Kage huffed in irritation, but he wasn't going to let the constant evasive maneuvering annoy him. Eventually his opponent would be forced to pick between taking an attack or just leaving the bounds of the field. "Stealth Rock again! Make it hard to move!" The Aron kicked up a number of rocks once more, these landing in the space between them once again, but this time thicker on the sides rather than in front. He was trying to box his opponent in, make it impossible to dodge the incoming attack.

Princess got knocked over by the rolling elephant. She quickly got back up her feet and starting to hiss in anger. That dumb ground type was playing way too rough for her. If Panzer wanted to play dirty, so could she. The dark cat started to throw sand at the little elephant's eyes. She then started to sprint and attempted to jump on Panzer's back where she could scratch him in a raging frenzy.

Kay had done absolutely nothing. He just stood there observing how his new Pokémon fought. When he noticed her less desirable side he ran on the field and grabbed the cat before she could do anything to Panzer. Instead Princess started to bite and scratch her trainer's arms. "Sorry, but Princess can't handle a fight and certainly not against a heavy Pokémon like your Phanpy. If you want to test out your Pokémon, fight Herman instead."

With that said Kay walked off the field while Herman took Princess's place. The grass turtle yawned and stared at the Phanpy, wondering when this troublesome situation would be over.

Kage vs Mie

Stealth Rocks and Ice Shards were scattered all over the field. Mie could not help but wonder if they would be able to withstand being hit by Rollouts. Perhaps that was something to test another day. The battle was nearing an end, after all. Dodging was going to be pointless if the Aron was just going to continue enclosing its path so the only option left was to make sure the Aron ran directly into an attack.

"Yukiko. Use Hex!" The Snorunt's eyes began to glow red as from its hands, a purple miasma-like energy began to flow and coalesce in front of it into an open red eye on a circular purple energy background. From the pupil of that eye, concentric rings of energy with purple tails began to fly out directly towards the Aron charging in front of it.

Is that even allowed? It's a substitution I guess Toshiro stands at the other side of the field and scratches his head in confusion. Toshiro didn't have time to object as Kay quickly steps into the field and swaps his the feral cat for Herman in the middle of the match.

Clearly this is a difficult battle, seeing a ground type is weak to grass type. Hmm, do I really want to push it? I don't know what this guy is trying to pull but battling against his main poke would give me information on what kind of a trainer Kay is.

Panzer just sits there, happily looking at Toshiro while wiping off the sand in his eyes with its long trunk. Toshiro looks at his pokedex and checks the elephant's life points. To Toshiro's eyes, Panzer seems to be fine and was barely unscratched and harmed. but little did he know, Princess has done something to Phanpy, Toshiro can't see it yet.

"Ok, Panzer, here comes your next challenger. don't let its look fool you.. use rollout and use your speed." Panzer quickly curls into a ball and gains momentum as it makes its way towards the Yawning turtle. Herman should be an easy target as the Phanpy rolls above it and was about to crush it with its weight.

((Herman's moveset: Tackle, Withdraw, Absorb))

Herman proved to be a very different type to deal with. He was far more steady and easily held his own when the Phanpy tried to roll over him. The turtle placed all his weight on his hind legs and rammed forward with his entire body just on the time of impact, stopping the rolling elephant in his tracks and only sustaining minimal damage. Herman height was slighty bigger and his weight also exceeded that of other Turtwigs. The only downside was that he was a lot slower.

"Push him away and let him come at you again," Kay said while purposely avoiding to do any major damage.

The Turtwig obliged and tried to push Panzer away with his head, while keeping his position on the field.

Toshiro vs Kay

The two bulky Pokemon collide as a loud thud was heard all over the place. Phanpy was put in its place and pushed away from the impact. This is the first time for the baby elephant to be shoved by its target, a taste of his own medicine you might say as he backs away from the turtle. Phanpy blinked rapidly as he looks at the turtle. He was in disbelief by the outcome of his rollout. as Herman remained still from where he stand.

