*Yawns*

Another day huh? Today's somewhat special. I get to get up and get out of bed for once. I live in New Bark Town and I mostly like to stay myself inside. I mostly despise contact with everyone else and I shut myself off from the world mostly to go on the internet, watch TV, eat, take out the trash, do my homework, and sleep. Then do it all over. Not today...My mom signed me up for this stupid Pokemon program and unfortunately I am the last participant so I get a quote on quote "Special" pokemon. Special my as-

"KURO! GET OUT OF BED! IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO VISIT PROFESSOR ELM~!"

Kill me.
I get out of bed, lazily put on my clothes, brush my hair, brush my teeth, and i'm ready to go on an amazing adventure! ...That was sarcasm by the way. I hate this. I scuffle my way downstairs to get breakfast and to head out to meet Professor Elm in his lab. My mother gave me a lot of lip but I got out of their in time to get away from her rambling. Ahh...The outside. Your breeze is like acid to my Weeaboo skin~

I manage to find Professor Elm's laboratory, which isn't too impressive to say the least. Outside of it were a bunch of signs for the Pokemon program my mother *forcefully* helpfully signed me up on. Seems more like a death trap. I walk inside and to my surprise it was actually quite spacious. Professor Elm was watching the door eagerly as if he knew I was coming and walked up to me to explain what's so "Special" about my "Special" pokemon.

"Hello Mrs. Konata! I am Professor El-" "I know who you are and what you do. Can we just skip the dramatics and get to the stupid pokemon already?" "U-Uhm..N-No! I must finished what i'm saying." "Then do it." "E-Ehem...We choose you today because you are our special pokemon winner! We have a specially crafted pokemon and pokeball made for you nearby one of our idle desks we would like to show you." "Okay. Go on." [in thought] Ugh...This is gonna take longer than I thought. "Right! This pokemon has been made from our highest grade engineers into crafting what we have discovered as the very first virtual Pokemon in existence!" "Does it shoot lazer beams?" "No....M-Maybe?" "Then get to the point." "Jeez...Your mother was right. You are a bit testy. A-anyways! Right this way please!"

After he voluntarily insulted me he lead me the way to said idle desk and on top was a lone Pokeball. It has stripes on the sides of it that looked slightly more graded and high tech than most pokeballs. "Pick it up please." Fine then. I pick up the pokeball and suddenly the ball opened up and out came something I have never seen before. It was digitally shaped, looked a bit like a duck, and...He looked so cute! I wish I could pet him but..He's virtual so..Yeah. That's a bit disappointing but still!

"His name is Porygon. He is the virtual duck pokemon an-" "Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. Just give me the pokemon, poke-whatever else, and send me on my way!" "U-Uhm...Here. Here is the pokedex that allows you record data of the recorded pokemon you see out there in the wild. And for you since you are the special winner you receive 10 poke balls!" "Thank you! I'll be on my way! Thanks!" "B-But! I should warn you of the dangers ahead of your journey! Your sacrifices! Your strengths! Your-"

*Slam*
I rushed out of there as soon as I could because not only was this trip worth it now, I got an extremely cute pokemon by my side! "Hello Porygon!" "Porygon." It aimed at me by the side, darting around me and taking a look at who his new trainer is. "Porygon." It continued to loom around as I started to walk closer to it to give a big hug. "D'awww!" "Pory-Gon." It's darted stopped and it closed it's eyes and smiled slightly in a way that digital ducks kinda smile...Which isn't very common to find a way that they do smile. And now..This begins my adventure towards being a Pokemon Trainer. Hopefully this won't be so boring after all.

"Hey... awe why does the cute one run away. well what ever I'll find another one" i sighed to my self

"WATCH OUTTT!!! MURKROWWW ON THE LOOOOSEEEE"

"What a Murkrow well i guess we should help. GO MURKROW scout ahead bud"

"Scout ahead, scout ahead" Murkrow said in it's cracked voice as he flew off to the east as i followed behind

about five minutes later "Murkrow! crap this ones strong" i yelled as Murkrow gets hit by a direct peck but then i thought to my self "wait that move will be perfect" Murkrow use mirror move" my Murkrow creates a reflective wall where the wild Murkrow's attack hits him back but it's not as affected as my Murkrow was and I get hit by a different Murkrow

"There's two" I yell as the first Murkrow runs off "Damn better deal with this one first, but Murkrow's beat. Return Murkrow. Go Sneasel! Now climb a tree so you can get some height" as I say that Sneasel burst into a tree running up it till she hits the top "Now jump and use scratch" the Murkrow gets hit and falls to the ground hitting it hard and Sneasel lands in another tree. The Murkrow gets up and trys to fly off and I yell "You are not causing anyone else trouble" as my Sneasel hits with a Quick Attack. I then running off to the direction of the second Murkrow.

