I didn't say jellyfish are not animals. I said it looks like something alien more than the others. The tentacles are a common theme with those.

The beedrill-dragon is also weird enough to be an alien form, but it's not that elegant.

Fair enough. It just sounded a bit strange how the most alien thing was something similar to what you find in the ocean. I do get what your saying with the whole tentacle thing. And as the first Ultra Beast you come in contact with, I'd say it sells the "Ultra Beasts are weird alien-like things" pretty well.

Well, the simple facts I hate Nihilego is because...

1- It's a parasite, as what is said in Japanese.

2- Its name have a meaning from latin. Nihil = Nothing, Ego = I -> It means "I am nothing".

3- It's a ugly jellyfish and I hate jellyfishes.

4- I hate most of the Ultra Beasts, because they fled from the Pokemon reality and that's why I think that USUM isn't that much good.

5- It's a Poison-type and I don't like that much most of the Pokemon from this type. Maybe not Garbodor, Nidoking and some few others.

The reason I don't like Lusamine too much (I like her, but not that much) is because of Nihilego.

That said, let's eliminate the parasite and make the christmas tree survive. :)

I don't like UBs either but Nihilego is about one of the only ones I can stand.

Look at this link and you might understand what its name is made of. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nihilego_(Pokémon)#Name_origin

Name origin

Nihilego may be a combination of nihil (Latin for indefinite nothing) and ego (Latin for I), which together roughly translates to "I am nothing" or "I have nothing"; or the part of the psychic apparatus ego, which is the rational decision making part of the psyche) and together with "nihil" refers to how Nihilego has no ego, and only has an id (the survival and instinctual part of the psyche), which obviously relates to Nihilego. The former may reflect Nihilego's victims' lack of will outside their focus on Nihilego, while the latter may represent Nihilego's role in dominating the desires of its victims.

Uturoid may be a combination of 虚ろ utsuro (void), void, and id. It also might refer to 鬱 utsu (depression), 移ろい utsuroi (the act of moving from host to host), and android or the suffix -oid (meaning "of similar form").

That's what is said in the Bulbapedia. If you doubt with me, click on this link. "I am nothing." I'm sorry if I was rude, but I'm explaining what I meant.