"Bulbasaur." Midori pops out of Toshiro's clothes as he saw what happened. "Yeah i know, that thing is bulkier than i thought" Toshiro said to his partner. Hmm, I should probably disregard the rules too and swap out, I guess that would make things fair..but even so..Midori can do nothing to Herman, just look at the size difference, their typing might be the same but Midori's speed won't cut it. My options are limited here. I guess I just have to continue then.

"Panzer don't let it get to you, use rollout once more to get close to Herman" Toshiro commanded his Phanpy. Panzer begins to roll towards the turtle. it pops out the moment it comes close with Herman. "Now break its defense! use ice shard!"

in a blink of an eye, Panzer deeply inhales as icy winds began to conjure on its snout, forming an ice shard. Panzer immediately grabs this sharp icicle with its trunk and swings it at the turtle, trying to slash Herman's thick hide.

Sasaki, not having time to dodge, barreled forward into the Hex, grimacing as the attack landed with full force. The hardy Pokemon didn't let that stop his reprisal, however, as his forelimbs glowed with a metallic sheen once more. He slashed with both of them in turn, aiming to end the fight with one decisive attack.

Claude & Drake

"Sorry Drake, no waiting around for you to sort yourself out! Buneary, same move as before, take advantage of Treble's confusion and get him into the air!" Claude called out. Buneary leapt to obey. The dance had felt calming and now she knew what Claude wanted, or a least how to go about it. Again, her fist swept towards the Arons chin, this time with more confidence in the movement. This Aron would fly and she wouldn't give it a chance to stomp this time.

Kage vs Mie

The Aron had plowed straight through the Hex. There was not enough time for either of them to react. The Aron was way too close for evasion, protection, or even rolling away. As such, the gleaming forelimbs mercilessly slammed into the Snorunt. The Pokemon was immediately knocked back, rolling on its side until it stopped.

It was clear that it was no longer in the condition to battle. Mie immediately ran to the Snorunt who was lying on it side, kneeled over and picked it up. "Are you alright, Yukiko?"

The Snorunt grunted back, trying to comfort its trainer despite it still being physically hurt. "You did fine, Yukiko. Just rest for now." She said, pulling out its Pokeball and returning it into the ball.

Drake vs Claude

There wasn't much time between when Treble finally managed to center himself and when he opened his eyes to see a fist flying towards him. He stared directly at it knowing it was an inevitability. The blow sent him back aways, though due to his weight it wasn't too far. His tough shell soaked a lot of the hit. After all, being both a Steel and Rock Type Double Hit wasn't a very powerful move to use on it. It was definitely a solid hit on anything that wasn't an Aron.

However, this gave Drake a lot of information. Claude either had no better option or was trying to lull her into a sense of false confidence. However, seeing as how this battle progressed thus far she figured the first was more likely. If Claude had to rely on Teeter Dance he was clearly not in a position to do much else. So, Drake decided to gamble on him not having a fighting move. If he kept going for this combo there had to be a reason. So, instead she was going to go offensive. It was a gamble on whether or not this Buneary knew some sort of fighting move. "Alright, time to get physical! Treble! Autotomize."

The Aron understood, metal plates dropped off it's body and they hit the floor with a clang.

Toshiro vs Kay

"Quick, Withdraw!" Kay yelled when he saw the incoming supereffective attack. There was no out of this one and Herman wasn't fast to begin with. The turtle's back glowed a faint blue as the move fortified his defences, being able to take the Ice Shard and keep standing.

"Tackle his legs, keep him down."

Thanks to the boost in defense, Herman was able to react immediately. Since both opponents were at a point blank range, the Turtle couldn't force any speed behind his tackle. Instead he used all his weight to try and get the Phanpy's legs.

Panzer winced in pain as the tackle connects. Its stubby legs were shaken and was hurt from the impact but surprisingly didn't give in to the pressure. Panzer remains standing and wants to prove to the turtle that it can take a couple of hits as well. To Panzer, this was a contest of strength to who can take most hits and who can hit back the hardest.

