“I would’ve called him back if he listened to me,” Logan replied. “I guess I don’t have a choice.” He grabbed Crush’s capsule and was about to force the turtle back, when it saw what he was planning. For the first time since the battle started, Crush ignored Pimparella and eyed Logan with a look that said it wouldn’t forgive the cadet if he used the capsule. “Sorry Crush, it’s for your own good.”

Logan faced Clint again. “Sorry about that,” he said trying to keep his cool. He would sort out the problems with Crush later. “Do you want to continue with Pimparella? Flora can sub in, unless you want to start the next match.”

Clint looked up at Pimparella, it seemed like she seemed capable of continuing. The first water attack had only glazed her, while the second more direct shot came after the turtle had already been weakened. However, the Onix seemed a little rambunctious. She was eyeing up the little grass dinosaur, in the same way she normally looked at water types. But, there was no way in hell that thing was a water type and that's all that she'd ever been weak against. Clint shrugged off the suspicions and decided he'd find out in battle. "You might as well get your new GAO some practice against the best," He looked up at Pimparella who growled gleefully at Clint's decision. "So go ahead, I'll even give the newbie a free shot."

“Flora, you’re up” Logan said. The friendly dinosaur ran over to him, rubbed her head against his chest and took her place on the training field. Her expression changed when she showed the same determination while fighting Crush. “Show them what you can do!”

Flora’s leaf began to glow as she released a series of razor sharp leaves at her opponent.

Clint's ears rang from Pimparella's scream. The leaves had gashed right through the Onix's rocky exterior, leaving too gapes in her snake like figure. Clint quickly realized that Logan's newest GAO would give Pimparella a tough fight. "Get under ground girl!" Clint screamed out to the massive Onix. The snake agreed and quickly began burrowing underground. Clint took the final drag of his cigarette. He hoped the little trick he'd used on Erick would be enough to pull out the win in this fight.

The swarm of mutant bees came circling around once more. However, this time Jory's GAOs were prepared for the brunt of the attack. The newly evolved Oliver was leaping from bee to bee, driving them to the ground so that Neffi and Eve would be able to attack them. Emma joined Oliver in his aerial assault, dealing heavy damage to each bee she forced down. Between the two of them, they managed to bring down eight bees, but only fatally wounded two. Neffi leapt into the fray, lashing out with her claws and teeth as she began ripping into the bees on the ground, executing four them with her powerful hind legs. Eve came out of the ground underneath a bee and landed on its head, putting the beast out of its misery. Ryu stayed along the perimeter of the fight, using his bulletlike speed and his fists to intercept attacks directed at the cleanup crew, while Emma swooped in and took out the last one bee on the ground.

Suddenly, the bees retreated back toward the woods. A rather loud buzzing could be heard once more. Can we get a break? Jory asked himself, preparing for another fight. Out of the woods flew the five remaining bees as though in procession, followed by several of what appeared to be flying... bits of honeycomb? Upon closer inspection, they appeared to be several bees melded together into a bit of honeycomb.

Behind the newly arrived honeybees flew what was clearly the bee in charge. It was an extremely large, bee that appeared to be wearing a dress. It was significantly larger than any of the bees with lances for arms, but did not appear to be armed in the same manner. She buzzed furiously, indicating her rage at the destruction of her hive members.

Jory quickly raised his wrist and pressed the side buttons on the scanner, holding it up to the new hostile. He waited a few moments as the bees began to advance toward the group more cautiously than before, then looked back at the scanner.

The trainer turned to Kenny. "This is gonna be a tough fight. Are you ready?"

Logan was surprised at the damage Flora did. He was about to complement her when he realized they were still battling Clint. “Fill that hole with your poisonous powder!” The Dinosaur hurried over to the hole Pimparella created and sprinkled purple powder at the entrance, waiting for the rocksnake to show up again.

