Paint is a good place to start. You can also use Paint.NET; it has alpha transparency, so you can sprite there without problems. Or do you mean which ones are made?

GIMP has a severe problem with sprites---DO NOT USE IT. It will fuck up your colors like they did on Calvius. I've run into this problem while working on my Minato sprite mod. Had to switch back to Photoshop to undo all the damage. Incidentally, I decided to reshade Delphox because why not. ...holy shit, less than 14 colors. Added: I've always thought that the picture depicted Floette with the spade angled. All I did for this was correct the outline, but I'm doing the fixes mentioned. Will that do?

I don't know how I can alter this in a way that looks good. Up until now, I've used Reverse Absol colors for Gardevoir, since they go with her blue hair. He also has the knight motif going on. So short of Reverse Black Knight Gallade... wait a minute. ...that's going to be rather fun, actually. -clobbers two sprites together- I made two for consideration, primarily for Ame, since, uh... I don't agree with many of the recolors. Let's leave it at that. Normal sprite edit. My attempt at giving him greaves. I'm not entirely content with it. It just looks off. This is where I need Ame's feedback. I forgot to retone Gallade to have his skin and feeler match the normal sprite. Should you choose this sprite, please remember to tweak those.

So, after a short hiatus, here's the rest of the Gardevoir Family sprites. If this concept gets selected, I'll begin work on the backsprites. EDIT: ...goddammit, Ame. You already picked Gothdevoir.

True that. xD Still... that blonde patch of hair really needs some treatment. I know that feel. Remember when I said my skin color's a bit different? Well, curly hair comes with it. (Mine's more of wavy with curls, not coily. I'm on the white side of Latino, you see. But whatevs.) I usually just leave my hair au naturale. Trying to perm your hair when it's ultra-coily never ends up looking like naturally straight hair. And if it does, you have to do it... pretty much every other day. Not fun. And no, hair gel would not fix it. An afro-mohawk would work better on him. It's totally doable, just look at Chris Tucker. ...I don't speak from personal experience, though. Arc can do whatever he wants. (Discussing hairstyles on a discussion on ethnocentrism. Because discussions on ethnocentrism are too mainstream.)

I'm not a big fan of black guys that try to look badass, personally. And DJ Arclight's look doesn't seem to suit at all. I'd prefer my DJs sleek and stylish (and Kuro and Lucia pull off the sleek look with aplomb, let me tell you). But that's just me. Tell him to get a new haircut and some nice sleek clothes, and we'll call it square. Hey, Lady Gaga does it! So why not? And there's no shame in admitting you're of some dominant ethnic majority. But then, I realize that there's a very subtle sense of guilt over your ethnic group having, in the past, instigated the genocide of at least three different ethnic groups followed by systematic derision to the survivors... None of that seems relevant to me. When you're in a country where the color of your skin is a little different, and you spend most of your time isolated in body and mind... you kind of stop caring about people's skin colors. It's just an appearance trait to me by this point.

As much time as I spent on Gen III, it felt too... kid-friendly for me. Gen IV picked up, Gen V and VI were better. ...I wish Gen VI had a real final boss. That was great.

The renames don't follow the game language. Please use "001b" instead of "1b", "010b" instead of "10b", etc.
