Weather Based Events Thread (Please check the note about E15)

Ok my idea is simple. I know there is a Pokemon guide but is it more easy if we make a list of events that happens only on some weather conditions or even night/day on that weather. So anyone who has a windy day can do all of them in that day and every rainy event on that day. Easy right?

So anyone who want to help?

I will start with what I remember right now and I will update the list with any new info.

NOTE ABOUT EPISODE 15:

With Episode 15 coming out soon lot of those events will be change and be outdated so be careful about that, especially if you are a new player!

Some of you may have notice my absence from the forum in the past few months, that's b/c I have very limited free time. So that means that I can't make the edits right after the release. I will have more free time probably on late June - mid July to make the edits that are necessary (except if I snatch some time early than that)

So that means that the help from you guys is a must, so please keep posting the changes and any new event.

New players better check the last posts about E15 events/changes.

That doesn't matter, I think. I caught Eevee as soon as I got to the Forrest (well, almost as soon as), but only got to the train post-E14.

I've never actually seen the book that you guys are mentioning. In fact, I'm not even sure how to enter the train you guys are talking about. Probably seems like a really dumb question, but how do I do that? I've tried approaching the train from all angles, assuming we're talking about the train that shows up in town near the entrance.

Actually, if you go back to the forest after defeating the PULSE Abra, you're able to get by without all the disappearing stuff. Some new paths open up, and you can find the lost train in the south of the woods. You can enter the front car of that on the right side at the very end of where you can walk.

But I never knew this until after I went to Agate so I never got to read it. I did, however, find the cave and Eevee the first time I was in the forest though, so like Etesian said, it shouldn't matter as far as Eevee goes.

Hey about the tyrogue... it can be during windy weather. I posted it on the other guide (location v2) while i was literally standing in front of the guy (it was daytime however). Feel free to confirm and change but like I said, literally in front of the guy in windy.

Anyone can confirm it? I think I was try it first on clear and nothing happened but maybe I'm wrong

I'm in the process of trying to catch Joltik. Last night when I save at around 11 pm, it was windy weather and joltik was there. When I fired up the game to catch him now (1:39 AM) the weather was thundering and rainy and Joltik disappeared from the screen once everything loaded. He/She wasn't there before night time either.

Haven't checked clear, but I can confirm windy and reject thunderstorm weather.

From the screenshot I've seen, you need to get there on a Tauros but I'm not sure how to get over the ledge when there's tall grass all around and I can't proceed with a Tauros :| If anyone has any tips or a video, that'd be great (also is there anything you need to do (i think i've read somewhere something about placing honey on trees but no idea)

1. Get some Honey. There are three ways. Either you have a Taddiursa or a Combee with Honey Gather and you go grinding, or you go to Nyus house in North Aventurine Woods (not far from where Joltik is) and trade whatever sweets you have (Ice Cream, Red Hots, Peppermint etc) for Honey (you can buy these sweets in the Obsidia Candy Shop), or you can buy Honey for 1000 apiece in the Lapis Flower Shop, which is the most costly way of getting it.

2. In the North and South Aventurive Woods are some large trees, with their bark exposed, always near obstacles. Click on them, put Honey on them, take 250 steps and a pair of Heracross and Pinsir fighting will appear.

3. If the nearby obstacle is a tree trunk, fight Heracross. If it is a spider web, fight Pinsir. After you take them down, the other Pokemon will clear the obstacle and disappear.

Do this all over the place and you'll clear the way not only to Joltik, but to other nice goodies as well.

Could anyone please verify the time among morning, day, and night? I'm looking for Zorua, and you all said day, so I thought it is day (6pm) in my game (and it is windy), but no Zorua. :c I'd like to double check, if possible.

EDIT: Okay, it's looking like you will -find- Zorua at a windy night, but catch it during the day afterward. Not sure if it's right. Found Zorua at the windy night disguised as a Murkrow, but it fled. Got Zangoose and Murkrow, but no Zorua since, looked in all of the alleys at least twice. No zorua. Will look again tomorrow, when it's daytime. May comes back to confirm.

That black fox only appeared at night for me. Just remember that there are 5 different alleways where Zorua might be hiding. Make sure you've already catched Zangoose, Murkrow, Teddiursa and Zigzagoon.

Knew there's 5 alleys though, no Zorua. And I gotta catch Teddiursa then? I already caught Zigzagoon, sooo...haven't had a clear day yet, and I haven't been able to find Teddiursa, after its fourth escape.

I wish the list would be a wee bit more updated/detailed, if Zorua is a bit more complicated to get than stated.

EDIT: Caught Teddiursa. Zorua finalllyyyy appears! Goodness. However, I tried resetting for a shiny Zorua, but it seemed very set into being male and normal colors. Resetted for about 50x, nada on any changes.

Is Zorua really already set as a normal and male Zorua? I resetted for a black Teddiursa, took easily 10 tries before I got the shiny bear. :/

Ok I've found some things which are not up to date (E15):

- It's windy and I can't find Zorua in any alley, it probably needs to be night for the first encounter. (I'll check later.)

- Found Tropius in Rhodocrine Jungle, not sure why you marked it as false.

- Found Electrike in Obsidia alley attacked by two Mightienas. Not sure what whether it was but it probably won't appear next to Julia's Gym anymore.

- Found Pichu on Onyx rooftop during daytime (weather is probably correct).

- Mudkip was replaced by Squirtle in E15.

- Misdreavus event in Byxbysion was removed in E15 (Misdreavus replaced Gastly in different event which is not weather based.)
