[b]You Are (Not) Alone.[/b] [u]The Premise[/u] Competitors pair up in teams of two and fight in mini-tournaments against other teams to proceed to the next round. [u]Rules[/u] -Battles will be 6v6 Singles with clauses as left to be determined between the players themselves. -The tournament will be held in Team-Single Elimination [u]Team-Single Elimination? What's that?[/u] It's just like single elimination in every other tournament- where if you lose a match, you are out of the running. However, because the matches in this tournament are not between individuals, but teams, an individual loss does not remove you from the tournament; however a team loss will. [u]Team Matches[/u] Teams will be matched against each other round by round. The best way to explain this is in example: [quote]The Team of A & B fights The Team of C & D A vs C B vs D [u]Scenario 1:[/u] Winners are A & B. The Team of A & B progresses to the next round. [u]Scenario 2:[/u] Winners are A & C. We then progress to- A vs C Supposing A wins again, the team of A & B both progress to the next round. B is not out of the tournament. [/quote] [u]Restrictions[/u] Pokemon from Reborn's Uber tier may not be used You are NOT restricted to use the same team from match to match, nor do teams need to be registered. [u]Prizes[/u] All placing competitors will receive a set amount of $R to themselves based on their place as well as a greater amount to the team to be split as determined by the partners. 3rd Place: $R 300 individually, $R 1500 to the team 2nd Place: $R 500 invividually, $R 2000 to the team 1st Place: $R 750 individually, $R 3000 to the team. [u]Entry and Dates[/u] The enter, BOTH partners must post with the name of their partner. If anyone has trouble finding one, they can ask to be randomly assigned, or I can help match people. The first round of the tournament will begin on Monday the 13th.