Jake was slowly trying to get some sleep, and, with some difficulty caused by some kids outside striking up conversations in the dead of night (seriously, who does that outside of the internet?), was finally starting to doze off. That is, until he heard the dreaded words-

"WATCH OUTTTT!!! MURKROWWW ON THE LOOOOOSEEEE"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"SUNNUVA-!"

Reacting quickly, Jake hurriedly got his clothes on without worrying about how he looked, leaving his hair messy, thus making it obvious he was beginning to bald, rolled up his sleeping bag, and collapsed his quick-pop tent as fast as a human who felt that their life could quite possibly be in danger could.

Rushing out, he called out to the few trainers gathered by the fire.

"OI! Any of you guys wanna get the heck out of dodge before the murder of Murkrow arrives, or am I gonna have to help y'all clear them out to keep my conscience clean?!"

(OOC: Sorry for the short post- I'm not the kind to dilly dally around when there's an event going on.)

2 posts until day 2.

I shut my phone and nestled into the bedroll, only to hear a set of footsteps coming in our direction. Another person. More talking. More socialising. No thanks. I pointedly ignored the sound and stayed under my bedroll, unmoving. Then, of course, Jory - apparently having an insatiable desire to get to know random strangers who approached you in the woods - spoke up.

"Hello there."

"Good Evening." A clear, high female voice responded to the greeting.

"I'm Jory. You are?"

"Odin Tosyuko."

Odin? Really? Strange name.

"Oh?" Jory's voice carried a distinct tinge of surprise. "You're Japanese?"

"Yes. I know I don't look Japanese. It's the hair, right?"

"Well, you don't often see yellow hair on a Japanese person. Then again, I'm not one to criticise physical oddities."

"...evidently. Who's that?"

Oh great. Now they were talking about me. I buried myself deeper into my bedroll.

"Oh, her? That's Orpha."

He leaned over and shook me lightly.

"Hey, Orpha. Come on, introduce yourself."

I curled up tighter and didn't respond.

"She seems...shy."

"Trust me, you don't know the half of it."

Oh wow. Thanks Jory. You are the embodiment of tact and kind words.

"She'll introduce herself when she feels like it, I guess. So, want to share a fire? I can't quite sleep."

"Thank you for your kind offer."

I heard some leaves rustling as Odin apparently sat down. And then the two began talking. Talking about life, about Pokemon, about their first days as trainers - Odin was new too, apparently - and about the wildlife in Route 29.

"Oh wow, you have a Deino?"

"Yes. His name is Cerberus."

Oh. I got it. Because Hydreigon has three heads. Okay, technically, one head and two living sock puppets, but still.

"Cool name."

"Thank you. Your Minccino is pretty cute, too."

"His name's Rascal. He's a feisty one."

"Min!"

"See?"

I hugged Mika tight, hoping for the two to stop talking, to stop reminding her of her social ineptitude.

"Hey! What are you doing?" That was Jory. What was going on?

"Hey, stop!" Jory again.

"I can't help myself." That was Odin. This conversation was taking a strange direction.

"This is hardly an appropriate thing to do!"

"Please! I need this!"

"Min! Min!"

What on earth? Unable to contain my growing curiosity, I pulled off the covers and sat upright, causing a beautiful golden-haired girl - Odin, I presume - to freeze in the middle of whatever she was doing.

Which happened to be tugging on the ears of a shocked and annoyed Rascal. She let it go, upon which it scampered back up to Jory's shoulder. She looked at me expectantly.

"Oh. Um. Hi."

"Good evening."

Casting about in my mind for information on how to continue this conversation, I bought time by complimenting her appearance.

"Um. You have amazing hair."

Indeed she did. It blew lightly in the slight breeze, a few strands blowing across her face. It contrasted her light blue eyes perfectly.

"And, um. I love your blouse."

It was a simple piece, brown and laced-up, with a pale green jacket and light brown sleeves. It looked like something out of a fantasy.

"Thank you on both accounts."