"Phan..py" Panzer gasp in pain as he looks at Turtwig in front of him.

"good job Panzer, now shove that turtle out, show em what you're made off. combine offense with defense, use defense curl then follow it by rollout."

Panzer instantly curls into a ball and started to spin, bumping into Herman in the process as Panzer continues to twirl faster. It maintains this wheel-like form as it struggles to push through the Turtwig blocking its way. trying to steamroll the turtle from the pressure of its weight while spinning.

Claude & Drake

I like the look of that Claude thought. If Drake thought she could have an Aron outspeed a Buneary she was about to be dead wrong.

"Buneary, Copycat!" Claude ordered. Buneary looked back with total confusion. How the hell was she meant to shed iron plates? Either way, she looked back at Treble and tried. She focused energy on imitating the Aron and to the eyes of everyone around, faint illusion replicas of the Iron plates Treble had dropped appeared, dropping and visually replicating the foe's automatise.

"What the hell, I did not expect that..." Claude muttered under his breath. Meanwhile, Buneary was hopping around faster than ever. However, the new speed was completely new to the small pokemon. Everyone around could hear anxious little squeaks as the Buneary moved, unable to gauge just how fast she would or could move. Claude didn't really know how to help with that. Hopefully she'd calm down soon...

Drake & Claude

"Heh heh." Drake smirked with a small laugh. Normally, one probably wouldn't be so calm after a move like that. It was a brilliant one on Claude's part. Other than a single fatal flaw. His Buneary couldn't control the speed it had received. Unlike the Buneary, Treble had started pretty slow due to his weight. After all, this was a side effect of Automatize, lowering ones body weight. This is what made Treble able to move at a much faster speed. However relative to the Buneary, Treble's speed was still esay to control. It didn't jump up past anything that made it tough for him to remain balanced. On top of this, he was still heavy that it counter balanced and kept him stable.

Copycat would not just increase the Buneary's speed as a result. It would also decrease her body weight. For Aron, this was natural, they could drop off pieces of their body at will. However the sensation had to be extremely strange to a flesh and blood creature. Worse was it was paired with the speed making the Buneary both fast... and having to deal with a new body weight. A Double whammy of things to deal with. One that could easily be exploited. Because Drake was going to use that new found uncontrollable speed against the Buneary.

"Alright, Treble. It's time to bury them. Rock Tomb! But, not directly... Lead the target."

With the order the Aron did what it understood the order as, and it was luckily exactly what Drake wanted. Quickly in front of the Buneary appeared a great rumble as Large rocks sprouted from the ground. It was close enough to give the Buneary no proper time to react, At least not at that speed and without the knowledge to her new weight to properly stop her forward momentum. She'd slam directly into the rubble and it would collapse in on her from the impact.

((I'm going off the way you described it and what Copycattin' it should do since it copys all effects since it directly uses the move. I imagine it'd be hard to understand your new weight and really misjudge how to stop one's self if not only did they have to deal with Speed they aren't used to but also a new weight they are not used to.just lemme know if something's no cool, kk?))

Claude & Drake

((All good, but let's end it now ye?))

Buneary, racing around at the speed of almost sound, shrieked momentarily before she was muffled by the rock that had decided to give her a very hard hello at Treble's request. With prior damage and her new speed lending momentum to the impact, the frail Buneary collapsed in a heap against the rock, whimpering slightly.

Claude cursed a shocked little expletive as he rushed halfway onto the field before realising it would be smarter to return the Buneary to her pokeball.

Claude waved cross the field to Drake. "Congrats, I'm gonna run off to get some help for... Jessica" Claude called, summoning the name from his subconscious in the faltering pause in his words. "We'll have to try this again sometime, ok?" Soon enough, he was away and heading to a healing centre, leaving Drake with a victorious silence.

((I think at this point there's not much need to summarise it in the IC, too long spent here already.))
