  1. This may be a cheap strategy, but lead with your Ninetales to prevent aurora veil being set up. Then bring in Lucario with magical seed -> swords dance -> sweep. Teach it bulldoze and protect so it can hit Klefki and Aegislash while stalling out Titania's magical seeds. All you need to look out for is Scizor's bullet punch and paralysis from Klefki.
  2. I guess you could keep Flygon's item slot flexible for stuff like seeds, sitrus berries etc. where you change it depending on the fight. Otherwise try out life orb or assault vest for a bit more bulk. Wow, this will let you bulldoze past practically anything! It's roughly like bringing Salazzle in with nasty plot already set up for it's stab attacks.
  3. You're team looks pretty good already, they're all good mons that cover each other well. You might need another tanky pokemon as you only have Aggron, all your other mons are trained in attack/sp.attack and speed so when Aggron goes down no-one else can take the big hits. Aggron also has no healing, like you said a wish user would work or put some leftovers on him. Togekiss would be an awesome partner to Aggron, immune or ticked by ground and fighting attacks, wish user and bulky. Even without changing your lineup some good items will make your team a lot stronger. Aggronite and leftovers are available soon after restoring the city, and life orb after getting rock climb which would suit Salazzle nicely. Choice scarf is unobtainable in ep18 although magma gives choice band and aqua gives specs, so Flygon will be slower than some of the pokemon you'll face against late game. Moves are good too, if cosmic power + recover works on Starmie keep it, and some hp evs will go a long way with that build. Keep in mind Starmie has lots of coverage moves available even without ice beam like thunderbolt, flash cannon, dazzling gleam and icy wind. Flygon could learn thunder punch or superpower soon from tutors, but yeah u-turn would be ideal. Teaching Salazzle heat wave will make it a terror in doubles. These are mostly smaller changes, honestly I think you can reach the end of ep18 as is as your team's really good.
  4. I think Skuntank was on ground floor/1f level of celestine cascade available after reaching the circus. There's a strength rock on a bit of ice you need to move past. You might need waterfall idk.
  5. I like Radomus and Serra, having all those kids between them and yet still flirting with each other (even in front of them lol). Tbh I ship them all as a family than just Rado + Serra in particular. Noel and Lumi, I mean they've never talked but there's a bittersweet moment with them in Calcenon with Anna and Radomus. With the protag I guess either Charlotte or Cain, although Charlotte's been kinda quiet lately so I'm leaning towards Cain. My random ship is those two npc's on Beryl bridge after the restoration, ones facing the desert and one's facing the city. They're both alone, romantic spot... (as far as they know )
  6. I changed the tiles to the one I needed before moving onto the moving conveyer belt things. It gives you plenty of time to see where you need to go next and if you accidentally move before you're ready you won't get shocked. If you have ground types or pokemon with volt absorb or motor drive in your party they won't get damaged by the shock so you can practice the puzzles.
  7. Good luck! Some of those later battles are going to be really hard challenges for you to pass. Although Sandslash, Quagsire, Marowak? Such interesting pokemon you'll get to use through your playthough. Some other mons that are worth looking into could be Kadabra (glass cannon, but will drop off late game, no strong moves), Metang (good typing, defences with eviolite), Tangela (physical tank with eviolite + high special attack, heals) and Emolga (motor drive, heaps of utility moves, free switch-ins always help on set mode). Which parts of the run are you dreading? I think Blake will be kinda hard, and... deciding which mon will get the eviolite
  8. I tried Nicocchi said and got Reborn running a bit smoother, especially in Spinel Town! It was pretty unbearable there before running on a single core. Fast forward smooths the experience out back to normal speed in some laggy areas, but I'm sure you've already noticed that.
  9. You can try, I'm not sure if the game has a check for whether the puzzle's been completed or not. There's multiple answers to the puzzle itself, but when you complete it the numbers all rearrange into what becomes Sarena's code.
  10. I agree with everything said above, except Scald TM you can't get until way later. So it's Hydro Pump or Water Spout of Jellicent. Be careful with replacing Golem if you do, you might want something that can take physical hits as nothing else on your team can. Some good replacements you can get before Serra are Escavalier, Aggron, Fossil pokemon. Soon after Mudsdale and Steelix are available. Don't write Honchcrow off yet as it can work great in some situations with stab Sucker Punch + Moxie, off it's very high attack stat makes it a good sweeper. It can struggle though in double battles though because of it's low defences. Murkrow learns Tailwind too, so learn that before you evolve him, as it can make slower, tankier pokemon on your team a lot more threatening.
  11. I'm on my first play through of Reborn, and recently got destroyed by Solaris's Garchomp on top of the volcano. Did not see that coming, fighting such overleveled pokemon. Nevertheless, I bred for a check to these fights in the furture: With Sturdy, and I'll teach it Toxic and Protect once I find the TM's. So what other gimmick strats have any of you used for these fights in Reborn?
