  1. Never mind I'm an idiot - found the right way :) Loving the update so far!
  2. Hi everyone! I've just finished my 3rd run of reborn since completion. First time I used a pretty generic team updating as I go, second time I used a trick room team, for the third I used a baton pass team. Wanting to start another runthrough - is there any particular team theme (or individual pokes) that you'd consider the most fun to use throughout? eg. I absolutely loved using Cinnico with a kings rock for my first playthrough, the thing was an absolute menace. And Ursaring for the trick room team went brr. TLDR: what pokes have you guys found the most fun to use? early and late game - can be whatever, I just want to see if there's anything different that I'm missing that is really worth trying :D
  3. Shelley was the hardest in doubles because of the limited available pokes, the field buffs etc - took me a LOT of tries the first time I went through reborn to get past her For singles - I found Ciel way tougher than other people seemed to, but I think the toughest still remains to be Titania - with the field buffs and her crazy team, it's absolutely wild.
  4. 4 steps here: 1. incorporate trick room with amplified rock 2. give ursaring a flame orb and teach it crunch over shadow claw & protect over sweet scent 3. watch ursaring sweep literally everything in the entire game 4. there is no 4, ursaring won :)
  5. Aqua because murkrow prankster perish song is the absolute best way to deal with annoying OP mons (solaris garchomp etc)
  6. oh boy, if you think the gyms are tough at this stage then just wait until you get to ciel... or worse, titiana.... luckily luna is the next leader and she is pretty easy with whatever strat you want - but definitely make sure you've caught everything you need to before you go to agate cos the gym difficulty starts scaling up after that
  7. this is seriously impressive, awesome work
  8. In terms of strongest in-game pokes (based on what you can get earlier-on that remain strong throughout): Ciccino - this thing with skill link is utterly busted. The crest didn't really give it that much extra, but skill link + kings rock means anything it outspeeds it takes down Mamoswine - Early game EQ / Ice Shard are fantastic and it doesn't fall short at all in late game Typhlosion - Speedy Eruption go brr Milotic (Poison/Fairy variant) - You get this after 11 or so badges so a bit later, but remains great for the rest of the game Crest Bastiodon is definitely the strongest imo, but big shoutout to crest Delcatty/Beheeyem as well for late game shenanigans
  9. Have you completed the Darkrai quest? If the answer is "yes", are you SURE you've completed the Darkrai quest?
  10. Yeah Blaziken can basically carry the majority of tough fights for you. Get the mystery egg poke, and use whatever it is as a core with Blaziken. Other great pokes for long lasting in-game use are Golem, Cinnico (this thing is amazing w/ skill link - find it at level 4, common candy down to level 1, evolve with shiny stone - boom it learns bullet seed, tail slap, rock slide - carries through most battles). Donphan, Roserade, Ampharos (though this falls off hard later on), Emolga (up till Aya), Beautifly There are plenty of great pokes available early but above poster is right - Blaziken basically the only one that stays S-tier for the whole game

    get over yourself.
  12. wait so... it's likely tomorrow?! well, looks like I'm taking my laptop on holiday for pokemon reborn
  13. The area right before Charlotte is full of rock types - just stock up, train up and use them to crush her. Wide guard is your best friend in this fight.
  14. Yeah your analysis of the rejuve MC is way off. Trust me, finish v13 and then see what you think.
