K, so. The Diviner and Sully had a chat about artificial mechs. The Diviner was more than happy to brag about his advances in prosthetics. He explained to Sully how some people were missing their dream space or had been forced to share with a twin and how he had a system that would allow them to access an artificially generated one by using the mech system in reverse. He also made some effort to surpass the capabilities of natural mechs, with very limited success. Currently there are three artificial mechs in service: Capricorn, the initial test of the artificial system's compatibility with a human subject. Aries, a model testing integration of the system for combat. And Libra, the first successful use of the prosthetic system. He also currently has two in development: Pisces is being developed with twins in mind, it's built to split their dream spaces and give them their own mind. And Aquarius is intended to expand upon prosthetic uses and help give a paralytic full motor control again

They also installed Sully's modifications Which are in the OP now, sorry for the delay

Blink told the concert attendees about the longtime rivalry between Lust and Gluttony, caused by a falling out between Swag and his sister Seeker following the latter's marriage to the being called Watcher and inflamed by Swag's policies. Upon the rise of Wine as ruler of Gluttony, Seeker took her infant son and requested asylum from the new goddess who was known for her kindness. Ever since, the two Planes have fought over money and food supplies in an effort to win what began as an argument between siblings

Post is on the way, but this needs to happen first. Matchups, not as well done as usual but I'm tired okay?

Silent Requiem (SAD) vs. Revenant (SMO)

The iciness of the field is going to make SR struggle to maintain its balance due to its heavy armor, plus Adam is still injured from his stunt last time. This would be an easy win for Revenant, except the D8 I just rolled says he gets the cannon lockup event, which means his firepower is 0 for the fight. Shouldn't be too big of a deal since he's melee focused, but it does mean he can't weaken SR from a distance

LOLI_HUNTER (MBD) vs. Hellfire Knight (FAD)

All advantages in combat belong to Heck, who can pretty easily keep HUNTER at bay. But HUNTER gets advantages just from being in the fight, and even if Hiroki doesn't support her, she's managed to gather some cute fans in the crowd (40% chance of revive). Heck will also be dealing with her own weight causing her to lose her balance on the ice Fuck, that doesn't work, I'm dumb. Just, blame the wind or something IDK >_< Armor makes maneuverability worse here

Slumbering Giant (FAO) vs. Strider (SFD)

Strider's going to struggle in this fight, as Giant isn't going to charge her cannon very quickly and when it finally is charged, Giant also has a comeback mechanism which can be used to counter it. Strider will need to take advantage of the field ruining Giant's balance to gain and keep an early advantage

Supernova (SMD) vs. Libra (MAD)

Be afraid, Supernova, afraid. The ice will cause Libra to, ironically, struggle to balance. Supernova will need to play aggressively and take Temperance down before she gains any momentum. The slightest edge and Temperance can run away with this fight. Supernova will also need to keep his cool or his emotions will fuel Temperance's victory

Yes, that's one of the best ways of handling Temperance

I just want to confess here that I sort of pulled a sneaky in her sheet. The bit about Emotional Distortion only working on emotionally-driven opponents or whatever? Yeah that was sort of a, "but of course nobody here does that or anything..." Because, well, literally everyone does that. Favor is literally made out of people supporting and liking you. One of the reasons mech fighting became a sport is because you get more Favor when spectators are involved

Temperance was originally a sort of mid-boss, so she's meant to be stronger than all of the PCs. It's not impossible to win against her, but it's not easy either

Greed forecast

Field: Cave.

the field is a cavern with large stalagmites and stalactites (which I probably butchered the spelling on) all over, creating a lot of obstacles and cover. Mechs reliant on speed and ranged attacks will struggle here.

Sections of the cave walls are cut out and replaced with viewing windows for the spectators

HUNTER vs. Silent Requiem

Spoiler

Adam is screwed. Guaranteed loli in the crowd. Field bad for maneuvering his ball. And he really doesn't have much to let him get a leg up against HUNTER

Hellfire Knight vs. Supernova

Spoiler

Supernova is also screwed. Hiroki van handle any heat he can muster and her tough armor protects her against his physical attacks, assuming he can even get close with all the obstacles. Good news is there's lots of places for Suprnova to hide from Hiroki's plasma attacks before she causes him to overheat

Strider vs. Libra

Spoiler

Both are built around extended fights, so this seems it could go either way. But Strider's been reliant on revenge to win the day, against an opponent that cam facetank even that much power, she might be in trouble. And all of this without considering the massive advantage Temperance gains in this field.

