For example, let's take my Garchomp, Erosio. Since Garchomp is a Ground type, I took the word Erosion and mutilated it by removing the n. Let's see... we also have Medallion the Metagross Trojan the Luxray Citadel the Gengar (because Shadow Tag) Pawn the Scolipede and a few others that I don't feel like bringing up. Deadweight because it was the weight of the shell that supposedly caused Omastar to go extinct in the first place, and because he carries my team half the time with shell smash and surf. Derax Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I'm terrible at coming up with nicknames for Pokemon, seriously, if I ever have a child I might just leave naming them up to the mother cuz I'm that bad >.< Having said that, some of my favourites include; Fleet - Gliscor Wood - Mamoswine Mac - Excadrill As part of a mono-ground team I ran in White 2, meanwhile the Dragon team were named after things from Arthurian legend, so we had; Gawain - Dragonite Lynette - Hydreigon Guinevere - Kingdra Griflet - Flygon Excalibur - Haxorus Nivian - Druddigon In Pokemon Y, a couple of friends really liked my Garchomp's nickname; Fulcrum, for reasons I don't know. Another one I had was a Staraptor named Typhoon. Anyone who knows fighter jets will hopefully understand that one. My favourite one that I can remember though is my Toxicroak from White 2, which was called Elbow, because I caught it, literally the ball clicked, right as a song by the band Elbow, that I was listening to at the time, finished.