Clint mumbled a curse to himself as he saw the green dinosaur run over to the hole and attempt to poison his GAO. He knew he was out of time, the longer Pimparella stayed in that hole, the more the poison would eat at her. Clint flicked his burnt out cigarette right next to the green dinosaur. As soon as the butt hit the dirt, the ground began to rumble. Clint smirked, hoping the sheer force would be enough to take out Logan's partner. The ground stopped shaking and suddenly the Onix's head burst through the ground, right bellow the fallen cigarette.

Kenny turned to Jory.

"I'm as ready as i'll ever be. let's do this."

He then turned to the Hostile GAOs, ready to issue Commands to his GAOs. After a few seconds, he looked back at Jory.

"These newcomers look like Bug/Flying Type GAOs... Our Electric, Fire, and Flying-Type GAOs will be very useful. However, this also means that Grass and Fighting Type GAOs won't have much of an effect on them."

he then looked back at the Hostiles.

Flora was sent flying by the force of the impact, but didn’t seem to take too much damage. “Are you alright?” Logan asked. He didn’t want to take any risks and decided to show Clint everything Flora was capable of. “Heal yourself.” The leaf on Flora’s head along with her buds and toes started to glow a bright white color as she took in sunlight. The few small bruises she had instantly disappeared. “What do you think about that little trick?” Logan asked Clint with a big grin.

Logan didn’t wait for an answer as he went for the offense again. He wasn’t planning on letting Pimparella getting too much rest. “Flora, use your razor leaves again!”

Clint frowned as the green dinosaur apparently wiped off it's own wounds. Clint was about to say something witty when he heard two things he really didn't want to hear, at just about the same moment. The first was a wicked cough from Pimparella. Apparently she'd gotten a little bit of the poison in her lungs. The second was Logan ordering his GAO to attack again. Clint turned quickly to Pimparella, "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" he yelled to his partner. But, the Onix was far too preoccupied with its coughing and was far too injured to effectively dodge.

Not that it didn't try to dodge that is. She made a conscious effort to move her body in such a way to minimize the damage. But, it wasn't enough. The leaves tore through the lower part of her body once more. The air rang with an inhumane roar and the ground shook as Pimparella fell to the ground. For the second time ever, Clint had to recall Pimparella to her capsule, after suffering a defeat.

Clint smiled, he knew that Pimparella would be alright and this type of battle would only be good for her, the more his partner's fought strong opponents, the stronger they'd get. Clint leaned down and picked up his newest partner. The puff ball. "Not bad Logan, it seems that Flora there is pretty damn tough," he looked down at Diva, almost menacingly. "Now it's your turn Diva!" he yelled as he threw his own GAO at Logan's. The puff-ball landed soft beside Flora and dumbly looked back and forth between Flora and her master, all the while keeping its silly smile on her face. "Go ahead Diva mess it up!" Clint yelled angrily out to his newest GAO.

Flora looked very happy with her win and ran over to Logan and rubbed her head again. The cadet patted her on the neck before she returned to the field as Clint used his new GAO. Flora awaited her instructions and stared at Logan, who stared dumbfounded back. He had no idea if he should be fighting the pink fluffy ball. “Euhm, use your razor leaves again, I guess?” Logan ordered not sure what to do.

Clint smacked himself in the face. He'd have been better off if he'd just caught a god damn Rattata and called it a day. Instead he was stuck with this useless thing. Diva had taken the hit dead on and rolled back a little ways. Clearly it was lucky that Flora hadn't used as much strength as it had against Pimparella. Diva caught herself and stood back up, the stupid smile was gone, replaced instead by an angry grimace. "Come on puff-ball do something!" Clint ordered to his new GAO. Diva responded by marching directly up to Flora. Staring her right in the face. And then slapping the green dinosaur repeatedly across the face. Clint giggled, "That's the way Diva, show that dinosaur what you got!" Knowing full well that, if this were her best attack, Diva would probably be dead in a week.

