  1. Thanks for the update, and looking forward to seeing what's happening! I have two question: 1. How should a Mac user update the game since I don't think we can use the .exe update script? Will there be manual download options or a command script like Reborn? 2. According to your last dev post saves between Chapter 2-5 should work in 13.5. Where should we save to avoid bugs? My guess is they would just become normal haxorus/salamence with normal ability and the same current moveset they know. Aevian/mega forms of a mon are considered to be the same mon but with a variable indicating the form. If the form variable doesn't exist it should just default to the normal form. Disclaimer: not involved with game development but messed with a few mods before.
  2. This might not be appropriate to ask (and let me know if this is so), but how do y'all balance between developing the game and other real-life commitment (work, social life, med school...)? I've always wanted to work on some creative projects on the side, but as a graduate student busy with research and work, I find it really hard to focus on a side project before burning out and losing interest. In this regard you guys are all inspirations to me. Especially Caz. Med school has inflicted heavier trauma among people I know than an M-Aggron's Body Press.

Hey, if this mod is still being maintained, just to report three things: 1: whenever I try to access a mon's location in pokedex, the game crashes (errorlog attached here) 2: the icon for aevian metagross is missing, so it's shown as normal metagross in pokemon menu (its appearance in battle is still aevian metagross) 3: if a "new aevian" form also has an original alternate form (e.g. metagross's mega or light bulb aevian chandelure) its original form is messed up. E.g. light bulb aevian chandelure (with the correct sprite) now has ice/fire aevian chandelure's typing, ability, etc. errorlog.txt
  5. Hey, thanks for the mod. It looks great! One potential issue: with a long name it can go out of the graphics box in the loading screen. I'd suggest making the box larger.
  6. Here's my team with set mode and noitems. Every member of the team has their moments to shine, but Cosmic Power + Stored Power Clefable is probably the MVP.
  7. In the darkrai quest, after It's possible to softlock oneself this way, so it seems better to add the portal back. EDIT: turns out if you leave the new world area altogether and return, you can access the darkrai area directly. This isn't a softlock, but I'm leaving the thread here in case people encounter this issue again.
  8. The game crashes when I launch remotepc (obtained using the freeremotepc password) and attempt to remove an item from a mon inside the pc. I have attempted moving different items from different mons in different boxes and produced the same error. This is on the latest version (19.07) Errorlog inside

  10. When talking to Ame in dev room about the new game starlight divide, there's an option to show me the link that, when clicked, lead to a crash to desktop. For context, this is on Mac A very niche error, but probably better fix it. After all a coding error in a plug-in to a new game doesn't look good (jk you guys have been doing amazing work and I'm sure the new game will be good as well.   11. In a fieldless single battle while using randomizer, when I (gastrodon) attack the enemy (turtonator), an exception happened and generated the attached error log. I can still execute the attack, but I believe the AI encounters an error in determining an appropriate response. The captured randomized turtonator has ability technician, but more relevantly, a moveset that includes bug bite, drum beating, struggle and revelation dance. Could either of these moves lead to this bug? Edit: a randomized lit wick with struggle caused the same bug, so I believe the culprit is struggle on a randomized Mon's regular moveset. errorlog.txt

    MAC saves.

    Similar problem here. Also Mac user. I located the reborn save file location (/Users/(user name)/Library/Application Support/Pokemon Reborn), but even though I pulled several saves into this folder the game only recognizes the one I created from a new game. When I click "other save files" it is unable to retrieve my other files. However, when I rename my save file to the current save slot it loads well enough. Also, when I click "open save folder" nothing happens. The game does not launch my save folder in the finder.

  14. Thanks for the prompt reply! Actually I feel like putting alt-form Dusclops at its current position is fine-it's not such a dominant pokemon other than its excellent typing, since it's rather slow and passive. It's probably a mon that's (like Cradily) more dominant in monotype than in general gameplay. (You know what's a dominant mon? Alt-form blastoise. I used the moveset of shell smash, hydro pump, flash cannon and aura sphere, and it swept through Serra, Ciel, among other fights. It's available after Aya, and it's got a much better defensive typing, speed and overall stat than other shell smash sweepers. Considering that shellder isn't available until Celestinine Mountain, I'd put the nerf hammer on squirtle first... if you're inclined to use the nerf hammer) So the crash-to-desktop thing is actually intended haha. I thought it'd be weird to offer some fairy-type egg in glitch field. One other question: are there move tutors for Gen-8 moves like scorching sands in-game?
