on when the pokemon evolves based on the way you treat your pokemon (using items will help, but sending your pokemon constantly to fight, if it's not a battle-like pokemon, might delay the evolution) therefore, you should treat your pokemon the way you would if they were real, now, trade evolutions are allowed, however, since not too many like to trade in this kind of stuff, there will also be special items that will help you evolve your pokemon.

Rules for gym leaders and special events:

Following the reborn idea, there will be 18 gym leaders (one of each type) gym leaders will have 6 pokemon each, pokemon levels will be based on the current number of badges the player possesses, gym leaders can be challenged in any order the player decides, in case a player wants to challenge a gym leader the narrator (me), will send the challenge to the player, this will take the players full turn, no matter how long the battle is, the same thing goes for special event battles (such as finding a legendary), however, if the player succeds on defeating the event battle, he/she might get a chance to do another action (like trying to catch, or dealing a final blow)

Rules for turns:

The turns will be taken on list order, so, players with special symbols might get a preferencial treatment, however, this will only apply to their turn order and nothing else, turns might be longer or shorter (hopefully all short) depending on the decitions being made, if two players are in the same area (i will tell wich other players are in the area), they can share a turn, making bonds with other players might help you get special events and other stuff, however, this can only be done as long as they both have their turn available on the round, a player can also use his/her turn to challenge another player, however only the challenger player's turn will be used, while the challenged will still keep its turn on the round, you can also challenge players who have already used their turns.

Happenings and special events:

To give a more special atmosphere to this, some special events can be triggered with certain actions, you never know when it's gonna happen, so stay alert, because the decisions made during these events will change what happens in your future during the adventure.

Wild battles and trainer battles:

As i explained before, all pokemon will give levels when defeated based on your pokemon levels and the type of pokemon you face, however, there will be special pokemon known as route guardians, who will always give the same amount of levels (since they will gain levels at the same pace you do), if a move will OHKO a pokemon, or the pokemon gets put in red healt, it won't do any move and you can catch it, however, if you don't want to catch it, you can always give it the final blow and get XP, all the rules before will apply to trainer battles too (you will be able to steal trainers pokemons, but you will need a special pokeball), you should also be carefull what you get your pokemon into, since they can die if you aren't careful, wild pokemon and trainer pokemon can also die, and this will affect somve future events.

For now that's all, stay tuned, i will be waiting for you, on future days i will edit this to show all players information, such as pokemon levels, money owned and items.

Ability: Hypercharge, Electric type moves are powered up and deal neutral damage to ground types, moves that must recharge are recharged immediately and are usable again, both effects will use the hypercharge and it will take 2 turns to regain the hypercharge

Moveset: Pikachu can now use Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon and Hyper Thunder

Ability: Sheer Force

Ninetales (Mistic):

Item: Mistic Orb

Type: Fire/Psichic

Ability: Mistic Fire, All fire type moves deal bonus psychic damage and psychic moves have a 30% chance to burn

Ninetales (Necro):

Item: Spell tag

Type: Fire/Ghost

Ability: Necro Fire, All fire type moves deal bonus ghost damage and ghost moves have a 30% chance to burn

Parasect:

Ability: Parasitic body, on contact leaves a parasite on the targets body, the target loses health each turn

1. What are the starting levels for pokemon

2. How many pokes can we start with

3. Will we be using a battle sim like pokemon showdown?

1.- lvl 5

2.- 1 Pokemon + 5 pokeballs

3.- It will be made on the Pokemon Reborn Server of Pokemon Online

Time to talk a new mechanic, specially because i would like your opinions on it, it's called "Magna Evolution", like mega evolution, it will last for only during battle, however, the way to get it is a little different, i will use a special point system that consists on the type combination of the user and the rival, ex: Lucario vs Gardevoir, Lucario is neutral to both fairy and psychic meaning that on weakness he will be on 0, steel is superefective on fairy adding a +1 however fighting is pretty much inefective against both fairy and psychic adding a -2, then, we end up that lucario is at -1 against gardevoir so, magana evolution is possible; all magana evolutions are possible as long as the pokemon is in type disadvantage (negative numbers) and some will be on neutral numbers

Now the way of using the magna evolution is actually pretty simple, i will add special abilities that can be used outside gym battles to help you and make a little easier some events, some pokemon will get a type change and will be able to use different moves (i will tell you the first time you get it).

There will be 2 types of magna evolution: Normal and Karma

And for the real deal here, i need to know what you guys think: Should pokemon that already have a mega evolution receive a magna evolution?, if your answer is yes, then, which ones should? because i don't want people complaining that i gave, let's say Charizard, a magna evolution when it already has 2 mega evolutions

Would this work on the server? If so, I think only those that don't have a Mega.

Well, if you mean that if they will work on live battles, then the answer is no, however they will happen on written battles, and it will happen pretty much inmediately (i will tell that the magna element is reacting and causing the evolution), that's why i give the choice to select live battle or written battle on gyms and special events

I just want to inform that due to some internal troubles (me having a job from monday to thursday), this will be going on weekends, starting on this saturday, it won't have an specific time, if you see me logged in the server then is on, and i don't care how many decide to actually join, i want to do this and i will do it even if there's just 1, might be a litle unfair to make the 1 that plays alone a day get more advanced, but if you want that to not happen, then come and join us

hey guys and gals, what's up, all right, i have made my decision on the magna evolutions, thanks to all the people who actually took time to pm me and give me their oppinions, and, well, just as i thought, a lot wanted pokemon with mega evolutions to stay away from magna, however, a lot of others actually gave me good reasons to give some pokemon a magna evolution, i will put an update on the topic showing the pokemon that will get a magna evolution, changes on them and the items needed to get it

Yea, the spoiler tags can be goofy sometimes. Anyway, now this way people can click it open to see them rather then scrolling through them to find everything. ((like if they are looking for say one in 3rd Gen, they can just go to 3rd Gen and skip some of the scrolling.)) anyways goo luck with the project here.

Sorry for no updates on this past weeks, my job kept me really busy, lucky for you guys and gals, my contract ended on the past thursday so......... yeah......... and don't worry, the list of magna evolutions is almost finished, and i'm still accepting ideas for other magna and changes on the ones that are already on

@Shadoon, did i miss the fun? i mean can i still enter the tournament-thingy you're organizing? it seems really intresting, also the text was too long for me to read so please explain to me a little more :D