She said nothing more and continued looking at me. I turned to Jory in desperation, but he whimsically looked away.

Damn you Jory. This was going to be awkward.

"Um.... Um... I'm sorry!"

"...what for?" Odin gave me a look of confusion.

"I'm sorry that I'm bad at talking to people and um... I'm sorry, miss!"

"It's really okay, and you do not have to call me- "

"I know where this is going." Jory cut in.

Oh great, now he talks. As I turn red-faced and begin stuttering, wording out an apology, a male voice rang out in our vicinity.

"OI! Any of you guys wanna get the heck out of dodge before the murder of Murkrow arrives, or am I gonna have to help y'all clear them out to keep my conscience clean?!"

An orange-haired man burst into the clearing. Great. More people.

"A murder of Murkrow? What do you mean?" Odin gave the man a puzzled look.

"I'm talking about that" He pointed behind him. In the far distance, a vaguely humanoid silhouette was being chased by a large black mass of cawing Pokemon. And he was headed in our direction. Ah, crap. Wordlessly, Jory and I began to pack up our sleeping bags and supplies.

This first night was becoming the worst. First, I met people. Then I had to talk to people. Then I embarrassed myself at least six times and made a little kid run away crying. And now I found myself pursued by a huge murder of Murkrows. WHY. The injustice of it all just stung.

I continued shoving my things inside my bag. Then, I felt something strange. There was something in my Berry Pouch, which should be empty; I had no Berries. I pulled out the pouch and loosened the drawstring. Out fell something small, cylindrical. It was Pink, with a Heart-shaped motif emblazoned across the front, with a line splitting the sphere into two distinct halves, ending in a single circular button.

A Love Ball.

I hadn't packed this in yesterday. Which meant that Eve must have snuck that in; she was the only one that knew I was going to start today. She must have snuck it in for me to find in an emergency.

And I only knew one Pokemon of Eve's which was kept in a Love Ball.

Oh, Eve. Thank you for making my day so much better. I love you so much.

Unnoticed by the frantically-packing Jory, I stood up and turned to face the fast-approaching murder of Murkrow. I clicked the button on the Love Ball, and a blast of red light emerged, condensing into a large form before me.

Out from that light emerged Mimi the adorable Garchomp.

"Mimi! Scare off those Murkrow, please."

"Gar~"

Mimi planted her feet in the ground, faced the now-identifiable Murkrows, splayed her wings wide, and let loose an enormous Roar. Filling the forest with their squawking, the flock turned tail and fled, leaving behind 3 teenagers, a still-burning fire, and a preening Garchomp.

I walked up to Mimi and stroked her head, causing her to contentedly nuzzle against my hand.

I love you, Eve.

(OOC: Yeah... I was kind of getting fed up with the Murkrow thing. So I ended it. Sorry :x Don't worry, though, Mimi's getting transferred right back to Eve after we reach Cherrygrove City. Also, I am very curious to see how you guys respond to this. I apologise if I didn't do justice to your characters, Jory & Amaterasu.)

Countdown to day 2: 1 post.

Rino woke up not even five minutes later to the loud Roar of a pokemon. Even with his headphones on, the fear-inducing cry of the beast pierced his eardrums. Startled by the sound he and his Ralts fell off the tree they were in.

"Tenshi!" Rino caught Tenshi in midair and with less than a fraction of a second to spare, readjusted himself to land on his feet. He looked up to see that there were four trainers now.

One was a tall, orange-haired man who was probably the one in the tent as he was holding a sleeping bag. The other was a girl with flowing blonde hair with a Deino by her side. They turned their attention away from the fleeing murder of Murkrows when they heard the crash behind them. I should run before they approach me, Rino thought. He turned to run in the other direction, but immediately fell down and felt a surge of pain run through his right leg. He had sprained his ankle on the landing after all. Rino turned around again to face the trainers. Taking off his headphones, he was about to ask for help, but old habits kicked in. He took out his pokedex and scanned the blue dragon then called Tenshi.

"I want to battle Garchomp."

Day 2! Reading back I think we've already been in Day 2, but it's daytime now I guess?

"To think that I would be running for my life, even when I'm resting" Color thought bitterly to herself, hanging loosely from a tree with Grass Mini and Fang finally fast asleep. To think only moments ago she was the one passed out while these two were awake. The thought made her scoff, shaking her head before a breath-taking roar threatening to shatter the bones within her very body. It sounded too close, waaaayyyy too close for comfort in fact. It was only a matter of time before she would have to swing out of the tree and take off again.

