Ever played dynamite headdy? It has one of the best game soundtracks on the Genesis and is an excellent game, although too punishing and difficult in some parts, especially the second half of the game. That said I think like anyone who wants to design platforming games should at least watch a playthrough on it, because it's got some real genius to it. Did I mention it was developed by Treasure?

You're Izayoi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYUVRSbjehA Genesis Metal FTW. Also one of the biggest OH CRAP bosses in the game and extremely difficult first time you fight her. No this isn't the final boss music either, although it sounds like it could be.

I never found video game music much interesting but route 47's music from Pokemon HGSS is pretty deep and mix it with the beautiful waterfall scenery, it's just epic. Also, the theme which plays when you explore Skyrim's countryside is really serene and Sovngarde's songs just fills you with awe.
