Let Us Tell A Tale Only Using Sound Effects

This is a little bit of a game I thought of a while ago, and might be something that could go somewhere if posted here. Everyone's done the activity in school where you tell a story using one word at a time, but what if you could only use sound effects? Try to keep your sound effects between two asterisk(s) and go from there. If you have more imagination, you can sum up the story at any time. I'll start with an odd one.

*Gunshots in a crowded mall into said mall's glass ceiling*

*A loud screech of tires stopping on pavement*

*Screams of people running away in panic*

*whirring of a helicopter above the mall*