The performer had lost the male trainer, several minutes ago as she ran ahead of him. She automatically deemed him unworthy to even keep up with her as his movements made the girl want to drag him by his feet. However, she was still curious about the other Pokemon he carried.

"I wonder what he had?"

Color gently shifted Fang to her shoulder, hearing the grass monkey grumble grumpily in his sleep, but did attempt to stir back up in a conscious state. She dug her fingers into the green fur, taking a hold of a thick branch and look onward to the closely gathered trees.

"Just maybe I can travel by the trees without having to disturb anything that's around here"

Color released Fang, watching him cutely cling to her neck as a simple reaction, while she pulled Grass Mini off of her head and into her arms.

"Twi, Twig~" Grass Mini whined, batting out his two front legs as he slowly opened his yellow slits to be welcomed by his trainer's ivory face.

"Shhh, go back to sleep. I won't put you in your Poke Ball." Color whispered, pulling her sack to her front and tugging the strings loose to open in up. She slide the Turtwig inside, watching him tuck his head comfortably in the brown carrying bag. He left his two front legs poking out and his head lulling off to the side, slowly closing his eyes and falling back into a peaceful sleep. Color smiled at the sight, feeling the warm tingle in the pit of her stomach. She had no doubt that these two are fiery spirited and battle-tough just like her, but at the same time the trainer had to remember they were practically babies. THEY were her babies and it was her duty to tend to their needs no matter what.

She tighten the strings on her sack once more, making she not to suffocate Grass Mini in the process. She tossed it back on her back, feeling the extra twenty-two pounds pressed against her back. She stood up, tightening Fang's hands around her neck and look towards the group of trees again. With a strong inhale and a confident exhale the acrobatic leaped towards the next tree, barely missing the branch as she swung loosely in the air. With some struggle she pulled herself back up to the tree, breathing heavily as she looked over at the slightly closer trees.

"Perfect." she breathed softly, easily hopping over to each tree, trying to locate the source of the mighty roar. Within a couple of minutes Color spotted a clearing.

"A campsite of some sort?" she questioned herself, lifted the sack back on her back as she felt the strings slip off her shoulders. She lept towards the final tree, clinging on to the harsh bark and carefully scaled down the rest of the massive trunk. She knelt down into the bushes, carefully scanning the area. So far, from what she could see, the ebony-haired trainer spotted four trainers, two females and one male. She had to admit he wasn't bad-looking and it had been some time since she received any "male attention. A small giggle bubbled in her throat at the thought, but she quickly swallowed it down, forcing herself on a more serious matter. She had to team up with someone to get off this route and get to the next city. What better way to do that than to travel with companions!

Having made up her mind, Color stood up to her feet, brushed the stray dirt off of the ends of the bouncy laces of her dress, and bounded over towards the travelers, waving her hand a friendly manner.

"Hey there!" she shouted cheerfully, the sleeping Pansage chattering unconsciously in his sleep as Color unhook him from around her neck and let him rest on her shoulder while she supported his bottom with one hand. Grass Mini merely snored, enjoying the warmth from the brown sack he was being carried in.

24 hours on Day 2!~

Sneasel and I ran though the trees and long grass to where the second Murkrow flew off to. We see the Sun break from the horizon "morning already?" I said rubbing my eyes "well we still should find that rouge Murkrow right Sneasel" Sneasel nods to me. We found an ebony haired girl running from what's most likely the Murkrows. I should meet up with her, with that Turtwig in her bag and Pansage she's holding on to she doesn't look like a very experienced trainer so it would be better for us to travel together and I've already lost one companion so why not try again, right I thought to myself right when look again she's talking to someother trainers "looks like two other girls and a guy all of them look pretty attractive and atmost a couple years older than me so this will be fine" I say to myself out loud "hey, you guys new to wanna team up!" I yell to the four of them

Odin merely gazed as a Garchomp apparently named Mimi scared off the Murkrow. Orpha walked up to it and stroked it, shocking Odin. For one thing, the girl was incredibly shy - but she had a bond with a Garchomp and she wasn't scared of the huge flock of Murkrow? She was hiding something. A light breeze brushed past, and her hair fluttered to the side. A moment later and she would have gotten Cerberus to attack them. Odin did, however, know one thing about Murkrow. They were highly persistent, and would probably return at some point. But, they never went too far from their nest. That was good. She looked around and saw even more people who had came out of the blue. Cerberus was growling at her side, and Odin guessed he didn't like strangers. Strange how he never reacted to Jory - he was probably too tired and the Roar had woken him up.