Revenant vs. Giant

Spoiler

Although Revenant's aggressive style gives him a strong hand in this match, the Giant had a decent shot at tanking his unrelenting assault. But in such an enclosed space she's in trouble if she tries to fight back. But don't write the sleepy girl off just yet, because her earth shaking assault could bring the whole ceiling down on both her and her opponent. This match will be all about guts

Reminder that this combat phase ends on the tenth

Also, in preparation for the exhibition matches there won't be a proper travel phase. But there will be a short exposition phase. The TL;DR is that everyone's gonna get invites from the gods that want to see them and then they'll visit with them for exposition dumps. Now I could do this IC, but that would make things take longer so Ima just do it OOC now. If needed I can provide details on invite contents to help with your decision. You are allowed to not go to any of them, in which case I'd be happy to work out an alternative

Here's the list of invites

Hellfire Knight: Blink

Supernova: Blink, Cardinal

Revenant: Lord

Slumbering Giant: Bear, Aries

Strider: Lord, Queen

Silent Requiem: Lord, Blink, Cardinal

LOLI_HUNTER: Blink, Gryffin, Swag

Hey all! New character joining the train here, with permission from Lexi to allow them to exist. Introducing, Grima!

Spoiler

Forum Name: GodofGamingRWBY

Character Name: Grima Hansen

Alias: Valkyrie

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Sin: Greed

Appearance: Grima is a 5’5” woman, possessing a more athletic build (namely, light muscles plus B-Cup chest), with a pale complexion,  black hair cut into a simplistic bob cut, and dull red eyes. Her outfits tend to be simplistic and street looking, her favorite being a plain white shirt and jeans combo, complimented by a pocketless jacket, generally left unbuttoned.

Mech Appearance: For the most part, in her mech, Grima gains a simple black jumpsuit that covers most of her body from the neck down, along with a large amount of grey armor that covers most of her body. Notably, a plain, flat breastplate, shoulderpads, gauntlets, an armored skirt that goes to her knees, and armored boots that go way past her skirt line. For the most part, the rest of her body is also covered up in armor. In addition, she wears a “v” shaped helmet, the two sides jutting out behind her, the visor darkened to prevent people from simply gazing in. In addition, there are two large tails of wild, silver hair that go all the way down to her knees, coming out of the back of her helmet.

Outside of that, Grima wears an easily detachable blue cloak. She also uses two weapons, a large shield and longsword. The shield itself is mostly an oversized round shield, being able to easily cover half of Grima’s body, and is heavily reinforced and modified to include a force field and temperature controlling devices (to deal with heat and cold). The sword, however, is not modified for and special tricks, mainly being a plain sword she swings around.

Personality: For the most part, Grima is a notably calm person, being fairly straightforward in what she says and being somewhat of a (terrible) jokester. However, her biggest issues are the fact that she has a fairly terrible case of kleptomania, and is absolutely terrible with directions. In the case of her kleptomania, it is something she cannot control, generally flaring up when around small, unimportant objects. She, personally, hates it, and tries to keep it hidden as best as she can.

Mechs Stats

Speed: 2: Valkyrie wasn’t built to provide anymore speed aside from the norm. However, despite its heaviness, it is still possible to run in it.
Melee: 5: Due to the combination of a shield and sword, Valkyrie is a fairly formidable combatant in close combat, complimented by the enhanced strength her Mech provides. However, outside of that, she does not have any special tricks for melee combat.
Firepower: 0: Grima has no need for guns.
Armor: 8: While her regular armor is rather heavy duty, Valkyrie’s main gimmick is her heavy shield, heavily reinforced to the point that it is nearly impenetrable. In addition, Valkyrie can overcharge the shield’s force field to create a large wall, protecting her entire body from harm if something were to get past the shield.

Signature Attack: Void: Grima uses both of her hands to slash at the opponent, creating a single, heavy slash, far stronger than most ones she can throw out, though still far from capable of taking out another Mech in one blow. Condition for the attack is “I have countered the opponent’s close range attack.”

Special Ability: Heartbeat: Valkyrie possesses the ability to speed up the user’s perception of the world around them, around five times slower. While their body still acts the same, the user can perceive and react to events much faster than normal. However, due to the stress it puts on her body, she only has a limit of five seconds to use it (which, for her, would feel like 25 seconds).

