I’m interested in what a dimensional rift human would be like. I know Aelita was a rift once but that was a weird one.

isn't basically every Rift weird? probably everyone would look different, depending on what negative feelings they have. It also seems to depend on how much Rift matter they absorb. Take Zetta as an example: his body also contains Rift matter, but that's what helped him look human

    • Hmm 1
  2. online play is not available at all, the Destiny Knot is available after getting the 5th gym badge. In Kakori village there's a woman who you can tell about the Xen ship, go and meet her there, then show her around, afterwards come back to Kakori and she'll give you the Destiny knot

  3. Really good guide, love it. Gives some pretty good tips one might not consider, like Power Trip on Empoleon which seems pretty broken.

Typhlosion also has a very interesting option with Nature Power, since the move it turns into can be either physical or special, so Typhlosion can always cover both.

By the way, you can teach egg moves with the second move relearner in Sheridan village, no need to breed. Thus it's really easy to get some of the sets.

Also, it's nice that you made the EV spreads so detailed and considered other mons (e.g. still outspeeding others), but Rejuv often exceeds the 252 limit, especially on Intense, so it might sometimes not work out.

Could it be that she used some kind of garufan magic and that changed her persona

Maybe the spell she used on Karen backfired, as usual for garufan magic, and changed her as a result?
Although I don't think her character was out of the ordinary, seemed normal to me to react this way to your parents' murderer. In part 3 she was probably just surprised to see her again, or didn't bother to argue with a loco Karen since she wouldn't even care, which is probably the reason why she reverted Karen's mind to normal before exacting revenge.

  5. The AI calculates the damage it can cause to your pokemon for every move and then chooses the most efficient one. For example it will choose a weaker or resisted move if it knows the damage will be enough to KO.

Don't quote me on this, I might be completely wrong, but I believe that Illusion only lets the AI think you have different typing. It probably takes your mons defense values directly, or your mons dex number to look the values up. Those numbers don't get changed by Illusion, so a low-defense Zoroark is still likely to be attacked by an apparently resisted move, especially after one Swords Dance. Also think about it, why didn't it use Play Rough immediately? That's a pretty strong STAB move for Mimikyu, it would have likely been a OH-KO on a Zoroark even without Swords Dance, but it chose to boost its attack because it thought you're Poison type and that you'll live a neutral Shadow Claw, but after +2 Att a resisted STAB Play Rough was now enough to KO your allegedly frail mon based on calculations, so the AI chose that move to preserve PP for Shadow Claw in order to be more efficient.

Maybe someone who knows how the code works could enlighten us?

The way that the AI in Reborn works is really weird. It's like it learned about your first move, and then adjusts it's behaviour depending on what happened on the first turn, and changes around the next turn. It basically fools itself on the first turn, but acts as if Ilusion didn't existed on the second turn. The game knows that you have Ilusion, but it decides that the opposing pokemon is a Zoroark in the second turn. And this is basically the way it works with other abilities, like Water Absorb, for example. Yes. The AI knows that the Zoroark is using Ilusion, but it decides to ignore it on the first turn, and it acts as if it knew that an Ilusion is up on the second turn, even if the moves the Zoroak uses are the exact same as the Garbodor, for example

TL;DR: The AI is dumb on the first turn, but then cheats on the second turn

Also, if you need help with Mimikyu, you can catch a Klink in the Railnet, evolve it into Klank, Shift Gear. Gear Grind, and kill

If it was so, then the AI would attack you on the first turn despite having negating abilities, but it never did so for me. When I used a Lightning Rod Goldeen against Julia, she never used Electric moves even once, not even on the first turn. The AI knew I was immune and didn't ignore it on the first turn. But when I still had Swift Swim on it, the AI immediately used Electric moves. That's why I think that the AI is looking at the calculated damage to choose its move, it doesn't even know how to take Abilities into consideration, just the numbers.

The Barrier that was up before this event started has reappeared, is that not supposed to happen?

that definitely shouldn't happen, upload your save file here so that someone can eventually help you

How do we get inside that ruin?