While everyone was looking the other way, Odin slowly walked past, not making a sound. She jumped up onto a tree branch, before regaining her composure. Everyone else seemed so calm, but how did they not realize? A Garchomp's Roar would attract a few tougher foes who wanted a fight - and Murkrow would probably be feasting and getting their leader to attack again or something. Cerberus was by her side as usual, following her. They leaped through the trees, landing perfectly on outstretched branches. Luckily for Odin, Murkrow never went too far from their nest, meaning they wouldn't stalk her to the ends of the earth. She eventually reached Cherrygrove City, where she stopped by the Poke Mart and restocked on Potions and Poke Balls. She rested at the Pokemon Center, before venturing to Mr. Pokemon's house. It was a famous house inhabited by someone named Mr. Pokemon.

Cerberus and Arzuros raced ahead, defeating any wild Pokemon who were unfortunate enough to stumble onto us. They all fell back, and eventually, not a single Pokemon appeared near them. A house soon entered into their view, and Odin knocked on it's door. She was invited in, and greeted a man. They had a light chat, before Odin decided to go. This wasn't Mr. Pokemon's house, but as she left, the man gifted her with an Apricot Box.

"Thanks." Odin said. She turned and left, before continuing onwards to hopefully reach Mr. Pokemon's house. Soon, another new house came into view.

"This better be the right one..." Odin thought. She raised her hand, knocked thrice, and stood back, awaiting a response.

"...muh what? Oh. It's... morning already, and the Murkrows were apparently taken care of already."

Forward and forward and ever forward. The road to the Trainers who had already taken off seemed to go on forever. She couldn't even Odor-Sleuth right. Was this really the path they were taking? No---there were no other openings as far as she was concerned.

"Heeeeey! Wait for me!"

The Pokémon finally came across a house----and, right in front of it, a girl and her Teddiursa. The Zigzagoon noted that she had long, golden hair... much like a certain someone she knows.

"Hey. I'm not sure HOW I went unnoticed. I mean, I'm an amber-colored Zigzagoon that speaks human. And I'm fairly sure the fur color constitutes me being called a 'shiny'. How does THAT go unnoticed in a city for as long as it did? Anyway... can I pose as a Pokémon of yours for a bit?"

The raccoon expected a response.

((OOC: I'd rather have this an interactive story than just fiction-writing, you see.))

"Ughh... How long have been out?" I pondered in thought "The Murkro..."

I, then noticed five Pokeballs in front of me. There was a note, too. While I was reading it I and Rosa, my ralts, noticed a Murkrow close by. "Murk" It screeched.

"All right, Rosa, let's do this." I said a little too loudly

"Ral,Ral" Suddenly she made multiple copies of herself.

"Krow?" he(the Murkrow) shot with his beak glowing white but he hit one the copies

"Rosa, use Confuse Ray" I commanded. A violet-blue ball came out and confounded the wild Murkrow.

"Go, Pokeball" I shouted as I throw the red and white ball. It opened up and the Darkness Pokemon turned into red energy and was "sucked" into the sphere. It rocked three times and clicked.I decided to let him out into the fresh air.

"I will call you..." I said quietly "Kain" He took a moment to register his nickname. We ran all the way past Cherrygrove and settled on Route 31 to take some time to go over my companions.:

"Is that Mr. Pokemon's House?" I inquired to myself.

(This is going to be an OOC post so he sees this. Pokelord, I'm sorry, but I am not letting you "warp" to Mr. Pokemon's house. Teleport will only work as in the games, going to the last Pokemon center. Otherwise it's stupid.)

I woke up in a room that I remember from some where.

How did I get here? I thought it was gone. This where the first things that came to my thoughts as I lie in this room. There was something’s that I was doing what was it? As I lay there trying to remember what it was figure came into view, A young girl wearing a dark blue shirt, with a black skirt, her black hair up in twin pony-tails. She called out cheerfully"So your finally awake you idiot. Get up or the elders will be mad." This person there was only one person who would talk to me in that tone well calling me an idiot. I sit up in the bed and begin to speak but no sound came out. The girl came closer looked at me with a smile and asked. "What’s the matter? I know the training hard but you need to get up."As I look at her my vision starts to blur the smell of smoke and ash fills my nose. I look at the girl again behind her there where flames filling the room. She stood there not reacting as she holds out her hand with that smile that I loved so much as says “Come on, we can go together." I reach for her to save her form the flames as the approach her. I reach but i can't move my body no matter how hard I try. The flames consume the girl still standing there with that smile.