ERICK & RAY

"I have to say, a match right now does sound interesting." Ray admitted as he Dismounted Salem and leap down to the ground beside Erick. He and Genisa had ported around for a bit since they had found that Indian burial mound, but they hadn't found anything all that interesting, so Erick had decided it was time to wrap things up and head back to the gates. Just a moment after Genisa had taken them back, Ray had popped up in the distance, still riding his beast like it was a horse. Erick didn't have anything else to do, so he figured: What the hell, why not test the new member to the team?

"Glad you're interested," He responded, retrieving the capsule for Beldum and that...ghost...thing he had captured. "because I've also got something to show you that might be important." with a flick of both his wrist, the two creatures were sent out in a burst of white, Beldum hovering in the air and the Demon in the stone (What Erick had decided that he'd call the new member for now, he found it a bit funny, making a pun out of the old "Sword in the stone" legend.) fell to the ground like block of cement, the face of the rock it was bound to glowing with a purple haze, yet the actual GAO itself seeming to refuse to manifest itself.

"Don't play this game," Erick warned "Because I honestly don't have the patience to put up with a whole lot of shit on my team." The commanding tone of his voice was enough to get the thing to reconsider it's choice to stay in the rock face. A moment later it's swirling, vaporous form popped out and the stone began to levitate in the air, causing the GAO to float just like Beldum was.

"That's better." Erick commented. he turned his attention to Ray. "I found this thing on top of an Indian burial mound deep in the west part of the forest. Honestly, I don't have any idea what the hell it is or what it's affinity falls under."

Ray took a few steps closer and examined the GAO, scratching his head a moment later as he admitted.

"I don't really know what it is either, Erick."

"What...? But aren't you the guy who came up with this whole system of classifying them and all that?"

"No..." the Scientist answered sheepishly "Actually, that was oak who came up with placing them into species... I just came up with the affinity system, which was really a much simpler task compared to that."

"so you don't even know what type this thing is?" Erick asked, a bit of disbelief in his voice.

"Well... no, I can't. But, in my defense, It's not always as easy to tell what type they are just by looking at them."

Erick looked at the good doctor a bit more skeptically now.

"then how else, exactly, are we supposed to find out?"

Ray only smiled at the question.

"Now that," he said. "That's something that is easy; We have a battle, just like you requested a few minutes ago. we'll see what it resists and what it's strong against, then we can go off of that data and figure out what category it falls into." he reached into the pocket of his Labcoat and pulled out a capsule, depressing the triggers on it and tossing the sphere into the air. out of it emerged a large, pale blue beetle that was almost as tall as a man.

f5a94af2a815779654a32dd1405cf5e5.jpg

The insectoid beast stared at DITS (Demon In The Stone) ominously with it's beady, yellow eyes, sizing up the competition. Ray tucked the things capsule back into his pockets, saying proudly

"Erick, You've already seen my other partner, Romulus, a few times in the past few months, but I think it's time for you to officialy get to know him as he thoroughly whips your ass in combat."

"Yeah, alright then, Ray." Erick replied, fiegning a chuckle... he was going to make this Point-dexter eat those very words in a few minutes. "I guess we'll do this one on one."

"Agreed." Ray nodded, taking a few steps back as Romulus stepped onto what would soon become the field of battle. Erick ordered Beldum back to him as DITS floated out, eyeing this approaching opponent.

((Ray's battle theme/ "In the name of science"))

"You ready?" Ray asked him. Erick nodded, and the doctor took the liberty of issuing the first attack.

"Brick Break!" he called. The Beetle unfurled it's fiery orange wings and zipped across the feild, nailing DITS with a spot on shot... well, no, nailing is not the right word, because the attack didn't seem to do anything to DITS whatsoever. chuckling a little at seeing how useless Ray's first shot was, Erick responded with a command of his own.

"Get that weak shit out of here!" DITS responded to the Order by spewing a small white flame from it's mouth, which made contact with Romulus and left a large burn mark on the GAOs arm as it raised it to shield it's face. The next second, DITS eyes light up with a dark violet hue, and Romulus became engulfed in a similar light, bringing the GAO to it's knees in pain. But the Ghost didn't seem to thing it should stop there, because just seconds later it unleashed a burst of black circular objects from it's mouth, blasting Ray's GAO with it and sending the beetle flying backwards across the field. It got up unsteadily after landing at Ray's feet. DITS looked back at Erick, and he could see a troubling gleam in it's eye... this thing might have been enjoying the fight a bit too much.