    1. You need the Enigmatic key, so story from V12 needs to be finished.

    2. Go into the shrine underneath Aquamarine Cave (where Amber fell down), and dive in the little diving spot to the left. Save beforehand!! You have to dive at a specific point in that area, best would be as far down as possible, because when you get down you'll be inside of currents. Get onto the bottom tile so the current pushes you down to a spot behind a rock where you can't access otherwise. Go to the left and just follow the corridor until you get out of the ruin. Now there's gonna be a little building/tower in front of you, interact with it, it will say that a door somewhere opened.

    3. Now go to the hidden area behind Aquamarine Cave. Enter the diving spot to the far right to reach the building which you can enter now.

Also good point. Does this mean that the springs created by garufans?

Lol now that you say it I'm not so sure, I always thought too that these are from the Garufans, but all of their other ruins look different and I don't remember if it was ever said that they build these futuristic ones.

Does this mean that Spacea and Tiempa are palkia and dialga?

So far we can only theorize that, as it isn't officially confirmed, but there are some hints. Also, through Griselda/Girantina we know, that it is possible for humans to become pokemon.

There's actually lore on this in the game. On Route 6, there's that underwater building with lots of books about the Interceptor. One of them describes experiments with the Archtype which sometimes turned people into legendary pokemon.

Also, I was wondering if there's another hidden sci-fi ruin, like in the pyramid, underneath the spring in Sheridan village. Because both of the other two springs have ruins like that where the water gets purified, so Sheridan should have such a ruin as well.

I actually don't think we're going to fight Saki next, I think that Freya deleted Saki because in Saki's Twitter in the last two pictures, Freya and Saki meet on a bridge, interact with each other and then Freya was the only one there and it was never said that we're fighting Saki next she just opened a Twitter account, so my guess is that Saki is the last gym leader we're going to fight and we're going to battle Damian or the fairy/dark leader next and then be able to use Waterfall.

We can actually know that she's next because the game files already have the whole set of gym badges, that's how we know the Steel gym is next in order, so it's very likely we're fighting Saki next. Also that Twitter account was a way of foreshadowing the events of the next version, Jan did that kind of thing before, and Zumi herself stated there's already a big hint towards Saki's new appearance, so we'll definitely see her in V13.
Her disappearance in that picture might imply the "old Saki's" existence disappearing, due to the kidnapping and memory manipulation which Adam and Valarie went through as well. Also Freya basically helped and protected Saki on Terajuma after she flew off the ship, so it would be contradicting for her to suddenly harm her.

The Magneton is not normal. And also it's not a problem, it was just suprising to see it and I laughed like a madman when I saw it.

Was it "normal strong" or was it, like, super bulky? I'm really curious to know if this is just a normal Magneton with the wrong sprite or actually the Garufan one?

I've been thinking, and I think that griselda is alive and maybe we also met her. My theory is that madame x is Griselda because both of them have black hair, this would explain how Madame x knows everything she knows and why she needs melia's powers.

    Spoiler

Griselda is alive because she is Giratina. It's told that she transformed when she was about to die.

I believe Amanda meant she has chosen gym leaders who are weaker than they should be (like Texen or in the case West Gearen City position chaos) or left positions vacant so when a regional crisis happens, they wouldn't be of any help (We just had the "big luck" that most of these changes happened after we obtained the strong ones badge 😂). But I can't believe anyone from the ones we fought already were used as agents, as all of them were either supporters for our cause, had their own circumstances (Kennan), didn't even really count and Team Amanda had no influence over them (Puppetmaster/Marianette) or like Angie and Flora who pursued their own (evil) agenda. The last two only played into Amanda's hands with their actions. Okay, who knows what happens in the future, now that Amanda's plot was revealed and we all know Jan and his surprises 😅

For the gym leaders we couldn't battle, as they were replaced through some circumstances, like Talon, it could be possible that they are agents/spies.