A roar sounds though the forest jarring me from where I have fallen form exhaustion well i was running from the Merkrow with that girl who vanished into the trees. I hold my head in my hands remembering that dream a name comes from my lips."Rin-Rin" the girl from my dream, I shake my head telling my self that it was in the past and that she was gone same with my family and village. After I get that out of my head I check my Pokegear to get my bearings. I ran much further and long then I realized I did. The sun was coming up and I was only a little bit from Cherrygrove. Once I get to the town I head straight to the Pokecenter and ask the Nurse Joy to heal my Pokemon and if there was a place I could rest. She did just that healing Boulder and Candy and showing me to a room. As I lie down on the bed and look up I say to my self "This room I don't remember. That’s a good thing." I fall to sleep with my own smile.

(ooc well hopefully my grammar is better this time around. fixed it.)

Waking around 9 am on her second day of her adventure, Kyoko gets her pokemon and items ready to travel into Route 30 to get to Mr. Pokemon's house. But before she could even leave the pokecenter, her tummy was crying out of despair. Hmm, I guess I forgot to eat dinner last night, and now I'm leaving before breakfast. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask for breakfast she thought walking back from the entrance of the center to the main desk where the nurse waits.

"Umm, d-do you ha-have breakfast f-for people?"

"Why yes, of course we do. What would a trainer do without food for her adventure?"

Soon the nurse asked an assistant to guide Kyoko in the mess hall. The assistant seemed to be a pokemon, so as the assistant guided Kyoko she got out her pokedex and looked up what kind of pokemon this was.

Chansey, the Egg Pokemon. A kindly Pokemon that lays highly nutritious eggs and shares them with injured Pokemon or people.

Wow this pokemon really does belong her Kyoko thought to herself as she arrived at the mess hall. Of course there were other people there so she tried to find a table that was alone. So when she found one she sat there not to disturb the other trainers. But she accidentally hit Lotus's pokeball from a near by chair and soon as Kyoko sat down Lotus was there by her side.

"Huh, how did you get out," she said softly to Lotus.

"Leep, Lilee!"

"I guess I should put you back in your ball then."

As she reached for Lotus's pokeball, Lotus quickly nudged against Kyoko, indicating that she did not want to return inside her pokeball yet.

"So you want to be left out then?"

"Leep!"

"That's find with me, but get back in once I finish my meal okay?"

Soon Kyoko began eating her food, and although it seemed like a few short seconds ago, she have finished eating everything on the table in a matter of three minutes.

"Oh, but I'm still- no, never mind, I shouldn't be too greed."

She then headed out the Pokemon Center, after returning Lotus to her ball of course. As she left she checked the clock in the Center and noticed it was now 9:10 a.m. as she left. When she stepped outside she then noticed one of her shoe's knots was loose, so she sat down on a bench to tie the knot again, and once she finished she looked up only to see a strange boy with dark blonde hair with blue eyes approach her.

"Hey, aren't you that girl with the purple plant thing?"

With nowhere to run she answered the boy's question.

"Y-you mean L-lotus, a-are you the... voice from b-before?"

"Yea, and the name is Josh. What's your name by the way?"

"O-oh, I-I-I'm Ky...oko. Umm, what did you mean when you said... that word?"

"What word are you talking about?"

"Cu-cutie."

"W-what?! I didn't call you cutie! It must have been someone else."

At the corner of Josh's eye he notices Kyoko's pokedex sticking out of her bag.

"So I'm guessing you're a trainer, from that pokedex you have in your bag. I'd love to have a battle with you since you seem like an okay trainer.

"I'm not really... no I'm not... I mean I-I never have battled before, and Aron was my first ever battle."

"Wow, really. I never thought I'd ever meet someone who has never had a Pokemon battle before. Hey, why don't I show you some basics to it then, sort of like a practice battle."

"Umm... sure I guess."

With that Josh and Kyoko headed off into an empty field near the outskirts of Cherrygrove to began Kyoko's first ever trainer battle.

(ooc josh let me bunny his character for this so it's all good)

I started to move as I witness a battle take place between two Youngsters. As I explored the route when I saw something Hoenn and amber.

