    Cyndaquil is great late game as typhlosion eruption kills so much. But most starters are available later on already so it kind of doesn't matter which one you pick.

    how do you have a pupitar that early?? if your swoobat has simple, then just set up calm minds vs one of her pokes and use some super potions in between (her girrafarig is best for this) and you can basically sweep with field boosted confusion alternatively if combusken has bulk up and speed boost, it should be pretty easy to set up a sweep

    lmao I feel this so hard I played loads of rom hacks initially - enjoyed Light Platinum and at the time Dark Rising (god that aged very badly didn't it haha). My first game that wasn't a rom hack was zeta/omricon which I really enjoyed. Then Insurgence was even better. Then much later I played rejuve, then deso, then reborn. Then they were all blown away by the greatest game ever made. Pokemon Edge Rising. How dare you miss such a masterpiece from the list >=(

    they literally have poliwag and simipour right before the first gym lol it is not difficult to beat dont think there is a memejuve esque version of deso yet , hoping one comes in sooner rather than later (though imagine making the flying gym tougher jesus christ)

    its random which is kind of annoying but gives you more money as well, plus if its pink then its blissey which is a crazy good amount of exp

    yeah if you haven't already you should definitely check out desolation, that's the only one I've played that is really on par with reborn/rejuve

    Does anyone have any advice for beating Emily? I'm playing through for the first time and really struggling with her. Electivire just drops everything that it goes up against with EQ / wildcharge / brick break
