actually im hyped for ana queest conclusion and i will definetly wait for next batch of new aevium mon and being able to breed toxtricity

    That!
I gotta admit that I've been pretty disappointed that Ana's Quest received no update.. I was looking forward to that one.. Hopefully we get some follow up in v13.5

  2. More quality of life?!
Rejuvenation is already the best Pokemon fangame when it comes to quality of life so it's quite nice to see it!
Can't wait to try the new mons! Might re-play v13 for the 6th time when it happens (not joking, already replayed this 5 times so far)!

Just wanna put a reminder for everyone that is hyped, BE PATIENT!
A masterpiece like this one can't be rushed! Let us all be hyped but hyped patiently!
(Jan should work for Game Freak since I hate what they are doing to Pokemon recently tho'.. Feels like a Sonic Mania situation where the fans are doing a better job then the main developers..)

There are a few other bugs too that I'd like to correct, like how Claydol's Crest doesn't actually account for Defense boosts to increase Special Attack even though it should considering how the Typhlosion Crest works.

I don't think this is a bug, since that's how its been for a while, so it probably would have been changed it if it was wrong. Also, it could be kind of broken if you got to set-up multiple cosmic powers and end up being almost invincible, and really powerful.

Me neither, I think this is intention since, like MageKnight said, spamming Cosmic Power would turn Claydol into a massive wall with nukes on it's side..
But yeah, the Thievul is a weird one.. When I saw it at first I never though of using it since Thievul kinda sucks.. The best status it has is S.Atk and Speed and it's overshadowed by better mono Dark-Types like Zoroark anyway and getting an increase in it's feeble Attack stats? That didn't sound like it would fix anything but I decided to finally test it and noticed that the description doesn't match the effect..

  4. The description of the Thievul Crest according to the game AND wiki is
"Adds half of the opponent's Attack stat to Thievul's own."

However, what it actually does is lower the S.Atk of the opponent by one stage and give one stage of S.Atk to Thievul.. Gotta say tho' this version is much better than the description since it makes Thievul a good devuffer considering it also learns Parting Shot but.. Still.. Already reported this bug but just wanted people to know if they wanted to use the crest.

  5. Catch anything and everything, do not let any Pokemon out of your range just because "It's weak", you never know when that "weak" Pokemon can be useful, back in my first playthrough in v12 I got softlocked in "a place that I couldn't return from" because I couldn't win the gym battle because I did not had any good Pokemons against them and my only way was to reset.. Of course, now in v13 this softlock spot was already fixed but still.. Catch EVERYTHING

Ah and just to prove my point, this gym leader I got stuck on I can now defeat with only 2 Pokemons and one of the is a Maractus, A MARACTUS! A pokemon everyone considers trash because grass-type, no bulk and trash speed but it served me well for that purpose..

You can see anything related to pokemon at balbapedia

    Belbapidea*, get it right, geez!

    Watch at : https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Trick_Room_(move).

With this, you can see which Pokemon can learn Trick Room also by other means.

Tried that first but it doesn't help much since it only list the ones by Level and by TM, neither exist in Rejuvenation

  7. So, I know that the only Pokemon we can capture that can learn Trick Room by leveling is Oranguru and I know there's no Trick Room TM or Move Tutor, what I want to know is, which Pokemons can learn Trick Room via the Move Reminder or the Egg Move Tutor, if any

    Thanks!

If you're trying to do this on Intense, here's an example of someone doing it with 4 Cramorants which can be caught at Blacksteeple:

    Spoiler

While this is a viable strategy, the rates for Cramorant are quite low.. Also, I wonder how can you pass the initial fight against Naved with four Lv5 Cramorants.. Hmm..

I believe you can in every difficulty, but the difficulty changes the strategy. EG: In Casual, since her 'mon isn't a Boss (Raid) Mon (Unsure if it is in Normal, but it's a Boss in Intense), it can be PP stalled with Revives and moves like Quick Guard. You can farm for Revives with Pickup 'mons, starting at lv21 with a 4% chance. Other than that, I've heard of people beating the Boss version using a Cursed Body 'mon, and resetting/reviving till the attack is Disabled, but I haven't done it myself as I don't play in those difficulties.

Farming the revives takes too long and it's expensive.. So I would go with Quick Guard Fletchinder

Granted I'm in Normal mode I must disagree that this was worse than the Geara/Zetta Valor Mt. battle.

I'm now wondering how I didn't come up with this for Titania in Reborn but I ended up one-shotting the Aegislash with Sucker Punch Bisharp.