"A Zigzagoon" I gasp suddenly but then I noticed the building nearby.

[Mr. Pokemon's house] That is what the sign said

"hmmmm..." I thought but I was so lost in thought about this "Shiny" Zigzagoon.

(Sorry about the short posts.)

The raccoon turned around to find a boy with glasses.

"Oh, okay. Now I'm getting noticed. What was I---a flippin' Shuppet? God."

She approached the bespectacled boy, being the one person who had noticed a Pokémon who is both out of place and had a different coloration.

"Okay. I would go in---but what would I say? 'Hi, I'm Telmaris Zigzagoon and I have no idea why I'm here telling you this.' That will not let me have a life as a traveler. And I'm hardly inclined to train when I'm reduced to foraging whenever I'm hungry."

Her nose twitched in disgust. "Have you ever tried picking food from trash cans? Eeeehyeah..."

Telmaris had realized that she was ranting to a random stranger now. Like a certain someone...

"Point is, let me pose as a Pokémon of yours for a bit."

"Sure you can." I assured the TALKING Shiny out of place Zigzagoon, "What are you doing in Johto? Your kind is all over Hoenn."

I stopped to think.

"Ralts"

"Murkrow" said my Pokemon hungrily.

"Here you go" I said as I made a few quick PB&Js "Do you want one?" I asked the Normal-type pokemon.

"Eh, shenanigans happened. Let's just say I wasn't born in Hoenn."

She looked at the sandwhich. "Hell yes. I'm starving."

"You know. I've seen a lot of you go here----far more than usual. I'm left to wonder how a man living in a re-purposed lab was able to supply all of you with starters. I know how it works---either a trainer is given one, or another trainer helps the trainer-to-be capture a Pokémon to use. The former usually happens more than the latter, right?"

She happily munched on the sandwich.

"Yeah, you have NO idea how much I have been wanting real food, and for how long."

((I can't believe I had to pull out my Soulsilver game just to figure out where everything was. xD lawlz.))

Vulpix peered anxiously out from his makeshift haven in the Dark Cave before gingerly stepping out into the sunlight. His muscles rippled beneath his gilded pelt as he stretched his limbs and began searching for something to eat for breakfast. While keeping on the lookout for humans, Vulpix crawled through the underbrush and padded throughout the woods, until he came across a stray oran berry lying on the ground. His gaze scanned the area, looking for any signs that it could be a trap, before he darted forward and scooped up the berry in his jaws. He fled back into the safety of the foliage before sitting down and crushing the blue berry between his teeth, savoring the cool, sweet juices before swallowing down his meal. Strength renewed, he began to bathe himself in the weak morning light that dappled the forest floor, growling at the sight of the loathsome Team Magma brand on his flank. What horrible memories that mark brought him. Shaking the thoughts from his mind, Vulpix set off to explore the woods, trying to remain hidden as best as he could.

Before long, he came across a human shack where a group of humans and other pokemon seemed to be gathering. Taking cover in a thick bush, Vulpix watched the trainers and pokemon with a mixture of curiosity and disdain.

Zigzagoon---who had already identified her nickname to be "Telmaris"---sniffed around. As far as she was concerned, she was just a few experiences short of being able to use odor-sleuthing to strike at a ghost. Still----she could sense something through it. It wasn't human.

Telmaris kept chewing away anyway.

"Eh, too hungry to figure out what's on the lookout. Probably a Sentret or something. It is a sentry, after all..."

So hungry was Telmaris that she didn't notice she had already eaten through her sandwich. "Oh. Well... uh... hate to ask, but can you spare another one? By the way, I didn't catch your name."

A man stepped out of his house.

"Oh my! That's quite the gathering."

Mr. Pokémon had noticed the group gather in front of his house.

"Did Professor Elm send both of you? I didn't realize he took such an interest in my discovery! I'll wait to see if anyone else gathers, then let everyone in!"

"...well then."

I'd like to RP as Mr. Pokémon to prevent overlap, since I just went ahead and acknowledged him as noticing the larger-than-usual travel group. If you haven't already, gather up. I have an idea of where I wanna take this. xD

Posts before Mr. Pokémon stops waiting: 3, counting this one.

As I stroked Mimi the Garchomp, I couldn't help but notice the ever-growing crowd of people around us.