"Romulus!" Ray called, subsequently bringing DITS attention from Erick and back to the battle "Night Slash!" The Beetle obeyed without hesitation, It's claws glowing a harsh violet, eager to get revenge for the barrage it had just suffered moments ago, though Erick could notice the pained look on it's face; it seemed that the burn DITS had somehow inflicted was proving a distraction... and that was all the openings that Erick needed.

"Take it down before it can close in!" he ordered the ghost as Romulus again unfurled it's wings, preparing to launch the attack. DITS seeming did nothing at first, but then it's shadow began to ripple, bursting forth across the ground and erupting right underneath Romulus, knocking it off it's course and causing the bug to crash into the ground. It got up after a few seconds, with more difficulty than the the last time. It stood shakily, glaring at DITS, it's anger rising.

"Impressive," Ray admitted "It seems this thing has a knack for combat..." then he he just smirked before shouting out another order.

"Enough Playing around, Rom, Get in close and begin the ass whipping!"

Moves used: (In order)
Spiritomb (DITS):
-Will-o-wisp
-Hex (I justify it knowing this because if you just think about it for a bit, it would actually make a shit ton of sense)
-Dark Pulse
-Shadow Sneak

Heracross (Romulus):
-Brick break (Had no effect)
-Night slash (Failed to land)

Logan wasn’t really sure what to think of Diva’s attack. It looked a bit silly and was enough to shock Flora a bit. She obviously didn’t expect the pink ball to attack either but here it was slapping her five times in the face, changing her expression once again into battle mode. She pushed her opponent away just when Logan ordered her to use razor leaves again without holding back.

Diva flew back in the air again. This time it's landing wasn't as nice. Clint could see small gashes on the little puff balls body. Clint wasn't really sure how to react at this point, he didn't know if he should just call her back and relent that she was fairly worthless or let her keep going. Clint relented deciding that he should just call the pink GAO back to its capsule. He pulled out the capsule and aimed it, but before he could he started to hear a sound. Diva was definitely singing again, but this time it was different. The song focused on sharp harsh sounds meant to hurt the ears. ((The attack is round)). Clint didn't think much of the attack. But it wasn't that the attack was weak. His position, standing behind Diva, caused most of the sound to be interfered with by the time it reached him. However, Flora was dead in Diva's sights. Set to take the attack dead on.

Logan and Flora both received the full power of the sound attack. Flora started to rampage around and swinging her head around in an attempt to block the sounds while her trainer was forced to cover his ears. “Man, what a voice that thing got,” he said when it was finally over. He checked on Flora to see if she was alright and saw the Dinosaur scraping the ground with an angry look on her face.

“Clint, why don’t we stop this battle before someone gets really hurt? Clearly both GAO have a temperament when it comes to battle, so let’s call it a tie and move on to the next match.”

Clint didn't really want to stop. He looked over at Diva as it looked as though she was preparing another attack. The whole point of these battles was to dig deeper right? See what there potential was? Clint was ready to order the next attack, but ultimately decided against it. Logan had been a good friend since Clint had gotten here and he didn't want to betray his trust. Clint pulled out Diva's capsule and returned her. "All right Logan, this is the match we've been waitin' for anyway, right?" He looked over to Rocky who seemed over-joyed. The Tyrogue knew what was about to happen, he'd finally have a chance to go up against his old rival.

Rocky stepped in front of his trainer. All signs of injury were gone now, the only thing left was a fire in his eyes. Clint leaned down next to his partner, "All right Rock, now remember kicks and punches only. Don't start pulling any of that spinning shit you like to do." The little lizard looked up at his master, somewhat ticked off by the statement, but nodded. Clint stood up and looked back over to Logan, "Ready whenever you are."