Character Stats:

Observance: 1: Grima is notably able to pick out smaller details in the environment. Not to the levels of other observational people, but enough.
Reflex: 2: Due to the fact that Grima regularly trains her brain using different tactics in he spare time, Grima can react to situations surprisingly quickly.
Social: 0: Grima has never been good at talking to people, hence her straightforward personality.

Other: Has a character tic of using a small dirk and flipping it between her fingers. Also is an actual criminal from the Plane of Greed.

Spoiler

Forum Name: Hukuna the Undying

Character Name: “Madame” Nastasia Susanna Sinclair

Alias: Shackled Ninefold Archangel

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Nastasia looks the part of a noblewoman through and through. She wears overly lavish dresses and other statuses or power and wealth. She tends away from overly gaudy jewelry believing it to be too desperate a plea for attention and instead chooses to augment her natural beauty. She prefers brilliant blues as they compliment her eyes and hair, a vibrant blonde, more than other colours. She would never be caught dead in purple, such a cliche colour. She wears her hair in tube curls that reach down to her waist in length.

Mech Appearance: lt appears as a giant castle with a somewhat gothic type of feel to it. It has massive limbs similar to arms and legs though it’s frontlimbs are the more massive of the two. However the size of these makes them ineffective weapons and they are more to locomate at all then anything else.

Personality: Nastasia despite her young age is well known as a quite freugel and harsh business woman. Ruthlessly calculating, sharp as a razor, her intelligence was a gift that was well evident even when she was a young child. She often found herself to be better than the common person, and this only grew and grew as the Farming Complex her and her father built grew and thrived, mostly on account of her acumen. Nastasia, while she respects power does not bow to it. That would only mean she was the lesser in that situation. She is no one’s lesser. She greatly respects her late father, a man who always took care of her and tried his best, though she was truly the wind beneath his wings, he tried to soar that she may live a better life than himself.

Mechs Stats:

  • Speed: [0] Due to the mech’s overall size it’s barely capable of a crawl. However, dodging isn’t really in it’s gameplan so there’s no need for it to worry about movement or speed. It’s so weighed down by it’s armour that it’s not a viable plan of action. It’s armour is too be relied on rather than wimpy things like dodging. It does have the ability to move but this mostly is just to help it keep distance when trying to keep an enemy in the most effective zone of fire. It’s very minute but can make a difference.
  • Melee: [0] Who needs to punch things… when you got guns out the wazoo? Despite it massive arms the mech is not good at traditional forms of melee and rather than swing around it’s hulking mass ineffectively it’s better to just synth explosions on top of itself rather than smash into the enemy mech.
  • Firepower: [6] This mech utilizes a type of technology to synthesize explosive energy and channel it for the uses of damage and area denial known simply as “Divine Seraphic Engine: Wreathe of Synthesis, Type: Destruction ”. As the systems have no true payload they can’t be delivered at quite the range of normal explosive type ordinance causing it to be more effective at medium to close range rather than over long distance.
  • Armor: [9] The mech is armoured to the nines trying to protect from reasonably every attack that can be imagined though as much as possible to resist the strain from using its own weapons at pointblank range. It’s normally a gamble to use such a tactic however this mech is designed to resist explosives much more than the average one. It’s quite resistant to heat and energy based weaponry as a result as well.
  • Signature Attack: Divine Judgement: An attack that focuses the mech’s systems to their maximum output and vapourize anything with explosive energy, no exceptions. This attacks conditions are “if the Holy Shroud of Retribution cannot be forced from me, it shall fuel the wrath of the Heavens.”
  • Special Ability: Holy Shroud of Retribution: an auxiliary system found within the technology that fuels Explosion Synthesis that generates and builds an explosive force to be used as an ultimate weapon. Known simply as “Divine Seraphic Engine: Holy Shroud of Retribution, Type: Wrath” however the charge of this ability can be fired early at the cost of having to rebuild to Divine Judgement. This attack unleashes a similar explosive force though not at the same power of course. This explosion centers on the mech and radiates outward pushing anything nearby away and if it can’t… turning it to dust.

Character Stats:

  • Observance: 1
  • Reflex: 0
  • Social: 2

Nastasia uses her aptitude for conversation more than anything else. Though, mostly through intimidation tactics and ruthlessness. She’s somewhat okay at reading people and uses this knowledge to mess with the targets of her words. She’s an expert at getting what she wants and giving away little in the process. She uses her abrasiveness to great effect to either get a rise out of marks. Her mastery for such horrifying at such a young age.