Oops. Apparently Mimi's Roar had been a mite too conspicuous. Not good. People equaled talking equaled social interaction equaled public embarrassment. A man approached from behind.

"I want to battle Garchomp."

A battle? This guy wouldn't have a chance. This was Eve's Garchomp, a Pokemon that helped her hold the title of Sinnoh League Champion for close to 3 years now. Besides, she's not mine; I can't use her in battle in good conscience.

That said, to refuse would be to speak and potentially open myself to the risk of having to socialise.

I weighed the options. On the one hand, I could accept and give this guy a terrible loss with a Pokemon that isn't even mine, causing me to be seen as a bully.

On the other hand, I could speak up and refuse, but that might lead to socialising and conversation.

There was only one option I could take.

I leapt onto Mimi's back, causing her to cock her head in curiosity.

"Come on, Mimi. Take me to Cherrygrove please."

"Gar~"

I tightened my grip on Mimi's neck as she tensed up her body to run. Then, without warning, she lurched forward, with me clinging on for dear life. I felt somewhat bad for leaving Jory in the lurch like that, but my survival came first. And survival meant putting a lot of distance between myself and the possibility of socialising.

Cherrygrove Town came swiftly into view, but Mimi wasn't slowing down.

Not good.

"Gar! Garchomp~"

Crap. She was enjoying the run. Looks like Cherrygrove is out of the picture. As I expected, Mimi burst through Cherrygrove, startling several residents who were - understandably - not used to the sight of a giggling, dashing Garchomp. As I passed, I called out repeated apologies, hoping that nobody would feel like filing a lawsuit. That would be bad.

Mimi had completely cleared Cherrygrove and entered into Route 30 before she started to slow down. She finally came to a halt outside a house. I shakily got off, and Mimi nuzzled my face happily.

"Mimi, you crazy girl. I'm sending you back to Eve the moment I have a chance."

Mimi didn't seem to care, content to continue nuzzling my cheek.

It's not so much that I didn't enjoy the company of the Garchomp - it was, after all, the cutest one I've ever met - but more that I wanted to finish this journey on my own, with minimal help from Eve. I had something to prove, and using Eve's Garchomp wasn't going to prove anything.

As I finally began to take note of my surroundings, I noticed something terrible. Outside the house where we'd alighted, several other people were gathering, including that Odin girl from before, who was at this moment gazing intently at me. In fact, they were all looking at me curiously, with an old man standing at the centre of the group.

Brilliant. I fled from the prospect of socialising - to find myself in a position where socialising seemed imminent.

O, Atropos, Clothos, Lachesis; Thou art cruel Mistresses indeed.

Time left till Mr. Pokemon gets impatient and stops waiting: 2 posts.

"...heeeey. That's cheating," Telmaris said as she witnessed the Garchomp that just carried a fledgling trainer.

Not counting this post towards the total because it's a short dialogue/reaction post. So:

Time left until Mr. Pokémon stops waiting: still 2.

I blinked slowly, an expression of total and complete surprise plastered onto my face. Rascal poked his head out of my backpack (where he'd taken shelter from the Roar) and looked around to make sure it was safe. I continued to stare dumbly at the Garchomp and at Orpha, who had suddenly developed a social side when around gigantic dragon-y terrifying Pokemon that were way out of the level range of my own and why was she so chummy with it? Then, some guy walked up to us and asked Orpha for a battle. "Oh, no..." I said softly to myself, remembering how shy Orpha was. Next thing I knew, that cute girl with the green hair was bolting away on a Garchomp and I was diving to the side to avoid being trampled by it.

I turned to the guy who'd just come out of his tent, thoroughly confused as to who all these new people were. "So... I'm thinking I'm just gonna... walk..." I said awkwardly, beginning to back away from the clearing. I was actually quite worried about Orpha at that point. With that in mind, I determined the best course of action was to start on my way to Cherrygrove City, as that's where Orpha had told the Garchomp to take her. I slowly walked over to the man who had come out of the tent and yelled at us to 'Get the hell out of dodge.'

"Excuse me, sir, but I have no idea where Cherrygrove City is and I'm worried about the girl that just got taken off by that Garchomp. Is there any way you could come with me to find her?"

"Min~" Rascal chimed in.

"What the heck was that thing?"I said loudly.

"Murk...Krow?" Kain cawed Inquitively.

Anyway me and my companions were waiting for people to go where I was waiting at: Mr. Pokemon's place

(My post doesn't really count.)