Plot twist: Team AA is behind all and they just act as useless idiots, so that nobody takes them serious 😂

you're right, lol, of course the ones we've met couldn't be spies, I already completely forgot everyone's story and personality after finishing the game again just recently 😅

Second Plot Twist: Team AA was founded by Crescent, to stop us from helping others and go live a normal life 😂

Lol thats true, didn't remember that, the fame thing makes sense, since Nancy is an idol (if our 'mother' really was the real Nancy)🙈 that would mean that they are indeed allies of Crescent, 'cause she gave Nim/Lorna her orders. As for why Crescent wanted Nim/Lorna to turn the gym leaders to stone, I think she wanted to stop the MC from gaining badges and through that hindering us in our journey or in gaining entry to the top 8, which would imply that there is somehow more to them than just the connection to Amanda's mystery organization, maybe even a deep connection to Team Xen or Indriad. Wouldn't surprise me anymore 😅

Another thing regarding Crescent: During our scene with her when we died on Valor Mountain, she implied that those we lost can be rescued. First I thought we can revive them with the soul stone, but during our first trip to the past we learned that the stone was empty and till now we only obtained Anathea's soul. And even if Nancy was a doll/android/former maid it is possible for her to have a soul and it is really impossible that Jenner had no soul...so did they really die and if the answer is no what could have happened to them and how can they be saved. Maybe Crescent didn't just save Nim but also Jenner and during the Blacksteeple arc Nancy (not her body but her soul) This means she only used their "deaths" to manipulate us. On the other side then why the hint that they can be rescued? Maybe in future updates (postgame?) we have the chance to travel to important points of our past adventures and rescue the souls of the persons who died for our sake or without reason🤔

The thing about stopping us from getting badges is actually a pretty good idea about her motivation.

Also, since Amanda mentioned the league already being infiltrated, wouldn't that mean some of the gym leaders we met were already spies/agents/or whatever of the organization Amanda came from? Maybe someone will betray us in the future. Maybe Crescent was targeting those leaders she believes to be part of said organization by petrifying them in order to get in their way and protect the MC?

The implication of saving everyone might also be possible by going back in time, since the whole story seems to be a time loop, as mentioned by Madame X and Kieran several times, who comment on events happening differently from what they know. Would be the easiest way at least. Also, the Last Ditch Project in Amethyst Grotto might have something to do with it, although I don't remember exactly if that was implied.

Ups, it seems i have forgotten some things from WLL 😅 and regarding the team Xen banners: wouldn't that mean that Indriad was Xenadin or there is at least a big connection between them? (Phew, home many possible identities has this guy 0.0) Since the present Team Xen didn't exist at that time, if I recall that correctly.

Hopefully we will learn more of the Miera Region and/or Xenadin&Freya in the next update, it would definitly bring some light to this puzzle (and another hundred questions 😅)

Yes Indriad being Xenadin is what I think as well, at least if Madame X truly is Maria or Melia.

And I'm really interested in the connection between Maria and Marianette, and also with Melia if there is one. This seems to be the biggest piece of the puzzle we are still missing, since a connection was implied right at the beginning, yet we still don't have an answer.

  15. Welcome on the forum, hope you'll have fun with this community!

You can catch Bunnelby after two badges, in a place called Rodochrine Jungle. There are small caves in that jungle, Bunnelby can be found in those caves.

Geara is a topic which bothered me for a while...if we stay with my theory that Team Xen works against Indriad (which btw makes sense, since I just remembered that Sirius was seemingly killed by a red haired woman when she destroyed Whispy Tower. This could be Freya aka the nasty red haired bitch who killed Kennan's family, and after the whole pyramid event we know she works with Madame X and I don't think she would help an organization which is led by someone who works for someone she killed, or at least tried to kill) then how came Geara into Team Xen? He wouldn't work against his hero, so maybe he was sent on Indriad's orders to act as some kind of double agent...

No the woman they saw had black hair, there's a NPC in Goldenleaf town (below Ren's home) who tells the story and how Narcissa saw a woman with black hair in a black dress smile at her. Also that fire wasn't started because of Indriad, as it is shown in WLL that they tried to kill Kenneth's daughter, whose class had a school trip there on that day.
We also know that Freya wasn't working together with whoever started those fires, because the blackmailer pressured Kenneth to kill Taelia himself (since they seemingly didn't know who the "Maiden of Resurrection" was), while Freya knew it's Taelia and planned on killing her herself.

About Geara: I'm not really sure about this, but I believe that he lost contact to Indriad after the fire. Especially since Indriad seems to have fused with Anju. And like I said, Team Xen banners and even their logos are all around the lab, which were definitely put up beforehand by Indriad or Geara, since Geara's last journal was written while they were trapped by the fire, and afterwards the lab was sealed off until we arrived so noone could've entered between then and the present time.