The group of bees held their position roughly thirty feet from the cadets and their GAOs. It appeared that with their leader around, they were much more capable in a fight. Jory looked to Kenny and nodded. "Alright. Let's do this." By the time he turned, the bees were already flying at full speed toward the trainers. Jory quickly began giving orders to his GAOs, expecting that afterward Kenny would have his GAOs help out. The leader is the strongest by far. The other bees can't be at more than Growth 17, he thought to himself, analyzing his enemies. "Kenny, we need to focus our fire on the guards first. That way we can face the queen alone."

The cadet turned to his GAOs. "Neffi, Oliver, I need you to close in and take out the guard bees quickly! Oliver, use your acrobatic maneuvers to take them down! Neffi, I don't care what it takes. I want you to get your body in there and take them down!" With those orders, Jory's GAOs began charging toward the oncoming swarm.

Orders Given:

Neffi- Take Down

Oliver- Acrobatics

Logan called Flora back. A part of him wanted to continue the battle, but after what happened with Crush he didn’t want to take any chances of that happening again. “Ace, you’re up,” he called the monkey over. The Monferno made a backflip and smashed its hands to the ground to show how much it looked forward to this battle. It glared at its opponent and made a ‘come at me, bro’ gesture, taunting the small lizard into an attack.

Kenny looked at Jory, and then nodded.

"Understood."

He then barked a single order to his GAOs.

"Ryu, Eve, Emma, take out those Guard Bees!"

Then, Ryu prepared to launch off a Salvo of punches at one of the Guard Bees, Emma prepared to Divebomb another Guard Bee, and Eve sprinted at a third Guard Bee.

MOVES USED:

Ryu: Bullet Punch

Eve: Tackle

Emma: Acrobatics

Rocky immediately responded to Ace's taunt. He lunged forward and threw his first at Monferno as quickly as he could. The attack lacked any real power, but it was likely quick enough to hit the Monferno before the Monkey would have a chance to raise it's defenses.

Ace took the attack head on without making a sound. Instead the monkey grinned, turning it into a mental battle as well. He then spit embers from a close range at his opponent.

Rocky was knocked backwards from the flames, a slight burn was visible from where the hit landed, but over all the attack wasn't too severe. "All right Rock! Hit him with that jump kick!" Clint called out to his fighter. Rocky nodded and responded by charging forward at Ace, jumping in the air, and extending his leg.

The cadets' GAOs met the guard bees in a frenzy of claws, stingers, lances, and teeth while the trainers and the queen bee stayed slightly farther away. Oliver leapt up and somersaulted through the air, extending his leg in a kick before landing hard on a guard bee. The insectoid GAO went down quickly, its carapace snapped nearly in half by the force of the unladen lizard's acrobatic assault. Ryu's fast assault on the guard bee was mostly successful. It attempted to fight back, but Ryu struck it a hard blow to the head, leaving his foe twitching on the ground. However, as Emma flew in for her assault, the queen moved for the first time. She buzzed loudly, and seemingly out of nowhere a series of glowing crystals appeared in the air. The circled the queen briefly before zipping toward the flying squirrel directly along her attack course. Eve and Nefertiti charged together, throwing their combined body weight against a guard and bringing it crashing to the ground in a mess of snapped limbs and shredded wings. Neffi seemed to have hurt herself in the course of the attack and was limping slightly as she moved away from the corpse, while Eve seemed completely fine.

Then, the queen bee began to buzz loudly once more. The honeybees around her began to charge toward the two landlocked GAOs, their small, sharp mandibles glowing white as they flew in for a divebomb attack. Oliver's eye gleamed as he prepared for the assault, taking a ready stance.

MOVES USED:

Ryu: Bullet Punch (Successful)

Oliver: Acrobatics (Successful)

Emma: Acrobatics (Interrupted)

Neffi: Take Down (Successful)

Eve: Tackle (Successful)

Queen Bee: Power Gem (In progress)

Queen Bee: Attack Order (In progress)