Titania was a bit harder because she'd use the first 2 turns to set up King's Shield boosts and then hit hard with Shadow Sneak. For her I ended up doing something more convoluted bhut it worked. I used a Vileplume to set up Grassy Terrain to get rid of the Fairy-tale Field then put it to sleep with Sleep Powder. Then I swapped into Charizard and one-shot it with a Flame Plate boosted Flare Blitz.

Sucker Punch would have been a lot easier, sometimes I can be dense.

My biggest problem with Melia was Hapi. The answer to him was to nerf him with my own seed.

The Sashed Hydreigon which she'd then switch out was also annoying but I could deal with it.

The Geara/Zetta fight isn't hard per se, it's just that Melia, as your partner, sucks.. Most of her Pokemons are in disadvantage in the Volcano Field while Zetta has that accursed Typlhosion with Flash Fire and Eruption and the way the AI work is that 2 trainers in a double battle are technically one so "they" tend to work together better while Melia's AI can't really work well with you because you are a rogue variant but that's really the main problem, the fight itself wouldn't be very difficult if you could control Melia's Pokemons..

Titania was easier for me because, like I said above, I used a Sandstorm team, she having a full team of steel-types made it easier but Melia doesn't have all Steel-types and we don't have access to Excadrill yet so.. Also I can assure that Sucker Punch won't KO that thing.. That was one of my original ideas but the Sucker Punch always hits when it's in defensive mode so it tanks it anyway.. That's when it doesn't fail because it decided to use Sword Dance instead, now you wasted a turn, made yourself look stupid and Aegislash has a 4 stage boost in attack, get ready for Shadow Sneak sweep!

And Togekiss and Hydreigon were your biggest problems? Well.. Guess we all play very differently since these two weren't a problem at all for me.. I used a stall Umbreon for the Hydreigon (spamming Ultra Potions tho') and Togekiss got OHKOed by Boltund easy

Reborn's Titania gym battle also use the same tactic with her Aegislah so its nothing new tbh

My strategy on Reborn was to use a Sandstorm team against her, Excadrill with Sand Rush got the job done but we don't have Drillbur on Rejuvenation yet and Melia's team isn't all Steel-type so.. Yah.. After I dealt with that Aegislash the rest of the fight went smooth

That turned my attention to another complaint I had with Rejuvenation so far, 13 versions, 15 chapters and we still don't have access to most end-game items and some Pokemons that could be very helpful like Torchic, Drillbur, Magikarp, etc.. I get it why Jan wanted those things to be acquired later but isn't it a bit too far already? We already reaching Lv90 over here..

Heavy Duty boots massively boosted fire types, which was huge. Cinderace in particular annihilates it. Add it just got crushed in OU by Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Urshifu. Even down in UU G-Moltres beats it solidly.

Yeah but in this case the Boots can't be obtained and Fire-type moves become Dragon-type so Cinderace really doesn't have much going on here..
Again, it's mostly the field problem.. I said above "He isn't a god, there's ways to counter" but the field just makes it way harder..

Just to note, Aegislash is currently in Under Used. Not Uber.

That's strange.. It got nerfed 10 points in Def and S.def/Atk and S.Atk and it goes down all the way to UU from Uber?!
At least OU would've been understandable but UU?! Don't make no sense to me..

  14. @bloww, technically that Mimikyu has 2 free turns because of it's Disguise ability as well.. But yeah, I forgot to put that in the list of BSs.. The fact it enters with a free turn and the worst part is that it's a King's Shield protection too meaning that removing it will lower you Attack and S.Attack by 2 stages..

@Cerise, darling I am not "shouting" at Jan.. I do think this was poorly though out but I ain't really mad about it, it's a critique, that Aegislash really doesn't need all of those boosts.. Just feel like this needs to be addressed and no, I didn't knew that Jan wasn't the one fixing the balancing.. Then I guess I have this Azery to thank to and also, yes, I know the FTF was created on Reborn, I just don't like the fact it's being used here, I hated Titania as a gym leader because of that field and seeing it on Rejuvenation back again is giving me PTSD..

And AND the best part of it all is that Melia doesn't even bring her Aegislash when we do her path in chapter 15! What a teeease!!

    @Mei-o_Scarlett, lol nice!
I also stalled a lot with my Umbreon too.. Tho' I did spam Ultra Potions..

Mix of planning, cheese and suffering. I did play it on Intense Set/No items and it's probably the worst fight in the game because of the field, yeah. Naturally there are ways to win but this fight is just objectively bad because of the field.

Yeah, I listed all the things that makes that Aegislash complete bullshit..
It's like Jan wanted that Aegislash to be some sort of final boss.. The damn thing is already a UBER tier for a reason for crying out loud.. Did it really need all these boosts?!
